*Detailed* 6X6 Lace Closure Wig Install + Lace Melt | The Best Waterwave Hair Ft Upretty Hair

Hi guys welcome welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, alright of whatever it's me and i'm back with another video back with another hair video y'all know the drill. You know how it goes. My goal with these hair videos is to teach out something new. Every time - and i'm really trying to do that - make sure you're tuning into the hair videos because they really be lit, but today i'm just going to be applying this wig that i got from you pretty hair. The hair is so nice as y'all can see. I already went ahead and customized this wig off camera. All i did was bleach the knots i plucked it a bit. If you want to see a plucking tutorial, i have a plug-in tutorial up actually and i'll put it here on the screen and also in the card. So you can literally just go check it out. If you want to, i bleached the knots and put some water in the hair - and i styled it - this is their water wave hair. This is a 6x6 closure wig. This is not a frontal. It'S a closure, and i'm really excited for this, because i am so tired of frontals. You already know. Frontals are a lot like, even if you know how to do them. Even if you don't it's just a lot of work period and sometimes it just gets tiring. You know - and i just want to put on a good closure wig, so i'm really excited about this. This is 24 inches of hair. I believe it might be 26, i'm not sure, but if you want to know specifically check in the description box, because all the information will be in the description box and without further ado. Let'S go ahead and get right to this video and i am going to show you guys a way to get the lace to match your skin perfectly. It is super easy and i'm telling you guys this method works every time. Okay, all you need is some foundation. I'M using my nyx can't stop, won't stop foundation, and these two foundations are my perfect match mixed together. I actually have that foundation on right now and i really really love these foundations. They'Re amazing. I have this brush here. This brush is specifically for my lace. I do not use it for anything else. I do not use my face brushes for this. This is like a super old real techniques brush that i've just always had that. I really don't use anymore you're, just gon na pump some of this foundation on the back of your hands or wherever you feel like pumping it and i'm gon na mix mine together. If you have a foundation that just matches you perfectly, you can obviously use that, but i have to mix these two to get my color and all you're gon na do is take that foundation put some on the brush and you're just going to spread it around. The lace evenly you want to get it as even as possible. I don't put it all over the lace, because you're not going to see all of the lace the parting. Obviously, you are going to see the parting, and i also like to put it on the very front where you're going to see the lace and usually if this was a front toe, then i would use some got to be spray just to lock it in. For a long time, this will make it last longer, but i'm not going to be wearing this for a long time, so i don't really need the guys to be spray, even if you don't put the got to be spray, it's still going to last. It'S not going to wash off unless you put water on it or something or you washed it, which you wouldn't do, because the lace is on your head. I'M telling you guys, like this works every time. Look at it. Does that not look like my skin? I should have showed y'all how it looked before i put the foundation on there, but look look at that. It'S like the perfect match. Literally. This is actually the bag that the hair came in. I'M gon na show you guys what it came with, because i think that's fun came with a little bonnet. This green bonnet. These bonnets are cute, but they don't last really long like the stretch always goes out really fast. It also came with some lashes. Of course, you know they always put the lashes in there that i never wear, because they're never cute on me, but it also came with a wig cap, which i also never wear, because it's not my color. It came with a little card that has their information on it, but today we're going for the frontal look. This is a 6x6 closure, like i said, and you guys can see. It has two clips on the side of it, and it also has a clip back here. I believe it also has a clip on the back and it has these adjustable straps, which you're definitely going to have to use, because let me show you guys when you just put the wig on it. Just it's like very big. So then, when you pull the straps, you know it. Obviously, like fits more to your head, so you're going to want to use the elastic band, i'm going to tighten mine right now, i'm not sure what density this is, but the the closure is very thick. So i'm just going to use my hot comb just to press this down a bit and make it even flatter, because i feel, like it looks very, very humpy. We already even brought out the baby hairs and everything. So this is going to be a super. Easy install. This is why i love to do everything with my wigs off of my head before i apply the wig because it's so much easier to apply the wig when you've already done like all the hard stuff off your head. So i'm taking my lace cutter and i'm going to start cutting the lace, but first i'm going to cut it down the middle y'all see this part right here where it's like the little edge