I'M really pleasantly surprised by this. Obviously, oh you know like hi, my name is pip, and today we are going to be using lush's new afro haircare range lush has been around for years. It'S one of those places that you go to for christmas presents gifts for your mom gives to friends and family. When you can't think of anything except them washing, you know, so they do suck, they do bath bombs. They do body care, they do hair care. They are, you know, really focused on being ethical, so they're against animal cruelty. This is all recyclable. All of their jars that are using plastic are recyclable, jars this, but in the packing peanuts, dissolves in water, okay, eco, one honey. A lot of my friends have loaded their hair care products and i've never really been able to try it because, as we know, what's good for the booze isn't always good for the gandalf. I'Ve never really thought of lush for doing hair products, but it makes sense because they use like natural stuff so like it would be good for hair. I love blush hair products. The only thing for me is the price. I have used a lush hair product before actually i've used two, they usually smell really nice, because it's lush, obviously so, let's get into it. This is the range it says it focuses on every afro, hair type, so from like 3b to 3c to all the way up to 4c, which is like the most coily. I today will be washing my hair as usual and then basically trialling their liquid oil and cream and products in terms of liquid um lush have got this super milk conditioning, hair primer in terms of the oil part of it. We'Ve got renee's shea souffle and then i finish that up with like a curling cream, which this is curl power, hair cream, celebrate your curls and coils with this enriching blend with fair trade, organic cocoa of our argan, coconut and jojoba oils. Let me which is a conditioner. It says it's a smooth operator that gets the roots of your hair's moisture, must haves packed with hydrolyzed wheat protein for strength and ethyl macademiate to help your curls beat the heat. My hair is dry, so hopefully this is going to be good. I have this with glory. It'S a conditioner with okra and coconut cream and olive oil excited to try this, because i think you'll save my hair from what i've done to it. In the past, i'm gon na use avocado co-wash, i'm going to use the grenacio souffle for my scalp and the super milk, which is gon na, be great. It'S gon na be great. So, as you can see, i'm all washed shrinkage is so real. I'M just gon na use the um loc products as i would use my products. Usually i would start off by using a leave-in conditioner or in this case the conditioning hair primer. It'S called super milk, so this says a triple whammy of conditioning almond, coconut and oatmeal delivers essential rehydration for all kinds of hair, whether that's on the go or on day three of your style apply through wet hair. As my hair is so yeah, i think with leaving conditioners on that relatively liberal sick. Oh, i don't know if you can see, but i feel like the flakes have kind of been washed out and your scalp feels a lot less itchy and it smells good okay. So my hair has been shampooed. It'S super dry right now, so i'm gon na put the power to the test kind of looks like peanut butter. It doesn't smell like sweet potato, but in a nice way. Oh, but it's good! Oh yeah! It smooths onto the hair. Really nicely, and i can actually kind of almost feel it melting away, the tangles very good for detangling, and it just says let it sit and work its magic. I may have picked up too much, which is surprising how much i've used so like a good fifth, i think it's coated my hair pretty well, it hasn't sucked it in how it does with. Like other conditioners. You know when you souffle, and so it's like a hair in scalp oil and it says, enrich hair with moisturizing, avocado and almond oils, plus coconut oil, for shine, bring that bell, because a great hair dye is just a rad. This smells really nice. This feels really nice, you know what just go for it. There'S a nice shine, i'm dressed like this, so i can pretend let's try super milk, because this spray is a spray you know, but it's like dispersed. So as i spray it, it goes straight onto my scalp because you can see obviously how pale it is there's a little bit as it goes through. It is quite nice. It does smell very strong, not in a bad way. It'S just very potent i'm still not in love with the way this disperses, the way my hand fits and the false okay, so i've just rinsed it, and i mean nothing noticeably special, so i'm just going to put my leave-in in twist it until it dries stretch. It out, i will say my hair felt very manageable. I didn't have to like wrestle with it when i was getting into these braids, but the true test will be when it's dry and if it maintains the moisture, that's got another thing that i'm going to wait and see for when it dries is. If i still smell like this, it's not an unpleasant scent, but it is noticeable right now, at least so, i'm going to wait for this to dry, put my twists in which will be the true test and then come back. I'M going to put a scarf on and see how it can flatten my hair. This is a look man, i'm just so well, if this don't work, this is how i've gone at the house. Finally, we have this the curling cream, which is curl power. My hair feels really really soft. I'M really pleasantly surprised by this. Obviously, oh you know like it feels so moisturized and it's not sticky. It looks good and my hair smells great like this smells like a smoothie. It smells so nice they're a lot flatter than um. When i started now we're going to moisturize my scalp a bit more with this hair and scalp oil, this does smell good. The consistency is nice, the way it rubs in so it feels more cream-based. Then it would be like an oil. My flakes have definitely minimized from like first impressions. My hair is very soft. It'S not as straight flat. It usually is. It just feels less rough, it's more fluffy-ish! It feels like i deep conditioned very interesting. I'M gon na try. It properly bantu knot here and see how it is tomorrow morning, look at me in a scarf on buzzfeed. I remember the first time i did a video and i said it would never happen, and here it is it's a day, a couple of days after using the conditioner - and i will say it was really really good. My hair doesn't feel greasy, it still feels clean and the sweet potato smell kind of went and left like a kind of woody sweet scent. This is the final result and i really like, as i keep putting my hands through it, the way that my hair feels and i quite like the way that it looks as well. It'S not an immediate drastic change, because these are knotless braids. They were always flat against my head. My aim for when using the products were to just revamp and refresh, i wasn't expecting miracles like my girl. Just did my hair. When i came to do the parting of my hair, i could just put the comb through like that, so it definitely helped to like detangle and stay tangled. My hair is insanely soft compared how it was over the past few weeks because of all the bleaching. Usually it takes me about like an hour or two to detangle my hair and like put into bantu knots, but this literally took like one yoga episode. Without heat, there was no heat. Usually i use the heat blow dryer, i'm just going to add. This was just like, so it definitely did feel like. I used a deep conditioner instead of just the conditioner. I still have flakes because the range again doesn't have a shampoo and the avocado co-wash that i use was good, but it only slightly reduced the flakes that i had in my head. My hair smells really nice classic. I miss mine like this yeah a little bit. I would definitely recommend buying it. I'Ll definitely buy it again. This is good. This was good. The lush afro loc care range is a win for me and i'm really pleased for that. Actually, because the more mainstream opportunities there are for black beauty and hair care, the more people will invest in it and more options. There will be for us and that's only a good thing, but let us know what else you want us to try thanks. So much for watching my name is aisha and drop. A comment below you.

