Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you are new here, you are welcome. Today, i'm going to be showing you guys how to make a box braided wig using a lace closure, part 1, and in this part i'm going to show you guys how to sew. The lace closure on the wig cap, so let's get started, i'm going to be using a 4x4 lace closure, some t-pins or quilting paint a curved needle some thread and the wig cap. I started braiding already, so i'm going to go ahead and place the lace closure on top of the wig cap. The closure is where i want it to be: i'm going to pin it down, making sure everything is flat before i start sewing, i'm going to get the hair out of the way you can either twist it or braid it and hold it down with a hair. Clip just do what works best for you, i'm going to start sewing and i will be using the curved needle. It is more efficient, but very challenging for me, because i'm used to using the straight needle you guys are going to see this stitch is going to be different from the straight stitch. I use the other hand to create the loop and the needle goes through that loop, so guys at any point, if you notice the lace, closure is not laying flat. Just take your time. Take out the pins make every necessary adjustments before you continue sewing the closure. Slightly overlaps, the wig cap - and i do it this way, just to make sure that it's not pulling back when i start sewing. If you are new to my channel and you, like my content, consider subscribing and to my returning subscribers, you guys are just the best. I love you all, thank you guys for your support and we are almost at 1 000 subscribers and it's almost a year of being on youtube, so continue sharing this video and invite your loved ones to join the family. Thank you. I'M almost done sewing and, as you can see when i get to the end i'm pulling before sewing so that the lace closure is not pulling back, i'm also going to knot it several times to secure and i'm going to show you guys how it looks and Then we go to the next stage. The closure is laying down nice and flat. I also ensured that the stitches were closer to each other for more security. You don't see any spaces between the stitches, so we're going to go ahead and cut out the cup underneath the loose closure, i'm going to start in the middle and work. My way around also be careful not to cut the lace and leave enough seam allowance. In most of my videos, i show you guys how to make a braided wig without a lace closure. So this is what i call the lace closure and if you want to see the rest of the video make sure you are subscribed and your notification bell is on. Thank you guys so much for watching in part two. I'M going to show you guys how to braid on the lease closure. If you found this video helpful, give it a thumbs up share with someone and why not subscribe, remain creative and i'll see you guys in my next video
