Elite Hair Care USA

PO Box 14

Apopka FL 32704

Hey guys crystal here from elite haircare, usa. So today we are doing a silk press and trim on my client here, who is 100 natural and has a very long length of hair. So to start off, of course, we always want to saturate the hair with water. Rinse out any additional product, and then we start with our elite clarify. So i know you guys have been waiting really really long for the elite clarified to come out. It releases this week, which i am super excited. This is a clarifying shampoo, infused with activated charcoal and peppermint essential oils, and the great thing about it is: it does not strip the hair entirely of all its natural oils, but it also helps to detox the scalp and the hair and cleanse the hair before you Start your treatment, shampoo and conditioner so look out for the elite clarify it will be available on our website at elitehaircareusa.com this coming week. So now i'm just going through and rinsing out all of the shampoo. If you guys notice, i'm not being really rough with her hair, i'm more say lifting it, but trying to keep the hair in the same direction as i shampoo. Why? Because you do not want to manipulate long hair too much, it will tangle really really quickly. If you do so during the shampoo process, so for our treatment shampoo, we are actually using our hair repair and growth shampoo. This shampoo allows for me to be able to, of course, easily detangle her hair, but the main benefit of the hair, repair and growth. Shampoo is to do what help or assist in repairing or growing. Let me not really, i don't like to use that term to lose sleep but i'll more focus on the hair, repair, um and then, of course, i'm actually using some of our goddess hair repair serum on her hairline here as a starting treatment outside of the conditioner. Now a lot of people like okay, why did you only put it on the hairline? Well, i did notice that her hairline is just a little on the sparse side, not in a bad bad way, but i wanted to start the process of treating that area and then i'm also going to cocktail our hair repair. Um serum excuse me. I got tongue tied like just that quick, our hair repair serum with the conditioner as well. Now. This is also something you guys can do at home. If you are going to do it at home, i definitely say to leave it on for a longer period of time. You can also put the serum on right before your wash day and allow it to be absorbed for at least 15 to 20 minutes before you actually begin your shampoo service. So i'm rinsing out the shampoo thoroughly. I do not recommend leaving any form of shampoo in the hair, very, very important, the more shampoo you leave in the hair, the dryer the hair will be - and i see people do this all the time by not renting out their hair 100 before they move on To the conditioner process, now for the conditioner, i did a cocktail with our moist meat, deep conditioning mask and the hair repair and growth conditioner, along with our hair repair serum now. Yes, i used three products: the hair repair, serum, the moist me deep conditioning mask and the hair repair and growth conditioner. I pre-mixed them in my hands before i applied it to her hair. If you guys notice, i did not use a ton of product. Why? Because a ton of product is not needed for us to be able to condition her hair, i'm going to say that again in layman's terms, a little goes a long way. Now, i'm just going through and detangling her hair, i'm using one of the detangling combs from our new detangle me kit. This set of combs and brushes allows for easy detangling. It gives you different shapes and lengths and widths of the teeth, so you can use. Of course, whichever one is tailored towards your hair now, this particular set actually does not release until black friday, but we did release it as a part of our high definition kit. So this particular kit, which is the detangle me kit that is actually available. As i said with the high definition kit, the high definition kit is a curl defining kit by the way. So what i'm doing is just going through and detangling now, when you, when you're detangling anything between the crown or at the crown right above the occipital bone. That is typically where you get the most tangling and then, of course, whenever i'm working with longer lengths of hair, i always start from the end and work my way up, but i wanted to try one of our paddle detangling brushes to see if it would make Detangling slightly easier for my liking, i was like eh, not really i'm going to go back to the comb that i was using before and i can detangle here really really quickly because i've been doing this so long. But what i did notice is the comb was a lot better for me with longer hair and then the brush works a lot better for me with shorter hair. But i wanted to try both just for you guys to see, and of course it is a learning process. You guys so don't always think. Oh man, this brush, didn't work for me. No, no, no, no different, brushes different combs are going to be used for different textures and different lengths. So now i'm going to go ahead and rinse her out using cool water, okay, cool water, no warm water and the reason why i'm definitely stressing cool water, especially for longer lengths of hair, is because rinsing with cool water does limit the amount of tangling. That will happen with the hair. It also closes the cuticle and locks in that shine in the hair. Okay, so for her hair, it wasn't necessarily dehydrated or dry honestly. She just needed a really good conditioning treatment and then just a good detangle and we were ready