Let'S see if i can do something with this hair, that's happening right now. Today, i'm going to be comparing the new dyson soft smoothing brush versus the revlon one step, volumizer styling brush they're going head to head. So basically, what i'm gon na do is put the dyson on my left side and put the revlon on my right side and we're just gon na go ahead dry, my hair and style it as i would with either one of the tools. I am really excited for this video because so many of you have asked to see the comparison. Let me quickly put in some leave-in conditioner and i'm going to use the rioja resarco milk. I like it it's one of my favorites. It'S lightweight, oh just spray, that right in my eye and my hair is damp when i first tested out the revlon, so many people we're complaining that it was not wet enough. I don't style or dry my hair when it's super wet or damp. I style it when it's at least 60 dry, just because i don't want to put that much heat on my hair, so i will link this below when i first tested this bad boy out. I was very impressed with it. This one is my second or third one already. I have two of them right here and then this right here is the dyson airwrap styler today we're gon na be solely focusing on the smooth, smoothing brush and there's another brush. This is the firm smoothing brush which this one is targeted more for, if you want that straighter more of a sleeker look, it creates a little bit less frizz versus this. One gives you more of like a soft blowout which, in my opinion, so does the revlon. So, let's put them head to head. I have been playing around with this one, a lot just to kind of see how i like it. Let'S begin all right, so i'm gon na do this on the lowest setting with the airflow and the heat just because they only have three options: they have cool low and high, and the highest heat setting is way too hot. It really burns my scalp and then even my neck, sometimes, and it's just not as healthy for the hair, with the dyson i'm doing the highest airflow, but the lowest heat setting, not the cool but the lowest heat setting. So they have also three options: the cool low and high. The first thing i want to say the biggest difference when testing these head to head, or even before i started testing with the revlon brush. You can get to your roots, but it's a little bit harder. Just because the brush is so big, you can get to your roots, but when i started using the dyson, you can really really get into your roots and kind of just sit there and really maneuver the brush around around your roots, get them nice and dry. And i think that's the biggest difference so far and plus the different bristles with the revlon. You have two different bristles, you have the nylon and then you have the boar bristles, which is two bristles and one brush, which is really great, but it does result in a lot of tugging in the hair. With my first revlon, you can see how much hair you get with a couple of uses when i don't clean it. Even with this, you can see a lot of hair getting stuck because of the boar bristles, but with the dyson there is no hair. The way the air comes out of this brush is when you go with the brush down. The air goes down with the hair. Does that make sense? But if you go up, the hair will go up because these little bristles they move just very slight, but they move and that's where the air comes out with the revlon. It just comes out of everywhere with the holes as you guys can see the perforated holes. That'S what the air comes out of and regarding what dries faster. Obviously the dyson, just because you have a lot more airflow coming through, so that's resulting with a lot less drying time versus the revlon, even though they're both on the lowest heat setting, the revlon does slow down a lot with the airflow as well. So that kind of results with a little bit more air drying time and we did test them. We have this little seek thermal camera that you can place on your phone. The revlon roughly comes at around 180 degrees fahrenheit and the dyson 140 degrees fahrenheit on both of the low heat settings. So, let's just move on and quickly do this when styling with this revlon brush, because i wanted to sit in the middle i'm going to take each section of the hair and kind of pick it up towards the back. Instead of going to the side and then flip it to the other side, kind of going towards the left, giving it more volume, but always keeping the hair kind of lifted towards the top and then once i know it's almost dry, i kind of bring it back Down and just style and give it a little swoop all right. Let'S talk about it, which side do you guys, like better, a or b revlon dyson, so looking at both sides, i think they're both smooth and they both have a good amount of volume that i want the revlon side. As you can see, it's a little bit more volumized and more separated towards the bottom. A lot more layers are showing through they're peeking through it's not as smooth towards the bottom versus the dyson. My hair looks a little bit more fuller. It looks a little bit more smoother and a little bit more sleeker. I think my hair towards the top looks really good on both sides. It'S not as frizzy at the top. I think it's a little bit more smoother and more sleeker on the dyson side versus the revlon, just because you do have the different bristles in play. Let'S talk about the cons and pros for both, so the pro for the revlon is the price. The price is phenomenal: it's very budget friendly. I believe i bought this for like 55 in target and amazon, and a lot of the times also will have a sale target, will have a