Foreign welcome back y'all, so i'm like super excited about this hairstyle today, so my client gave me an assignment to do her, a throwback hairstyle for um, her friends, giving the theme was freaknig, so i just gave i thought everybody already did like the pink girls and The flip, so i was like well, i haven't seen anybody do like the swoop knots and spikes the side ponytail with the crimps and in texas, like we used to add a little curl at the end of ours, just to give it a little pizzazz little spice. Look rather than so, that's what i'm doing today on her hair, i will be using a frontal to create this look so that she doesn't really have to do anything or have to worry about her hair. So the only thing that'll be out. That'S naturally, hers is the back of her head and right now, i'm just combing everything up into a ponytail and we're going to sleek it down. So it can be nice and perfect for when i put the frontal on and do all the other steps. My do. Foreign okay, now that we got her ponytail situated we're gon na go ahead and add the frontal. I did not use a ball cap because i just feel like there's no point of using the ball cap right now, because we're not doing any like parting or it's not really no need for like any kind of scalp like illusion. So i'm not using a ball cap. The lace is already kind of like brown like so it really matches her skin. So i really didn't have to do too much extra to it. Um, i said we wasn't using the part, but we are going to do one part because i got to separate her swoop. So what i'm going to do now is do a light stitch across the back of the frontal across her head so that it will stay down and not buckle up when i get to doing the molding and swooping up into her ponytail. So after that, i'm going to go ahead and cut around her ears and go ahead and tack this baby down. Okay, so on the other side, i did cut off um a fair amount of the frontal, because where i would be doing the swoop at i don't want it to interfere, so i didn't really need the full frontal to go across her head. Um. Do not worry. This is just like some older raggedy frontal that i had again. This is the client that allows me to practice um with the frontals, because she really wants me to get this stuff. So this is not an expensive frontal that we went and purchased or whatever it was just like a little old little ragged muffin, a frontal that was in my drawer that we used to achieve this style. Because again i mean we're not doing anything like too crazy. I just needed to be able to get the swoop and her ponytail look and she did not want to wear out her real hair, so we used the frontal so again, like i said i did cut off half of it so um if y'all are going to Do this, you can just use the beauty supply frontal, because again i cut it up or you can go, find you a was a 7 by seven six by six and you should be able to still achieve this look so foreign okay. Now that i got her parted like when i said i wasn't gon na use my part, i clearly got a part. I'M gon na use some um styling gel to go ahead and mold her hair up into a ponytail and to do this swoop now look out. Take notes on this swoop because i was the queen of swoops and the queen of cribs. This is what i did. This is how people knew me. I started in high school with this, so um. One thing i can't stand is a half ass swoop. You know them them swoops, where it be like full in the front, so they turn to the side, and then it's just like this one little strip that go up to the ponytail. It'S like a half of a swoop. I can't end it so please take notes. So i can show y'all how to do this swoop. So, oh me um my so so me ah say that i watch out now it's the little one and i'm not bow wow. Look at this that one gets perfect. Tell me it ain't you're lying. If you do so now, i'm just gon na put braid her ponytail up into a ball set her under the dryer and we're going to come back and proceed to styling, okay, so she's dry, i'm going to use this purple pack hair. I think it's length. 18. 16, i can't see it, but i only use one pack of hair. I thought i was going to need two because you know the longer the lens, the less they put in the pack so, but i only needed one to achieve this. Look. So what i'm going to do now is i started at the top of her ponytail and i'm using glue to secure her ponytail and i will not be using bobby pins like we did back in the day because baby that hurts and everybody got time for that. So i'm gluing her ponytail in and i'm going to continue to glue until i get to the very end of it. So the ponytail is up now we're going to go to my favorite part, we're going to crimp her hair and then we're going to proceed to go to the knots and spikes. So foreign do my okay, we're done sorry y'all. I forgot to show y'all what hair i use, but this is some like some crochet hair that was kind of wavy. Normally, we used to use the braid hair that had the curl on the end, but i think this should work and i'm i'm good with molding and creating. So i just grabbed anything that had like a body wave, a curl anything at the end of the hair. So when i did um twist it all up and do the little the little spiky part little hair, that flares out it'll be easier for me to like mold and shape and curl how i used to wear it. So what i did was just took a little piece put a bobby pin through it and stuck it to her ponytail and then i'm just going to twist. It all the way up until it starts winding and knotting, and then i'm going to start styling from there. One um, okay, so now i'm done molding the knots and spikes, and this is what it looks like. Oh this just sent me all the way back, y'all y'all just don't know how excited i was to do this. So now i'm going to go ahead and put the finishing touch on it and we're going to put this curl at the end of this hair and then we're going to be done so um. While i'm doing that y'all. Let me know what y'all think in the comment section please, like this tag, your friend that will probably rock this to this day, because after it was done, i was like i feel like we can low-key still pull this off today.
