Hey, hey, hey YouTube, it is a girl and hopefully you guys enjoyed the first part of this series of what does your hair really need on your natural haircare journey? Hi did the shampoo part already in so now. We'Re going to jump into the next phase, which is conditioners now conditioners, is something that should condition your hair. So either it's gon na be moisturizing. It'S going to be nutritious or it's going to be some type of treatment, so you know those types of things now I do have a protein sensitivity, a lot of people that do follow. My channels are protein sensitive because I can recommend a lot of good products and if my hair can either tolerate the protein in that product or it does not at all so when you're deciding on your conditioner, you want to decide one if you're gon na be A curly girl. This is important because your conditioner is like your Co wash. This is what you're going to be co, washing your hair with, if you are not a curly girl, you just regularly curly natural or even naturally straight the conditioners, it's the base for your natural haircare journey. It'S not the foundation. The foundation was the shampoo, so clarifying in the shampoo in the in the you know, just stripping your hair or lightly stripping here, giving rid of all the product build-up and so on so far, so on and so forth in the next part. Now is the conditioning phase, so I have some products here and I'm going to go ahead and talk about them, and I just want you to keep them in mind on your natural haircare journey. Is this something that you really need? Is this the product or the type of product that you really need? If you got ta follow up my channel for a long time? You know I do have my holy grail conditioner. It cannot be beat here. It is rare that I find anything that tops it, because it's just an amazing conditioner, and it is this conditioner right here. I know they change the packaging, but it is the scented avocado moisturizing conditioner. I love this conditioner for one it is multifunctional, so I can co wash with this conditioner. Not only can i co wash with it, I can use it as a regular rinse out conditioner rinse out, meaning I leave it in for 15 to 20 minutes, and then I rinse it out. I can use it as a deep conditioner get out of the shower. Put on a deep conditioning hat or a what do they call it? Thermal thermal hair care hot head, put on a hot head and deep condition with this conditioner or I can rinse it out. I can put some of my hand add a little bit some-some to it. We'Re gon na talk about that little some some later in a different video, but I can also use it as a leave-in, so go wash rinse deep leave it for different ways. I can use this conditioner and my hair responds to it just amazed just so amazing, whenever my hair is frazzled dry, I didn't use the product that just messed up my hair. This is one of the products that I turn to. That puts my hair back on the right course. It is soft again it is luscious again it just moisturized again, and I like that now they do come in larger bottles. When you're on your natural hair, kearney you ain't gon na need a whole bunch of shampoo. What you're gon na leave need is a whole bunch of conditioner, so when it comes to conditioner, this is the bulk of my purchases whenever it's a sale, this is what I am stocking up on is conditioners the condition of my hair. The moisturization of my hair is very very important, so this is a Holy Grail conditioner of mine. When you're on your your natural haircare journey, you want to find that Holy Grail, conditioner, a conditioner that it beats all others. Now, if you want something, you might want something that makes your hair feel soft or that smells good. Another reason I like this is because the smell is good and if I'm using it as a leave-in, it is a smell that that gets along and marries well with other products that I'm using. So keep that in mind when you're establishing your holy grail conditioner. Now I do have another conditioner and it repairs my hair to so much of an extent that it over repairs, my hair, it actually can't over a moisturize, my hair, if I use it too often or if I use too much of it now this one. I do order on Amazon, but I think I saw it at Target. I believe I saw this at Target and that's where I picked it up. It was the cassette bellow, the dresser bellow, it's it has a perfume fragrance to it. It was rather strong and powerful, but the whole product itself is powerful. So it's great that you pick out your Holy Grail, rinse out conditioner. You might want to invest in something that is like a corrector if you de messed up, if you tried something and put something in your hair, and oh my god, what did I just do? Having those corrector conditioners might be something you want to invest in this? One, I want to say it's like $ 14 little bit goes a long way like it's still talk on fool. I may use this one, maybe once a year like if I do a henna treatment and it dries out my hair best believe once I rinse out that henna treatment and everything - and I find out that my hair is dry and put this in my hair, I'm Gon na get that moisture back instantly, so yes, that she sent it it's great at that, but this is just so powerful. So on a normal conditioning day, I won't be using this. I use this one, that's more of a corrective measure. Now we're going to move on to rinse out conditioners with protein, I am protein sensitive. I cannot use a whole lot of coconut oil. I can use a little bit sparingly when I am naturally curly. I did find out that when I'm naturally straight, I can use a little bit more coconut oil, but I still use it sparingly. So when I say sparingly, it cannot be within the first 5 ingredients on the ingredient list, the proteins that my hair really likes. If I'm trying to do a protein treatment, it is keratin egg or silk: silk amino silk, just just soup, so protein. So for that I turn to Audion handmade honey, hemp, detangling and moisturizing hair conditioner. This is great for me to use as a rinse out. I have tried it as a leave-in. However, I can only use it as a leave-in one of the ends of my hair. If my hair is breaking off at the ends. Yes, it may be something wrong going on at the root, but I need my ends to be fixed and stopped stuck with the break-in. Just stop it. So I get a just a little bit of this and I kind of take it and I put it on the ends of my hair and make sure it's all in there in the ends of my hair, and then you know I get out of the shower And I'm good to go out and use it as a leave-in the protein in it. It'S not a super super strong protein. So if you are not protein sensitive, this is like kool-aid for you. So it's a great detangler. It makes my hair feel soft and it has enough protein in it for me that I can use it in two different ways. So as a rents out and as they leave in, I can deep conditioner with this, but the deep condition, videos and there's another. The next video, hopefully in this series, so we're gon na talk about deep conditioners after this. So I'm going to put this one off to the side. Cuz we'll talk about deep commission, then now another one that I'm going to have to put out to the side. But I wanted to include in this video is another Holy Grail conditioner and if you notice, all of my Holy Grail conditioners, are purchased in large sizes, liters, 32 ounces, gallons, big ol jugs a conditioner. I do not need for someone to discontinue another product on my journey and I cannot get ahold of it so another one that I am absolutely head over heels in love with as a co, wash rinse, leave-in and deep conditioners to all four is the curl junkie? Curl rehab moisturizing hair treatment in strawberry ice cream scent. The scent is great works with a lot of other my products, like my butters and the cream. The butter we'll talk about that in the next video, but just keep in mind that I'll that, if you're going to start using your conditioners at leas leave ins, it might not marry with your butter. So if this is strawberry, you might you might get a border. That'S great and strawberry and grape don't really mmm. You don't also get this conditioner. I purchased online from curl junkie during their selves. I can't get the this large leader size, any other places, but directly from curl junkie. Now again, this is another for heavy hitter. This is what you're looking for when you're looking at conditioners. You want to look at the ingredients because we've talked about almost all of them, okay, so what you're? Looking for in your ingredients, I like that the first ingredient is water. I need that moisture. So I need for my hair to drink up the water. The second ingredient in this one is aloe vera juice. My hair loves aloe vera juice, giving my hair what it loves is key to me. Let me look at that. She sent it one. The first ingredient is water. The second ingredient is avocado oil, which I learned is all that my hair does like. The third ingredient is aloe aloe vera, hello, somebody, the third ingredient in the curl junkie, is a scientific term or I, like I like to say it's science, it's not like a natural ingredient, it is the Sottero alcohol followed by shea butter and then the I think Is beat EMS, which is a conditioning agent, then horse tail net? Oh, what is this Melissa? Peppermint yucca rose hip roast up is great in softening jojoba great, you know, jojoba is just like receive them on the scalp, not on my scalp, not on my fall. A scalp, no jojoba oil is the sebum of someone that is a to a in one table. We'Re gon na get into the oils later. No, I'm again with that. She sent it. So you move on to grapeseed oil, vegetable, glycerin, B TMS, that seems to Terrell alcohol, then coconut oil, vitamin b5 and pretty much that's it so um when it comes to the ingredients. Now that you know about the ingredients, parts of the conditioning, what the she sent it, it does have the vegetable. What is it vegetable glycerine glycerine is a humectant. You meant it means, depending on the weather, it can either draw moisture from the air and put it into your hair, or it can draw moisture from your air so suck on all the moisture from your hair, which is not what you want and put it into. The air, so you have to kind of know what time of year you might be using it. My hair really isn't too humidity sensitive with the avocado conditioner and the glycerin is further down. The list is left not like the second or third ingredient. So but that being said, I can use that she sent it as a leave-in, a rinse out and a deep conditioner all your round and not really have a problem. But I do know some of you live in different climates, keep in mind when you're purchasing your conditioners and your leave ends and things like that. The ingredients when it comes to humectant, so that's honey. That'S vegetable glycerin things like that that this you make that can actually dry your hair out or you can put a whole bunch of moisture in now. With that being said, we're pretty much cool with the curly part. We'Re gon na move on really really quickly to the naturally straight when it comes to naturally straight and I want to straighten my hair still keep it natural still be natural being able to revert back to naturally curly. There is a conditioner that I rely on. I do wait until they are 75 % off or more because it is super expensive. It is the super-sweet back treatment from Miss Jessie's. I don't use this any other time unless I am going to straight into my hair, and the reason being is because this product has the combs in it. The combs are the silicones. I need the silicones to act as a protective barrier when I'm putting heat on my hair, I put heat on my hair, maybe twice a year, so I don't use it a lot. I'Ve had this baby on hand. I don't even know how old this packaging is, but I know I've had it on hand a good 5 years and that's where I am with it. So it's been around, I don't purchase it a whole lot, but when I do, I condition my hair with it. I rinse it out. I put a little bit oil in my hair. I rinse out the oil put just a little bit of this through my hair act as a slightly in because I need the combs. But if you are going to straighten your hair, you might want to consider getting a conditioner with silicones in it. If you're going to do that and then when it becomes time for you to go naturally curly again, you want to either do a protein treatment on your hair following going straight or you want to seriously clarify your hair and get all of those silicone and things Out so you can go back to being naturally curly and absorbing the nutrients in the right way make sure the cuticles are open and you're absorbing the nutrients from the products. So hopefully, this video was very helpful to you with conditioners along your natural haircare journey. If you're gon na purchase things that are going on sale keep these on the back burner. Let me know what you guys pick up talk to you guys later bye,

Reservechic: Great video! I actually wn the Crece Pelo Deep Treatment in the largest size they offer. I ordered mines off of EBay. You are definitely right about the smell. It definitely is potent. Which is why, I only use it when I feel my hair needs a really good deep treating. Otherwise, I stick the most with using other conditioners that I have in my stash, and my hair is fine with that. Oh, and the CJ Curl Rehab definitely needs to go down in the "Natural Haircare Hall of Fame", as everyone who I have seen talk about this conditioner loves it, loves it, love it! And, I have actually never tried any conditioners from SheScentit before, but the one you mentioned definitely sounds really awesome for sure! Now, I know some people can only use products with glycerin only during certain times of the year, but I have never experienced any negative issues with using products that have glycerin in them on my hair all year round. When it comes to using conditioners with non-water soluble silicones in them, I normally avoid use of such conditioners at all. Because they leave a coating on my hair, so if I do by chance use a conditioner that has silicone in it, it has to be water soluble. However, right now, I am not using any conditioners on my hair that contains silicones in them, only because I had switched over to a more Ayurvedic hair care regimen, for the sake of my scalp, and my ongoing struggle with scalp eczema.
