Tymo Ring Hair Straightening Comb Review

Hello, beautiful people and welcome back to my channel. I know i'm looking like a crazy person right now, but i can promise you. It is for a good cause, as you can see by the title of this video, i'm going to be straightening. This mane out yes and reviewing a product just for you, so if you're new to this channel welcome, my name is bree. I make beauty, health and adventure videos every week. If you have not already please subscribe, it really helps my channel out. Let'S go ahead and get started into this video to straighten my hair, i'm going to be using the tymo ring. Straightening comb very excited to try this out. Tymo was kind enough to send me this product and i'm gon na. Let you know what it is: we're gon na unbox it we're gon na, go through the whole process and we'll see what the results are. So my first thoughts very skeptical, because i already have a really good straightening routine. If you guys have watched my hair straightening video, if not, i will link that up here and down below you see. I have my process. I have my things i like to do and i've been doing it for years, and i love it like that. So this change is kind of interesting to me and i've never tried a hair straightening comb like this, but they promise really good results. They promise less heat damage, so we're going to give it a go and see if this actually works, i'm going to go ahead and read the directions so that i know what i'm doing before. I take everything out timo this straightening comb incorporates ptc heating technology and reaches 350 degrees fahrenheit within 30 seconds. That'S good and ready in 60 seconds. Oh okay! It saves time when it straightens more hair at once, with less cone passes, ceramic teeth and patent shape with the patent v shape, make hair a silky, shiny, satin like reducing breakage and splitting by up to 50 percent. Okay, it can reach more hair roots to provide better results. Beautiful silky hair is achieved in minutes, while reducing damage for soft thin, fine bleach, dyed, curly, thick or wavy to silky and natural straight hair. This sounds like good product. For me, this is what it came like in the mail didn't take very long to get to my house, which is really nice. It was like three days and it was here and it came through amazon, so holla for amazon. What looks like inside looks like i've got more than just a straightening tool which is exciting. I'M to get this thing out. I don't know what this is. This is a looks like a brush cute. It'S like bright pink! Oh how about that. So it's the cute brush that comes with it. I don't know if i can use that in my hair right now, because i'm pretty sure that if i were to use this, it would just get stuck. So i think maybe using this, maybe in the shower. There'S no directions to it. Maybe i just need to oh i'm moving things around. I found something in here: okay, now, that's just for the straight income. Does it say anything about the brush? Nope, don't say anything about brush it's cool anyway. I definitely could use this as a it feels like a wet brush. It feels like something that i you could use in the shower and probably be really helpful to use before you do your hair. So that goes in that. Oh i got clips. That'S cool that doesn't usually happen, so i got extra clips nice and then you've got the straightener itself open this up nicely packaged. I like the little sleeve it's cute, and this is what it looks like huh. Okay, it's the way, the future. I see interesting, it's like a cone, i'm so confused. I guess we're gon na have to figure it out. It doesn't look like a comb to me, but maybe that's why they call it a ring, so it also comes with a glove. I may or may not use this because i don't usually use the gloves, but i guess for demonstrations sake i'll, be safe and i'll use it. I'M gon na go ahead and plug this up, really quick and let it heat up and talk to you guys in just a sec. I'M gon na go ahead and turn it on. Oh, it's already on i'm guessing that the plus button means high heat to low heat, i'm gon na crank it all the way up, because that's what i usually do on most of my straighteners or hair curlers. I just do the most heat, i'm guessing when that light stops flashing. It means that it's ready. It probably says that in the direction, so i'm going to check that out. So that was pretty self-explanatory, um very basic directions, which is really good easier, the better, while i'm letting that heat up i'm gon na. Let you guys know what i've done to my hair first, i have not straightened my hair in like four months, which is a long time for me. I usually will straighten it at least once a month or like every other month, but i just haven't gotten to it, and i have not seen my hair straight with this new hair color. So i'm really excited to see what it looks like all finished. So what i did to my hair to get it looking crazy like this is: i took a shower yesterday, shampooed, my hair came out of the shower, did not put any product in it, let it air dry and then just before i started filming, i just brushed The hair out just to make sure that there was no kinks and i'll probably just have to take a brush and go through it again, so that it's not too tangly because guys it is a lot of hair and it's coarse and it's thick and it tangles Within a second, so if this product works for my hair, it's going to be a good thing and it'll work for your hair all right, so i'm going to go ahead and separate my hair into sections just like i usually would in straightening my hair, i'm going To take one side and put it up hold okay on we go i'm going to put this up in a later bun on the side of my hair, so it can kind of stay out of the way. Then i'm going to separate it again into another section. So much hair - oh my goodness twist that and then i'm going to take the clips that they gave you clip that in the hair i, like those clips, they're nice and thick too. Oh, that's good! I'M going to go ahead and take a leave-in product as a hair protectant. I usually will use this. This is my go-to, but it's a 10 leave-in miracle product. I really like it because i feel like it's light and it doesn't cause my hair to be super heavy or oily when i straighten it. I just take about two spritz and take my hands and just kind of work it through my hair. It smells so good. I'M gon na take a little brush start at the end. You know i'm gon na try to use this one. I'M gon na try! Okay, that's not bad starting at the ends. That'S actually not too bad. I'M just scared to like get to my roots, because that's where it's the most coarse, i'm going to go over with my conair brush just to make sure, because my hair is very difficult guys, i'm going to separate it even more because i don't feel like it's Going to be enough, so i'm going to go ahead and take the other clip of thee. Get me put that up there and then we're going to start straightening, the hair, all right so, according to the directions, i'm just going to take this and move it through. The hair, oh, i see the hair kind of catches into the ring. I got that okay, it's definitely something to get used to because it's so different from anything i've ever used before, but that is interesting. Huh really cool and pull it. That is so neat guys. Wow so neat wow, look at that! That'S cool! So i'm going to try on a bigger section, doing the downward comb wow! That'S cool! Okay! Yes, look at that! Hey hey! Let this down! So you guys can see the difference. Look at that two different people, i'm gon na go ahead and do the other side all right, guys, i've completed straightening the hair. I can't believe that only took me 15 minutes to do that insane. The verdict overall, i feel like it, served the purpose that it was intended for it did not get my hair as sleek and straight as i usually can do with my other process, but it takes me about two hours to do that whole process. To get my hair super sleek and straight - and this only took me 15 minutes to get it this straight, so i will say that if you have hair that is not as coarse as mine, this will probably work phenomenally for your hair. I'M really excited actually because i typically like to straighten my hair, like this not put too much heat on it and then curl it so that i have like some beachy waves going on and it's super cute, so definitely a must-have. Also, once i can travel again, this is the tool that i'm going to use because i don't like to bring a blow dryer and a straightener with me when i travel, especially because i don't have a lot of space in my luggage. Usually so this is the one-stop shop for me. I'M going to go ahead and take this and be able to travel flat iron, my hair, if i need to and go about my day, so i really really like that it is only 50 on amazon.
