Make Your Closure Look Like Scalp!! | Hide The Grids In Your Lace Closure

Hey guys!!

In this video i will show you all how to make any closure look just like scalp with out spending the extra money on a silk base. Or simply hiding the grids in your lace closure.

* BTW I did not bleach this closure *

Items needed :

1. lace closure

2. Brushes (foundation) to apply the products

3. concealer or foundations

4. bond protective sheild (I was told in the comments that you can also use got2b glued in the black or yellow)

5. blow dryer (optional)

This is temporary..... it will wash away with water and shampoo if needed

If you make a mistake ....so no worries!

Try it out for yourself!

Hair specs - Bundles are from Yvonne hair from Aliexpress https://goo.gl/77IcrU

Closure is from Bliss wigs also from Aliexpress

Hi guys so, let's get right into the tutorial. So what you're gon na need, obviously, will be your closure, and this one here is from ballistics and, as you can see the goods within the lace um, it's just really really really obvious. Looking the grids are big. They don't blend, they don't look real or natural whatsoever. So what we're gon na do is this technique by Miss Bossy, live using concealer and bomb protective shield. That'S it two products, so you're, gon na turn your closure inside out and or, if you know your wig inside out and just get anything out the way like me, I have the last pin here or just getting here's out the way and two brushes one for Concealer one for the bomb protective shield, I'm sure you can get away with just one and concealer which I'm using elf, because it's cheap and it works. For me, the color is right, which is pretty sure foundation could work as well. So I'm here is the Holy Grail, the bomb protective shield. This is what's gon na make your closure look like scalp as if you're making your own silk base closure. Alright. So I know that I'm out of focus hair, but you can still sewed I'm doing. I will be in focus shortly, just remove any hairs that is in your way and just get your brush and your concealer and get to work so we're going to just start by filling in the entire closure, making sure that you get the front the back. The sides everywhere, because you want it to be one even thing, an even layer of concealer, because you could part this anywhere once you're done and it'll look like your scalp, so you know we're pretty much there right now by the way, this is going to be Layer, one of about three to four I'm gon na show you guys an entire process just so you see what it looks like throughout the process so that you don't freak out like oh, this looks terrible because it is gon na look pretty wonky, but once we Once we get about two three layers on there, then they'll start to look like what we're what we're aiming for. So I like to work in small sections so put down your bomb protective shield and then just start to working in, but you're not gon na push. This through the closure, like they're onto the hair, so you just wanted to get into the holes, just push it enough. What I could you know compare this to was kind of like if you're bleaching, your closure, you want it to get to the very, very roots of just an ox alone, but you don't want it to get onto the hair. You don't want to over bleach it. So it's the same type of idea here and I find that working in small sections is best and easier to get the product into the holes. Because I find that, if you're working in a big area, the product tends to stick to the brush and get off of the closure where we wanted to stay - and I'm really just doing this, so you guys can see how I did it. This could last you for a very long time. I had it on my wig for about a month and a half, I'm only doing it over for you guys - and this is a blow dryer, I'm just drawing between layers, because who has time to wait. The whole process took about five minutes to do this, and this is how it looks after the first layer, as you could definitely see where we need to go back and work on so next step. Consider again and again, even though we have certain areas, I need to focus on you're still going to put concealer all over, because it's all about even layers to me. If, like that's, what just you know gives me the best results, instead of just focusing on the areas that need it and then we're gon na go back in with our bomb protective shield, again working in small sections and just work, work, work, work, work and get That in there so after this we're going to dry again between the second layer and if there's any hair, as you can see here, just you know pull it out, get out your way. I missed one there, but that's okay, so drying again! Now that but dry, you could definitely see where I still need to. You know work on, but we're almost there guys so conceal again and don't forget to focus on the very front of the closure. That'S important as well or if you are, if you're gon na you know, intend on cluing it down, probably not, but I don't believe mines down so this. This point, where you know almost done to the point where I don't need to work in small sections, but you can, if you like, you can just get into every little nook and cranny and we're gon na try again and just remind you guys where we're coming From the very very bottom you know sometimes it's happen with you closures, but it's okay. We made it work for us, so here is how it looks after it's dry and here's. The big reveal guys look at that. Looking like somebody's scalp, I love it. So, as you can see, there's a huge difference, it looks like scalp, it has a do to it. Even though is gon na dry it a little bit more than this, but it's not gon na go matte, which is good because our scalp is not matte. You know we have a little bit of do to it. You ever see a guy who has a bald head, it's definitely shiny for a reason. We don't have matte scalp, so I hope this was helpful to you guys. I hope you guys enjoyed it and I hope it was quick and informative thanks for watching guys, bye E, you

Leemah Ay: My professors be looking at my scalp while I'm taking a test because of these lace grids .. Thanks for the help girl

Beauty by Nature: Thank you from all the medical hair loss ladies! These tips and tricks help us a lot! Wearing a wig is fun to some, but to us it's a sometimes harsh reality.

