I got ta stay be um, so obviously i haven't done anything yet. I did bleach the knots so if you could tell i did bleach them um, so yeah, i'm basically going to be like cutting layers, i'm going to do a middle part, of course, and i just kind of want it to flow. Naturally, on my face, basically, i'm not going to curl it. I just want it to flow naturally, and i want to cut a couple of layers, so this should be really cute. I think's. First, we have to get this lace to match because clearly this is not my shade and i'm just going to use this contour cream and apply it on top of the hairline. I did bleach the knots normally. I will apply it on top of the hairline to hide the knots if i didn't bleach them, but i did bleach the knots this time on this lace closure, but i'm still going to apply it on the top, because i just feel like it blends better. When i i don't know, i can't explain it, but i just like to apply it on top. If you want, you can apply it underneath, but that is totally up to you and then i'm taking my fly away. Tamer because of course, i'm going to use my hot comb to press it out, and i take my comb and i line it up with the center of my nose so that i can get a nice part and this this works for me. I don't know why. I wasn't doing this before, but yes and of course, i'm applying some fly away. Tamer now that i have my part so that i can press it out with my hot comb and lay it down because right now, it's just sticking up and it's looking really bulky on top of my head. So we're going to flat iron it not flat but um hot combing and, as you can see, i have my hot comb now and you can tell the difference between the side that i'm doing right now on the side that i haven't touched yet. So i'm just going to continue doing that so that it's nice and flat. So i have not cut my lace yet, but i am going to start cutting my layers. So i cut going downwards and i hold my scissors at an angle and it gives me a nice look without it looking choppy. So that's why i hold the scissors like that and cut it in a downward motion, and i cut the front so that it can frame my face and the hair will fall on my face. Naturally, because i have an oval head. So it's really important that i cut like that, so that the hair complements my face shape and then i'm also going to cut a couple layers within the wig as well using the same motion cutting downward. So i'm just going to continue cutting whatever i feel is necessary and just chopping away, be careful and just take your time when you're cutting it, because you don't want to cut too much off so just start in small sections and just start cutting because, like i Said once you cut this hair, it's not going to grow back so just take your time and i'm starting on the other side, doing the same thing: cutting downward and i'm starting in the front so like i said i can get it to fall naturally, and it's Just going to flow so much better, i'm telling you guys cutting layers. It really does make a difference if you're, not a professional. This is a good way to go about doing it, because i'm not a professional. I don't 100 know what i'm doing myself, but whenever i cut layers, this is how i do it, so you know give it a try but, like i said, just take your time and do it in sections. Of course, this hair did come straight, but if you have like a wig and you want to curl it, then you can also use this method to curl and your curls will bounce and they would just look so good with the layers. They look so much better. They'Ll flow, a lot better, like i said, they'll just be bouncy and they'll have more volume in it. I wouldn't say that this was a long process, but it wasn't short either. It was like right in between, but i'm also a perfectionist. So i made sure that i took my time so that i got it right the first time and i wouldn't have to come back and fix it in the end, and i also made sure that i maintained the length of this wig. Even though i did cut a lot of hair off in the front, i made sure that i didn't cut all of it off, because i didn't want this. To be short, i wanted to keep the length that it already was, which is 26 inches, so i'm using my bed head spray. I did tighten the straps in the back, so i don't have to do this because it's already pretty tight and snug, but i did it anyways and now i am going to just run a couple of passes through the hair. Just a couple um, i will say that this look was inspired by aaliyah jay, because i know she did a video similar. I actually didn't watch her video, so i'm not sure what method that she used, but i know like this is normally how i like to cut my layers. If i do do them now, i've never really bumped the ends, but i like how hers just fell on her face and how it was like curled and it was like a small bump. It wasn't like super bumped, so that's what i'm doing. I'M kind of mimicking that same look, but i'm just doing it my way for anyone who is wondering about the details. This is a 4x4 lace closure. Wigs i've been wearing these a lot just because they're just super easy to style and put on and take off whenever i like. So if you're a beginner lace closures are really good to start with, because it's less maintenance than a lace frontal. It is 26 inches. Of course, there's always all these details will be listed down below so make sure you hit that drop down arrow and check it out, like this video give me a thumbs up comment down below. Let me know what you thought and sub to my channel if you're not already - and i will catch you guys in the next upload, you
