Blonde Hair Care Routine | How I Keep My Blonde Hair Healthy!

Hi my loves it's sam, so i have had a lot of requests or just questions about my hair lately what i use, what's my blonde hair care routine, what i use to keep my hair blonde or my blonde hair, healthy and shiny, and so i figured today I would just do a blonde hair care routine and tell you exactly like just walk through what i do with my hair. So the very first thing that i do is i use this. I'Ve literally had these for so long. You guys they last forever. I got them at sam's club, they were super affordable and this is the nexus therapy. Ultra. I'M sorry ultimate moisture protein fusion, and this is a shampoo. It comes in a pump top. It smells amazing, like i love the smell of these. You guys yeah. This one smells banana like banana, it's so yummy, it's just the best. I absolutely love it. That'S so banana is one of those things where, if it's like a mangled banana, it's terrible, but this smells like a really nice kind of vanilla banana. It'S just delicious. The reason i love these so much is that we moved to a very dry climate, and so our my hair was used to like north carolina. It was so humid there and then we moved back to tahoe. I was like oh my gosh. My hair was super staticky, it was really dry. I could tell it was just really struggling with a dry climate, and so i was like i need to get something that has a lot of moisture and that has been amazing and ever since i started using this duo, i've not even had to use hair masks. My hair has been so shiny, it's so healthy, it's just like so unbelievably silky, and so it just feels so good. You could just get them at stamps club or you can order on samsung.com. It'S super easy. This one is the nexus humectress ultimate moisture conditioner. It'S they're like a combo, and this one this one doesn't smell like banana. This one smells like. I don't know if this one is fruity like mango-ish or i'm not sure. If this smell it smells amazing, it's just not banana, but it's kind of like a sweet kind like a vanilla, fruity one or something um, and this gets okay. So the the shampoo lathers really well, it's really creamy feeling and then, when you put the conditioner in it literally takes out your your tangles like immediately, it leaves your hair super silky. My hair has never felt more healthy, it's never been shinier. So i absolutely love that duo. I think it's amazing and then once a week i will use the unite. Blonda shampoo. This is the toning one. It has to be in the purple bottle. It is like bright purple. It'S i don't actually just ran out. Oh, i just got it on my finger on it um. It is like a bright purple color and basically i leave that in my hair for like one to two minutes, you don't want to leave it on too long or it will be way too ashy um. I think it says, like 30 to 60 seconds on here. Yeah do not exceed 60 seconds. I sometimes i do rebel um and i just use that and then i'll follow up with the regular nexus conditioner and that's just a once a week or if i feel like. Oh i'm getting really brassy i'll. Do it like more often or i'll. Do it less? I just look at my hair and if i feel like okay yeah, i'm getting quite yellow, then i will do it. So i feel like that's the thing with blonde hair. Is that naturally it just gets yellower like the longer you go throughout your appointment. It just it just picks up on the brass, so that's a really great option to kind of cut down on the brass and keep it nice and cool toned and like a really pretty color. So i absolutely love that and that one smells like grape and then this is something that i use every single time i get out of the shower. This is the unite seven seconds: detangler leave-in conditioner. So, every time i wash my hair, i will towel dry it in like one of those little turpy towels. What are they called? I'M trying to see if i have one in here, i don't um but they're. You know the little towels that, like their microfiber, they really suck up a lot of water. So i think those are really good versus like a regular towel, because it really does kind of absorb as much as much moisture as possible, and then i spray my hair with this before i brush it and i spray it all mainly on my ends and then Just a little bit on the top, i don't want to get too much on the top, because i have naturally oily roots anyway, but this is amazing. It smells really good. It'S very fresh, it's the most amazing leave-in. I'Ve literally used it for so long and it doesn't weigh your hair down. It doesn't leave your hair feeling greasy or like a weird texture like it's very lightweight, but it really does condition really really well. So i highly recommend that one and then i always use a wet brush. Sorry, my hair is in it right now because i just used it um, it's so sad when you pull