Tee B: Let’s talk about about white women can get a gallon of shampoo, a gallon of conditioner and a half a gallon of styler for a few bucks but products for kinky curly or coils mostly for women of color get 8 ounces or less of each for quadruple the price and we use more of each so end up paying more for less. Can any of these companies, large or small ethnically owned or not, female owned or not, to offer us more products for comparable costs??? Women with more textured hair should have to spend more.

Elmast Khorozyan: Can we please appreciate how beautiful they all are :’)

jen matturi: The portion sizes are SO small. 3 washes and you’re done. I think Lush should know that Afro hair takes so much more product.

jrblue2: UK Black owned brands: Almocado, Anita grant, Heavens Touch UK (etsy). Just some brands for us by us. Feel free to reply with other black owned brands you like. Racist Lush aren't getting my money.

Maritza Moffett: The problem is that the products are so small. You’d have to use half of it to get the results you want, therefore having to buy more after two or three uses depending on your hair length.

Becca Smith: Glad they're doing this, but I don't think it's up to our community to support every effort to market to us. It's up to companies to decide whether they want our coins or not, and create products that actually work for us. We've been out here with money to spend. I want real choice and quality.

Lola Kim: I liked lush until reading these comments , let’s shop black owned guys.

Farrah C: At last a company that uses the word Afro to describe our hair. 21.12.2020

Ange N.O.: I CRINGED everytime a microfiber towel wasn't used! Buuuut can we talk about how beautiful these ladies are!! I definitely trying Reneé's Souffle!

Nats: Oh Lush getting in on the natural hair community because they know there is money to be made.

tisajordan1797: No for me....there are definitely enough BOBs with amazing products for Afro hair.

Torrez Gordon: Anyways, buy black owned guys

Curl.Jewels: I rather give my money to Black Businesses instead.