Gail lastof8: It's never too late to learn how to do it right. THANK YOU!!

Queen Bluntress: I used to do this back in the day about 7 yrs ago to my entire full lace. I never shared my secret because I was being petty But it works I buy foundation lighter than my face because my scalp is lighter and you can always find light liquid foundation at the dollar tree. All this expensive stuff people buy is unnecessary no one not even other wig wearers knew I had on a wig. Take your time ladies when you see people with obvious wigs on they did not have patience. It isn't anybody's business to know if you have a wig on. The tea hee hee is how well you can conceal it. This was a great tutorial.

LilyWildfl0wer: Thanks for sharing these simple steps. It truly made a difference to obtain that natural look. I can't wait to get started on my first wig.

kelleshae bryson: I love this! I tried it immediately after watching since I already had the protective shield and it came out great. Thank you!!

sensible socialite: I am so amazed at the knowledge I gain from you gals on youtube. thank u for sharing that. I'm going to try it out soon. I'm gonna attempt to make my own wig.

Mrs.Toy Williams: Wow! If my daughter knew how much I've learned from just YouTube she'd want me doing her hair. So I'm going to keep quiet. Thank you for putting an informative tutorial, most definitely on my list of to do's

fiya drews: It truly looks like scalp! This is such an easy process! I can't wait to try. Thanks for the tutorial.

Tamara Nichols: As I'm going down the results trying to figure out how to make my wig look natural I continued to bypass this video because it looked real and I thought it was someone's real hair. I'm beyond happy that it continued to pop up, making me curious to watch. This was VERY USEFUL INFORMATION! You have definitely gained a subscriber from me

Brittany: Black women are so creative! Thank you so much for this video. I have been trying to learn as much as I can before I purchase a lace closure.

Sri Bonus: This is amazing! Thank you for sharing. I'm actually going to start wearing wigs now because of this vid. I was so concerned before with closures because no matter how much makeup people put on them or bleached the knots the looked wiggy. This method really takes the realism to next level! You just got a new subscriber!

mya !: Thank you for getting right into the tutorial instead of doing all that “subscribe and turn on the post notifications and subscribe because YouTube doesn’t send you notifications when I post and hit the bell icon because that helps me alot!!”

fca2d: Loved this tutorial! I am ready to start on my wig now. Thanks for sharing!

D Ransom: Thanks for this. I always wondered if you could use a rubber-like product on the grid. I just bought a braided wig and it looks grid-like. Also, the second option for those who like to wash there wigs often and don't feel like doing this, you can always buy brown or skin tone silk and sew it under the wig for scalp like look.

Azjanae Fields: I have never seen anyone do this and I have been looking for a way to make my closure look more realistic I LOVE THIS it really looks great thank you so much for sharing

Leah Mckenzie: Love this method!!! Even the black bond protective shield will work for this is blends and dries clear when mixed with the foundation. I used the same brush for both, IT WORKS!!

Queen Maddie: So happy I found this, great alternative for bleaching knots... well, for me because I always tend to over bleach. Thank you so much!

MsPreciousHoney: I tried this and it looks so good. I don't know why everyone is not doing this. I've this video to several people I know. Thank you for the awesome tip.

Natty G: FYI "Got to be" gel either the yellow or black tube works just the same/ if not better. Love this idea as well though.

E Taylor: so happy I watched this....I have been looking for an alternative to bleaching the knots and what you did looks fabulous!!  can't get over how real the part looks...great video

whoIsJasmineblack: Thank you for this video!! I'm waiting on some bundles and my lace closure to come this week and I certainly will be using this method on my closure!!! New subbie too

Renisha Cox: This came in SOOOO handy! I’ve been wearing a hat bc my old method isn’t hittin this time. Thank you!!!

Cle-Oh TheVirgo: When I heard you say concealer I was thinking " not another concealer video" so ready to leave. But I'm glad I stayed because this is honestly the first time I've seen it done this way & most definitely the best one . The other videos I've seen some people literally swipe the concealer on there like "done" & it's highly noticeable. Thank you so much for this

Melissa K: This worked perfectly! Thank you for sharing!

Cr Rich: Yup! The truth! Did this last night but I used what I had on hand: yellow g2bg and the ebin lace tint and OMG! I saw this on somebody else's channel first but I'm so thankful for whoever came up with it! Game changer bcuz let's b honest...IDGAF how slayed and laid and melted yo frontal is, that screen door shit ain't it at all!

Ashley Robinson: Thank you! I can't wait to start my first wig!

forevertiana: This was truly unique and way different from what I have ever seen before! I will try this and see how it works for me... thanks for sharing this idea!

Crystal Armstrong: Thank you so much for taking your time to do this. So many tutorials but they really don't want you to know the beauty secret. Your amazing love

Max Ramsey: Thanks very quick and informative and inexpensive... looks amazing

Neacy Rose: You came through! The holes in the lace is what kept me from lace front wigs and closure.

