So today i'll be working with a 20 inch kinky curly 5x5 lace closure wig. So the knots on the closure are already bleached and the hairline is already pre-plucked for us. The wig does come with three combs and an adjustable strap as well as a removable, elastic band and here's how the wig looks when you first take it out of the package and place it straight onto your head. I love the curl pattern. I love how beautiful these curls look already and i can't wait to style the wig. The first thing that i'm going to do is pluck away some more hairs from the hairline. Although the hairline is already pre-plucked, i am going to do the beige method of zigzag. Plucking and parting to thin out the hairline a little bit more hello, i'm obsessed with this closure. I think it looks so natural. Look at that comment down below if you are too for the look that we are going for. I want to do a side part today, so i am going to pre-part the wig and then i am going to tint the lace grabbing, the lace tint that i have, that is the color of my scalp. I am going to spray where my scalp would be on the wig and then blow dry, i'm going to do two layers of that. So typically, i would apply the lace tint that i have that is labeled skin, that is the color of my foundation to the hairline, but because this is already tinted brown or medium brown, i am not going to apply that lace tint to it, because it will Darken it and it will be too dark for my complexion, okay, so moving on to styling i'll be grabbing this extreme styling gel, as well as a foam wrapping mousse a spray bottle of water. My denman brush, as well as a detangling comb, grabbing small sections of hair. I will be fully detangling. Each section then grabbing a spray bottle of water. I will be fully saturating the section with water grabbing that foam lotion. I will be applying that to the section as well as applying gel to it then grabbing my denman brush, i'm going to start from the bottoms and work my way upwards to get these curls to pop uh fancy, because i chose to do a side part on This wig, it does look asymmetric, but if i did do a middle part, the hair would be all the same length on to the install process. Closure. Wigs, of course, are the easiest to install. So, let's jump right into it. I'M going to grab my razor and razor away that extra lace, so next, i'm just going to grab, got to be ultra glue gel in the black tube. I am going to apply a thin layer of that to my middle forehead. Then i'm going to use my blow dryer and blow dry until it is tacky grabbing the wig. I am going to place it over that tacky gel and then i am going to place my head scarf on top of that to allow it to set 15 minutes later, i'm going to remove my head scarf and grab my diffuser, i'm going to diffuse this hair In sections - and this is going to give it more body and volume - i am also going to grab my pick and tease the roots a little bit to give it more elevation.
