Hi guys welcome and welcome back to my channel, it's your girl can stetic and i'm here with you guys today with a new video. So in today's video we will be reviewing the new melanin hair care. Multi used softening leave-in conditioner. This is she and I'm super excited about this, because in case you guys do not know. Last year, melanin hair care launched their twist elongating cream, as well as an oil. So now they are expanding the family, and I am absolutely here for it. So I went ahead and picked up the sleeping conditioner and I want to show you guys how you can use it. This product is claimed to work in seven different ways, so one product, seven different ways: we're gon na see how many ways we can use it and I'm really excited to share this experience with you all so before we get started to not forget to subscribe to. So from the period of I believe December. Attempts to December 31st melanin hair care was taking pre-orders for their new product and on the first day I went ahead and place my order because I was like I got ta happen. Ok, so I placed my order for this leave-in conditioner and since I was one of I believe, the first 300 people to place my order. I also got a free Felicia love the would brush it and come yet, but it's coming soon. So I'm really excited about that, because y'all know I love that brush. So I went how to pick up the sleep and conditioner. It was 18 dollars and 99 cents and it comes with 16 food ounces of product. This product claims to be able to work in seven different ways as a pre-poo as a conditioner, as these handler as a leave-in as a styler as a deep conditioner, and also to refresh your hair throughout the week. So I'm gon na go ahead and use this product in six different ways, and I want to show you guys how it works if it works and to share my honest thoughts and opinions with you all along the way. So I'm really really excited about this. Today, we'll be doing two shirts with in my hair and um. I think that's about right. Okay, so let's go ahead and get into the demo and you guys can see if it works, how it works and all of that so I hope so I'm starting off on it. This old twist out, I just had some big chunky twists and cuz. I was just around the house, but I'm gon na start off by using warm water in my spray bottle to dampen my hair. I want a dip, I don't want it soaking wet! So that's why I'm using my spray bottle and then I'm gon na go in with my Felicia Lanza brush the best brush ever and detangle my hair from and to roots just so we're working on a damp detangle base. So our hair can actually take the people. So now I'm gon na go in with my melanin, haircare multiuse, soften and leave-in conditioner, and the first claim it has is to work as a pre-poo. So that's exactly what I'm going to use it for so I'm just going in and applying it to our Dampier and it applied so gently and so soft. I was really really shocked, as you can tell from my face, but I'm just gon na go in and work that product and in case you guys do not know. Pre pools are a must, especially during the colder weather. So I have been doing a lot more pre pools and I love how this applies really like gently on my hair, equivalent to like a light oil. So I'm here for it, I'm gon na go ahead and let this sit in my hair for five minutes and then I'll be back to rinse it out. So five minutes later Here, I am dancing as always, and I'm gon na go ahead and rinse it out, and this is how my hair is looking nice and soft and juicy. And since I detangle at the beginning, my fingers could just go ahead and run on through, so I am here for it. So I'm gon na start off by cleansing my hair using my suave Naturals shampoo. This has been my go-to shampoo for a while now, but I'm just cleansing my hair making sure our hair is nice and clean before we go in and conditioned so once again going and with my melanin, hair care, multi-use, soften and leave-in. Conditioner second claim is to work as a conditioner, so I'm just going in and applying this to my hair. I second my hair and for just because I feel like it just makes washday a hundred times easier, but it applied so amazing on my hair. It was so soft and scrumptious. I was just I'm in love. I was just in love and now we're gon na go in for the third claim, which is a detangler. So, what's that same product, I used as a conditioner, I'm just gon na go in with bye, Felicia lado I brushed and detangle from ends to roots. It was easy peasy squeezy, my hair, detangle, it's in no time so now, I'm just going in and doing these same steps with the conditioner and detangler throughout the rest of the four sections and, as you guys can see, my hair is detangling like a piece of Cake and just look at this nice and juicy and scrumptious and oh baby. So now with that same product that we used to condition, I'm gon na go ahead and use it as a deep conditioner. So what I'm gon na do is just clip each one of my sections up and I'm gon na