Abiana C: I know Pantene isn’t black owned but the gold series line was created by 11 black phd scientists (all women) and the products are practical and affordable and I absolutely love their stuff like $7CAD highly recommend

mary mary: Im so proud to be black

L.R. Red: Watching some of these girls rub their hair with towels just gave me anxiety.

Chosen Remnant: Thanks Lush it's the thought that counts we embrace any lovely natural sweet scented hair products that are not chemical riddled. Should be suitable for all hair types if it natural product nobody should be all up in their feelings about natural hair products for Afro type hair

Mica Saint Michael: Do a miss Jessie’s review! Black owned and amazing products!!

Raven Walter: I just love Lush, the products have helped me transform my wavy frizzy curls

BudgetBeauty: Very distracted by how beautiful these folks are! They all radiate great vibes!

jacqueline jacqueline: Loved the reviews, BUT ... the range of product for Afro hair is too small, very Slow in coming ( considering we spend so much on our hair care) and the prices are far too high. I will stick to buying my hair products from my sisters on the market. 2021 Black Pound Focus.

TheThailaRose: would love to see you do the sulfur 8/wild hair growth 30 day challenge!

BelizeGyaal80: This is so great. I Love Lush. Absolutely Love them. I use R&B, H’suan Wen Hau hair treatment, Curly Wurly Shampoo and of recently Curl Power hair cream. All great products and the latter, really moisturizing and smell incredible. Hair always has major shrinkage even though it’s got some length. Super dry. Just always leaned towards natural products and making my own concoctions. I have 4C hair, fine but dense, High Porosity.

Carla Emmanuel: Love this!! Would have loved to have tried if I didn't have locs... speaking of which can you do a loc'd based video or add another lady with locs... get the whole range of hair types in there?

mai s: lush’s founders were trichologists...so duh they make products for wide range of ppl’s hair if you pick for YOUR HAIR TYPE(not for the scents) they should work good and most of them are vegan (the rest are vegetarian) which is great

Purplefrilly: The mane choice is an amazing black owned hair care brand. All their products are pretty good for type 4 hair and not disappointing

Gypsy Jade: I won’t use this trash on myself or my children .Lush is one of the specific brands I discuss with my kids. I say look how we did not matter to them until “Black Lives Matter” and it still took an extra year. That mess clearly defines in bold print that we DID NOT MATTER UNTIL WE WERE A HASHTAG AND TRENDING!!! It takes one year approx. for product development and testing !!!! I will not be a billboard for racism! Yes LUSH is eco friendly and all that but there are SO many shades of brown and black and WE are way more than an afterthought!!!! Lush

Calypso's Portal: Definitely agree with Ikran about the price. It seems overpriced tbh with the amount of product

Laura Job: pip seems like such a nice gal

Lola Rew: Pip is a cute name.

John Nguyen: Y’all should get men to try it too because I think the curl power hair cream is great

Lovely Tee Tee: I'm a big fan of Lush products. I never tried their hair products but I love their skin scrubs, cleansers, and moisturizers

v jk: The way shes rubbing her head with that towel Could never be me

Nefarious Nia: Wooo can't wait to try! Thanks beauties

Smileyxchips: Omg this deserves so much more likes than it currently has

Loki Reid: I'm trying it as soon as stores open, as I need to smell the products first.

Layla Hassan: Somalis represent my girl Ikran is a beaut❤

Emma McCord: I would like to try out their hair products at some point I might go get some.

Lexi B: I hated their cowash, I felt it wasn't moisturizing enough. Like I had to use a lot. Also idk how I feel about a spray leave-in. I need a lotion.

SnEAkErHEaD: yay we have a new girl!! (ikran)

Chantelle Tucker: They have a afro hair range well I never it be interesting to see what the formula makers look like

Milla: The structure of this video isn’t very good. It jumps between too many people too often which means it’s difficult to keep track of what product each of them are using. It also just drags out.

kevin walker: What it Took Saturn and Jupiter to come together to get a real product for my hair LOL

Chux: Wait... she has braids in? That’s cool, I also wash my hair with braids. But... how will she know what the products are like?

