Trying The Amika Double Agent 2-In-1 Straightening Blow Dryer Brush On Curly Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new here, i'm jalessa today, i'm going to be trying a very requested hair tool. Today, i'm going to try the new amika double agent twin one blow dryer and straightening brush. So this is supposed to blow out your hair and straighten it like what what is this? I am not a big fan of paddle brushes for blowing out my hair, but i've heard really good things about this one. So, let's try it and i'm just looking forward to being able to use the same hair tool to blow out my hair and get a nice sleek look. So let's try so i used in the shower the amica, the cure, shampoo and conditioner. You know i'm always like trying new things trying new products, but wow amica has amazing hair products, so i'm going to be using some other stuff today. I also used this mask in the shower and this left my hair so smooth and ready to blow out. I am very excited to blot my hair today, i'm going to show you guys what my hair is looking like so yeah, it looks very, very moisturized and i'm actually going to use another amica product. So i have two here that i want to use. I don't know if i should use them both now, but this is the wizard. This is a detangling primer and then this is the brooklyn bombshell and this one is a blob spray. So i think i can kind of combine these two and use them both. So so we're just gon na use it and i'm gon na spray a little bit of both wow. I love how this just sprays, everything so evenly. I'M gon na use the bombshell spray. This is supposed to protect your hair from the heat and help you have a nice frizz, free, blowout, so yeah, i think, prepping your hair before your blowout is so important. It'S essential, and if you want a nice blowout, you need to prep your hair. It really does make a big difference, so i'm going to link those products down below if you guys want to check them out. So i'm just parting, my hair, i'm gon na divide the front section. So this little bit, i'm gon na put up i'm gon na. Just work my way up, so i'm gon na kind of divide each section into two sections by the way if you're liking my youtube channel, please subscribe we're almost at 100k and i would love to make it there. So please guys subscribe. So, let's open this up. So the only thing that comes in the box is the blow dryer itself. As you can see, this is very, very big and i don't know how this is going to give me a blowout. So i don't know we'll see how this works so right here you have a couple of different like icons, i guess one is like a fan. Another one is a stronger fan and another one is like three little waves. So i have no idea what that means. So i need to check if it says it here in the instructions which i don't really see it. So that's kind of scary to me because imagine if i use the heated brush setting on accident and then i use it like on my wet hair, like that's, not good. So honestly, though, if i turn this on, i feel like i would be able to tell which one is the drying one and which one's the straightening one. So let's turn this on and see what happens so. The first setting is the drying one. I can definitely feel the hot air coming out. So that's nice, let's see what's the next one. Oh, this is a higher heat setting for the drying heat setting, nice and then the last one is just the heated brush, wow yeah. I can definitely feel it getting warm so, okay, we figured it out, so i'm just gon na put it in the high speed setting and let's do the first section and see what happens. Okay, it's drying my hair, the high heat setting definitely feels pretty high. I don't think we need a higher heat setting than this. I just feel like it's pulling my hair a little bit but we'll see yeah, it's definitely drying my hair, which is nice on my hair, okay, so okay, so i definitely like how straight this looks. Um. I feel like the ends, just look a little bit too straight for me, but all paddle brushes give me that straight. Look at the ends, so that's not something that i feel like. I can really change or really do anything about it, but i think the dryer itself is very powerful and it really did dry my hair very quickly. It definitely did put my hair and i feel like the main thing that pulled my hair. Was these bristles in here? They just look very rough when i use heater brushes like this, it's not the most gentle thing for my curly hair, so i feel like this would work very well on someone with more like wavy hair, maybe even like more straight hair. I'M going to try the heated brush setting now on this section, so i'm going to turn it on. So it's on it's not loud or anything because it's just the heated brush setting. This is a very nice hair tool for traveling because you just need one hair tool and you can blow your hair and get a nice sleek. Look with it, so it's going to definitely save up some space in your bag, but i don't know this is definitely not that gentle just do a couple of very slow passes, but yeah look at that. It looks very very straight: it's not bad! It'S really not bad. I feel like once you kind of get the hang of it and kind of learn how to use it in a way that it doesn't really like pull your hair. Then you you should like this. I think so. So i'm going to do this side now. I guess, since it's already out, i'm going to put in the blow drying setting, but i'm going to give it like a minute or two before i actually use it, because right now it's in the hot straightening setting and i just feel like it's going to be Still very hot, like too hot for me to pass it on wet damp hair. So that just worries me that kind of, like scares me a little bit but yeah. I'M gon na put in the high blow drying setting i'll wait a little bit and then i'll put it on my hair. So, okay, so here's a side with just a blowout like with just a blow dryer setting, and then this side has the blow dryer setting and the heated brush setting. So this one definitely looks a little bit more sleek but yeah. I feel like the blow dryer itself is so powerful and it's giving me such a nice sleek blowout very quickly, so i kind of do like this. I just feel like. I need to kind of be a little bit more careful with this pulling my hair, so maybe i need to detangle my hair more. Maybe i need to kind of be a little bit slower, but so far i really like how my hair is turning out. So i'm gon na do all my hair and i'll give you guys my honest opinion. I'M actually gon na blow it out first and show you guys what that looks like and then i'll use the straightening feature so i'll be right back. So so, okay guys. So i am done blowing up my hair. I don't really like the final look that much i feel like my ends are just kind of like straight and they look very unhealthy and when i blow out my hair with other hair tools that give me like the dyson era, the dyson supersonic, the t3 micro Airbrush duo, dry bar double shot all those round brush blow dryers. Give me a very nice smooth, healthy look, but this one just kind of makes my hair look worse than it could actually looks. I thought i was going to like this a little tiny bit more, but i'm not a huge fan and look at how much it pulled my hair. I mean it really really pulled my hair, so i don't know if i'll use this again. I just don't love how this makes my ends. Look i mean my ends. Just don't look healthy at all and i just got a haircut. My hair is not that unhealthy at the moment it's actually pretty healthy. So those are my thoughts on this blow dryer. What do you guys think? Would you try it? Have you tried it? I have never really been a fan of paddle brushes just because it doesn't make my ends, look good and round brushes do so if they had this exact hair tool, but in a round brush version i feel like. I would really really like it because they would be super nice for traveling. What do you guys think lemon in the comments below um? I even added a little bit of this amika top gloss, shine spray, and i like how it does make my hair look. Pretty shiny but the ends just still look, you know very straight, so i would definitely need another hair tool to kind of fix that so yeah guys. That is it for this video.