go ahead and let my hair sit for 15 minutes. So we can deep condition and then after 15 minutes I will be back to go ahead and rinse it out so 15 minutes later Here I am taking my clips out and, as you guys can see like, I Loki got like waves in my hair. I don't know if I shows on camera, but I'm here for my hair is nice and soft and juicy and moisturized, and I'm just gon na, go ahead and rinse this deep conditioner out of my hair, so that we can see how our here was really looking And it's really really looking like our curls are popping okay, I am really stunned, I'm really shocked. I was not expecting for my curls to be so defined after this deep conditioner by hey, I'm here for okay. So now we're gon na go back in with our melanin, hair care, multi-use, soften and leave-in conditioner and use it for v claim, which is a leave-in conditioner. So you guys know. I apply my leave-in conditioners in the shower and it's just a great way to make sure I'm locking it as much moisture and x y & z. So here I am applying the leave-in conditioner to my hair, I'm applying it as a whole, like I'm not separating. My hair into four sections, because I'm gon na go ahead and add a little bit more product when we actually get into the style and aspect of it. So I'm just here making sure that our hair is generally covered and then I'm gon na go ahead and clip our hair up into one and let it sit while I air dries before I go in and through our two strand twist. So that is my shower. Demo, hey guys, I'm back it's about an hour and a half after I came out of the shower and my hair is like semi ear dry right now, but yeah. My hair is still moist still soft and I'm absolutely in love with it. Curls semi define and we're just looking good yeah. I cannot wait to do a wash and go with this leaving and my extreme wet line Joe. If you don't want to see that video, let me know because I'm definitely gon na try on my hair and if you I want to see it, then I'm recording, but for today's video we are doing a twist out with only they leave in, because it also Claims to be a styling product, so we'll put it to the test and I'm just gon na go ahead and do like some chunky twists on my hair one, because I want them to be like. I want my hair to ultimately be voluminous and to I'm tired. So I don't have much time and energy to do anything else, so I'm just gon na go ahead and separate my hair into four and it is nice yeah. I am I'm blown away okay, so I'm gon na start with this section in the back and I'm going to separate it into two and for each quarter of my hair, we're basically going to make four twists. So in total I will have sixteen twists on my head. That'S the plan. Let'S see how that goes. So I'm gon na start off by detangling my hair, using my pattern, Beauty brush and I'm just gon na detangle from ends to roots. My hair is pretty detangled. Just because this product is also the tangler and held it down in the shower for us, I'm just gon na go in with a little bit more of the product and apply it, and we have that leaving still from the shower. So I also don't want to put too much of the product in my hair, so I'm just applying one more pump of the product to our here and then I'm just gon na do my two strands. So I pass over this part and then I will be back after I'm done to give you guys my thoughts and opinions before I go to bed. Hey guys, I'm back. I went ahead and twisted my hair up. We have 16 twists on my hand and a nice and fluffy, and you know so now: I'm gon na go ahead and wrap my hand up and go to bed and I'll be back tomorrow to give you guys an update and so that we can take out Our here and all of that, so I'm going to sleep now because I'm extremely tired in case you guys, cannot tell - and I will check in with you all okay, so it is the next day I went ahead and beat my face. I'M feeling and looking like a brand new woman, I got my eight hours of rest and I'm really excited to take these twists down, but real quick. I just wanted to point out that my nails match my sweater. This water is from kicks and froze. My girl smells grand check it out on Instagram. These sweaters are super comfortable, but now it's time to take my twist out, so I sleep with the bonnet on my head as well as a head scarf just to hold my edges down or whatever. I also don't like the elastic from the bonnet on my edges because I feel like that be pulling on my edges, but this is how we look real. I don't know what shape of head this. Is it's not a helmet? It'S it's. I don't know, but these are pants was the next day they are dry and I'm gon na use a little bit of oil to take my twist down. I do not have the melanin here. Carrot oil long story short. I meant to purchase it with this order, but I was just like. Oh my god. I need to get this leaving before it sells out type of thing, but then I remember the ship was $ 10 and I'm like I'm not about to pay 10 more dollars to ship before another product. So I