You tube hair extensions are specifically created for fusion applications. By creating your own, you tips, you can take advantage of the diverse color options, curl patterns and lengths that may not be available already in you tip form. Also by using you tip extensions for your fusion application. You'Re going to speed up that application time, so this is how they're made you're going to take your vault care, or in this case your I tip, hair, add your fusion adhesive and then you are going to take your u-shaped pliers set your tip in there and Then close down your pliers you're going to hold it until it cools just a bit and then you're going to pull that off and you'll have a perfect u-shape tip. Now you want to leave a little bit of the hair sticking out the top to make sure that you have a good, solid bond, so we're just going to take some shears and snip off the tip and any excess glue that we don't want on. Our sides continue creating these. You tips until you have enough for a full installation.

Doctored Locks: Awww, thanks! We have U-tip and Flat-tip pliers in stock. :) They are awesome! You can save so much moolah making the tips yourself. It’s crazy how much fusion tipped hair can cost!

Doctored Locks: Yes, fusion adhesives should be keratin based. :) And always have extra on hand! You don’t want to get halfway through your new look!

Yari desantos: You saved my life. I order everything i need to start making my own! Ill be offering these to my clients. They seem to love them instead of I-Tips from feedback I can say that U-tips or Flat-Tips stay in the longest because they hug the hair :) Thanks!!

Doctored Locks: You can find them on our website. They are pretty inexpensive and will leave the right amount of adhesive on the tips and the right shape.

Phoenix Airbender: Great video :) Now I have a question that may seem bizarre but here goes ~ I just bought a wig that supposedly I can curl with an iron so my question is this...can I create U tip extensions from this wig and have them attached as usual to my hair with the keratin glue?

Doctored Locks: Just go with a brand you trust to not break down when its in the hair and COME OUT when you are ready to take them out! :) Remember, you can buy hot glue at the craft store too, but I wouldn’t put it in my hair!

Doctored Locks: Yes, absolutely! If its not on a weft, that takes one more step out of it. :)

Dragonlord200983: I'm searching for this kind of video for now over 4 months.. THANK YOU SO MUCH.. subbed!! :)

Natasha Smith: Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Doctored Locks: Crazy! I want to see! Send us a pic. Did the shape come out okay? Seems it would be easier with shaping pliers but I’m super interested to see yours!

Doctored Locks: That really depends on how many tips you are making, but I would suspect between 4 and 6.

Doctored Locks: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed! :)

Doctored Locks: Oh my gosh! Yeah, use an adhesive that is made for hair extensions so you can actually get it OUT of your hair!! I can’t imagine using hot glue! That sounds so painful!!

Darliiing: Hi, i have a question. Is that a 'glue gun' you are using? Or is it something more special than that? :)

Doctored Locks: That really depends on how big your bonds are, but to be safe, you can get 25 tips out of one stick.

Doctored Locks: Please use an adhesive that is made for hair extensions so you can actually get it OUT of your hair!! Hot glue will most likely cause a lot of damage and be very painful to take out!

Princess*skinny*Jeans: Yeah that help a lot thank you!

Princess*skinny*Jeans: What if your using it for micro links? Does the glue gun work or will Keratin work better. Will the keratin break down faster because its designed for fusion?

Karen Snow: i went to your website, where can i find the u shaped pliers? thank you!

Doctored Locks: Thanks for watching! :)

Doctored Locks: You are very very welcome! :)

A Jones: Thank You!!

beautifullyCHOSEN90: Can I just used regular hair with no weft ? Then add the glue

Jeana Rae: can you do this to dreads?

Luci Llain: how many glue sticks do i need?

Christina Coulter: what is the adhesive you use? can I just use Keratin beads amd melt them on.. will those adhere to my hair well?

vdk8skc: I have a question that I have been looking ever were for and can't seem to find an answer. So I use to order pre-tip dreads from a company but they have been out of stock for a while. I made my own, about the size of a pencil, maby a little bigger but I'm having an issue with the bonding part... I find bonding them after if just not turning out.. the bonds are big and bulky. The one I ordered before were nail tiped bonded and great. So my question is should I Tip my hair before I dread or after? and they are synthetic.

Doctored Locks: Thanks!

Doctored Locks: Thanks!

Luci Llain: for a full head of fusions. so for about 200 how many glue sticks do i need? any one answer, thanks!