hair out of a brush, isn't it it's like that could be on my head right now, but instead it's in my trash, that's depressing um, but i love The wet brush because it's meant for brushing wet hair, so it's not going to harm your hair. If you use a regular brush on wet hair, you can get a lot of breakage. It'S just not good, whereas this one is designed to brush wet hair. So it's really great for tangles. I use it on dry hair as well like it's literally just the best brush and they're super affordable and they just cut through the tangles super easily and they're just lovely. So i highly recommend the wet brush and then sometimes i will use this. It really just depends on my mood or like if my hair is feeling a little bit dry, then i'll do this. This is the gesu honey, infused hair oil. You literally don't need. Hardly anything like one little drop and then i'll just put it in my hands and kind of just work it through the ends. I never put it on the top of my hair. Sometimes i use it on my hair when it's wet. If i know i'm not gon na be styling my hair, if, like i'm just kind of trying to scrunch it up and like leave it wavy and i'm never gon na curl it with a curling iron. I'Ll just do this when it's wet or damp and then sometimes when it's dry like if i just feel like. Oh, my hair is looking a little fluffy or like the second day. If i feel like oh it's a little bit wild. Looking then i'll just get a tiny little drop and i'll just get it on the ends and just kind of smooth it out. It smells amazing. It smells like. I don't know what it smells like, but it smells really yummy and it's just a little dropper, but literally one drop is all you need like you it this will last forever and it's a super cute little container. So i absolutely love that and then, when i'm looking to have really big, i want my hair to be super textured and big, and it makes it look like my hair is massive so like. If i'm, you know, if i was going to, if i was going to like a nice dinner, i don't do anything because i copied, like literally, i don't do anything. But if i was like trying trying to go to an event or if i was trying to go to a nice dinner or if i was going to you know, meet with friends or what. If i just want to look extra good like real glam, then i will use this. This is the unite liquid volume, instant texture hold and it's a liquid powder spray and basically, what you do. Is you spray it at your roots and then you spray it at your ends and it just expands the cuticle and makes it so big so that you have tons of body tons of texture, tons of volume and your hair just looks like twice the size that It is so i don't have it on today and that's why my hair looks like super silky and shiny and kind of like flatter, but it does take a little bit of your shine away, which is why sometimes i don't like to use it if it's like, If i know i'm just gon na be like today, i have to go to the grocery store. I have to run to the store or to the post office. It'S just like a super chill day. Then i won't put any in because you can feel the texture in it. It does take away your shine, so it doesn't make your hair look as healthy, but it doesn't ruin your hair. It just you know it's it's a texturizing spray, so it doesn't leave the shine in there. But if i do want my hair to look really glam and big, then i'll use this and it's absolutely amazing and it also smells really good. I'M all about the good smells. This is the um dry shampoo that i have currently. This is the caristas refreshing, dry, shampoo, vitamin e and rice starch. The packaging is really cute because it's light pink um and it's just a really nice dry shampoo. It does leave a bit of a white cast, so if you have brown hair, i probably wouldn't go with it. Another really great one from the drugstore is the heritage, one from mindy mcknight and apparently she's, making a brunette version as well, so that one's also really good. If you don't want to spend a ton of money, but i do like the caristas one, it really is nice, especially when i have like my really blonde hair. It does a really good job of kind of like just you know, when your hair is a bit dirty when you're naturally blonde, and it looks a bit greasy and kind of darker, this kind of lightens it up a little bit and just you know it takes Away the oil gives you a little bit of body, and it's just it's not too much, so i absolutely love that one. So that is like the products that i use as far as my curling iron. This is the one i use the most. This is the connier infinity pro. I have a ton of different curling irons, most of the time. I end up using this, though, because i like the size of the waves that it gives me it's just like really like just loose and big um. This is super affordable. You can get it at walmart target like it's. I think