Hi guys welcome to the channel I'm Amelia Arria. Today we are going to do a video on how we take care of our guests. Here we are going to get her curls all put together right now. She just has her hair in a ponytail. It hasn't done. Anything with it we're starting on the bathtub so that I can get arias hair completely wet and I'm going to be giving her a full wash if you're, just trying to put some product in your kids hair. And you just want to get it wet and then put some leave-in conditioner. You can use like a spray bottle of water to get it wet, or some people just use a cup of water that they kind of pour a little by little on their head or dip their hands in and get the hair wet. That way, whatever works for you, it just helps when the curls are wet, they're easier to manage easier to brush through and it's easier to get the tangles out. That way. The shampoo I'm gon na be using for this video is Garnier, Fructis, sleek and shine. It has argan oil and vitamin E, and it is meant to keep her hair, smoother, sleeker, less frizzy. It says for up to three days I feel like it actually does keep her hair pretty smooth for a few days. I really like it. I also like that. The leave-in conditioner that we use is the same, so it kind of all goes together. She really loves the smell of it, so it works really well for her. I'M just working the shampoo into her hair, making sure I get it everywhere from root to tip. Like I said earlier, we haven't done anything with her hair for a while, which is why we decided to shoot this video. I do not wash her hair with shampoo every day if your child is taking a bath every day. That'S fine, but don't use the shampoo daily. It will dry it out, it's good for them to have the natural oils in their hair. What can be good, as you can always get it wet and then just use the conditioner to make sure you keep it moisturize the conditioner we're using is the Garnier Fructis sleek and shine again. We like the argan oil, the vitamin E. We feel like all the product and combination, helps keep her hair smooth and avoid frizz. You can see that I'm using a really generous amount of conditioner. I feel like with curly hair there's no such thing as too much conditioner, you're gon na be washing it out. Anyway - and you want to make sure to get every last curl moisturize really on every part of her head, so I'm just using as much as I feel like she needs to get it completely moisturized, I'm especially when it hasn't been treated for a while. I have to make sure I get all the way to the center. I want to work it all. The way in before I start brushing the brush I like to use for her hair is called the tangle teezer. This brush has been a lifesaver for me when brushing curly hair. You can see the bristles are soft, so as I brush through her hair, they kind of give and that way it doesn't hurt her head, and so it gets through the knots little by little. But without ripping her hair out, basically now I'm gon na start running the brush through her hair. You can see that it still has the conditioner in it, which is making it smoother and easier for me to brush. I like to start towards the bottom and kind of work my way up. This helps me untangle her hair, like section by section at a time and when I can get the section at the bottom first and then move my way up. That helps me from pulling out more hair than I need to, and it also is less painful for her. The other thing I like to do when brushing her hair. You can see that I am holding my hand around her hair, almost like in a ponytail. If I hold the section of her hair in the back and brush, then it doesn't hurt her scalp, because she can't feel me brushing again. I said the brush that I'm using is a lifesaver. It really is so, even whenever I brush kind of rough or kind of quickly the bristles give away when there's a big knot, so it doesn't hurt her the way another type of brush would so that's a great thing, but it can still pull so I try To just hold a section as I brush and that helps avoid too much pain as the conditioner starts to reach the top of her hair. While I'm brushing, I like to kind of run my hand down her hair and collect it back into my hand and wipe it through her hair again, this is gon na help keep the maximum amount of moisture in her hair as I'm trying to get it detangled. You want to keep their hair wet and smooth as you're brushing and detangling it. So just keep adding water and conditioner as needed. Each child's hair will be a little bit different depending on thickness and texture. So there's no exact amount just add as much as you need to make it smooth for brushing. Most people will run conditioner through their hair and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it out, because I'm putting the conditioner in before brushing her hair. It takes a long time to brush her hair and get all the tangles out so that way, her hair is being moisturize the entire time, and that really helps with the results. Now that we're finished with the conditioner, I am gon na rinse it out of her hair because her hair so long a lot of times. I just have her lean back in the water like this. While I run my fingers through her hair and then afterwards, she sits up, and I pour the water on her head here. You can see how long it is and why it takes a lot of time now. This product is the reason that I started using the shampoo and conditioner on her hair. This is the Garnier Fructis of sleek and shine leave-in conditioner, and this was the first product that I used on arias hair that I absolutely loved. My sister actually introduced me to this product because she has wavy hair that can get frizzy if it doesn't have the right product in it. So we just tried it one time and her curls came out and like these perfect little spirals and ever since then I've been using it and I absolutely love it once I've gotten the leave-in conditioner into her hair, she gets out of the tub. She has a towel on right now and, of course, an iPad to keep her occupied, while I film, but basically I just let her sit while I brush through her hair and get the leave-in conditioner throughout all the curls. I want to make sure every single knot is out of her hair before I let it dry when I have the leave-in conditioner in and I'm doing the final touches on her hair. I try to take very small strands like you can see here, so that I can make sure that every knot is out of her hair. This will make sure that every spiral looks really good, really smooth. I want to make sure that I can brush through every single section of her head and then we'll fluff up the curls, because her hair is so long. It takes a long time in the bathtub and then even once we're out. It still takes a long time. So if any of you guys have any tips for keeping your 4-year old still during curly hair routine, please let me know right now: the only thing I've been able to resort to is watching videos, so she can stay still and I can get her hair looking As good as I possibly can, once all of her knots are out, I just go to the front of her head and I part her hair to the side so that it will dry in the right direction. Her hair parts to the left, so I'm just brushing it out that way before finishing up now, I'm doing one less final brush to get out any tangles that I may have created from parting, her hair and then after that, I'm gon na have her stand up And toss her curls around now that I've gotten every knot out of her hair. I'M just gon na run my fingers through her hair to help fluff it. This will make her natural curls come out. I just like to try to make it as fluffy and weightless as I can before, letting it dry, because her hair so long it can weigh it down. So the hardest part to curl is the top. So I kind of like to scrunch that at the very end, next I tell her to stand up just kind of toss. Her hair around flip it upside down, shake it back and forth. I give it a little scrunch. This is going to help the natural curls. Come out and give it a little extra volume, here's how her curls look wet after they've been all brushed and fluffed out now we're gon na. Let him dry now that her hair is mostly dried. It still has a few little flyaways, so I'm gon na use this L'Oreal Paris oil serum, to help lock in the moisture and keep her hair smooth and her curls. All together. You can see that I'm putting a small amount of my hands rubbing it together and then I'm gon na rub it through her hair lightly. I'M gon na do it a couple times and just make sure that all the curls have locked in the moisture and they have a good shape to them. Here is arias hair. After the oil serum you can see that it is light and bouncy. Her hair is really soft. With this routine, it's not crunchy. When I first tried some products, it came out really hard and crunchy and her hair just didn't look natural. So I love that this is still very soft and her spiral. Curls look great. I do have a question for you guys. I was asking a few people and we were trying to figure out what category her hair is. Some people said to see and some said 3a. I read that to see means that it has spirals and waves, which I feel like she has, but then 3a said that it has spirals and best shape spirals, which she also has. So maybe she could be somewhere in between. Maybe you guys have a better idea than I do. I honestly have never categorized hair before until having her so help me out. If you guys, on the answer, comment below all right, we hope you enjoy thanks for watching guys. Let us know what you think if you've ever used these products, if you like them, don't like them. Let us know comment below also, we love to hear from you if there's any products that you guys really like for curly hair, biracial hair, let us know we're open to trying anything. We love to see how it looks like here and please don't forget to Like and subscribe

