Hey guys, so i really wanted to do a dedicated review to the drunk elephant hair care products that came out earlier this year, uh up until recently. I'D use them sporadically, but i really wanted to dedicate at least one month to reviewing and using only those products on my hair and using nothing else. I'M pretty dedicated to moroccan oil and i pretty much use them almost exclusively to anything else. Sometimes i'll mix in a few different products, but i'm pretty loyal to them so changing to the drunk elephant products was a bit of a switch and i will say, uh, there's a couple hero products in there and a couple products that just did not work. For me, although they worked for some reasons, so in some ways and in some ways they didn't so the tlc scalp treatment. I love this stuff. It'S a great treatment. You can apply it 15-20 minutes before you take a shower, apply it directly to your scalp, leave it on and then rinse it off when you're in the shower. It works very nicely. It helps alleviate flakiness dandruff things like that. If you have like a scalp, buildup or oil buildup, it's a great product to use occasionally, maybe once or twice a week, you don't need to use it that often it isn't the most cost-effective product, because a little bit does not go a long way. But this one's a great one - i've been using it since it came out about once or twice a week so over the last month i really dedicated using it as direct, which i think is twice a week, um one to two times a week so yeah. I really like it uh, there's other scalp products that i use that i really enjoy as well. There'S a brand called ameliorate which they have some nice scalp products. They came with some body care products recently, which are full of fragrance, but their scalp care products are great anyway, so this one is a winner recommend checking it out. I'Ve talked to some subscribers who have tried this as like a mask on their face and uh. Some people said it worked well and other people said it was super drying, so i haven't tried it that way. I just use on my scalp so great, because i have a super dry scalp, especially during the minnesota winter. It gets worse and this has really helped. Okay, the other winner is their marula spray conditioner, which is really nice super light, leaves your hair feeling nicely hydrated. You can the best way to use it is right after you take a shower when your hair is still damp, uh use four or five spritz. All over it does a nice job. Typically, i use the moroccan oil oil. I guess that's their first product uh, but changing up for this one actually was a nice change and a little bit easier to use not as time consuming and a little bit goes a long way. So this is a winner. Now, when i get to their shampoo and conditioner, what i like about it is: it leaves your hair feeling soft detangled and when you use these even on days, i didn't use the scalp mask. My scalp didn't feel flaky at all. So, right after i switched off of these back to my normal shampoo, i noticed a little bit more flakiness. So this is very gentle on your scalp. What i did not like with these is uh if you have acne prone skin at all. I started noticing breakouts, especially around my hairline after i started using this, and i even tried playing around with it on days where i would just use the shampoo in a different conditioner. I was a little bit more successful, but on days when i used their conditioner, it was especially noticeable. So unfortunately, i would say there's about a third left on each of these bottles. I'M gon na have to hand them down to somebody, because my skin just does not appreciate it and right when i discontinue using them. The breakouts are on my hairline stopped, so that leads me to another recommendation. If you have dealt with acne at all, changing up your shampoo and conditioner sometimes can be a huge uh saving. So you just don't know, there's another brand. I tried. I think it was oblivica which i really liked the shampoo and conditioner, but it just made my hairline break out and i couldn't use it and i had to stop using it, even though i loved it for everything else. So sometimes it's worth uh changing it up and see. If that helps, obviously you know you get in the shower. What i do is shampoo, i put conditioner in then i'll, remove a mask or whatever, and then once i rinse out the conditioner, then i'll wash my body and face so don't use your conditioner after you've already cleansed, because that just increases the likelihood that it's going To get stuck on your skin's surface and lead to breakouts, so always shampoo and conditioner before you wash your face and your body uh, but either even doing that it just didn't, make the difference. So for this stuff, it's a no i've been trying to find out the common link ingredient between this and the oblivica trying to figure out which ingredient might have been causing it. But i could not find a link, so otherwise i do love it because it left. My hair feeling so soft, my scalp feeling so nice, no tangles, but you know what the hairline breakouts were a deal breaker. Is that a pun or not? I don't know but anyway. So these two not for me, but these two definite winners so i'll absolutely be repurching the repurchasing these again so anyway, i'm interested in hearing from you guys, uh. What your thoughts are so leave a comment. Next, i'm going to be using their two body products for 30 days and see what that happens. What happens with that itself cause? I see something depressing though i don't know if you can see it on the camera or not, but that's snow, usually at minnesota. It never used to snow before halloween, but the last couple years it snowed before halloween so anyway. Okay! Well, i'm interested in hearing from you guys if you've had a chance to try their hair care or if you have a favorite hair care line. What is it, and what do you love about it, so i love hearing from you guys and stay tuned for more tomorrow. Thank you. So much

B. K: oooh, I've been waiting for this. I tried the exfoliating scrub thing. Made a damn mess. And yanked a lot of hair out. LOL It'd be nice if it came in a liquid version. That said, it does work. It just isn't the easiest to apply. And, yeah, I think there are like three uses per bottle.

Laura R: Love the TLC serum but was not impressed with their hair care. I’m glad you did this review! I enjoy your opinion. The tlc scalp treatment gave me a reaction on my scalp idk maybe it’s just me !

Freedom Life: I really do agree with you! I always use my facial cleanser after I'd conditioned my hair because I worry about my hair care products breaking me out when they drip down my face

Becominghealthyandhappy: It was interesting to see your thoughts on this. I want to try the marula spray, but haven’t heard good things about the shampoo and conditioner, so that’s a pass.

Freedom Life: Olaplex is amazing for your hair in case you haven't tried it, it actually repairs rather than conceal damage

Lana J: I've had shampoo and conditioner give me acne on my back even after washing the area after conditioning! Anything with oils is a no go for me.

Kim B: Hi Sarah. I enjoyed there hair and body products ( but I have yet to try marula spray ). Will have to try that. I did not care for packaging once you get 3/4 thru product. I had difficulty getting to the bottom. The squeeze factor was a difficulty . I liked the scent of wash and conditioner.

Linda C: Snow already? Wow . I've never been impressed with any Drunk Elephant products . What was the name of the other scalp treatment you've used ? Could you recommend any other lightly fragranced shampoos/conditioners ? I've bought Calia shampoos , conditioners , & leave in conditioner & found them to be pretty good .

Freedom Life: Sarah the Eucerin oil control spf50+ has a whopping UVAPF of at least 48! It is between 48 and 53UVAPF

Veronica V: I get so excited when you upload LOL. I love your videos!

JayVanCit: I use Virtue hair products. The best! Recovery shampoo and conditioner. Salt scrub and hair mask. Can’t beat em and the full sizes last about 1 year for short hair. Prob 6 months for longer hair

Jamie: I love the body wash

Westin Britt: Here’s a tip, look into no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

ArtGirl LovesPaint: Not impressed with the DE body care products either. The detangler is okay, but pricey. The body lotion is too light for me--I guess products mineral oil work better on my arms and legs. The rest is meh. They should stick to facial skincare. The first snow here (prob in a few weeks) means it's time for a new bottle of heavy-duty moisturizer like Nivea or Vaseline! Jingle Bells to you .

michel c: Checking every day to see if the 10s video is out i trust ur opinion!

Italiano_Yankee: I hated their hair care, my hair became a brush! I went back to Shu Uemura

Meg Cormack: Snow! Way too soon for that, feels like we were just watching you at the lake!

Freedom Life: I thought you've been enjoying some kerastase products

aarontheabc: ❤️

B. K: also OMG snow in October??? Just wow... LOL
