And we're just gon na scrunch, scrunch crunch crunch scrunch, hey everyone how you doing if you are new here, i'm nicole concilio and welcome to the video y'all today we are going to be doing my curly hair routine. Before i get into this video, i just want to give a huge shout out to maine's by mel and her sister amanda. They literally have transformed my hair for me by telling me what products i should use. I actually filmed a collab with them on their channel back in november. I will link it down below, for you guys in the description bar, but definitely check it out, show their channel some love, because every single product i'm using today is influenced by them today. We'Re in my bathroom riley is on camera, we're not using a tripod, so we got some handheld vibes going on, i'm basically just gon na. Take you guys through my curly hair routine. What i do i actually shower with my head upside down, and i have a few techniques that i've actually learned on my own - that i really do like and i'm excited to show you guys them today and we also are going to be talking about the hair Growth, serum that i love to use i've been getting a lot more questions more than normal actually and i filmed a whole video on my hair growth process. So if you guys are interested, you can go check that out, but i will be incorporating some of that into this video just so you guys can kind of kill two birds with one stone but yeah, let's get into it. I'M gon na be wearing a bathing suit in the shower, and hopefully you guys are able to hear me well over the water. If not, i will try my best to explain everything in the description bar but yeah. Let'S just get right into it. The first step is to make sure your water is hotter than satan's ass and you're off to a good start. I like to shower and heat. I need it hot as hell hot as hell all right, so i'm just starting off first by getting my entire hair wet and also. I know that my shower pressure sucks the water pressure. You don't need to tell me in the comments. Okay, the first product i'm gon na be using is this curlsmith super slip, prebiotic primer, you do not wash this out, it's basically a primer for your scalp and i have really dry scalp and it helps a lot with that. I then take whatever is left on. My hands and kind of just run it through the bottom. It also kind of works as a little detangler, and the second step is now our shampoo. So i haven't washed any of this out of my hair, we're going in with the curlsmith wash and scrub detox. Probiotic, and with this, i only do this, maybe like every other time i shower, it really is going to help if you have a lot of hairspray or gel or any residual product in your hair, and what i'm going to do is just now lather this all Through the hair, just like so and here is where we're gon na start to flip our hair, i like to really go in with my nails and scrub scrub scrub. So i'm really going in now and just kind of like scrubbing my scalp and here is where i basically keep my head flipped for the entire rest of this. So have fun. Talking to the back of my head from here on out. Here we go and i just keep my eyes closed as much as possible, so the next product we're going to be using is the briochio don't despair, repair. This is a deep conditioning mask. I use this every other week because it has keratin in it and you're not really meant to use it every time you shower, so i'm just going to take a nice clump of wampa just like this, and i'm going to put this through my entire hair and In the front, you want to make sure you're moisturizing, literally your entire hair, every even the roots and the tips. Everything needs to be extremely moisturized, because crows love, moisture, hi. So now what i'm gon na do, because a lot of you guys when i was explaining that i washed my hair upside down, a lot of you were very confused as to if it was going to get naughty or anything like that. While i have the conditioner in my hair - and i have my wet brush - i'm actually going to start to just brush it through, and you want to go very easy when you do this always start at the ends. This is the only time we are going to be brushing our hair, get rid of all of those knots and now we're gon na rinse. It make sure to keep your eyes closed. So this part right here is the most important you're not going to brush your hair again or especially, if you have fine thin, hair, thin curls. I cannot brush my hair again. So basically, what i'm gon na do is