SK E: My mixed race daughter has similar hair texture. I would classify my girl as somewhere between 2b-2c. Never tried these products on her before and thinking of giving them a go. I use Shea Moisture kids products on her at the moment. Results are great. Have you ever tried it?

Takahara Tanaka: My family and I, we live in Osaka Japan. Not so long ago had a little mixed-race African/Caucasian girl placed with my family because no Japanese family would step up to help. Your hair tips have helped so much. Thank you.

Amanda C.: Hi Amelia. Your daughter is so beautiful. Your hair routine is wonderful as well. I use some of the same products. I do think that your daughter's hair is a 3a curl pattern. Lovely. ‍♀️

boonip: Her hair is just like my daughters hair! Beautiful little girl! Now only if i can get my Biracial daughter to NOT cry in the tub 70% of the time when mommy does her hair that would be great, lol.

Nunu Jackson: She has mixed texture hair... some strands 2b all the way to 3c... Beautiful indeed... my daughter is the same... her curls some 3c-4b

Kadeejo Williams: What you can do is fluff her hair out at the root, after her hair is dried. Place hand at the root and shake. For the products that makes her hair crunchy, sometimes using the oil after the hair is dried and scrunching it the hair will scrunch out the crunch. The crunch is just a setting cast usually for the curls to last longer without too much frizz Hope this helps!

Victoria Braden: Try detangling in four separate sections during the whole process instead of it all being out . It really helps

Jelly Bean: She is so adorable!! I am glad I found your video. My daughter has curly hair as well. Thanks for sharing!

Mix 'n' Blend: Garnier Fructise is one we have never tried but will now cos your daughters hair turned out beautifully! We did a tutorial with our toddlers hair. Theres a list of products at the end that we've tried and liked so maybe take a look for some ideas there as well! Great job!