sale and amazon as well. So keep a look out for that. I bought my mom one. I think my sister karina has, i think, one or two. My older sister also has one a lot of my family and friends. Have this revlon tool and they all love it. The only thing i know a lot of people say and myself is because it does have the boar bristles, the hair can get stuck and it can rip out your hair. Let me quickly show you my original one. I haven't cleaned this one out. I don't remember the last time i cleaned this and i haven't used this one in a long time, but i wanted to show you guys what it looks like if you don't clean it. After maybe like four to five uses, it does pull out quite a bit of hair. I try not to let my revlon brush get that much hair in this. So i clean it quite often so i'll just take my finger with my nails and just take the hair out like this takes me like maybe a couple of minutes. If i want to be really precise, but it's very easy to clean - and i do try to clean it after every single use when i do use it, but you do get quite a bit of hair that comes out. I am prone to shedding because i do have blonde hair and i do color it quite often, so i am prone to a little bit breakage and a little bit of shedding it's just the type of hair that i have and, as you can see, i have A lot of baby hairs, it's a lot of new growth coming out, but with the dyson, because the brush is designed the way it is, and it only has the one type of bristles, which is, i think, the nylon it keeps it nice and separated, and it Smooths, it really nicely so in regards to comfortability. I do like both of them just because they're, both very sleek and they're, comfortable to hold onto and you can still hold on to the brush at the top. It'S not hot or anything. But the only thing i found in terms of comfort and functionality with the handles is with the dyson all of your functions, or your options are right here where you hold, if you do hold it up at the top, you can obviously hold at the bottom, which I think they prefer, but sometimes i find myself holding it at the top and i find myself turning it off or i play around with the settings accidentally. So that is the biggest flaw that i found so far, but it is only if you hold your brush at the top moving on to which one is the fastest. I already talked about this. The dyson is a lot by far faster drying than the revlon, just because you have the different airflow settings with the heat, so i did the highest airflow with the lowest heat setting, so that resulted with a lot less air drying time versus the revlon. Like i said, there's only three options and with the airflow, if you do the lowest heat setting, the airflow is a lot less so, like i said, the revlon kind of misses with that one. It kind of takes a little bit longer to dry. Let'S talk about the safety regarding the heat settings with the revlon, it does have three options: the cool low and high. I always stick to the lowest heat setting just because the highest heat setting is so hot. I love that the dyson has the technology integrated within the tool, so it wouldn't get hot above a certain temperature with the revlon. I honestly have no idea. They obviously don't have any feedback loops regarding the temperature. So you don't know how hot or low it can get so starting off with the revlon we held it for at least five minutes, both of them and after five minutes it was running around a little bit over 240 degrees fahrenheit with a dyson. It was roughly around 210 to 12 degrees fahrenheit, so obviously the dyson is a lot less damaging on the hair. Regarding the temperature, it's always going to be more stable. So let's talk about how loud they are at each different airflow setting or the heat setting for the revlon. So my mic is right here, hello, so i'm going to turn the lowest heat setting. So it's not so loud! It'S comfortable! It'S nice! Let'S turn on the dyson with the lowest airflow, so, let's turn on. They don't have a medium setting solution on the highest and then with the dyson. They have a medium air shot and then they have the highest. So let's turn on the medium and then this is their highest, not that much of a difference. So andre is looking at the db level on the camera to see the noise level and then dyson is a little bit less on the highest compared to the revlon. So it is a little bit less loud so which one would i recommend i think they're both great. If you are on a budget and you only want a volumizer styler that will dry and style your hair at once, definitely get yourself a revlon. You will not be disappointed. You can't go wrong with this, so many people bought this and they can't say enough good things about it. It is amazing and it's an incredible tool, especially if you have shorter hair and you don't like using a blow dryer and then an extra brush to style your hair. This is an amazing option, but if you are in the market for more versatility and more options and more technology, the dyson it takes the cake, it is an incredible product. There is nothing like this on the market, don't recommend it! Yes, if you are in the market for this type of tool or product, it is very, very pricey, but in my opinion it's definitely worth it. But so is this, so you can't really go wrong with either one depending what kind of budget you have. So that completes the one-to-one brush head-on battle, which one did better and i love them both. Let me know which one you guys liked better, which one you guys have and why you love it, but for now, thank you so much for watching spending. Time with me and i'll see you in the next one bye, you