Christina: Thank you! I will try this ❤️

TheNewMe: This method is so much easier and less stressful than bleaching. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Farrah Jayy: This method is AMAZING. I tried it on my closure & it worked....but for some reason, the protective shield made the color of the concealer lighter, so my "scalp" was WAY lighter than my actual face. So I washed it off & tried again...with the darkest LA pro concealer & it made a difference but it's STILL significantly lighter when applied with the protective shield. Idk man...

JIL Forever: Well done!  Wow, I will definitely will try this.  Thank you so much.

Arandolph: great video thanks! Can I also suggest hair spray works just as good and with less time than the bonding protective shield. I have a full lace wig and used my face foundation powder and hair spray, few coats ( you definitely need to do a few like your video suggest) but the drying time is less and looks just like the hair is growing out my scalp

Stephanie Cain: Just subbed to your channel. This tip is amazing!

Blue Skyy: Amazing! Thank you so much!!!

MomNurse Fashionista: OMG!! Very informative....looks so real!!

sistaj1000: Thank you for responding so promptly

Indyboo Jones: Has anyone found a method that is waterproof? I was thinking if I use a waterproof foundation and mix it with a clear silicon waterproof sealant then brush it on the lace should do the trick and you probably could get away with doing one layer since the silicon I'm assuming would be thick enough to evenly distribute across the lace filling in all the holes. Then for washing and cleaning your unit, you would just wash like normal and hypothetically speaking there should be minimum shedding because the silicone would act like a weft sealant? I don't what do y'all think? does this sound too crazy lol.

I am Tye Shereé: Thank you for sharing! Going to use this method!

SilentlyAdorable: Never would have thought of that!!! Thanks for sharing. I'll be sticking around.

Antionette Smallwood: Thank you for the video! I'm going to try this out. This was my first time seeing you and I'm going to subscribe to your channel now.

Ester da Silva Nilssen: You got a subscriber girl ! That was genius.

Kimberly Wilson: thanks so much for sharing! I can't wait wait to try this!

Naruto: this was an awesome tutorial, thank you! Can this method be used on synthetic lace fronts as well?

Only1Sosa: Couldn't I mix the concealer and sealing bond together first?

Aisha Nichole: i am soo SHOOK. how did i never think of this ? great vid , girl ! ☺❤

MrsMequaBz: OMG...beautiful! i will be using this method from now on. Can you also use on synthetic wig? I would assume so.

Samueletta Humphrey: Fabulous! Thanks for sharing.

Chrioni Shelley: Definitely going to do this!

Bria Bishop: Can't wait to try, thank you sooo much

Ashe: What if over the final layer you used a form of hair glue and a light cloth or type of lace to stick to it in order to avoid it touching your head or sweat getting to it?

Ana Susete Oliveira da Lomba: New subscriber love this video so helpful thank so much

Ashanti: love this, cant way to try. Great video!

Niesha Holland: This is the first time that I've seen this on YT. Thank you so much!

TellmeYouLoVeMe7: I want to do this on my full lace wig, would this make it crunchy? or would it still feel like regular lace?

Melanin Strength: Wonder if we can do this with something that doesn't wash away as fast love this though

Ohhhnyny: I have to try this idea on the closure I just made..the knots annoy me a little bit too even though for the most part they aren't bad. Great video!

Beth Johnson: Just FYI I tried this. Make sure you use a CREAM concealer not a liquid one. I used liquid and it bled thru into the blond hair strands on the other side. Only used one thin coat but I had to shampoo a bunch to get the concealer color out of the hair strands. So if I try this again I will use a cream concealer.

Elyscia Saint-Hilaire: ive literally watched this video a ton of times over some months as i debate on doing it to a 360 frontal wig i have (but i only plan on doing this method in the middle part area since thats where i mostly part my units but i have some questions before i actually take the dive and do it haha: 1) do you think this prevnts the closure/frontal from shedding in the area applied? 2)how do you think this process effects the longevity of the closure/frontal 3) with this is it okay to have a wig sowed onto a head for a bout a weeks time or no because i saw some comments mentioning sweating and it dripping off and stuff? 4) and lastly how many times do you think a frontal/closure can take this process (like 3-4x or it doesn't matter). i know its a lot of questions and understand if you dont know the answer to them all but i would really apprecaite some help cuz the struggle is real! thanks again for the tutorial love.

Jasmine Johnson: Sis!!!!!!! This is everything!!

Kartari Yoga x Christine DeLisser: great video , thanks for being so detailed !! when you wash the wig did the concealer come off the scalp?

leesway: yaaaasssss this is gold. so glad i stumbled upon this. my first wig is gonna look pro instead of like those disasters you see on folks. hopefully.. >・<

Lee Cocoa: So glad I found you!!! Doing this tonight!! The best method I've seen on youtube.