it's like 30 bucks, so i love that one and then i always recommend like trying to go as long as you can without washing your hair. I know that that sounds gross, but you need your natural oils to help your hair like be healthy. So i don't wash my hair every single day. If my hair is dirty that day, then i'll put a hat on, because i feel like those natural oils really do help and there's just no point, especially if you live in a dry climate, it's different when you live in, like i washed my hair a lot More in north carolina than i do here, because it was so oily and so humid there that my hair, like i needed to wash it more often. But when you live in a dry climate, it's really not good to wash your hair that much because it's so dry anyway, you're not getting moisture from the air that, if you're constantly washing your hair, it's just gon na make your hair super dry inside. And you don't want that. I try to go like every two days without washing my hair, so, like i washed it yesterday, so i didn't wash it today, i'll, probably not wash it tomorrow and then i'll wash it the following day. So i just try not to wash my hair that often i also do not blow dry my hair, and i feel i got something in my throat and i feel like ever since i stopped blow drying my hair. I'Ve seen a huge difference in the way that my hair is like. I feel like it's so much healthier. I have way less flyaways. My hair just looks a lot better and i feel like blow drying was really. I didn't ever. Do it that much, but even when i did it every now and then i was like dude, my hair does not look that good like i would have all these flyaways and breakage and it just wasn't very nice. So i never blow dry. My hair, like never ever wash your hair at night, let it dry naturally and then curl it or flat on it or do whatever in the morning, because i just feel like letting your hair dry. Naturally, my hair is so much healthier now than when i used to blow dry it. So i feel like the blow. Dryer is not your friend um and i think that's about it. I don't put my hair up in ponytails. Very often, if i do have my hair up, it's usually just in like a little clip um, i don't. I just try not to do things that will like break my hair off too much i'll, wear a ponytail occasionally if i'm cleaning and i'll just i'll where's. My scrunchie, i love these ones. I get them from tj, maxx, they're, really really soft material, so they never snag or like break your hair, um and i'll just do it in like a loose ponytail and then i'll pull it out as soon as i'm done. So i really don't. I don't wear my hair up very often, and i do feel like that kind of helps with the breakage hi hi. What you doing are you on break? It'S a lunch already, oh, no! It'S only 10.. Do you want to show your hair? We french braided lily's hair, look at her. Oh my gosh. She we french braided it and then we let it let her sleep on it and now she's a goddess mermaid. How you doing! Okay! Are you okay, yep? What'S going on? I just have so much work to do. Do you are you stressed out, okay, you're, just gon na finish your work, yep, i'm almost done and then i'll be ready for lunch. Okay, okay, bye-bye bye-bye catch you later mermaid, oh my gosh, your hair is so wavy. I love it after most of the time it's just down or it's in a little clippy. I got this one from walmart and i do feel like that makes a huge difference. So that's my hair care routine. That'S how i take care of my blonde hair. Also. I usually go 10 weeks um between hair appointments, so i try to stretch it out as long as possible and um. I feel like that also makes a huge difference, is finding a hair stylist, who really is worried about the integrity of your hair and isn't just like bleaching, the heck out of it and pulling it through the ends, and then your hair just breaks off. So the girl that i go to is carissa at structure hair studio in reno she's, very, very good about the integrity of my hair and being very careful and making sure that she doesn't break it off. So i really appreciate that. I think that makes such a huge difference um so yeah. I highly recommend finding someone who is all about the integrity. Even if it takes you like numerous times to get the color. You want it's better to have hair on your head than to have this perfect color right off the bat. So if it takes a few times like, i technically want to be blonder but she's more concerned about, like the health of my hair than getting me right. There right there, but right right there right what you guys know what i'm trying to say like super quick. So i much prefer that when they are they care about what your hair is actually like doing versus just looking, because your hair can be platinum right off the bat, but if it's spaghetti hair, that's not good, so that's also really important.
