Hey guys, it's Lisette here, so here's the deal I've been looking on Instagram and you know how there's like Instagram ads. Well, I haven't seen this ad everywhere and I thought it would be really cool to do a video about it. It'S about a customizable, shampoo and conditioner for your hair type, and so you create your own custom products in like no two products are ever the same, and I was like hmm that actually is pretty cool. The brand is called function of beauty, so I clicked on a link and I was like let me just see what this is about, and so, when you go on the site, it actually takes you to a quiz. What interests me in the products is that they're, 100 % vegan and cruelty-free they also are free of toxins, parabens sulfates and GMOs, and so I wanted to go on the site and take the quiz. So I am gon na start the quiz, and here it's telling me that you can build your hair profile. So what type of hair type do you have hair structure scalp moisture? So I would consider my hair curly and hair structure, let's say medium and for my scalp, let's say I think my stop is pretty normal and continue select five hair goals. I definitely want to deep condition I want to replenish. I want to hydrate have less frizz and I want to strengthen if you are picking this, what would be your hair goals and let me know in the comments down below and so for my fragrance. You can pick your fragrance and I want this. One is the best reviews, the nude peach, so I'm gon na go with that one and let's have the strength, be medium, so my formula name Morissette, is my name and for my shampoo color, I'm gon na go with purple. So this quiz was super quick. It took like a minute two minutes: the tunnel ends up being $ 49 for a 16 ounce shampoo and a 16 ounce conditioner, which $ 25 each products for a customized product. I don't think is too steep because it's something that's customized, just for you. I feel like it's hard for me to sometimes find a shampoo that I really really like, because I like there to be suds, but I don't want there to be any sulfate and so sometimes like with certain products I feel like when it's sulfate free. Then it's not really cleaning my scalp that well, so I'm hoping that this shampoo and the conditioner really helped to clean my scalp, so through the magic of editing a little bit of magic, all the above actually have it now. I just want to thank them for sponsoring this video because I sent them an email was like hey I'm about to film this. If you want to you know, then, with some products that would be cool and they did so. I want to show you guys what it looks like straight out of the box, because I'm super excited to see what my products look like with a smell like it says, function of lisette's. You know this is one of the perks of having like longer nails is because I literally just sliced this my nail to open this anyway. So, let's see what's inside, this is what it looks like my shampoo and my conditioner. This is just a little pamphlet, which shows and explains everything that I picked and what the benefits are. It also has the ingredients on the back so that you can see what they are and you can read them, and it also says that you need to shake each product before use and are both purple. Like I said before, these are the 16-ounce. It also comes with a pump for both, so you like screw off the top, and you can just put this little pump in because I was concerned at first because I'm like I have to take this top off each time. But no there's a pump, but just keeping it real. I haven't washed my hair in like a week. It'S been in a bun, you know. Sometimes you just have what bun weeks, maybe that's just me, but sometimes there's just weeks where it's like I'm just blending it out and I'm only wearing a bun, but I am definitely needing a shower. So I'm gon na hop in the shower right now and I'm gon na. Take you guys with me into the shower I'm starting with the shampoo and I'm just using it. How I would normally shampoo my scalp, which is starting on the scalp and sort of like dragging the shampoo down towards the ends after rinsing? It'S time for me to use the conditioner, and so I'm just applying this all over my hair and just combing with my fingers to detangle. Moving on to the styling portion, I'm using my kinky curly knot today as my leave-in. If I could get any out - and I'm applying this all over my hair and I recently rediscovered this product like I used to be obsessed with it and now I'm using it again, and so I'm just putting this all over my hair and combing it through. So I'm using my kinky curly and I'm also using my diva curl ultra defining gel, along with my believe, in mix together and applying this in sections just so that I can get defined curls. And after this I just like to defuse, and I'm done already so. This is the results after shampooing, conditioning and styling. My hair final thoughts is that I really really really like the shampoo, like that's probably my favorite, because I felt like it really was cleaning my scalp, but my hair didn't feel super dry or brittle afterwards, which is like a fear that I have when I use A shampoo that like suds up, is that my hair's gon na be like super dried out. I feel like it's a really good, clarifying shampoo that I would use, maybe like every other week, just so that I could have my scalp be super clean and yeah. Natalie Dube: I have fine straight hair, and i did try this product. I have to say i absolutely loved the smell and color of my shampoo and conditioner (peach scented and blue). I thought the shampoo helped with my oily hair a ton! However I usually like my conditioner to make my hair feel like silky and smooth while i'm using it and i didn't really get that with that particular one. But the hair mask was a different story, I loved the way it made my hair super soft and hid my split ends, I think for the price this is a great product and i might repurchase the shampoo and deep conditioning hair mask!
