Hi guys welcome back to my channel alexis nicole here. Thank you all for tuning in today we're going to be working with curly me, hair um. I bought this hair. This is a 5x5 26 inch wig from curly me hair. I got it in brazilian and body waste and i dyed it all black here's the box here inside you get some lashes. You get a edge wrap, you get a wig cap and then of course, some information on the company on the hair itself. How to take care of it, how to dye it and how to maintain it, just some good information and then, of course, all of their contact information on the hair, the instagram and where you can find the hair is on there as well. This is me, showing you all the lace um. The knots did bleach really well, as you can see um, i did bleach them twice to get the type of um blonde that i needed for the knots so that it can match my scalp more um. The lace is kind of weird, but we're going to talk about that later um. I went ahead and made a side part in my hair, because that's how i wanted my hair to be and i've never loaded up. I can't talk y'all. I learned this new trick. Um i saw this on tick tock. This girl. She took a mousse, i'm using lotta body um, because that's all i had the time so i'm using lotta body to mold the hair down so that it can be flat. Usually, i would take forever and use my hot comb and my flat iron and wax stick to get it to lay flat. But i saw the tik tok where the girl literally put mousse on her hair and she tied it up and then like. It was like flat. I know i like my hair to be already fletcher flat and girl. When i tell y'all this worked like magic. This stuff worked like magic, like it literally cut down the time that i would use to mold my hair down and make it flat by like a thousand, as you can see like, i haven't even laid the hair down yet, and it's already looking flat. I wanted mine to be super flat, so i went ahead and parted it down the middle and then added some more mousse there so that it can lay flat within the inside of the closure. But i really didn't need to do that because it was already flat. Y'All, like this is my new trick. My new favorite trick to get my wigs to lay flat and then, of course, like with the mousse um. It'S not going to wet your hair because mousse or a lot of body or whatever you use, is going to make the hair crunchy hard. So it's not going to keep it wet like water, which is why i love it so much like. Why didn't i think of this myself like come on, like it's amazing y'all? Try it see how you like it and then let me know in the comments what you think okay, so i am using my dirty durag um. I don't know if this is silk or satin, i'm pretty sure it's satin though, but you can use whatever you have to tie down in your hair. Just make sure you have something that'll mold it down a scarf or do rag whatever you have in your. You know room or restroom whatever um - and i left this on for about 15 to 20 minutes, and i'm gon na show you how it looks like when i take it off, because this was amazing, okay y'all! So, as you can see, my hair is like so flat. I'Ve never had my hair just flat before i'm not going to even lie to you um. I did take my blow dryer and kind of use, my comb to kind of comb it out, but at the same time, give whatever spots didn't dry, fully completely dry so that it can stay in place and that my hair won't be like moist or sticky in Between because mousse does get moist or sticky, if you don't have it completely dry, when you're trying to style your hair, as you can see right now, i'm just using my nyx eyeliner pencil. This is the new one that i have and i'm just drawing out a line to figure out where i want to put my glue or my spray, i'm just spraying some alcohol right now to get rid of the oil and the dirty and whatever makeup i have In that area, and then i'm going to apply my glue, so i'm using my bold hold active glue to apply my lace as well as my ebin adhesive lace spray. I am going to apply two layers of my bold hold active and then i'm going to spray. It down with my ebi in adhesive lace, ray just for some more security and to just make sure that my lace stays to my head for the longest time ever. I usually keep my wigs on for about three days, so we want to make sure that our application goes on smoothly, but as well as we keep our wig snug and tight and secure with the proper adhesive. While that's drying, i'm going to use my kiss. I think this is a foundation cream um, it's kind of popular the hairstylist use it, and i put that on my lace to kind of blend it in with my skin, and i'm just applying my lace now y'all. Let'S talk about the lace, this was the hardest lace that i've ever worked with. Um, i'm not really sure why the lace could not stick to my hair um. I cut so much out, but i literally had to redo my lace. I'M not redo my lace. I'M sorry i had to redo my glue over and over and over, because the lace was just not sticking. I haven't had this problem with any other lace from any other company. It was just this particular lace. It literally took me like forever to get it to stay down like i just don't know what it was. Um i've been using the same glue, the same adhesive spray, so i couldn't figure out why this lace literally took me forever to get it to lay down. I literally had to put so much spray so much glue for it to lay the way that i wanted to, and i mean eventually it worked out for me, but like it just literally took forever and i just ended up blow drying it with my blow. Dryer tying it down and just praying hoping for the best, because i had no idea how i'm going to get this lace to lay down, but eventually it laid down and it came out beautiful, but it just took forever is if that's a bad okay guys. So i'm using my serum um - i don't remember the name, but if i do remember to put it in the description box, i certainly will i'm just putting a little bit of that. Well, not a little bit but a lot, because the hair is long. This serum literally lasts me forever. You need a little bit and a little bit goes a long way. Um. I use this serum to you know protect my hair from heat damage and it literally leaves it silky, smooth and so soft guys. I love it so much so i'm just putting it in my hair just to prep it for the curling method that i use to keep my curls, pretty i'm using a old remington flat iron. I got it off of amazon years ago and literally, like it's been my best friend for years, um, it's on 420 degrees and i'm just taking like medium-sized chunks to curl my hair. I don't want like really tight curls, but we're going for like waves, curls wand, curls body, wave curls, that's my go-to for right now, so i'm just curling my hair away from my face as usual. To give me the type of curls that i want and i'm gon na do the rest off camera. So i don't bore you guys, but oh i wan na be y'all. I was so nervous taking this scarf off my head, but as you can see, the lace laid down and it came out really really nice um. I had a little bit of baby hairs already like prepared for me because i played with the week before i put it on um, but i'm just going to go ahead and add some more baby hairs to my hair. To kind of make it look more. You know beautiful and great and grand and spectacular and really nice and i'm just going on and on, but i'm gon na put maybe like two more swoops in my hair. I like long baby hairs kind of like long but like natural. So that's what i've been doing so far with my wig styles, i had a problem doing baby hairs before, but now i feel like i had the hang of it, so your girl got it down, packed okay and i usually just use my got to be glued To lay my baby hairs because that keeps them in place even when i tie my hair up at night time and i take it off in the morning, my baby hairs are still in place. Another option you can do is using mousse. So if you want to use a blotter body that we used earlier, you can definitely use a lot of body, because that will keep your baby hairs in place as well. They will just be a little bit more softer. The um got to be glued will, keep them hard and in place longer, so i'm just using my hot combs to do a little one two, even though my hair is already flat. We want it to be super super super flat and yeah the kind of girl that you could i'm just adding some curls in my hair, as you saw, and i'm using my jaclyn hill neutral palette to kind of blend in my lace with my natural skin color. So it can blend in some more and look perfect like we want our lace to be melted anyway, we can get our lace to melt, we're going to do it so, as you can see like the lace literally like blended into my skin, like magic right um, But yeah guys, that's the hair, hope you all enjoyed this video. The hair came out beautifully um. It did take me a while to do this. I was hot in that restroom job, but it came out so great, i'm so proud of myself. I'M still working on how to keep my hair. You know beautiful and maintain it while i'm wearing my wigs as my hair grows underneath. So i'm so glad you guys watch this video hope. You all learned something - and i hope you all enjoyed the video happy new year - have a great day love you talk to you all later. Bye,