Milabu: If you're in the market for the Dyson Airwrap, it's now IN STOCK at Nordstrom but won't last long: http://bit.ly/2ToKU71

FashionByAlly: Hair Queen! I just discovered your channel and I love your reviews and tutorials!

KianteWench: Definitely not a $500 difference. I have the Revlon and it is amazing... (after watching your review. THANK YOU). It took my usual blowdry and straighten routine from an hour to 20 minutes. It's so helpful. My mom got one too!

Sherri Hunt: Having thin, fine hair I just can’t handle losing that much hair as with the Revlon styler. Maybe that’s why it’s so cheap! Granted the Dyson is overpriced but I’d rather use a tool that is clearly easier on my fine hair. Great review!

Katie J.: Honestly, I like the Revlon side better. I think the Revlon looks more like a salon blowout. I feel like it's less fussy, as well. The brush does almost all the work for you. With the Dyson, you have to work more to get the movement in the hair that comes with the Revlon's rounder shape. It's a round brush and blow dryer in one and it makes styling a blowout a no-brainer.

C CS: I bought the Revlon a few weeks ago after seeing your review. I also bought the John Freida air brush to go along with the Revlon because the Revlon has such a large brush, I needed something smaller for waves and curls. Really like the Revlon but it gets hot, hot! Using the 2 together was a pain but I was able to get the style I wanted...sort of. Then the Dyson came along. I just received mine on Fri and have been playing around with it. I went back and forth all weekend wondering which one I should keep...based solely on guilt because of the price! If it wasn't because of the price difference, I'd keep the Dyson, hands down, no guilt. BUT, because the Dyson has many other attachments AND the temperature has less heat, I packed up my Revlon and John Frieda today to give to a friend, or maybe even return. Yes, the Dyson is pricey but my main objective with my hair is to try to keep it as healthy as possible. I still like to get my hair colored (although not as much as I used to and now get no bleach ever) but I've seen a serious decline in hair health over the years because of my dryer and flat iron or curler use. Def an investment but the shine I get from the Dyson and knowing that it doesn't get as hot as other stylers, I think it's worth it. Thanks for this video. It's helped with the guilt of buying such a crazy expensive hair tool. :)

BagznBirdz: A well made and comprehensive comparison! I was wondering about the Dyson and really, I don't see how there can be a 500 dollar difference justified between the 2. I'm growing out my hair from short to about your hair length and will be getting the Revlon to guarantee some good hair days!

I'dlovetobutmydogsaidno: Thank you for comparing these products with us! I already have the Revlon dryer and I love it. Seeing how the Dyson is not much better, I will continue to use my Revlon dryer. And yes, it was worth the price.

Monkeh Bunnes: I bought the Revlon after seeing your original review, and I love it. I had a mid length bob and I would blow dry my roots/bangs with a concentrator, then use the Revlon to dry and style the rest, which cut down the time by a lot. I found if I used it on high it made my hair frizzy, but using it in low and then going through all over with the cool setting made it so smooth and shiny, and it would keep the shape for days. I'm actually a little sad that I can't use it with my pixie cut now! They should make a smaller barrel one.

Katrina Uy: I freaking LOVE the revlon one. I got it on sale at ULTA and it is such a game changer!! I usually get my hair cut with layers but never know how to style it, but this makes it soooo easy and i always get so many compliments on my hair now too

Tiff De: I bought the revlon one after I saw you try it out and I absolutely love it!! I have never been able to coordinate my hands to round brush my hair and this one is so easy! Thank you ❤️

Brittany: I have to say, I specifically went out and bought the Revlon one based on your previous review and i LOVE it.  Now, it's a little tricky to use when you have long hair like I do, but it does make my hair have so much volume! Not to mention it's way affordable.

Karen N: Great video, Milabu. I have both tools. I’ve used the Revlon for about six months only on low heat as it does fry my hair when it’s on high. As you said, it’s more awkward to use in the root area because of the bristles. I do lose some hair with this tool, which makes me cringe. I’ve had the Dyson Volume Airwrap for two weeks. No contest. My hair is much shinier and healthier using it. There’s a learning curve in using it, but my hair is sooo soft and silky and just healthier feeling. The price of the Revlon is way more attractive, obviously, and it’s an ok tool, but my hair health is much better with the Dyson.

GhostieGirl: i found my revlon brand new at the thrift store unopened with the clear sticker still sealing the box and the twistie tie still on the cord and totally unused for $3...yep three dollars. I was so excited because i had been wanting one since u did ur first review video for it last winter and i absolutely love it!!!

Fauzia Amanpour: I have very curly hair ( type 3a, very frizzy) and I have used both. The Dyson went back. The Revlon is truly an amazing tool. I thought the Dyson might be life changing because I figured I can use the Coanda curlers to smooth my hair at a nice low temp then just iron the roots. Well I didn't like the texture it left my hair with. As far as the brush attachment which came with mine...that just didn't work in my hair at all. Just a frizzy mess. So I sent back the Dyson to QVC and bought the Revlon soon after. Of course, my mind was BLOWN and so was my hair Lol. I will have to get one for backup. I just wish the Revlon was smaller so I could get more wave on my ends.

Grace: Thank you for this detailed review. I'm definitely going to be getting the Revlon, sadly the Dyson has a ridiculous price tag! Lol even my weekly mortgage payment doesn't cost that much I don't know what their marketing team were thinking of pricing it at that point for a hair gadget, I'd rather spend it on a beautiful piece of jewellery!

Danielle C: This is one of the videos that helped me decide to purchase the Dyson. FYI from the perspective of someone who has fine curly hair and has tried both- I prefer the Dyson. The Revlon pulls out a LOT of my hair and leaves a lot of areas still very frizzy. If you guys find a coupon for the Dyson ( I got mine on a 5x points week with a 20% off coupon and signed up for the Ulta cc to get an additional 20% off& got double points there too. Plus ebates had 10% cash back) I really do recommend it. My hair looks like a hairdresser styled it and I usually am not great at hair.

Patti 1962: GREAT video! I knew you would help us all out by doing this comparison. The Revlon One Step dryer does such a great job, and with the Dyson being over 10 times the price, to me there is no comparison. The Revlon product is on my list for Santa this year!

pinksunflower09: I bought the Revlon on your recommendation, and I absolutely love it! I’m glad to see it has similar results as the Dyson. I still think I may end up with the Dyson though, all the attachments

Lori Neuenschwander: Thanks for the comparison, I did buy the Revlon last week & it worked great! Lots of volume, I looked like I had a professional blowout done. I did not like finding my long hair in the bristles. I think I’m going to wait for Black Friday & see If Dyson discounts their styler. I’m impressed with Dyson based on your in-depth review. Thanks so much.

Heather Jane: Wonder how they both work on long hair? The Dyson sounds like a vacuum. At that price, I’d expect it to clean my house, too!

BellaRose1978: I bought my Revlon after your review. I LOVE it. I have SUPERRR thick hair the same length as yours and it works great. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it is so much easier just using one product instead of having to use a brush and a blow dryer plus the blowout is so much better and smoother

Morgan Lee Tay: I don’t see a $500 difference , I’ll be buying the Revlon for sure!

Nicole Thomas: Thank you so much for this video! Right after watching, I went and bought the Revlon! BEST. DECISION. EVER! I love it so much. My arms used to get so tired holding a round brush and my hairdryer. This makes my hair so smooth and silky - pretty much salon ready! And it's super quick too. I recommend it to everyone!

Lisa Duncan: I bought my Revlon one step after watching your video about it and my blow dryer hasn't been touched since. I love the volume I get, and I get it quickly! I do think there could be a little more shedding with it, but I also think it just looks worse because it sticks to the Revlon bristles and not the Dyson since it doesn't have the bristles. I do not see a $500 difference. I'll stick with my beloved affordable Revlon. I'm also getting my mom one for Christmas I love it so much!

Leah Segura: I’ve owned the revlon dryer for about 6 months now and it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever owned. It is beyond easy to dry AND style my hair. Highly recommend to anyone.

Grace O'Brien: I have the Revlon and haven’t used the Dyson so I can’t compare. I love the Revlon because it helps me style my chin length - A line cut in a flash. I bought this based off or your recommendation a while back

ilene R: Girl, I bought the Revlon right after the first time you did a video about it on YouTube and I LOVE it. I never bought a product so fast after seeing one clip about it but my intuition told me go for it and I did. So happy I did! Now I’m inspired to do what you did and buy them as gifts for others. Lol. Thanks for the gifting idea

Brie B: I bought that Revlon blow dryer when Milabu did a review on it months ago. It’s been a GAMECHANGER! I couldn’t recommend it more! ❤️

Daffodil Flowers: FINALLY!!! An honest comparison and review that makes sense. Thank you so much for the demo/challenge. The Dyson is not in my budget, but the Revlon tool was when you reviewed it. I have found the your videos are completely honest, which is why I look forward to every video you upload. Thank you ❤️

Kelly Anderson: I have the Revlon after seeing your review. I do love it and I lose hair all the time as I have a lot if it! The Dyson is truly cost prohibitive. There are too many other things in life I would prefer to spend my money. I can confidently say I will NEVER spend over $500 for a hair product! Interesting contrast and comparison though.

Jennifer P: Thank you for your reviews and demo comparisons of the Revlon dryer/volumizer with other similar tools. I decided to purchase the Revlon based on your videos. The limited edition mint / teal blue color of the Revlon is finally available on Amazon so I preordered it today, can’t wait to get it!

JYNaRa2fly: Dyson all the way, biggest disadvantage to me abt the Revlon is the size, I think I'll get tired of using it cuz it's so bulky and it'll tire me out easily. I'm definitely buying the Dyson

latmcb: Thanks so much for doing this review. I have the Hot Shot One Step Oval Dryer & Styler, which is exactly the same as the Revlon. I got it on sale for $49. It works great, but I do wish I could adjust the heat level. The Dyson is undoubtedly a higher quality, more versatile tool. I have a Dyson hair dryer and vacuum cleaner - they are great - but I can't justify the price of this new Dyson tool. I could buy 11 Hot Shots for the price of one Dyson. I will stick with my Hot Shot and put the $550 in my IRA.

Néamh: Had a dyson hairdryer almost blow up on me at work and it’s put me off completely even though the one we had was faulty it still makes me weary. Personally prefer the revlon one especially for my hair I love a big bouncy blow out and always struggle to achieve that with a brush and blow dryer on myself so this would be perfect for me

JP: Wow the Revlon product looks great and actually realistic in terms of me owning it ($500 is so far out of my wheelhouse it’s not even funny)... I think I’m going to ask for this for Christmas!! Thanks so much! ♥️

Claribel Centeno: Best review I’ve watched very well put together I loved it... I agree there both good and I’m glad you acknowledged that others would have said differently because obviously the dyson is much nicer and all fancy but the revlon still also does serve its purpose just as well may take longer but does it’s job right which is the whole purpose of it and the dyson looks to be a lot lighter and lot more afficent in dry time and style time as you already mentioned and don’t have to play with it as much as the revlon but there both just as good quality and that is what you showed in this video well done and thank you for this video I still want to purchase the dyson it really does look so much easier to work with and use....

Rebecca Freidel: I have the revlon and I love it. I use it whenever I dry my hair. I do wish it had more heat and airflow control but still I think it’s great. Could not afford the dyson anyways.

Shayna Wade: I bought the Revlon one after watching your videos. I literally don’t make a single hair purchase without seeing if you’ve done a video on it first . I don’t regret anything I’ve bought based off your recommendations. If I could afford the Dyson, I totally would give it a try. But for now, the Revlon is where is at for me .

hyperlolli: The briogeo Rosarco milk is my FAVORITE! As someone with oily fine hair, it's the only leave in spray that won't leave me greasy. Smells amazing too

Robin Moore: I bought the Revlon after seeing your first review and I love it! The only drawback is how the settings work. I can’t turn it on or off with one hand which is a bit of the pain. I’d never spend that much on the Dyson, though. Stupid expensive.

Nicole Lavigne: Good to see. I’ve been thinking about the Revlon one since you showed it. Dyson is kind of tempting but not in my budget right now. Don’t know if it’s increased sensitivity thanks to my concussion, but I find the Dyson makes a higher pitched sound that is brutal to my ears. Right now I don’t even know if I could tolerate that sound from the dyson long enough to style all my hair.

A LT: I’ve had the Revlon styler for a year now and I love it. I can’t see enough difference between the Revlon and Dyson dryer from this video, certainly not worth $500. I don’t have as much hair left on my styler than what you’re showing in the video.

Sue Montgomery: I have the Revlon contraption. It works fabulously well. I have a chin length graduated bob. The Revlon gives me lots of bounce. I would never pay the Dyson price, too rich for my blood. The only knock against the Revlon is that it is extremely loud on the high setting. Much louder than an blow dryer. I have taken to wearing those foam earplugs when I use it. It really is that loud.

mlr 29: I personally like the Revlon side better. You have a little "cow lick" in the front on the side you used the Dyson. There's also a little more volume on the Revlon side and just a tad bit more straight. I bought my Revlon after watching your review of it and I love it. My hair is about your length and is very thick. I timed how long it takes to dry my hair with it when I first got it and it took 7 mins 39 secs. I'm sure the Dyson works great though. :)

Stephanie Marie: This was an awesome comparison! I just got the Revlon and used it for the first time today and love it! I’m the creator that IG DMed you the other day to tell you about the company using your footage for their generic tool by the way! I hope they’ve taken it down!

Jennifer Hardison: I bought the Revlon one after you reviewed it the first time and it's been a GAME CHANGER. I use it multiple times a week now.

Donna Betty: Very bored now of having the Dyson shoved in my face at every opportunity ( not by you personally). I think it is beyond most people's means. It's all well and good that it is less damaging on the hair but the price is insane.

Nina Dawson: My husband bought me the Revlon for my birthday because of your previous video. Could never afford the dyson but the revlon is still super amazing. Keep doing you mila! Love your vids

Louee Jackson: Milabu, a tail comb works excellently to clean these brushes.... I’ve had a VS Sassoon “Big Hair” for several years (same concept as the Devlin except it rotates) and a tail comb works perfectly

Lindsay: As a hairdresser I don’t believe it’s worth the extra $500. Use a heat protectant like you should be using anyway and save yourself $500.

Kishlette: I like that you did this - the Dyson's obviously prohibitively expensive for many. I do love the Dyson myself - I got the complete package so I can get countless different looks out it. Straight, voluminous, tight curls, loose waves, flicks, beach waves...I'm still finding new things to do as I hold the attachments at different angles and use different products. The finish is lovely. BUT, if all I were using it for is that one smoothing brush attachment every now and again, I totally would get the revlon or stick to a round brush and hairdryer; I wouldn't spend that much on it for one attachment/look. Of course, with the two curling wands, the round brush, smooth brush, firm brush and rough dry attachment, I can see the value...for me at least!

Kim Valles: I bought the Revlon when my hair was just past shoulder length and it was fantastic, but now that I have an above shoulder bob, it's much harder to use because it's so large. I so wish Revlon would bring out a smaller round style brush/dryer- I did not like the John Frieda version. And, there's no way on God's green earth that I'd ever spend that much money on a hair dryer!!

Kirsty Doyle: A really well balanced, researched and thought out review. I love your videos for that x

VesperDolls: I like that even though you're showing the Dyson you're also providing a cheaper alternative for anyone interested in a similar look :) makes me feel like you're one of the YouTubers who understands not everyone can afford Dyson. keep up the great content! :)

A: Lovely video! All the hair stylists at the AVEDA spa I go to hate the DYSON blow dryer and the airwrap. This just validates what they've told me So what affordable blow dryer option could you give you that smoother frizz-free look? Without the use of a flat iron/straightener? Or should I just use a smoothing brush, etc? .

Jennifer Aldana Gutierrez: I had the Revlon one and I loved it!! Obsessed but sadly it broke after only a couple uses, I was heartbroken because it truly worked amazing, way better than my instyler wet 2 dry which says a lot.

Sherry Lindstrom: After your first video review of the Revlon dryer I went out and bought it at my local Target. This dryer literally changed my life.

Carolina L.R.: My husband bought for me the revlon one for my bday because he saw me watching your video with puppy eyes. I love it. I have A LOT OF HAIR and it's thick, and it does wonders. When I used to spend 20 minutes (if not more) of just drying it, now I spend 15 minutes doing both, drying and styling. It's a life changer. The only thing I would love for it to have, is a heat serting... it gets SUPER HOT when using the highest speed. A way to moderate the heat without compromising the speed would be a major upgrade to it. That would be my only con. Other than that... revlon for the win (for me!)

Traysee: I got my revlon for $30 at ulta when they had a sale. I absolutely love it. Only con is it gets way to hot on high.

Haley Hagan: So glad I have seen your videos about the Revlon one! I have thick, long, coarse, curly hair and I have never been able to get smooth, straight hair when blow drying. Love it!! I'm telling everyone about it.

Patricia Holzmann: Thank you for the comparison, but I think the Dyson brush attachment would be a better choice to compare the two. The brush attachment you used has literally pulled down all the volume from the top of your hair. I bought the Dyson, and it makes my hair very shiny and super soft. I never had that result with the Revlon.

Spocklovesgelato: Thank you for your thorough review! I just watched another Dyson review where they plugged it in and tried to use it without looking at the instructions. It was obvious they weren’t using it correctly, and I have no idea how that’s supposed to help me as a consumer. So again, THANK YOU.

Jenny Patel: Love the way she reviews products with so much details!! <3

Kalisha J: I think the Revlon is great for the price but that's the only pro in my eyes. I will always go for less damage so in the long run the dyson wins. Thanks for the comparison.

Veronica Ng: I got the Revlon one and I love the volume it gets, after 17 minutes I get salon blow dry hair. Just wanna say no blow dryer should cost 500+ bucks, just my thought :) I love ur hair, I think u r super cute

Sandy Evans: You do such a GREAT JOB of styling while drying . . . Also, very good explanations "in between" for the differences in each dryer/styler!

Crystal G.: I bought the revlon because of your original review on it. I absolutely love it. It’s a bit bulky and loud, but does the job!

MsHorseymom: It totally depends on budget, and I haven't tried this Dyson airdrop. However, I have had the Dyson hair dryer for years. Ever since it came out. Years later, it is still as good and as strong as it was the day I first used it. It has lasted and lasted. I used to buy Chi or BayBliss which I loved. But, I can tell you I would have gone through a few of them by now. So, maybe the Dyson is pricey, but compare that price to the competitions' dryers times three. So, when I look at it that way, there truly is value and it truly it the better deal.

Michele Caruso: Just recently bought the Revlon, and although I liked it for about 30 minutes after drying my hair, I noticed my hair started to get frizzy and had to use the flat iron to keep it straight. Kinda defeats the purpose. I liked the results of the Dyson better in your video. Maybe I will make the switch. Thanks!

Risa Does Makeup: I discovered the Revlon dryer by watching one of your older videos and I am so in love with it!!! It was game changing for me!

Misha-zee Grant: My mum has the Dyson one and I must admit I cant get a wet-dry style with anything else!!! I honestly feel like I am going to be lost without it when I move out next month. I have thick curly hair and I haven't ever used a tool that was able to dry and straighten my hair at the same time, despite trying many contraptions over the years... however I cannot afford it so am definitely going to try the Revlon

Jess Buckley: I love my Revlon!! 10 minutes and my hair is blown out and styled. ❤️ Thanks for the comparison!

Kirsty Macfarlane: I think your ends looked better on the revlon side, they had more oomph! I've got the babyliss big shot and it's pretty good but I don't use it that often, only if I want bouncy curls

MomHauls: I bought the Helen of Troy (Hot Shot Tools) version of the Revlon dryer at Sallys. I LOVE it but agree it gets extremely hot on the highest setting. I do wish it had seperate heat and airflow settings like the Dyson, but I'm not about to spend $500 to get that feature. It's just not an option for my budget. I still loved seeing this comparison.

Kadijah Michelle Kastriba: I’ve been using Conair’s version forever! It works the same with out the bore bristles.

Frau Flausch: I bought the Revlon because of you and im LOVING it!!!! My hair looks like i came right from an professional Blow out. I cant do my hair with a normal hair dryer and a round brush and this. Omg. it changes all for me. And for drying the roots - i "curl" up the hair and hold the dryer to the roots and let it there for 5 seconds. So it drys the roots better.

LeftHandedAquarius: I have baby fine blonde hair and I’ve found that the Revlon tends to break or pull out my hair. This is even with the right dampness and on the low setting. I’m waiting for my stylist to get to see the Dyson in person to let me know what she thinks about it for my hair.

Debbie M: The amount of hair loss with the Revlon one is a concern for us fine-hair gals.

VTC: The Dyson is basically the cost of a new back door which we currently need to replace. My hair is hip length and while it does get hot I found I like to hold the Revlon brush on the cool setting on my roots, low setting mid shaft and high on the ends.

spongebracket: The Revlon side definitely looks more volumized than the Dyson, but the Dyson side does look really shiny and healthier

Linda Lam: Ahh!!! I love that you did this comparison. I've been debating on whether or not I want to buy both, and will probably buy the Revlon to use while saving up for a Dyson! Thank you so much!!

Marie-Claire Houtsmuller: Hi girl, saw your video about the Revlon about 6 months ago now - I live in NZ so had to order it from Amazon and buy a plug to convert it to work with NZ plugs! Butttttt, it's really amazing! My hair feels so amazing for 2 days after drying it, it also works a lot quicker than a normal hair dryer! It's an amazing product, I don't straighten my hair either anymore. It does make a weight popping noise, am I the only one? Thank youuuuu girl!

Ruby Lopez: Bought the revlon after watching you use it in a previous video and I’m in love!!!! It’s easy to use and gets the job done ✅

anita_margarita: I LOVE the revlon brush! I bought it after I saw your review and I’m obsessed! It’s nice to see that it’s comparable to the crazy priced dyson!

Lynne Rodgers: I think that the Revlon did a nicer job on the styling. The Dyson left the ends of your hair straight instead of the nice curve you got with the Revlon.

Shelley Poole: I ran out and bought the Revlon once I saw your video. Love it! I Have very curly, corse and a lot of hair. I am able to smooth it out and get compliments on it. I feel the Dyson is too much money and I don’t want to pay that price ( roughly 800 in Canada) though I would love to try it. I’ll wait till it drops price.

Pretty Noona: I think I like the Dyson, I have long hair and I loose quite a bit of hair when I blow dry my hair so I like that about the Dyson but not for $500.00 dollars, that's insane. The Revlon seems more budge friendly but then I can not deal with my hair getting stuck (I had a few nightmares with brushes … I don't want to ever remember that experience) so I'll just keep my regular blow drier and my brush. Maybe in a few years I might change my mind. Thank you for the review =)

Kathy Runyan: After watching your Revlon video I went and got this, and I LOVE IT. I have fine, natural curly hair and it works so well I don't even need a flat iron on it. I am still so curious about the Dyson I think i will break down and get one.

Private1: I prefer the babyliss big hair to the Revlon. I love the fact you can use it static or have it rotating with no effort on my part.

Julie Colleran: I love my Revlon air brush and I bought it because of you! I use my Harry Josh blow dryer to get my hair to a slightly damp stage then go in with the Revlon airbrush. For the price, Revlon is the winner for me! Thanks for this great comparison! You’re the BEST!!!

Artseapony M: Thank you for comparing the brushes and not the curl wand for the Dyson! So helpful

Erica Jaye: I love my revlon. I dont know how I lived without it. I would repurchase a thousand times over. I've always had trouble with a brush and dryer at the same time. It is harder at the roots but that's not a deal breaker. I only wish it was somehow cordless lol.

Dolores Of Course: Thanks for the review. Definitely not a $500 difference. I use a vintage Schick Styling Stick from the 70's that would put these to shame.

Brie B: You usually get what you pay for and yeah the Dyson is amazing and has more bells and whistles, but $550 is VERY excessive. I love the Revlon one which I got bc of your last video and it saved me hundreds!

Andrea Baker: Milabu I love your videos. Because of your review videos I have never had buyers remorse. I have the Revlon One Step which I love to "blow & go." Just yesterday my husband bought me the Dyson Airwrap. Thank you for taking the time to show everything from styling abilities, to heat settings/output, to even noise output. When I want to buy something I look first to see if you did a video. :) Thank you again. :)

Magdalena O.: I got dyson and I absolutely love it! With all the attachments it’s worth it

Loren Polk: I have the Revlon since the first review video, and convinced my mom to get one too! Both sides are nice, but the Dyson is not 10 times better... Not worth the price!

Julia Jackson: I LOVE Revlon, purchased based upon your recommendation. My daughter tried my Revlon and cannot wait for her Christmas gift from me (a Revlon of course!). Thank you for your vids on this!

BlingBea: I love that Revlon Brush, I bought one cause my niece told me about it then when Ulta had their sale I bought 2 more for backups, I never want to be without it. I just shared your video with my niece cause she wants to get that Dyson one. Love your channel, I’m 64 and I’ve learned lots from you. Your hubby is adorable.