Marsha Marsha: I also use Garnier Fructis sometimes on my daughter hair I love the smell and btw your LO is such a beauty too!

Tony Myers: This mom is awesome for actually working with her kids hair texture and not treating the kid like an alien for needing a little extra care Also big props for referring to your daughter is biracial and not calling her black because you have a lot of moms out there who treat their mixed kids if they're just a black experiment

Kay Kay Sparkles: Her hair is so pretty, you did such a good job!

Quinn Morgendorffer: I like that she puts biracial and not white mom tackles black hair. That is misleading and doesn't give a positive impression of caring for diverse hair. Not every biracial hair is the same or need to be cowashed. Some have fine hair that gets greasy if not washed more often. You seem to be recommending works specifically for your kiddo. Good job mom. Cute girl

no comment: This is really helpful and your daughter is adorable.Thank you

Courtnay Lee: Thank you so much for this!So so so helpful! And the only thing I have gotten figured out for my little 3 year old staying still is videos too and the Bible app for kids on my phone. Trying for a Rubix cube but so far no go.

princesa p: Thank you so much for this video! I’m black,my husband is biracial, and our daughter’s hair is just like your sweet baby girl. I can do her hair perfectly fine but my products for my 4c hair don’t really work for her hair. I think the ones you mentioned might help. Thanks again

Takahara Tanaka: My family and I, we live in Osaka Japan. Not so long ago had a little mixed-race African/Caucasian girl placed with my family because no Japanese family would step up to help. Your hair tips have helped so much. Thank you.

Sebrina Shelton: Girl you are doing so great! I wish I had grown up with someone who was so good with biracial hair!

coneil72: Love this video! Tbh, I can't believe you consider this a "project" haha. I guess anything compared to straight hair is work, but I've seen so many videos where people are literally forming 1 curl at a time with their fingers, which just makes me die of impatience even watching. This was not bad at all!! Making me wonder if I should grow back my own natural hair. :-D

Titir Majumdar: 'shake the curls' I remember being told this numerous times in my childhood. I have curly hair too ^_^

Emily Allen: I feel guilty over the screen time as well mom but we gotta do what we gotta do! I would say maybe some coloring but I don't think she'd be as still. Mines two so we're just trying to find our good routine and the right products. I'm def gonna try out the Garnier thanks for the tips and products you use!!!

Iceland blogger: Thank you for posting this your daughter is beautiful!

China Austin: You should try a Denman brush. It’s exceptional for curly hair

alheli pyzik: My new fav mom and kid combo on YouTube!

Faith Mwende: My son has the same hair - so many different strands in his curls so they tangle so badly.

Amy Alston: Hi Amelia thank for this video. Im gonna give this a try on my 6 year olds hair!! What do you do the day after you wash her hair?? When my daughter wakes up her hair will be in knots. Do you put the leave in conditioner in her hair the next day?

Chrystal Victoria: Definitely 3a. Beautiful baby girl!

victoria COJIM BLESSED: I like this video because I have African hair ,and I use normal products that do the job and don't cost as much ,I used all the craps they say are good for your hair but actually didn't work so what works for the hair is great no need to buy some expensive products in in the name of. Natural...and what I ever like more is that this lady took her time the child didn't cry my African hair dresser s need to learn and be re schooled don't pull our hair s and take time ..

86matheos: You should def be a mom vlogger girl love the channel!

Chris Stroud: My daughter about 6 and is mixed. She has 3a hair I think and it's more of a wavey curl. I use the same method of brushing in the bath but she said it hurts when I brush, maybe it's the brush I use idk. I will try the one you use in the video if it works better.

Mindyuhbusiness: Beautiful girl with luscious curls ❤️

Eman Rafea: i have a four year old daughter with super curly hair and I need to use product of course to manage it. my concern is will these products have an impact on her hair in the long run?

Salsabilla Abani: ur girl is so funny and cute, and you are doing great. I dont even have a time to do it in my self :))

osthe lord: When can we see more hair routines or styles ?

It's me Shanny: My only tip would be to rinse her hair with clean water after wash and condition. I realized the dirty water going back into my daughter's hair was just reversing all the work I did and that's 4b hair

jessica velazquez: Hello & ty this process works great for us! How do you deal with morning hair? Ty again

Moronta Lipa: Came over from the amazon video love your channel !

Erandi perera: Hi Amelia this shampoo and conditioner is good to toddler? Thank you

Miss MarG Millionaire: Please invest in a wide tooth comb. That brush gave me anxiety lol

Jéssica Simplício Reis: Mt bom kk ⏲

Leelee Bug24:
