Enjoy Professional Hair Care Review

Hey everyone. I wanted to give y'all my review on the enjoy haircare line, and this line was recently introduced to me about a month ago we had a rep come into our salon and tell us about these products, and so i've been trying a few of them out and You'Ve probably seen this product line in magazines and maybe on tv gretchen from the real housewives of orange county uses these products. So i was kind of intrigued. I wanted to know what the talk was about and they do kind of compare them to pureology now. Keep in mind, this review is not of their entire line. There is just a few products like five or six products that i have tried out of the line, so the products i will be reviewing for you all today are the first two are the shampoo and conditioner the sulfate hydrating conditioner and sulfate hydrating shampoo. I have been using these consistently for probably three weeks and the next product that i have um used going with. It is the enjoy hair mask and i'm excited to tell you all about that and then the enjoy straightener, which is just like a straightening lotion, um gel that you put in your hair before you blow dry and then the enjoy and super hold hairspray. So, let's start with the shampoo and conditioner okay, shampoo and conditioner packaging. What do you guys think? What do you think? I think it could be a lot more exciting and that was the first major kind of bummer like when the guy came into our salon, and he was just talking to. He was talking to me and then the salon i work at the owner and tina. She likes to carry a lot of us factor pureology and then we have tg, which is like a lower end line. So this you know would be like something that you would kind of the mid-range price product. It'S not extremely high-end, it's not you know really low-end. So you know she he was showing us these products, but to be honest, if you owned a salon or if you were in a store and you were buying a product, would this packaging make you want to buy the product not so much? The packaging is what i think they could improve on, but, however, i think this is a new line. So therefore, you know budgeting, unfortunately, is a big part of it. So i'm thinking, maybe if the product really took off, maybe they would invest more in the packaging. I'M not sure, but i do think the packaging really could be better. I just feel like i wouldn't be drawn to it. You know, especially if i was paying like a salon price, whether it be low, end or high end um. Now. The next thing is the smell: these products smell, actually, the ones that i have um, actually smell, really good. Now i know the girl that i work with. She has some that she didn't really care for the smell, the ones that i have smell like peaches. It smells really good, it smells really fruity, but the bad part about the smell, and it's not really a bad part, and i hate to say it's a bad part, but just my opinion, even though it smells like peaches and fruit. It kind of. Has that drugstore. You know how some drugstores seem, whose smell a little. How do i put it? Um like really highly fragranced or like there's almost more fragrance than there is anything else in there. You know what i mean it: almost they smell so good and that's kind of how they lure you in well. These smell really good, but it's not necessarily in an expensive luxurious way. It'S just kind of like like fruity, i don't know, and that's definitely not a bad thing, and i don't want to make it sound bad. It'S just that was just kind of my take on it when i first smelled it. It instantly brought me back to using like herbal essence. It brought me back to like a drugstore, shampoo and conditioner. Now, let's go let's talk about how the shampoo made my hair feel. So you get past the packaging. You know you kind of get used to the smell and i start shampooing and conditioning in the shower. You know how some shampoos and conditioners when you're in the shower will leave your hair um. You know as soon as you rinse it out just super soft. I didn't really feel that while i was in the shower, it didn't feel rough, but it didn't feel amazing. But, however, once i blow dried my hair, i could really tell it made my hair feel nice. It wasn't overly weighed down, but it wasn't. You know super. You know frizzy, it was really really nice, it was soft and hydrated and i was pleasantly surprised so overall, i would say like on a scale of one to five. I would give the these shampoo, like maybe like a 3.5 to 4. I mean it's, it's pretty good um. I might would repurchase it again. You know, but it's not my holy grail. If that makes any sense, i really liked what it did to my hair um, but it wasn't like amazing, but overall it was a good product and it really did surprise me because considering the packaging and everything it it wasn't so bad i was really. I was really impressed so the next product that i want to talk about with that is the enjoy hair mask now this product is meant to be used as like a deep conditioning treatment. You put it on your hair after you've, like rinsed out the excess water, and you leave it on for two to three minutes um, and i will say that this conditioner is really awesome. It did i could. I can always tell a difference. I mean it's definitely a step up from the regular con hydrating conditioner um, it's more um like thick rich and it really softens your hair. When you use this in the shower, you really feel like you've had a conditioning treatment as soon as you rinse it out. Your hair feels instantly just really soft, so i like that. So this is a great product and i would probably repurchase this again, especially just to have as like a hair mask. So it's very good, oh and another thing about the sulfate, free, shampoo and conditioner. By the way i