I am having an amazing beachy wave curl day, and I have to tell you about the products that I'm talking about the full line. Everything that I use is only from the not your mothers curl talk line before we get into the video. If you have not seen the in shower tutorial on how I apply, these products be sure to watch it now or watch it after this video, so you can see the full effect on how I apply all of my products. As always, I link all the information to the products I talked about in the description box and let's get into the video as a disclaimer, and this video is not sponsored. I really just love the defining cream and since they came out with a full line of the hair, I just really had to try it out and give you guys my honest and unbiased opinion since putting in all the product. This morning I actually have been sitting in these clips and drying my hair for the remainder of the day. I do an office job, so I sit at a desk from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. so all day. I was sitting like this and I thought I'm just gon na wait to film to show you the scrunch out the crunch. So right now I just have that early-2000s wet look right now and all of my curls, as you can see, are just really stiff with the hold of the mousse in it. So I just wanted to show you what it looks like fully dried, fully crispy with Andi clips in it right before I scratch out the crunch. Okay. So now I'm just going to ever so gently pull these clips out. A lot of these hairs will start to move as throughout the day, you'll get tiny hairs that will go in front of the clip kind of like this it'll sit on top. Even some tinier ones will get stuck in the little hinge part of it. So just be careful not to pull any hairs out if you find it pulling stop immediately, trying to find the hair move it around and then slowly pull it out, because you don't want any breakage in your hair and just be as gentle as possible. Okay! So now my hair is just hard just very the cast on. It is very intense. I really like that about the Moose in this. It really gives a hard hold. I did have a little bit of an issue this morning for some odd reason. It'S never happened before, but when I push it down, nothing was coming out and it didn't look like it was broken or anything like that. I was shaking it up and then all of a sudden it just all came out. So I had a big old handful of moose and I usually don't do it all at once. Okay, so I'm gon na take off my rings. I always do this before I scratch out the crunch cuz. I don't want any of my rings to get stuck in. My hair, so now I'm just going to scrunch it out, and I just do this and I'll kind of hold it. So I can so the top doesn't sort of get away from me and just do little pulses kind of like as if you were putting in product, I think ever so gently but kind of rigorous and then on this side. Okay and then I'm gon na. Have it flip all the way over and then I kind of play with my roots just a little bit to break up the cast, that's formed on the top and then over on this side. I don't tend to put product too close to my scalp, as it does weigh it down. Overall, I think the cast is out, so my wave is turned really open, like they're very like this one. It is kind of broken they're not really together, and I would just like to say to if it looks a little on and on even I haven't had a haircut in a really long time. I cut it pixie a while back and I've just been growing it out ever since, so it's just kind of doing its own thing. So let's talk about the products. A lot of its products contain protein. I do want to talk about whether it's good or bad for you, so on the curly curl site, it says proteins. These ingredients are proteins that can either avoid or look for, depending on your hair type. Some is good for the hair diet, especially damaged hair. However, normal hair or protein sensitive hair could begin to feel stiff, frizzy and dry, indicating your hair's getting too much protein. So in case you hear me saying protein a lot. That is what I'm indicating for whether you're looking for whether you're not so the first product that I use is the curl care shave, it's gently cleansing and hydrating for enhanced curl retention with rice, crow complex for all curl types for all these products. I went through and found the ingredients copy and pasted it into. Is it CG comm? Is it curly, girl friendly, and it tells me the ingredients? I will link this down below, for it's very, very helpful if you're wondering if something is curly but friendly, it for work for your hair and just it'll, give you all the ingredients and what it means, what those out gradients actually mean. So for the shampoo, it is curly girl friendly, it does have proteins in it and it does have Polly quartz in it, which is does it is approved, but it's with the cautions so Polly quartz could cause buildup on finer, thinner, hair, which it does for me Because I have to do a clarifying wash to wash off the build-up of my hair, it does the products and everything build up with my hair very very easily. So I do use shampoos more often than not just because I have to get the build up out of my hair to put on a new layer, so my hair doesn't get way down very easily the only thing it's weird about this, it's weird because it doesn't Happen any of the other ones the staining on it just to be the print to speed, staining pink a little bit like it's coming down just a little bit pink on the writing in the text. There'S nothing against it. It doesn't bleed on my hands. Nothing like that, it's just kind of weird that it does that next up is the conditioner. This is the three-in-one conditioner, a leave-in rinse out or co-wash for frizz free moisturizer curls with a rice, curl complex for all curl types. I believe these are all the rice curl complex, except for the mousse. They all have that rice curl in them for the conditioner on. Is it curly, real calm? It is approved and it does have proteins in them. So, if that's something that your hair can't take, if your hair's protein sensitive something to look out for so the shampooing Edition air, both have proteins in them and the conditioner has moisturizing alcohols, which you want to look for in a curly girls to keep your hair. Moisturized all over, so I did use this as a overall conditioner. I, like I do my regular routine. I put this in my hair to detangle and sort of put up and sit in my hair, while I'm doing my other he washes and because I wanted to stick with a full curl talk line. I did not use my kinky curly knot today. That is my go-to leave him because it is so light, so I did use this as a leave-in. So when I did my full cleanse up my ignition ur and stuff fully out like I always do, and