just start forming that curl pattern without any product in it, and here is where we're just gon na flip our hair, let it kind of be where it is, and i will meet you guys in my other bathroom to Finish off our curls, all right, you guys so now! This is what my hair is looking like. I don't even bother parting it until almost the end anyway, so we're gon na be using the curlsmith. This is the weightless air dry cream. This is a leave-in conditioner for all hair types, and i only use about that much so. Basically, i'm just gon na put this in my hands like this. I'M gon na flip my hair over again and we're just gon na scrunch, scrunch crunch crunch scrunch just get it all throughout the hair kind of like rake it through. If you want, whatever you want to do, i'm just doing what's best for me and my fine thin hair, so the next product i'm going to be going in with is actually a thickening spray, and this is the aveda thickening tonic. This i'm only going to be spraying on the roots of my hair, so just kind of like lifting and spraying lifting and spraying get the front because i want volume in the front. I love this product. I feel like it's one of the products. That'S given me volume and bounce more back to the root of my hair and the last product we're gon na use to actually put in the hair. Actually, that's a lie. We may use one more, but it depends. Is this moroccan oil curl control mousse? I was using curl creams and, since my hair is so thin, mel was actually telling me it's weighing down my hair, the creams, rather than kind of like sprucing it up. So if you are someone that has a problem with, maybe your curls weighing down too much try switching from a curl to a mousse and we're just gon na. Do a few pumps just like this and we're gon na start to scrunch again just keep that scrunching motion going and now for this step, we're going to be taking our blow dryer with the diffuser mel and amanda also sent me this diffuser. It is seg beauty, so i'm going to keep the blow dryer and arms length distance away from my hair, just because, if i start going in right away, while my hair is soaking wet still, i'm gon na create frizz. So my roots are pretty dry. Now we're going to start to go in and diffuse and the way that i like to diffuse is actually flipping my head over the entire time. This is going to help keep volume, and i also like to try to work in sections basically making sure that a section of my hair is in here i'll push it up, hold it there for a second pull it down. You guys will see. I can probably show you better than i can explain it, so, let's get to actually diffusing now all right guys - and this is what our curls are looking like and my part just kind of fell. Naturally, that's usually just what i let it do and once it's dry like you know, if one piece kind of goes to the other side, and i want it to go to that side, i'll kind of just carefully separate them, but the one thing about having thin Hair mixed with wanting to wear it curly is, i do find you do see a lot more sparseness, so my last step is always to use a color spray. This is actually a root cover up, but i find it works amazing for your hair and just like adding color to sparseness. It also thickens your hair as well. So this is the l'oreal magic root cover up. The color i use is dark brown and i'm just gon na shake it up and we're gon na spray it in our hair. So i'm just gon na literally go right down my hairline, and this is my carly hair routine. You guys, i feel like it actually came out amazing, and one thing to remember when dealing with your curly hair is that every time you style it it's gon na be different. It'S always gon na be maybe one side will be a little bit more curly than the other, and then, when you do it another time they will be the opposite, so just be patient with your curly hair. That'S what i'm learning you know trying to get back. My curl pattern and do my curly hair journey, and i hope that this was helpful and encouraging to you guys any tips or tricks you guys have are more than welcome down below in the comments, and i hope that you guys like this video, if you like What you see, please consider subscribing again make sure to check out maine's by mel and her sister amanda, because a lot of what i know i owe to them. They have taught me so much so i will link their video down below where i did a collab with them. I love you guys, thank you so much for watching and i will see y'all next time. Bye,