forgot to mention this, it does lather. So that is a good thing. If you are one that likes the shampoo to lather, even though it's sulfate free it lathers. So good deal on that i kind of like a little bit of the lather, so the next product is the enjoy straightener. Now this product, i'm going to tell you, i believe, is my favorite out of the entire line that i've tried. Just because i was so shocked. I think um. This is almost like a gel consistency and it kind of has that same like it reminds me of that. The smell reminds me of this product reminds me of like finesse or something it. It'S a good smell. It'S not bad, but it's just fragrance um, but it kind of is like a gel consistency and it's purple. It'S actually like a purple like gel watery type consistency most products that i have used of that consistency, that is a straightening product, make my hair feel so sticky, and i don't know what it is. But every time this product guys does not do that. I was so surprised by this product. It made my hair feel so soft so smooth, and it really did help to straighten out the frizz. I would say if there was one product that i would definitely repurchase. It would be this one um. It just really blew me away. I'Ve never tried one that was like a gel that didn't make my hair feel stiff or that didn't make it feel like i had a ton of product in it. This product is so awesome and i'll, read to you what it says it says: um, it's a straight: it straightens and controls for coarse or curly hair um. It says feeling soft and smooth works on even the most difficult hair without building up, and that is so true. You don't get that build up feeling that you get for most straightening products. So i love this. You put it in your hair. I probably use like a quarter size um, i have very coarse hair. It tends to be a little on the dry side, so i take it and i run it through my ends and i blow dry and it is awesome. So i love that this is a great product. The last product that i um tried was their hair spray. Now this also smells really good um see it kind of. Has i don't know, i don't really know how to describe the scent, but it does smell good. It'S just, it does remind me, like i said, of a drugstore smell, it's not bad, but it is really fragrant um, unlike a lot of other higher end hairsprays, that i've tried and this particular hairspray is a super hold. So it's got a very strong hold to it um, and it is good for when you really want you know to keep it in place. The only thing i don't like is it: if you use too much of it, you can get a little crunchy, but if you just use, you know a fair amount and just a little bit and you're kind of careful with it. You'Re, usually fine, but i have overused it before and you can kind of get that crunchy buildup feeling. So i would say be careful about that. But overall i do like the hairspray um, i'm not a huge like i don't use a ton of hairspray. I only use it like if i'm wearing my hair back like today. I probably i spray the front or if i'm curling it i'll, put a little bit of hairspray in it, but i'm not a huge hairspray fanatic, so i do like it um. I don't know. If it's my holy grail, i think i prefer there's um a hair spray by a factor that i think i prefer a little bit better, but i do like this. This wasn't bad um. It has like a it's not dry. Really, it's not a dry hair spray. Like i know like the camera and stuff are a little bit on the dryer side. They dry really quick. This isn't super wet, but it's not super dry either like it's kind of in the middle. So that's really all i have to say about that. I, like it and i'll continue to use it up um. I don't know that i would run out and purchase it. So that is my review on all of my five products that i have been trying out for the last three weeks. My overall opinion on this product is: is it really has some good things? I love the deep conditioner. I love that their products are geared more towards your, the ph balance of your hair and being sulfate free. That was really important, especially with all the keratin treatments out there now and everything um. I really like the straightener. However, i kind of want to try more and they do have a line that is sort of more. I guess organic that's supposed to be similar to like pureology and stuff, and i want to try that because i feel like i liked it, but i will say um like i said, the packaging is just not that great and then not only that some of it Was not necessarily enough to keep me coming, you know out. The shampoo conditioner was good, but i would like to try something else because it was good, but it wasn't awesome. You know what i mean so overall, i am impressed by this line. I think if they could tweak a few things, they would have a really awesome line. I think if they would tweak their packaging, maybe and then maybe even the smell of it - maybe tone it down just a little bit so that it's not so fragrant um, because that could almost be annoying to some people but um other than that. I do really like it um and, like i said, the the smell is, is so weird because, like s factor their products smell very fruity, but it's different and i can't really describe it, but it doesn't remind you of like herbal essence fruity it's more of like. I don't know like a higher end, luxurious fruity, if that makes any sense at all, but i don't know this just. I guess this reminds me of like maybe something that i've smelled in the drugstore and that's why it makes me think of that, like finesse or herbal essence, or something like that of that nature. But um i do i like it and i would i would recommend you know, maybe trying it out, but just start small, maybe try the shampoo and conditioner first, you know before you run out and get the whole line because there's good and bad in it.
