What'S up blooms in today's video, I'm gon na share with you guys my black own natural hair products, so a lot of these products I recently got or have gotten before in the last month or two, so it's just gon na be a collective haul of everything That I have so far unless they are black owned woman owned natural hair products that I want to share with you guys. So I have this huge box here full of goodies, but I'm gon na that I'm gon na be sharing with you guys and if you are curious to know this is actually a braid out that I did recently. I had my hair and for braids for regular braids and I just unbraided them and I feel like it looks really nice it's very stretch. I did this on stretched hair. If you've seen my flexi rod video. This is just another style. I did on that stretched. Hair - and I think it looks pretty pretty good and I'm gon na keep it in for a few days. But if you were just wondering this is a braid out on old stretched hair. So the first brand that I'm gon na be showing you guys. It'S my nail organics and I recently took part of their anniversary sale that was back in May and I just reopened some of my favorite products and I picked up some new things as well, and the first thing that I have here is the my L Baba Su and mint deep conditioner - I like this deep conditioner because it has protein and moisture balance and it has a lot of slip. Although the consistency is a little bit more runny than I'd like, but it still goes on pretty well, I'm trying to open it. So you guys can see the consistency like. I said it's a little bit on the runny err side, but it's still. It still gets the job done in terms of smell. Oh my gosh. It has a really minty smell. So if you're not into mint or the tingly feeling that you get when you apply products that have mint or a tea tree of that sort, you wouldn't be a fan necessarily, but in terms of the benefits, I would say that this product hits all the marks. In certain, in terms of the protein and moisture balance that you're looking for so I grabbed a couple of these as well as I restock on some of my favorite oils from their rosemary mint collection. I grabbed a few bottles of this oil because I really enjoyed especially when I have a protective style. I really enjoy this oil in particular mundum il jingle contest I won second place, and with that I was able to choose a collection that I wanted to try and I haven't tried the pomegranate and honey line. So as part of my winnings, I got two. I was able I was gifted with the pomegranate and honey collection, so I basically have the whole collection, ranging from the shampoo conditioner, refresher spray, leavin and twisting souffle and all of all those things. So this this is the cleaving conditioner here from the pomegranate and honey line. I love the packaging. That was, that was one of the things that drew me to wanting to try. This collection actually was the packaging and in terms of smell mmm, it smells really good. It has a very sweet scent, which I don't mind and, like I said, I have the entire collection here and I'm just gon na show you guys what else I have I'm just trying to close it so the next product from that collection. If this is their pomegranate and honey, curls smoothie and I've already been thinking about what type of styles I'd like to do a range. It ranges from leaving conditioners, curling, custard and currently smoothies. So there's a lot of options here and I feel like. I definitely would want to do twist outs and washing goals using the different products, so you guys would definitely see that when I get to it, but this is the last product I'm gon na show you guys just because I don't want to drag this on too Long, but this is the pomegranate and honey curl refreshing spray, so I picked up the pomegranate and honey twisting souffle during their anniversary sale. This is this. Is it here and with this product I feel like? I would love to do a twist out because of the consistency it's so buttery and creamy. I feel like a twist out with this would be amazing. It'S super thick mmm and it has a lighter sand compared to the other products that I've smelled, but definitely twist out with the twist out with this product, would be amazing and I'll. Definitely let you guys know my thoughts on it when I use it. So the next brand that I picked up items from is honey's handmade and made. I picked up their sweet, potato lowpoo, co-wash, cleansing butter here and I've already used this and I really enjoyed it. Actually, I had a great time using this product yeah. It'S definitely on the creamier side on the thicker side as a co-wash and I really enjoyed it. It has a lighter smell, a little more fall than you would expect, but I really enjoyed it and the ingredients are very simple and clean in terms of the kind of ingredients that I look for in my hair products. So that's great and next from honey's handmade. I have the pink sugar hibiscus plant, deep conditioning, mask and a lot of these products I purchased during their five during the Friday frenzies. So if you're signed up with honey's handmade on their email list, you will see that on most Fridays they will have some sort of sales. Sometimes it's a dollar. Sometimes it's buy one get one with a certain percentage of so if you're not signed up. I would definitely say if you're interested in trying anything from honey's handmade subscribe through their email list so that you can know when they're having a sale. So a lot of these products that I've gotten here like I said I got them on a discount. So that's awesome, so I'm excited to use that and let me just show you how it looks so this is a deep conditioner. It'S very it's more loose than I was expecting it's more than I was expecting. I don't want, I don't want it to fall, but it has a. It has a more subtle smell than I was expecting, so it has a more subtle, spelled smell that I was expecting, but that is their pink sugar hibiscus plant deep conditioning mask so next. Fifty conditioners, I have the honey's handmade blueberry yogurt deep conditioning mask so I purchased this item. At the same time as I got the so I purchased this item the same time, I got the other deep condition. I just showed you guys, but ideas can see. I really like deep conditioners, because you know it's Naturals. We use a lot of that. So the more deep conditioner is the better and I'm just gon na show you guys how it looks so right away. It looks similar to the co-wash. Actually, the blueberry scent is subtle, it's it's there, but it's I feel like for me personally. I wouldn't want it to be a little bit stronger. So this is how it looks. Very creamy seems like I'd, get about 2 to 2 3 sessions. Deep finish deep conditioning sessions out of this - so that's that's! That'S good, okay and then to the two products I have left from honey's handmade. Is this coconut water, leave-in conditioner and this twist and define butter? So this is a twist and define butter. I'M gon na open it, so you guys can see this product is definitely on the looser side. I'M trying to show you, but I also don't want it to fall. So, as you can see, it's really really running, and this is the twist and define butter. So I feel like actually you use a leave-in. This would be the product that you seal everything with or you can just use it by yourself. Sometimes I do that. Sometimes I just use one product to do my hair, depending on the brand and depending on you know what I'm going for, and this is the coconut water leave-in conditioner. Oh, this looks pretty good. The coconut scent is on the lighter side for a lot of these products. I would want the scent to be a little bit stronger, not if not anything too crazy, but just enough, so you can get more of a lingering effect. I don't know about you, but I like that in my hair products, for the smell to be a little bit more, you know on the stronger side, nothing too overpowering, but enough for me to really get the scent of whatever the the whatever the scent is. Alright. So that was all from honey's handmade. Now, I'm gon na show you guys some products, some recent products that I got from chocolate, kinks and curls pinks and curls. They were having a sale the other day and, of course, I took part originally because a lot of these clays sounded really really good and really on the more air Vedic and that those are the type of products that I like and also they were debuting. Their new clay, wash their aloe, rose clay wash. So I figured why not just pick up three of these and just three different types of these clays just to show you guys the variety that they have, I believe I'm leaving I've left some out, but these are the most recent clay washes that they offer, and This is the aloe rules, clay wash green clay and mint, and lastly, we. Lastly, we have the red clay and hibiscus, and I've heard a lot of great things about these clay washes and I'm just gon na show you guys how they look. So here we have, the aloe rose clay wash. I love this color, it's so pretty it's a nice pink and, of course it smells like roses. It smells delicious. Actually, I smell a little I'm getting a little bit of a chocolate scent too, but this clay wash has some really great ingredients. It has water rose, clay of nose, powder, aloe powder, beat EMS and slippery OHS. I definitely love a good clay wash and I'm someone who uses to ask that clay as well, but what I like about these clay washes is that they're all ready, they're ready to go and all you have to do for me personally, I like using them on Damp hair, so that's the way I would use it on damp hair, let it sit for a while rinse it out and then follow up with a deep conditioner. This is the green clay mint. Of course it has a little minty scent and of course I also it has a minty, it has a minty scent and I smell chocolate as well. So that's I'm really excited for this. You know I'm really excited so. Similarly to the other clay wash. I just mentioned it has water, but this is infused with green tea, nettle, peppermint, French, green clay, cha Chi Chi and some other goodies. Oh, my goodness, hey this is gon na be so hard. This is gon na be so hard, I'm not I'm not sure which one to go. Is I'm gon na have to ask you guys which of them which of the three I should use it. Lastly, this is the red clay and hibiscus I'm gon na open it. So you guys can see you already. I really like this color mm-hmm. It smells beautiful. So this is the red clay and hibiscus clay wash. I love this color, so of course it has hibiscus in there as well as marshmallow root, shikaka, cocoa, butter and beetroot Wow. This is gon na be this is already a tough choice, so I definitely want to ask you guys out of this out of this out of these three which product out of these three, which products should I go for first. So let me know in the comments out of these three clays, which products should I go so next, I'm gon na show you some products that I got from a company called coils and paradise. Now, coils in paradise is actually on the newer side in terms of brands, but they are definitely making their way up in this industry, and I got two products from them. I got their mango and Mo Farah styling cream and their cocoa biscuits deep conditioner, I'm just gon na open this, hey guys, can see. I am so excited to use these products. Not only are they woman owned, but the owner of the company, Leslie, she's Haitian and that's exciting, because as a Haitian woman myself, it's so nice to see another Haitian sista doing her thing and making a name for herself and also giving us amazing natural hair products. So if you didn't know this company is black owned woman, owned Caribbean own and representing for us Haitians out there, which is amazing, and this mango and my first styling cream. Let me show you guys how it looks it's on the thicker side, thick and creamy. I want to do a twist out with this, so bad. I feel like this twist out. It'S gon na be amazing. Whenever I get to it it's just by looking at the product, I can tell it's so much. I can tell that it's super moisturizing, so I'm de ingredient, and here our water marshmallow root slippery elm, pumpkin, seed and apricot oil and, of course, a ton of other things, other good things. So I'm excited for these products into trying them out. They also have other products available and they have a shampoo bar as well as an oil and perhaps something else, maybe I'm missing it, but I just picked up these two things. Definitely check them out on Instagram, coils and paradise super exciting, and I love the packaging. It'S so beautiful and it just it makes me think of home. Actually it makes me think of the Caribbean and just the island being back home in Haiti, and it's just it's is everything so I'm excited to try these. I know that's actually. Oh, I picked up from poison paradise, but definitely would not be the last time I get something from them and that I picked up items from and that is curls and potions. I'Ve been hearing a lot of great things about this brand on my Instagram and really wanted to check them out. I didn't wanted to check him out for a while, so when I got an opportunity to do so, I jumped on it. So the first thing I got from curls and potion so the first thing, so I got their bamboo and rice, water, deep repair mask their shave, a gloss, their shave, a clay gloss. And lastly, I got their blends scalp potion. Now. I'Ve heard a lot of great things about this brand and I was especially excited to try them out because, like I said, a lot of my girlfriends on Instagram have been raving about this brands really excited to try out the Shamy gloss. I'M gon na show you guys how it looks now. It'S super chocolaty looking and I'm gon na read some of the ingredients here, but I am really excited to try this. It smells so murthy and natural. This is yeah. This is definitely one of the products that I'm very excited to try, so it has water that is infused with marshmallow root, nettle, fenugreek, horsetail, rasool clay, shaving powder, coconut milk and cassia and a whole bunch of others. So for the directions it says to apply to damp hair, smooth down and leave the mask on for thirty minutes or four hours rinse well and follow it up with a sulfate free, sulfate, free, shampoo and conditioner. So I think, similarly to the clay mask that I showed you guys from chocolate, kinks and curls. This is supposed to be used first and then you follow up with a deep conditioner. So this is the exact way that I'd be using this product as well, and I think the definition err that I would follow up with, of course, would be the curls and potions bamboo and rice water, deep repair mask. So this is their era. Vedic restorative complex and this deep conditioner has aloe vera juice, glycerin, rice, water, bamboo, extract rosemary, leaf horse tail and a whole bunch of other goodies. I'M gon na open it up, so you guys can see it's a little runny, not too much um yeah a little. It'S a little bit more runny than some of the other deep conditioners, but that's fine! Oh yeah! It smells very gingery yep and there's ginseng ginseng ginseng root and I believe that's either rosemary or in that not Rose. May excuse me ginger. I believe that's in the ginger family ginseng, or that is ginger, but it's most very ginger. It smells really really good. So, after using this gloss, I'd be deconditioning with this right here and I feel like that would be a bomb wash day and this oil. This scalp potion: it's really cute, it's really small, but it is packed. It'S cute and small, but it's packed with a lot of great ingredients. It actually has water, hibiscus extract, Amla, fenugreek rosewater tea tree biotin MSM, and the list continues so for this bottle, even though, like I said, even though it's small, I feel like it's really packed with a lot of great ingredients. Last brand that I purchased from is from melanin haircare, so Melanie haircare has been out for a while now, but this is my first time actually purchasing from them and getting their products, and I got my hands on they're multi-use softening leave-in, conditioner and they're multi-purpose oil. I was looking for the twist and twist elongating cream - I believe that's the name, but they were completely sold out, but I still wanted to get my hands on these because I I've never tried their products before and I of course wanted to support Whitney and I Wanted to get my hands on these, because I've heard so many good things about this brand and the products, so I'm definitely excited to try them out everything I have for you guys for today. That is all of my products, my black-owned products. I hope you guys enjoy this video and let me know if there's any products here that you love or haven't heard of before or process you're interested in trying.
