Hi everybody Karla here and I'm back with a new video. If you are a black woman preparing to go to South Korea for the very first time there are a few things that you'll need to prepare before you go, especially when it comes to your hair. In this video I'll share 5 haircare tips that will help you during your stay in Korea. Before you even arrive in Korea, you'll need to go to the store and buy all of your favourite products to bring with you to Korea, because in Korea they don't cater to kinky curly hairstyles. So it will be kind of difficult to find these products. If you do find them, they'll be pretty expensive if you're not sure what to bring here's, what I recommend just make sure to bring your favorite shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner and an oil or a moisturizer. You should also think about bringing any accessories such as soft curlers, brushes and combs. Although I did just recommend that you bring things with you to Korea, it is possible to order things. Online. You'Ll just have to be prepared to pay a little bit more for the products. When I was in Korea, I ordered from honey Beauty Supply. I herb calm and Amazon using Amazon works better if you're an Amazon Prime member because of the free shipping, be sure to add your new Korean address to your Amazon profile. In order to search for things that actually ship to Korea, the water in Korea is most likely different than what you're used to in your home country and there's no telling how your hair will react. So, in order to keep the water in your shower as clean and it's safe for your hair as possible, you should definitely buy a water filter. These can be found online through websites like G market, and I think even Amazon might have some, but you can also get them at Lotte Mart or any kind of big store grocery store in Korea. This can be kind of tricky, but it's possible to find someone to do your hair in Korea, especially if you want a break from manipulating your hair everyday. There are a lot of stylists in Korea could do protective styling. My personal favorite stylist is glossy hair run by Princess Telma near Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek. She has a nice salon and a store with hair products, wigs and extensions to get there from Seoul you're going to have to take the subway it's kind of a long ride, but it's worth it. My next piece of advice is to join the haircare community on Facebook called natural beauty in Korea. In this community, you can post your questions about different stylists or ways to take care of your hair or even get ideas for Styles. Natural beauty in Korea is also a great place to connect with people who understand the struggle of natural hair care in Korea, from product recommendations to unwanted hair. Touching that you might experience in Korea, it's a great place to vent and ask questions. Have you decided your hair care plan for South Korea, yet let me know in the comments below well, that's all for today guys see you next time. Bye, you