Amanda Guido: Nicol!!! You’re hair looks amazing I’m so happy that the products have been working so well for you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ AH this video makes me happy

Gena Marie: Great job, Nicol! I also have low density curls ☺️ The root cover up was a great tip! I also find that fluffing and shaking out the roots helps to separate the hair that tends to clump together at the root or stick to the scalp.

CrisceeCoCo: Thin curly hair ladies...where my girls at??✋✋

gavone1980: Finally someone comes thru with the thin curly hair tutorial! I have super curly yet thin hair (and it got even thinner after my struggles with anemia) & I feel like there is so little content out there for my particular hair type. I always use curl creams so the tip use the mousse instead to keep from weighing down my fine strands is SUPER helpful. Thank you! ❤❤❤

Olivia: So refreshing to see a youtuber rock their natural hair!! I feel like everyone has extensions and a perfect blow out Thanks for always keeping it real Nicol <3

Jade Harrington: I absolutely love when curly girls finally embrace their natural hair! Personally, it was such a journey for me to finally love my curls. My only regret was not loving them sooner. Your curls are absolutely gorgeous!!!

Madeline DelFrate: As someone with curly hair who normally has thick hair but it falls out when my health is being bad i really appreciate this

Makenzie Coolbaugh: Thank you for normalizing thin curly hair! I’ve dealt with it my whole life and it’s always been a huge insecurity of mine. So thank you!!! ❤️

Sarah Allegra: Wow, this is SO HELPFUL!!! People tend to assume all curly hair is thick and/or coarse I think just because it seems more voluminous from the nature of curls taking up more space. My hair is so thin and fine, I asked my hair person once about bleaching it and she said she thought it would “just disintegrate.” Thank you for addressing this issue, virtually no one talks about it!! ✨

Jacqueline carrillo: Makes me feel not alone seeing someone my age with thin curly hair and sparse hair at that loved this, and I need to order some things now! lol

Desiree Maturo: Thanks for being so REAL. Our hair and body struggles are *too* similar and you make me feel fine about both...not fine, GREAT. Whenever I feel down and icky, here you are to remind me I'm just as perfect as you are. Thank you, Nicol, I mean it

Aiza: This was such a good video, thank you sooo much!! It is so nice to see other people with thin sparse hair wear their hair with confidence!!! You go queen <3

Lindsey Prozanski: Love this! It’s great to see other people with thin curly hair. I’ve always been self conscious about my hair density

Jessica Sanderson: THAT GROWTH!!! As a fellow thin hair sis who has just started to wear her hair curly, I can’t wait to try this technique!

Maryrose Leivas: Your natural hair is utterly beautiful. Yes fellow curly haired girl! ❤️❤️

Jamie Lynn: I love this! Your natural hair is so gorgeous! So glad you’re keeping us updated on your curly journey!

Naty Lima: I used to have very voluminous curls but because of my health it got so thin and dry. It won’t stop falling but love this video! Definitely will be trying out your techniques.

Bethany Hutchinson: We have very, very similar hair, both in thickness and length! Seeing your preferences for your hair was so helpful!!

Sydney Gonzales: Loving how healthy and beautiful your hair as been! I know it’s been a journey

Keralyn Smith: Love this Nicol! I watched the Manes by Mel video you did(love her and her sister) and she is someone I learned so much from on my curly hair journey too! I also have thin hair that has a similar curl pattern to you and although my routine is a bit different, its so close! Love your hair curly and think you are absolutely adoraballs :)

Samantha Pratt: Thank you for the tip about the arms lengths for diffusing at first, I didn’t realize what I was doing wrong cause I love the volume I get when I diffuse but I hated the frizz! Thank for the tip!

Tiffanie McMillan: My hair started thinning and breaking horribly during the pandemic. Vitamins and scalp massage produced considerable results. Biotin, fish oil and black currant oil supplements makes my hair grow what seems like 4 times as fast.

Mrs Carley: You and Stephanie Lange have really helped boost my confidence. We are all so different but we are also all so beautiful!

Curlsmith Official: Love this Nicol, you did a great job and we love that you listened to Mell's Curlsmith recommendations ;) xxx

Nora A: Genuinely loved this video. I have thick wavy/curly hair and watching this really helps..I love how you did not over brush your hair because I find myself doing that a lot! Your hair by the way looks amazing!!! Love your curls

Mary Smyth: Thank you for this video. My curly hair has lost a lot of volume and changed texture post menopause and gets so dry . It really gets me down. I have learned a lot today

Jo Castillo: I'm loving this hair journey! So beautiful, Nicol.

Sara: I needed this!!! I am trying this tonight I’ve had a problem with using heat almost daily on my hair. Thank you for posting this

blessed: You look so young and cute! I love that people are embracing their curls and love themselves more !! Love you xoxo

joseys26: Love This Love Seeing you with your natural curls it’s nice change for you super cute !

S Er: Our hair is so similar. Finally someone I can relate to. Thanks!!