Paige Queen B: I really thought it would be another brand trying to capitalize on black dollars (suddenly) but my friend just bought me a few products and I am pleasantly surprised! It took QUITE awhile for them get diverse and include black people in their haircare lines (I mean, I spend alot of money with them and always rolled my eyes when I walked past hair section like... Take my money but don't care about me). I am glad that black culture is FINALLY a focus although I do give my dollars to companies who were doing it before BLM was trendy.

saving gift: It gonna save my hair from what I did to it in the past

Francesca Kate: Lush actually started with hair products not bath bombs as the owner is a tricologist

Kirsten A: BUY FROM BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES.

Omandu HUisLife: Lady with braids, love your freckles

Adwoa Mk: What are the usual prices for shampoo because £18 is a little ridiculous, £25 for a co-wash?.

DuckyDae X: Christ, seeing a Tangle Teezer makes me feel like I’m 12 again.

Laura: THE WOMAN WITH THE FRECKLES IS THE PRETTIEST THING EVEEERR

urban_g00se_27: Idk why but I got really good tingles from that one girl.

Michelle Vill: I don't like Lush, I really wanted to like it. I used lush products for skin care and yikes! Broke me out so so badly. I am Latina and I use Kerastase. It works for unruly hair. Love it. It's expensive though . I notice a huge difference with my hair.

Esma Jaxon: Washing hair with braids is a no no

Muna: Ikran has such a cute voice

paynostagram: These are overpriced for the size. Yeaaaa I’ll stick to lush for skin and that’s only when I feel like splurging

Blue Coleman: Bread Beauty Supply makes great products and they are black owned. I don't know about supporting LUSH after the whole WPUK situation.

Chosen Remnant: oooh goody good girl for letting us know

Ashley: Those freckles are badass

Ruffey: For me, I'd rather spend the price point on Black-owned products. Afro- descended people are some of the only people with our hair type. I think we should benefit from the market that caters to it. It does mean I don't have a billion hair products, and I don't follow marketing claims made by brands. Much of the marketing pull on natural afro hair products is around moisture and strength, but also straightness (often disguised as manageable, softening etc). There's definitely a savvy-ness required.

Roblox role play .: Google Sarah Sango if you want to see created the products ❤️

Faith Giannini: “Eco. *Chef’s Kiss*” 0:47

Floridameerkat93: Stop using towels to dry your hair!

rewghob: Have they moved on from the days of rnb? That was horrible, greasy and overpowering scent. Want to support black owned? Then try: Qhemet Biologics, Mielle Organics, Oyin Handmade, Alikay Naturals, Ecoslay, Uncle Funky's Daughter, The Doux, Soultanicals and many more. UK has Antidote Street to buy your goods and Afrocenchix, but we need more good UK made hair black owned brands. We're way behind America.

ItsBrittBritt: I cringed so much when she was towel drying her hair and it was in circles lol.

jc ebengo: I’ll never use lush on my hair

Fany Apartsev-Faibyshev: Oh my god, towel to hair???? I cringed so hard!

Esiri: People really need to stop using soo much cowash. Shampooing is imperative

Oneh Mosia: Yes for 4c

arimas lavan: 5:00 is not putting that conditioner on right omg no wonder

arimas lavan: I need to know if these women have low or high porosity

Foni Paul:

Ruben Bailey: From part of the uk are their accents?

YoungBlissLife: As a American watching this, you all have very quiet speaking voices...Or are Americans just loud?

Simulation One: Stan obia naturals

Ebunoluwa13: Sorry but I can't understand why she's using the product on her braids. We can't see anything happening

me: These sizes are just not it

kweenadafool: I can't physically be in or near the shop. It stinks and makes me feel dizzy. Good luck to any who buy

ol!ver: I don't know if i can support lush atm they donated loads of money recently to an anti trans charity

Grace Osas: Why are there barely any comments compared to the views?

Molly Brown: Reminder that Lush UK's CEO has admitted to donating thousands of dollars to an Anti-trans group in the UK and also recently made care packages for cops which isn't immediately a bad thing but people think it's in bad taste considering the on going BLM movement. Lush NA is under a different CEO, and has condemned them for donating this money. Just something to keep in mind when considering what kind of companies you want to give your money to.

Juanita Diaz: Could someone tell me what type of hair Is this one?. I think I have the same hair as she. Thx The one at 3:52 (Spanish Is my first language, sorry for the mistakes)

swordbearer: Uhggg! No thanks!

Ella Llewelyn: Yo

McKenzie Gillespie: Meh

andy MetzSant: I need boyfriend
