hair tutorial hair up do

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i hope you've all had a great week, so i've wanted to do a video like this in the longest time um - and i have done a lot of hairstyle videos in the past that have done really well um and when I watch youtube. Obviously i find it interesting if i see like some really cool hairstyles pop up, because i'm not really a massive like hair person like if it was out of hair or makeup. I would do my makeup really good and just leave my hair scruffy, and i had done that in all my past youtube videos. You just see that i had have my hair, like swooped on the side, just curly and messy from waking up, and that was it. Um but then i've come to find um as i've gotten older and i've learnt more like tips and tricks. It actually looks really good and you look so much more put together when you have a really good hairstyle, so i have been inspired by the 90s aesthetic lately, like the music, the style, the clothes, the hair, um everything i have a 90s baby myself, i'm born In 1994, so i thought why not do a 90s inspired hair video and i'm also going to talk about amazing beauty, hair extensions as well, which i'm wearing in today's video. So i'm going to show you guys, five hairstyles in today's video, for you guys that you can achieve using hair extensions. You don't need hair extensions, but if you do have some, then that's good so yeah. I hope you guys like this video and if you do want to see more hairstyle videos like this, then please give it a big thumbs up and don't forget to. Let me know your favorite hairstyle on me down below in the comments i'd love to know, because then i can wear my hair more so like that um so yeah, let's get started in the video okay, so i haven't got any extensions in this. Is my hair? Without extensions, yes, my hair is still really long without extensions, but, as you can see, it's like really thin at the ends and i'm noticing um the older i'm getting and the more i'm like heat styling, my hair, the more falls out and the thinner it's getting. So that's why i'm like growing up my regrowth at the moment, but i kind of like it, like i kind of like having some dark hair as well. I feel like it makes my eyes stand out more and it suits my eyebrows and it just like kind of ties in all together, i'm going to talk a little bit about amazing beauty, hair extensions in today's video, because i'm going to be using them to do All the different hairstyles with, and they kindly gifted me um a box of their 22 inch 220 gram, hair extensions in platinum, blonde number 60.. They are super affordable compared to other hair extensions brands. Other, like top hair extension brands, can charge like up to 700 700 new zealand dollars um, which is insane um, and for this the whole 220 gram set, which is the thickest. I think you can get on their website um it costed 411 for the 22 inch 220 gram ones, um at the moment, there's a flash sale which is really amazing, so you can get 20 off, so you can use the code fs20 or you can buy one Get one 50 off if you use the code fs50 or you can buy two and get one eighty percent off and use the code fs, 80. um, but anyway just so, you can get an idea, my ones, i'm about to show you costed. 295. 90. Us they are amazing. I did have to tone mine by the way, because this was the lightest shade, but my hair is like quite like a white blonde, so the less grams you get the cheaper it is and the shorter you get it the cheaper. It is as well, mine was obviously the most expensive because i got the longest link that they stock on their website, which is 22 inch um and it's 220 grams. So it comes in this cute little box um. As you can see, i like how it's like quite small on here. It says 100 human hair extensions, and it says on that side too, and on there it shows you what you got like the color and the size and the grams. The extensions come in this bag, so how cute is this bag? So it says amazing, beauty, hair extensions on there and it's got like little tassels. You also get this clip, so this is handy for when you're, like styling your hair, and then you get some spare clips um and by the way i do notice. These hair extensions have amazing clips by the way like very strong, and you also get this comb um. I need a new comb. It says amazing beauty on it, and it's also got like one of these, so you can like part, your hair, which is gon na, be awesome for today's video and then you get some like manual in here, just daily care and washing and return policy in there. So it's good, they have a return policy um. You can actually return it if your color doesn't suit well or if it doesn't blend well - and you can return the product within 30 days and a full refund will be issued to you. They are so silky and so soft. Obviously after i washed and toned them, they are still like soft but they're not as like, intensely straight and like silky, but they still are um. I wish i didn't have to tone them, but, like i said, my hair is really light and they didn't have any shades that were lighter. That'S probably one thing that i would would have liked to see on. The website is like a lot more shade range and just like all different kinds of blondes kind of thing, and you can take them to the hairdresser as well, because they're 100 human hair. So if you want them like dyed, you can get them custom, colored and stuff like that, but anyway, look at this. So this is the color of platinum blonde. Without any toning, and as you can see, it is more yellow than my hair. So i literally just had to tone them by a few shades and then they suited like the other pieces, but i wanted to keep two without toning them, so you can see like the shininess like look at this. They are so shiny, so soft and 22 inch like you, can kind of see the whole length of it. It'S got like a rubber piece over the clip down here, so