Clee Torres: Your natural hair is so cute on you. Loving it! I’m still trying to figure out what works for me and my stubborn and misunderstood hair

Marissa Damico: my daughter has extremely extremely curly thin hair so I appreciate this! if only i could figure out what to do for this little girls knots she constantly has lol

El Is Not Alive: I used to have beautiful thick hair but due to becoming chronically ill a lot of my hair has fallen out, thanks for this video :)

Shelby Sprott: Ok we have the same hair type! It gives me so much hope that I can one day get my curls to look like that, thank you!

Tammy Aswell: Thank you, Nicol, for sharing your curly hair routine. I also have fine, thin, curly hair.

Jamie G: Love this!! Your hair looks so healthy!!!

Annette Gourlie: Your hair is just like mine! I use the Curl Smith Weightless Air Dry Cream and the Curl Smith Hydro Gel at the end of my shower, I finish off with the Kinky Curly Curling Custard. Thanks so much for this video, I love that I'm finding more curl videos on fine loose curls.

Jay Santiago: Finally. A video of thin curly hair. I can actually relate & take this advice

Mara Diaz: Loved this video so much!!! Not enough thin curly hair routines on YouTube. Thanks for sharing!

Rachelle P: Here because Amanda loves you so much. After watching video, I can see why you are just adorable. I can't wait to watch your journey and hair evolve. Your curls look great.

Veronica Valenzuela: my curly hair is just like yours thank you so much. I love the idea of the root coverup, my scalp is always showing!

Amy Ramirez: Thanks so much for making this video! It’s the first time I’ve seen hair like mine

Samantha DiCriscio: I love your curly hair! I wish I had naturally curly hair, I gotten so many perms because I love curly hair. The short curls look really good on you.

nicole trombley: this is so helpful! i have curly hair too but its sooooooo fine. your hair looks so full and bouncy!

Gratitude & Grace: OMG, with your hair curly and short you are giving me major “ Tai” vibes from clueless!

E P: I think your routine is pretty on point :) The only thing I can think of is that you should towel dry your hair before applying any masks or conditioners, but that is a trick for straight hair as well as curly hair. Otherwise I think your routine is pretty good :-) I like to use the hydrating Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner + the oil for my curly hair, it's so moisturizing :-)

monica sojka: Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this!! My hair is so fine and everything overwhelms it. It is very thin too

Sylvia Spivey: I so use the color spray too!!! It's a blessing!! You can see my scalp and that stuff is great for covering that up!!

Juliette Pure: There is something new for thinning hair, that I haven’t heard before- tattoo. I’ve gotten microblading and it was the best decision, now I’m seriously thinking about it

Jenn Leah: I'm late to the video, but have you tried pixie diffusing for after your roots are dry/after hover diffusing? If not - it's when you get to the part of diffusing where you start doing section by section. What you do is keep the dryer off until you you scrunched the section up to your head with the diffuser, then turn it on and hold, then turn it off again as you let the diffuser back down. You do that for each section, keeping the diffuser off until you have the section mushed up to your head with the diffuser, and then off again when you release the section. It really helps cut down on frizz because there's no air blowing your wet/damp curls around

Dayanna Martinez: It came out so good! Love this! ♥️

Flor Delgado: I'm a Maines by Mell fan too. It was very nice of you to mention them, the way you did. I subcribed to you for two reasons. You look like you have my curl type and talking about Mell made you seem so REAL, you know what I'm saying? Real people makes me feel comfortable. Thank you, see you soon.

m v: Hi Nicol!! Thank you for this hair routine video!! I had a question regarding whether you are still using Vegamour or not? I primarily was using it to stop my hairloss, but while it did help my hair grow in lengths, it did not help with hair loss so i stopped using it after 4 bottles of expensive serums :(

Francesca: To cover up your scalp I suggest you to use colored fiber products safe for your scalp like toppik or mymium. There are a lot of video of the result. They will cover so much better than the root spray. The last one are just colored cotton fibers so natural e super safe for your skin is like when you fill your eyebrows plus adding gimmy brow fiber gel! Trust me is a GAME CHANGER thing!

Gratitude & Grace: I have very thin curly hair too! Dry scalp and patchy because of my thyroid disease. Thanks for the tips and tricks! Love your natural hair!