still don't: have the oil hopefully I'll, get it during the next launch, but I'm gon na go ahead and use my alodia hair care oil on my fingertips to focus so you're, not gon na focus. I'M gon na use this oil so go ahead. On my fingertips to take my twists out, so I'm just gon na use three drops that into my fingers and I'm just gon na go ahead and just take each twist down. Okay, I want my Swiss down and now I'm just gon na go ahead and separate each twist, we're naturally separate so that our hair can have more volume, but from this initial take down the amount of definition that I receives for this being like just a leave-in Twist out was pretty good to me. My hair is still soft. My hair still feels moisturized, so I'm gon na go ahead and separate these twists, and then we will be back. So I want ahead and open my hair up, and this is how we are looking. It'S very voluminous. We got more volume than definition which I, as I mentioned. I wanted more of a voluminous look, but if I did want more of a define look, then I would combine the leaving with the twist elongating cream to get more of a defined look. But this is where we are, and I love it. My hair feels nice and soft, moisturize and big. I did open it up like true too much because, as I always say my videos and keep my styling for a couple of days so by day three, I expect for my hair to be you know, bigger and fluffier and more playful. So I'm super excited for that, but now I just wanted to give you guys my honest thoughts and opinions on this leave-in, conditioner and yeah. So, first of all this product, as I mentioned retails for $ 18.99 - and we get 16 fluid ounces of product which to me, is a lot compared to what you would get for $ 18.99 from another brand. So I'm here for the amount of product you get with the price, I feel like it's a great Buy. As I mentioned, these shipping on the website is $ 10, which is pricey and miss that hopefully, throughout you know more launches will see. The price of shipping goes down or you get free shipping if you purchase over a certain amount of products, because I feel like that would have really influenced me to buy more things on the website, such as the oil such as the head wraps. So we'll see if they you know, do something about that. Also, I love the fact that one product can really do six things for me like what you mean to tell me, cuz y'all know I love traveling y'all know I'm never home that. If I want to take care of my natural hair when I'm away, I can bring one product with me and it can essentially do like almost everything for me. I am extremely here for that. So that is the main reason why I wanted to try this out because I'm like it claims to be able to work seven ways, let's see if it really can I'm the only way I didn't use. This is as a refresher throughout the week, because, obviously I did my hair last night. We took it out today, but throughout the week I feel like. So that is another pro of this product that you have one product and you can use it so many different ways. So if you're traveling or if you're, going away or if you just want to go in a shower one one product and get everything done, you can grab her and she will hold it down. Okay, the next Pro that I had about this product is the smell. As you guys know, if you watch my channel make sure you subscribe, but I am a mix between wanting something that has them, but also wanting something that does it have too strong of a set. If that makes sense - and I feel like this is a equal mix of my two preferences - so to me, this product smells minty, it smells like spearmint specifically, I know that's kind of specific, but I want to give ya a good example of what it smells like. It smells I experiment to me, so it's very refreshing, the smell. Is it like too strong compared to like a peppermint or something that is more minty, so I did appreciate the smell of this product. I feel like it's not too overwhelming, but it still does a job of adding a hit of steps to the product which I absolutely love. So those are all of my pros one card, just the shipping overall, I love the wake up. My hair came out. I love the cream of this product claiming to work in so many different ways, and also the fact that it actually is able to work in so many different ways, which is key. So I absolutely love that overall, I feel like I am here for the melanin hair care brands. I feel like um throughout these launches. We see that I'm listening to their customers, as Whitney mentioned in her video implementing the feedback that we have for them. So I am absolutely here for that. I love that I love when brands are able to connect with their audiences and are able to listen to them and actually like give the people what they want. Cuz, at the end of the day like we're giving them our coins, so it's only right that they listen to us. It'S only right that they take into consideration the feedback that we are offering to them.