then I put a new thin layer of conditioner over my hair because I don't want it to weigh down, I do have very low porosity hair, so the Stuff stays on top of my hair, so I really didn't want to pack anymore on there, so I wash everything out and just put a thin layer of leave-in of this conditioner on my hair, as I'm used to the kinky curly, if you're familiar with it, it Is a very thin conditioner, it's not thick like a regular conditioner. This one is thick like a like a thick conditioner. It really is moisturizing and it was hard for me to think that my hair wasn't gon na get way down. I don't feel like it really did. I am loving the results of this. I feel like they're a little more wavy and they're, not as curl defined, so maybe it is a little heavy as a leave-in for my hair type for my low porosity hair, I do like the fact that this conditioner is multi-purpose. The fact that they want to use it as a co-wash and a regular conditioner and 11 for my purposes. I think i will only use it as a rinse out regular conditioner and then a co-wash conditioner. I do like the consistency of it, but it's a little thick for my hair and I feel like this weighs it down just a little bit too much. I do like the conditioner. I wish this came in a different pump, though that is the only thing about this when you squirt it, it takes like 30 seconds to a minute for it to fully come back up. I think, because the consistency of the product is so thick, the actual pump can't contain you can like soak up enough product again. That'S the only thing I have to like. I have to do a couple pumps. I have a lot of hair and if you have even more hair than me, I can't imagine how long it would take you to just pump weight and then pump. If you do like half pumps you get like barely any out. So that is the only thing about this bottle, but I'm not the happiest twist. I love the fact that it's not a squeeze tube, but if it was something like this, where I could just like pour out, I would love that even more. Do you like to pump, but I think if it would be a pump, it would be a lot I wish it was bigger, so I can actually suck up more product you wore out with just one pump. Those are just little nitty-gritty things. Next up is the defining cream. It locks in moisture D, frizz and add shine to define your true curls with rice, curl complex for all curl types. I just looked this up on. Is it curly girl con and I'm a little sad to see that it's not curly girl approved? The thing that is not curly girl approved are the waxes and oils to avoid which is C 13 to 14. I so paraffin, I believe it says these ingredients are waxes or not natural oils. That should be avoided. Of course, I'm not full curl eco-friendly, but I do want to advertise what is color girl friendly and what is not? I'M not fully on the bandwagon. I'M not fully off of the bandwagon. I love the fact that it's more natural, but because it does have that ingredient in here it is not fully curly girl friendly. This also contains proteins, which are great if you can handle them with your hair. This curl cream is amazing whether it's curly girl friendly or not. I really love the fact that it feels so well in my hair. It feels moisturized that doesn't feel too heavy even on days when I don't use mousse. I still feel like I get this flowy kind of beachy waved and I absolutely love this curl cream. It'S very light. It'S very moisturizing. It blends in really nice with the hair, meaning when I'm putting it in it just kind of scrunches in nicely it doesn't feel sticky doesn't feel tacky. It doesn't pull my hair. I love it overall. I will keep using this. It will be my go-to and it's very, very inexpensive. This whole line is so inexpensive. I just have to say that next up is the mousse. This is the curl activating loose, lasting shine and definition humidity, protection for frizz-free curls soft touchable whole for all curl types on a scale of one to five, five being the hardest hold. It isn't too so for the mousse on. Is it curly girl, calm? It is not curly girl approved. There are silicones in here the amo dimethicone, which is a silicone to avoid in the mousse. It does have poly clots. These are used with caution. Poly clots can cause buildup on finer, thinner, hair and then also to approve with cost. He bucked ins, which help keep moisture and balance in the hair and skin humectants will search for moisture in her hair too. Therefore, in areas where it may be hot but dry, these products may actually do more bad than good in the right condition. You macness our materials using product products to moisturize dry or damaged hair, so it may cause frizz. It may not. For me, I love it. It really just holds in that curl and just works, because my hair is so low porosity. I love having a mousse to hold in the curls until they're fully dry because it does take a while. I did my hair at 7 a.m. and I probably wasn't dry until 11:00 or noontime. Honestly, that's how low porosity my hair is. So today's wash was absolutely great. I really liked all of the product the full line. I'Ve never used just the full line together without anything else. I really liked it the shampoo, I will definitely be using again. I won't use it as often, but I do like the consistency of it. I do like you, can get a nice full foam, it doesn't strip, the hair doesn't feel drying afterwards, so that is a plus the conditioner. Like I said, I will use it as a writing addition, err to wash off completely or I will use it as a co-wash. Using it's a leave-in is a little bit heavy for me. I do feel like it's a little bit thick, so I probably won't use it as a leave-in. The defining cream will be my go to back up everything. It'S I love the defining cream. It feels so great in my hair love it the mousse also. I will be keeping on hand I do like the mousse. I do like the way it gives me that hard hold to give me the scrunch out the crunch overall out of the four products to are completely curly girlfriend, which is the shampoo and the conditioner, the defining cream and the mousse have a little bit of work To do but other than that, if you like this line, I believe you should try it out. Everything was around six to ten dollars per item. It really wasn't that expensive and I'm sure you can find a good buy one get one half off at Ulta CVS. They always have those going on. Jessy lynn: So happy to have stumbled upon your channel! I also have low porosity high density very thick hair. I have been trying to learn how to embrace my natural waves but have struggled emenssley because I could not find someone with hair anywhere similar to mine to try to learn how to care for my hair. I am excited to dive deeper into my natural hair journey! Thank you!

Daisy Duncan: Thank you so much for this video! I started out on your low porosity video and realized that's why I've been struggling with mine for so long, and I think our hair types are really similar too so I'm so happy I found your channel! My hair takes foreverrrrrr to dry and a lot of other things really resonated with me. But my hair is strange because it's half low porosity and then some of it is really high porosity so I'll figure that out somehow haha. I was thinking of going and buying this line and I'm so glad I watched this video before I did, I'm thinking about getting the curl defining cream even though it's not 100% cg because it sounds like what I've been looking for. Do you think you could do an Aussie miracle curls review?

Cassandra Hollander: Love your videos! I’m having a hard time deciding on what products to go with. My hair is very similar to yours and I’m not necessarily looking for all curl products like shampoo and conditioner, I do use divacurl to get my curls. I’m torn between shea moisture and not your mothers

Jennifer Halstead: You are a rockstar. Every time I get my haircut I’m told that I have naturally wavy/curly hair. But I never knew what to do so I would always dry it straight. It always looks said and stringy. For the last three weeks after watching your video I have been blown away! Your hair is very similar to mine in color weight and texture so I felt like this is the best video to watch in relation to how my hair would perform. Let me just say OMG! I grabbed the starter kit from Ulta, which has the cream the moose and the styling gel. I haven’t moved on to the other products yet because I wanted to just give it a try. I think I’m ready to evolve! Great work, love your videos. I can’t believe I’m in my mid-40s and I am suddenly and embracing my curls!

Briana Grim: I just picked up the defining cream tonight, I’m excited to try it! The NYM Tahitian gardenia shampoo has the same problem with the pump and it makes me crazy

Molly Fitz Brown: Thanks for the review! I have the gel but want to try some of the shampoo and conditioner & cream now too :)

Jenalee Amundsen: i have low porosity too and this video was honestly really helpful

Bb Dd: Silicone has been removed from the mousse ☺️☺️

Being Sammy: Thank you for visiting my channel. I don’t have curly hair but I’ve always been interested how curly hair should be maintained and styled.

The Simple Joys: Thanks for Sharing..the mousse looked like it worked well after you scrunched it .. Have a great weekend !

Melissa Johnson: Thank you for doing the homework for us!

EverythingAna: I love not your mothers everything lol!

itsme daisy: "ever so gently but rigorous" haha that made me laugh

Bb Dd: Dang.. my hair drys in 5 minutes 8 minutes max

Susan Watson / emzadia: You wore your clips at the office?? Thanks for doing this review!

Becky Walker: Really good

Star 123: Terrific video
