Can I Install A Lace Wig Over My Box Braids?

Hey crew. Welcome to our welcome back to my channel. It'S your girl, keith! Now for today's video i'm going to be trying to put on a wig over my braids now i know y'all, probably like key. What listen y'all should be so proud of me. I'Ve kept this hairstyle in for about three weeks now, if you know me, like everybody that know me for real for real y'all know, i do not keep a hair styling like at all like at all, like literally my hairstyle change like like every single day. Okay, so these braids that i have in my head - i've been really loving them. You feel me they are a little bit old a little bit old. They are a little old. I do have a lot of new growth, but i just don't feel like taking these braids out and that's honestly, the real reason why they still in because y'all see these things, these things tiny. These things is tiny. Who about to take these braids out your mouth ain't here to help me so i'm like stuck, but i mean i gon na hold you when i do take these things out, i'm definitely going upstairs and having a legs. To tell me: that's just that's just that's that on that: okay, so alexa, if you, if you're watching this video, you already know you take you helping me, take this damn braids up, but anyways y'all. I am going to be trying to fit one of my wigs onto my head because if i could fit a wig on my head, i'm going to wear a wig on my birthday. Okay, so my birthday is january 29th and i want to be a battery, not saying you can't be about it with box braids, but i just want to wear weave okay, and that's just that on that. So y'all today is a january 21st. Okay, actually alive. Oh girl today is january 23rd. Girl, i cannot read so today is saturday. My birthday is on this following friday. That mean my damn number thing i knew some was wrong hold on y'all. Let me change this. Let me change this. Let me change it to the right number. There we go today's: the 23rd okay girl. Okay, we good. We go, we gucci, okay, so i have this wig right here. It looks a little crazy look, a little dusty because it's just been in my wig drawer, but you know all i got ta do is just brush it out just a little bit and moisturizer. You feel me it'll be gucci now um. I have other wigs too, but i think nine times out of ten, if i am gon na wear a wig on my birthday it'll. Be this one, because this just this is my baby. This is this. Is my favorite wig? Okay, so i have the wig right here. I made this wig myself, y'all i'll, be finessing and doing wigs. It is a lace, closure um. I prefer lace closures over frontal lace. Closures are just they easy to maintain, and i don't know they just look a little. They look better to me, you know the maintenance on the front, so it's just too much work for me. Um and i do have two wig caps. I'M not really gon na try and glue it down, because i don't know if i can really get this thing on my head. But today's video i'm just gon na, be trying to see if i can get it over these box braids. So what we need to do is take this ponytail out. Okay, because we need to get this freaking. We need to get these braids as flat as possible. Okay y'all that felt good. We need to get these things as flat as possible now. I actually think this might help me. So, let's see, let's see if we can like tie this down cause y'all. Let me tell y'all, i watch videos right of people getting wigs over like faux, locs and stuff like that. That belongs so i'm like if they could do that. Why can't i, let me see okay y'all, so i got myself a little pony. This is what it looked like. I hope y'all could see. Oh wait! Let me turn this way. Here'S my minor over here! Okay, so it's in a little pony like that, then we're gon na take a stocking cap. Oh this stocking cap, look a little crazy, but we're just gon na take this. Let'S stretch it out stretch it out a little bit we're just gon na toss. This thing um, dang y'all, my stocking cap got holes in it. Oh shit's, nice, okay, we don't do this like this and then y'all. We just gon na take our hair and stuff it in this cap. Why am i teaching y'all like a territory or something when i'm trying to do the damn thing myself all right, y'all? Let me just try and finesse this instead of trying to teach y'all but low-key, i'm trying to teach y'all cause like you know. If it worked, this might be above you for me y'all. I think the stock cap, just too small cause it could work. Possibly are we getting somewhere hold on? Maybe okay tuck, that in i got the first cap on it's kind of flat, but i don't know this is what it look like right now. I look like y'all ever watch the proud family, the little peanuts, the proud family movie them little peanuts, yeah! That'S what i look like right now, so we just gon na put another stocking cap on right, so we can try and make this thing extra flat. I might need three with this big ass head of mine. Okay, let's get all the braids in here all the braids, okay y'all. So this is my head like this on my head, lola right now i mean the top is pretty flat. You know i ain't even gon na hold you. The top is pretty flat, so i'm gon na just brush on my wig one more time and we just gon na try and plop this thing on that ain't working, y'all yo. This is a fail. Yeah, i'm not getting this wig over this damn thingy. Let me try one of my other wigs hold on. Let'S see, let's see if this works, let's take the straps off y'all. I ain't never wore this wig. This is synthetic wig, though the other one was a human hair. One girl, let me find out, i got ta, take these damn braids out, so i could be a baddie on my birthday, this one kind of going yo. Oh snap, oh no, we might be in business. No. I lied the back. Look a little crazy, dang y'all. I tried i tried y'all. This is like this would be cute, though, if you're like it fit, this wig kind of cute hold on i've, been sleeping yeah. This yo, i think, if my head wasn't so big, you feel me it will work. But since i got a big old head and my hair so thick it just it ain't working because y'all this nah son can't be no batty. Looking like this, so i guess it is just time for my parades to just come out like i. This makes me miss my weave y'all in my next video y'all, probably gon na see keith with a sew-in. I mean not so um, but y'all gon na probably see me in my weaves this wig, though i've been sleeping yo. This is hella cute well hold on me, fix it right there, man y'all, can't tell me this wig, not cute, though in a synthetic okay. This is not a week review. We tried, we tried in mission effect. I failed. I could not do it if y'all got any tips on how to do it. Let a girl know, but i don't think i'm gon na get no wig over this big old bump. How y'all people be doing them little miracles. Fill me in. I need some tips like how do y'all make it that, like i feel like this, is flat. It'S just this. I heard the wig ain't going over that um. Not today. Oh it's getting tight, i'm losing circulation, whoa y'all as y'all can see. I tried so this might be the last time y'all see key with some braids until i put my braids in because i definitely plan on doing braids again because y'all i can't be wearing weaves and wigs forever. Plus braids is a good protective style but y'all. My braids, then they don't grow out y'all, see all that new growth. Can you walk around like that? Can you walk around like that and y'all it's my 25th birthday, so i want to pop out and be a baddie with my inches okay, but i hope that you guys enjoyed this video. Then let your girl know so the next next time when i do have my box braids in maybe i can try again um because i am gon na be doing smaller box braids after maybe like a month of like you know, just letting my hair breathe with My wigs and stuff, like that, i plan on putting my box braids back in and i'm gon na do a little bit of color. I might even do burgundy or blonde. I don't know just yet when that time come it'll come but yeah.