it's like easier grip and then, when you clip it, it's quite like tight to clip in tight to push back, which is what you want, because if it's easy to unclip, then you don't want your Hair extensions like unclipping from your head and falling out that would be a disaster. There is a lot of hair in here. Okay, i haven't straightened them properly. I did try and give them a little bit of a strain in the hair dry, as you can see, like they're still really silky, but they're like a little bit frizzy after um after, like toning them and stuff, but obviously like that's gon na change. It suits my hair, so much better. Um and yeah went down a few shades lighter. I use the finola purple shampoo and i mixed it in with shampoo on my hand, and then i quickly went in with a lot of water on the hair extensions and like foamed it all up. You want to make sure you don't like. Pour the purple shampoo straight onto the extensions and blend it in, because that's going to turn your hair extensions like purple um so and especially, if they're this color and like fresh remy human hair. So i was really careful at toning them and i did like a little one piece first before i did the whole lot just in case. So in the 220 gram 22 inch you get one four piece and then i was really excited that they did this. So you get three three pieces, so this is like the perfect size, because when you put it around your head, it's not going to come like too close to your ears on either side. Do you know what i mean and then you get four single clips. So this will be good to just like hide throughout your hair. Then these will also be really good to add in, but you get two two pieces as you can see um. So all you need to go is like this slide the clips into here and push and do the middle one slide the clip into here and push as you can see it look at this. This is pretty much all of them added in, and i've still left out the four piece in the three piece, so it would be even thicker than this if your hair's like mine and it's shorter in the front, you want to add clips to that area. So i've added a clip: okay, so i'm literally just gon na start planting this down all the way and see the extension is in here like that single piece. So it's gon na really help um make it look normal and just like kind of the same length as the rest of my hair. It will be a bit shorter, obviously because you're plaiting it you can either tie it or you can leave it. I'M just gon na leave it in this regard because, like it just stays, and i'm so glad i have that um one piece and the front noise and i literally wouldn't be able to do this. So that's why hair extensions are good, because if you can't do certain hairstyles because of the length of your hair or like the style of your hair or like, if you have a fringe, then this is good. Because then you can add like your single pieces in. I so i feel like dyeing my hair brown, though like i've wanted to for the longest time now, while like the last four months like i've, kept thinking about it on and off, but i'm thinking i'm gon na wait till after a wedding, because everybody's used to Me being a blonde - and i just feel like myself when i'm blonde, if you know what i mean, but i reckon yeah after our wedding. Okay, i'm gon na use my straightener, so i have the ghd platinum plus and you can get these from beauty bliss. If you are from new zealand, they have super fast shipping um, and they did give me the straightener. So i'm so thankful for that, because i literally use it all the time um and it is so good, like it straightens your hair so fast. If you think normal ghds are good, then you're wrong, like go to this hair straightener and you you'll be like oh okay. Okay, so, as you can see, i've got the hair extensions in and i can straighten them really easily um without worrying. It feels so like barbie, i don't know what it is like. I feel so stylish. I really like this hairstyle. Do you guys like it? Alright? As you can see the whole thing, it is fully straight. It looks amazing. I don't normally have my hair in the front on both sides like this, so this is so weird for me, but yeah. I feel like this makes me look like a barbie. Let me know if you guys, like this hairstyle um, and if you do, then let me know okay, so i'm going to show you guys the second hairstyle, so i'm just going to put those single pieces. Honestly, these single pieces are so handy for hairstyles like this um, so i'm gon na put them like right in the top like up in here, because we need the top half of my head. Okay, so grab little hair ties like this, so i just have two grab your hair and just pull it back. These hairstyles are really easy, but i guess this video is more so, like inspiration not tutorial, do you know what i mean? So i'm going to tie this little part up in here, and i do have that one piece of extension in there um, which is helping to make it longer and then just pull it tight. You want to make sure that it's really similar to the other um ponytail before you do, tie it up. Okay, and if you want you can like really pull it back like back to here, i had just a fine plait in here. Ponytails, like this were very 90s um. It reminds me of baby spice on the spice girls. I feel very sad for the gen z's, who don't know who spy skills are, because that's who i grew up listening to um, so yeah we're just gon na do a little plait in this little ponytail here just to make it look a little bit more technical. Okay, so this is the second hairstyle i feel like so much younger than my age. I feel like 17 or something, but i guess that's good, that all you get. You can do this hairstyle and you feel like super young, but yeah. I really like this hairstyle. I think it looks really cute um and yeah. I know this will suit a lot of you guys and it was super easy to do. I'Ve removed some hair extensions from the back, so i can