piece. I'M gon na cut that off, because it does not look good. Like that there we go now, it's gon na be like it's gon na, be like this, and that's all you're gon na see start with this side. This is going to take us no time at all. I am an advocate for flat installs. I hate when hair is like super bumpy or humpy or any of those things. It'S really not that hard to get a flat install to lay our lace today, i'm just using some got to be spray. Nothing too crazy. You know one thing i hate about: got2b spray is like the way that it sprays it sprays so aggressively like calm down girl and i hate when it drips down my face. That'S like my biggest pet peeve. I'M gon na cut these pieces because it keeps getting in my way, and i don't like that. I'M gon na take my blow dryer y'all. Look what i did to my blow. Dryer, like this is the ghetto, but i'm gon na take my blow dryer on the cool setting, make sure using the cool setting the warmer settings. It'S just gon na heat up the glue and it's just gon na be tacky and nasty, so use the cool setting. Do y'all see how easy that was, it literally took no time like none like we're, literally almost done um as i was drawing it. I was pushing it into my skin, like i was like pressing on it really hard. So that's a good trick. If you wanted to really to really melt in now it's time for the baby hairs, i feel like that should be easy. So before i leave my baby hairs, i'm just going to pluck them just a little bit, because i feel like they're a little too thick. This isn't even hd lace, i'm just letting y'all know that now, so i don't know if i want to lay my baby hairs with eco styler or a lot of body with mousse. I really don't know it really doesn't matter. I think i'm gon na just use the eco styler because it's been working for me lately so yeah. This is the coconut eco styler in case you're wondering the baby. Hairs are a bit long, so i'm just gon na i'm gon na cut them a little bit. So so, while that's sitting, i'm just going to go ahead and wet the hair with my water bottle and i'm also going to use some mousse and i'm also going to use some gel. So i'm going to show you guys how i get the curls to pop. My favorite tool to use is this brush that i got from beauty supply. It'S like a denman brush dupe. This is exactly how a denman brush looks, but this is just a little bit cheaper. I believe it was like three dollars, maybe even two dollars. The curls are already pretty nice, like they already look pretty good, but you know i'm just i'm just extra, so i'm just doing a little just a little more i'm gon na take the eco styler gel. This is just the gold eco styler gel. It'S like a little bit for the end of the hair, because i feel like the ends, get frizzy really fast and i'm take the mousse also. This is just for the whole head, and this is going to make the curl definition last all day and then what i'm going to do with the curls is just scrunch. You want to make sure you scrunch up. That'S! What'S going to get the curls to pop okay, i think we could take the scarf off now. It'S been it's given a little bit of time. Yes, girl, yes, okay, so the last little thing i'm gon na do is just take some of this wax stick. This wax stick was like three dollars at the beauty supply. It'S really really good. It'S thick, i don't know how to explain it, but it has a really firm hole. That'S what it says extreme firm hold. They do have it in a bigger tube, but i just decided to get these little ones, because i wanted to try them out and just see how it was, and i actually ended up really liking it. So i'm just using that and then i'm gon na follow it through with the hot comb. Here is the finished look y'all. We are literally done, and that was so fast like at this point. You should be a pro okay, because i gave you all the tips. I gave you all the secrets i gave you everything you need to know now. All you need to do is execute it. This wig is so nice like i've. Actually, i'm really shook like look how much the lace just like melts into my skin. It'S not even hd lace like i want you to know. This is not hd lace. This is regular lace, regular shredder lace and it's looking like hd lace, because it's just melting so well, and it's also because of the little foundation trick that i showed you guys. You should definitely try that out. If you have not already, i absolutely love this hair. Only thing is. I wish that this hair was a bit thicker. I feel like it's really really thin, and i don't really like that. I'M not a huge fan of thin hair like this is literally all the hair pulled forward. Maybe i don't know if they have a higher density. I don't remember what density i got, but hey it don't even matter because the hair is is slapping. Okay, it looks good as hell. I really don't have anything bad to say about this hair, it's pretty it's soft and when i was combing it out, it was barely shedding. This is really really like a good price. I think it was about 260 dollars. I think that's a good price honestly, i don't know about y'all. I know somebody's gon na be like that's, not even affordable, but i think that's affordable and i'm sure a lot of you guys do too. I really like the construction of the wig, also because look when you lift it right here, you cannot, you can't see like tracks or anything it just is just hair like falling down. I really don't have nothing else to say all you need to go cop. This wig, like exit this video right now and go cop.