Gaby Saavedra: Love it! Curls truly suit you

AshleeMonique: Your hair has grown so much! You look amazing!!

Gabby Vargas: Yay omg I love curly hair routines . I have naturally thick course hair . It used to be curly wavy at one time before I killed it with the straightener in high school . I'm 23 now and I'm now trying to get it back . My hair just flattens and frizzes up now .

bria •́‿•̀: omg i don’t know if i can keep my head at that angle for that long… this video has some bomb advice thooo ty girlie ❤️ you look amazing ❤️❤️

Jenalee Amundsen: i needed this. i have thin curls too and it’s hard bc my hair is dry and poofy on the bottom but gets oily fast

Kimberly Shelton: It’s good to use a hair oil or serum on your hair after it’s dry to seal in the moisture this also helps keep frizz away .

Susan Haynes: Found you on@manesbymel My hair is so like yours, thank you for the amazing tips ! You are a delight ‍♀️

Melissa coviello: Love your hair curly. My hair has always been crazy curly (profile pic is from a hairstylist who defused my hair and then brushed it out and didn’t understand why it poofed like crazy, so she straightened it ugh).

Sara Gomez: I have exactly the same hair as you, thank you very much it boosted my self-confidence I love you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Aoife Otoole: Loveeeee ur hair so much x it looks so healthy

Hannah Leon: I loved your collab with manes by Mell, so glad to see you having good hair days!

SailormoonZ: Loved the video. There are so many videos on here that say fine thin hair and I watch it and they have fine hair but they have medium to high density!! Your hair is exactly like mine fine and low density thank you for making this video loved it

Gracie’s Mom: My hair is so similar...thanks for sharing your routine!

Eli Johnson: Finally someone who has see-through curls! You're doing the Lord's work.

elizabeth hammond: We def have the same hair type!!! I understand all your troubles and do my hair kinda like that but a little different I feel like every curly girl does it a little differently to get our best curls!

C Land: Love yr curly hair! Mell's channel is where I found you! Mell>saving America's curls➿ one head at a time!

Gypsy wolf: Maybe do a full blood allergy test. That made my hair super thin after after super thick and curly hair (I found out I got celiacs disease). It can’t hurt :) Love ur curls!

Maddie White: This is so helpful thank you so much!! Can you do a video on how you refresh and sleep on your hair at night! xxx

Wendy De Klerk: Hi Nicol! Only just joined your curl party (loved the vid!) and was wondering.... With your hair flipped when adding products, how do you prevent the curls at the back of your head from frizzing?

Luz Arvelo: I like your routine! Thank you for sharing!❤

Jazmine Thomas: Clumpa wumpa I love it!! I have to split my hair in half and wash each half bc it's fairly thick and I have a hard time getting product evenly in or out my head

Jac C.: Love it. Thanks for sharing this

Jaime Singh: Do you not use leave-in conditioner? Also, using a few drops of oil you can scrunch out the crunch. It will help give you even more volume!

Eva Jánosdeáková: Finally someone who has hair that look like mine! :O ♥

Allison Hooker: Hello! Have you considered dermarolling for your thinning hair? 1mm or 1.5mm to start with. Look into it. I plan to start soon bc the front of my hair started thinning after wearing my hair up for years.

jetson10100: I have thin hair too and curly, I was wondering if you've ever used Toppik hair fibers? It's very good.

Addi wells: Question: You said you only use the conditioning mask once every two weeks, so in the showers where you don't use it, do you use a different conditioner, and do you still brush through it there, or do you just skip the conditioning and shower brushing?

Willomina Albers: You’re hair is so pretty!!

Katelyn Leahy: Thank you sooo much for this video!!!

Michelle Brice: Try not to wash you hair with hot water...I used to but it strips the hair of natural oils and leads to dry/itchy scalp. Just a suggestion <3

LaMiss MUA: I love this girl hugs from Italy

Emma Tarbuck: Love you beautiful you look absolutely gorgeous love you love the videos ❤️