to go so now. Her hair is all blown out and i applied a little bit of our frizz tamer and shine serum to her hair, which serves as our heat protectant and a glossifier or shine enhancer, and then we are gon na go through and do our silk pressing. Can you guys tell she has a ton of hair? Yes, she does and it is absolutely gorgeous all right. So for the press, i don't really have to i'm not even going to really explain the press. I think i think you guys have seen enough so presses from me. The only thing that i will say is: i use the babyliss prima 3100 um. The reason why i chose to use this iron rather than using my h2 pro is because this iron is larger. In the length of the plates - and it also um, i feel like it - would do a lot better with her texture of hair. It'S kind of hard to explain like i know what iron to use for what client, but i tell people this even at home. Every iron is not going to be best for your hair, so just because i use one iron that doesn't mean that you need to use that iron, because it's best for your hair. You really should have multiple irons, but it's kind of un um unreasonable for me to say that to people who do their hair at home, rather with me, i'm doing multiple textures of hair in the salon. So i have to have more than one iron, but for at home use. I definitely can stress ceramic over titanium. Why? Because you're going to do a lot more pressing than i would - and i just i feel, like certain things - should be left to the professionals. I'Ll just stay like that. We'Re just gon na leave that there okay um. But yes, i'm using the babyliss prima 3100 or maybe 3300 i've had design a long time. I can't remember the number, but it's either 31 or 3300. The plate size is, i think, 1.25 or one and one-fourths of an inch or something near that, and i can tell you guys. The heat on this iron is at 465, and that is another reason why i'm doing large sections on her hair, because at 465 doing small sections, it's just gon na create an environment for just not the good stuff. So i am using it at the level of 465, which is 465 degrees, and then i'm also doing it in one inch or larger sections. So that is kind of how you determine how and what you're going to be using. Because you really have to understand the iron that you're using, i would not use this iron if her hair was really sparse. I would not use this iron if her hair was really fine. I used it because she has a medium texture. It'S extremely long and i wanted to be able to do larger sections and make her press not take me seven hours. Okay, so, as you guys can tell her, hair was nice and silky. It came out really really pretty and now we're going to do the trim. So she's stressed most definitely she's like listen. I only want to clean up the dead ends, which is exactly what i did. I didn't give her like a full on shebang. Haircut, i'm sorry, you guys couldn't see me actually cutting it, because her hair was so long on camera. But you guys get the point. You guys get the point um. But yes, we did give her a trim - and i always stress this when it comes onto haircuts. The hair is in the shape of an orange, it is not a square, so you want to cut the hair as if you were slicing an orange or taking slices from an orange. That is how you get a uniform cut. Okay, so we're not doing an actual style cut you guys we are just cleaning up her ends, so i always tell people this at the end, all i'm doing is cleaning up or a light dusting of her ends, i'm not giving her a style cut, i'm not Giving her layers i'm not doing any of that all i am doing, is cleaning up the split ends, and then we are going to style based on how her hair is right now, so there is a difference between a trim and a cut. A trim is literally just cleaning up the ends, leaving the hair exactly the way it is a cut is anything that requires me to change your length or shape of your hair. That is a cut okay, all right good. So now i'm just going through and just evening out the baseline, which is right down at the bottom. And if you guys can she was like nervous with me doing that i could feel her eyeballs trying to look in a mirror. But, as i always say like i, i can be scissor happy, but i know when not to be sister happy so at this point we basically just bumped her ends. Um. She didn't really want anything other than that she just wanted a little bend on the end. What i can tell you guys is because she is not used to being pressed her hair is not used to being pressed at this point. It was already ready to revert, and that is kind of the sad part about silk pressing. Not everyone is going to have longevity with their press, so that's just something i tell people but what we decided to do um, instead of just leaving it down and letting her go home, we put it in what we call a bun and the bun. Allow will allow for her to still have that length at the base and then it will also kind of keep the hair slightly compressed a little bit better. But then, when she goes home she can wrap it and put a stocking cap over her hair and that will also give her more compression and that hair will not have space to um swell because it's compressed with the stocking cap. So that's just a little pro tip for you guys for those of you who get silk presses a stocking cap actually would be your best friend. It keeps the hair, nice and compressed and it stops the swelling and it will allow you to keep your silk press longer and your hair will stay straighter longer. LadyDemigod: Client comes in with long hair beauticians can't wait to reach for the scissors. I grew mine long by staying out of the shop.

Demi: Your client has done an awesome job taking care of her hair. It looks healthy & her ends only needed a little snip.

Tytrena Mcdonald: Wow sounds like you care a lot to please your clients and to give them what they want. Also you provide them with great tips. Hun this is how you keep clients. However I haven't been to the salon every since I was 8 years old. My twin & I had very long hair and the styles burnt out our hair with a super precise perm instead of putting a just for me kit in our hair. Our hair was in the center of our back. After she destroyed our hair it never grew. My twin hair never grows pass her ear. Mines grow a little to my shoulders. That lady quicked her job the same day after damaging our hair. We are 39 yrs old today and my twin has low self-esteem. I mean it's very bad. Until this day we had never gone back to a salon again since that incident. Overall, Ms. I am proud of you for listening to your clients. You trimed her hair just like she asked. In my town they cut all of your hair off. This is why people started learning how to do their own hair or will go to a homegirl for a hair style. Keep up the good work and continue to listen to your clients. God will bring you more clients sooner than later. Be blessed my sister!

Eagle Eye Gordon: I struggle TREMENDOUSLY with tangling. You defintely did a trim' and not a cut. I can't tell you how many of these videos I watch where it was declared a trim and walked away with 4 inches cut off that didn't need more than close to 2 inches. It cringes me to see people who worked so hard as black people we can have a harder time growing it because of manipulation and the stylist just does what they want for the sake of their video. My 3chair also wants to revert in two seconds. I like the summer but my hair hates it like Crips n Bloods. I literally can't do anything but braids for 3 1/2 months.

Martha Savage: Should we all be so lucky to have such long natural beautiful hair. Absolutely gorgeous!

Mekastayfab Steele: I love a stylist who can do really long Natural hair a lot of stylist are scissors happy and can only permed hair!

Chekeka Price: Crystal I have laughed at this client here, she’s watching your every move with those scissors ✂️, her eyeballs are following you everywhere

Leipzig Escobar: I really appreciate the stylist pointing out how different hair textures will react to silk pressing...I need to treat my daughters to the products made by stylist.

Debie House: Holy cow she’s got amazing hair!

Bonnie Moore: I JUST LOVED, LOVED, LOOOOOVED THE WAY SHE WAS STARING DOWN CRYSTAL IN THAT MIRROR!! LOL SHE WAS GOING TO MAKE SURE SHE WAS GOING TO COME OUT OF THAT SALON WITH ALL OF HER HAIR!!

Carmelita: Great video! Thanks for the hair care tips! Her hair came out beautifully and the length is absolutely gorgeous! I can totally relate to her hair wanting to revert back quickly! I have natural hair and I tried to press my hair and it was horrific, not only was I sweating while doing it, by the time I finish I had a big fro. It was just an utter disaster! LOL

Wendy Ouedraogo: I love her hair especially the length, I also love the way u explained cut and trim

Deborah Shoates: I think you did a wonderful job on her hair but she was relieved when you were done ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Nickynatro *: AmazingHer hair is so lovely. Natural hair is everything. Drop mike and walk away

Shelia Calloway: Absolutely Gorgeous hair! Love it

patricia sykes: Love the length and you did an awesome job as usual .

Here for It: My hair is *not* “heat trained”. I press it every 12 to 24 months, sometimes even less frequently. Reversion is not a problem. Why? 1. Using a proper amount of an effective heat protectant. In my case, Tresemme. 2. Flat ironing my hair in *very* small sections. This will allow you to use minimal heat with maximum results. Your hair will be silkier and straighter. I, personally also like to use a thermal pressing comb on my roots, kitchen. and edges for a more finished, polished look. My hair was heat *damaged* by stylists at one time when I was going to the salon every 6 to 12 weeks for a press. Back then, my hair reverted quickly. It stayed ‘cute’ for about 3 days and stayed straight 2 weeks. Maybe. I use heat far less frequently yet my silk presses can last a month with no touch-ups. Hmmm.

Wanda Gillis: Great stylists who does exactly what the client wants!

Angelique Bezuidenhout: She has healthy, beautiful hair.

Renette Gordley: I thought you use a straighting comb for a press or silk press. The flat iron doesn't keep my hair straight for very long but a hot comb has my hair silky straight for 2 weeks or 3 but I gett it done every 2 weeks.

OneFootNFront: I’ve never seen anyone trim the baseline last! I love this!

Patricia Brooks: Great job; beautiful hair.

Michelle James: Her hair looks gorgeous!

Mia Porche: Amazing, informative video!!! Beautiful hair!❤

Tiffany Bowie: I have a lot of thick, long hair…but dang girl your hair is so beautiful. I want hair like you when I grow up….seriously Great job on doing her hair

Tina So Blessed: She has absolutely gorgeous hair, she was looking sideways making sure her hair wasn't being cut, I'm the same way, I can't tell you the last time I went to the beauty parlor! I would love to have a hot comb hairdo!❤

Kimberly Bennett: Amazingly beautiful

Angela G M: Great hair and great stylist.

margaret nardone: She has such beautiful hair.

Leo Dawn: Amazing long beautiful hair! Did you trim it ?maybe I missed it

MySkinnydip: I just got done finishing my hair. Untangling wasn’t too bad this time but putting it into a ponytail was a struggle. It’s so long I couldn’t get it all the way thru! I should of just used the RevAir but I was lazy today. Didn’t know about rinsing with cool water. Will try that next time. I do have the Babybliss too. I find this iron glides easy thru my hair and it doesn’t snag! My hair line is getting sparse too. My hair is so heavy I feel it pulling my head back doesn’t matter if it’s in a bun or braid. I definitely need a super trim!

imaginethat: Wow! So beautiful!

Denise Clarke: I just love how you do hair

Cant Hide👀: GORGEOUS!!

Jendaminnx: What causes hair dressers to be scissor happy?

Co Co: Loving the new color tops. You are definitely a boss

ben jones: Nice work Crystal!

Chocolate Drop: Wait did she really just say " I can be scissor happy but know when not to be"!! Woooow!! That's exactly why her were following u like a hawk when trimming her ends (I do too more so with a new stylist that I've never been to before ) and you're the EXACT type of stylist I steer clear of AAAANND your statement "I know when not to be makes absolutely NO sense" there is NEVER a right time to be scissor happy in anyone's hair being for me, scissor happy means cutting to much off, more than needed, more than client requested (if it's a hair cut) or more than discussed!! I mean I appreciate your honesty but damn‍♀️

Mary Williams: Crystal your work is just gorgeous gorgeous, have an especially great blessed week, Mary Ann.

Donnie Lindon: Beautiful stay safe yall.

jean: so pretty wow wish my hair looked as good as hers.

Here for It: The flat iron is set to 465 degrees?? Human hair burns at the same temperature as paper: 451° F (233° C.) Hitting above this will melt your hair shaft, causing all sorts of problems like dryness, brittleness, and excess frizz.

Audrey Henderson: Beautiful healthy hair

Courtney Taylor: Her hair is beautiful . Great job

Janet Lesley: Yes it came out real silky very pretty

s stwo: I had to learn the hard way, I burnt my hair out with with a titanium iron at home....now I stick to my chi, and fhi...

JuicyCurls: Omg her hair is beautiful

Lori Bollinger: Gorgeous!

Mintoria Adams: What can I do too grow and thicken my thin hair thank you

Jackie Randolph: Hey Crystal I love your pant. Her hair is long shiny and lovely

Lashawna Brady: Her hair shouldnt be reverting back while still in your chair... even if its not heat trained. You should reduce heat and take smaller pieces... yes it will take 30 min longer but its a better quality technique. No short cuts when it comes to quality...Pro Tip.

Renee Martin: Hi chris cant wait to see the oucome of what will do with all this hair.

Rose Wilson: Hi Crystal is the black rice oil good for the hair growth

Rose Wilson: Hi Crystal do I need to rise out the black rice hair oil

P Davis: Hivery good video her hair looks so very pretty

BovineBeauty Moo: Her natural curl was beautiful

bev d: You have to be careful. ..cause envy will make you lose ur hair

SHELLY: She was watching you too Crystal!!

rebecca fischer: Love watching the shampoo.

Zuri D: Kudos on the Job, Congrtz on the Hair. Nice...<3 :))

Wanda R: Everyone in the comments saying hairstylist can’t wait to cut people’s hair. I experience the opposite I have to tell mines it’s okay to cut more probably because she had experiences with clients who rather hold on to damage hair for the length

Shirley Franks: U didn’t shampoo the back of her head, you only rinsed it

Badal Nabala known as Paula Royster: Beautiful!

Charmaine Chin: Love it !!!!!

Chanelly: The detangling part looks painful. Maybe because her head is moving a lot. I'm so tenderhearted

Valerie Naylor: Amazing job

Dayshena Cleare: Stand-up for Haitian people, what's happening in Texas' is an atrocity. There asking for asylum, but ship to Haiti without due process while thousands of Afghanistan's are welcome with arms open. Let's have humility for them al This white in front, black get back must end.....

Christian Dior: I love long hair videos.