like lift it up. So it's not like so obvious. So what you're going to need is a hair tie and also some hairspray, i'm using the vo5 extra hold hairspray. This reminds me of my memories back in the day, because i always used to like spray, my hair with this um okay. So i'm going to part my hair to the side. Oh my god, my hair looks so weird on the side now, okay, so what you want to do is brush some hair to the side and keep that here. So i'm going to keep about this much and then take away all the rest, and i'm going to do that to the side as well. What you want to do is put your hair up in a really high ponytail, but leave like this part out and literally just use your comb and just comb up everything up into a really high ponytail. This is gon na start to feel like an arm. Workout, honestly, okay bring it the highest. You can and then literally tie that up high. I should have added like another hair extension in but oh well, there we go, make sure it's nice and tall tight and it's nice and straight so we have done that. So it should look like this so far, so you're going to want to spray your fringe with hairspray. I kind of wanted to avoid the hairspray today, but oh well, and then spray that side, so just spray the middle parting, where you have to kind of let it sit rush, this really flat against your head, really smooth it. You can even spray in your hand. I know this sounds random, but spray in your hand and then tap it down like that. Okay and then do the same with the side, i'm spraying my hand and just doing it that way. I find that so much easier, okay and then put it behind your ear, and you want to hide like this bit that sits down by your ears, so you want to grab your bobby pin and just pin it up at the back somewhere. I feel like this is a really well put together. Hairstyle, if you know what i mean, this is what it looks like from the side. I really like this one, give it a try now. What you want to do is take that ponytail out and keep your hair like this um just add in some more extensions, if you need to i quite liked this style, so what you want to do. This is just like a quick like next hairstyle. You could do extending on the hairstyle, then grab a clip, so i'm taking this cool like leopardy one, and i am clipping it. Oh my gosh. I never use clip. Oh yeah we're gon na use this one. Okay, i'm just putting in two like really cool. Like feature clips, i guess you could call it this stuff at the back. You can volumize. So what i'm gon na do is spray it and then i'm going to just kind of like push it up, and then you can even volumize it with some hair pins. So yeah it's just like extending on the hairstyle. We just did yeah and then push this one up and then you can like pull it out. So i've literally just put some hair pins at the back and secured that down and then maybe have like a piece sitting here. I'Ve seen people in the 90s do stuff like this. Oh it looks very like 60s. I don't know, i don't know what this is, but it does remind me of, like the mean girls hairstyle, if you know what i mean i feel like. I need some more hair extensions in because there's not that much volume. So i'm going to add some more in down here. Okay, so this is this hairstyle. It is really quick and easy. I really wanted to do something with clips um and i think it looks quite cute, yay, cute, okay, so we're gon na go like this and then we're gon na leave two strands because we love those strands. So the strands were like a big thing of the 90s and i always do it now. I think it just looks really like pretty. I don't know something about it, um and then you're going to take like your hole here. So you want to make sure it's parted at the back, so we're going to tie it up like this and you might need four of these little hair ties. So i'm gon na tie that one up like this. I'M surprised my hair is being really easy to work with today. Normally i hate doing my hair, so it's funny because yeah i always find that when i do something for a video, it turns out so good. I think it's because i'm like focused on something i don't know okay and then i'm gon na take this side of my hair. I'Ve got a lot of short bits, so don't worry about that. Okay, just messes my friend back, i'm so excited because i'm having a movie night tonight with two of my best friends um and i've just asked another one of my best friends to come over. She wants. I can wear my big lichen hoodie if you guys want like a big, comfortable soft hoodie, which is like perfect for winter and lounging around and it's like super oversized, then you can use my code um, i'm gon na wear mine tonight and i'm so looking forward To it it's gon na be so snuggly and yeah we're just gon na eat mcdonald's and we're just going to have a movie night. It sounds fun, oh by the way look, you could do your hair like this. This can be one of the hairstyles, but i'm not gon na make it count because yeah i'll just do like hairstyles forever. If i just keep going, oh my gosh i'm gon na twist this. This is normally how i do my buns and then i'm going to wrap it around and around and around okay, we're not going to do another hair tie idea we're going to do bobby pins because that's normally how i do my hair. So i'm going to use blonde colored bobby pins, they still like brown but they're, still like a little bit more disguised and then we're going to stick it in and i'm going to put about three bobby pins on each side, so they're really like secure. Oh, my gosh. I'Ve never done space buns, so this is like so weird for me, but hey. I think it looks cute okay, so i just did the other one off camera. It was hard to get them kind of even but i did it. This is my first attempt at space bun, so i'm pretty proud with that um. So literally, you just tie it in two ponytails twist it and then wrap around around and put like three bobby pins in it. Then just like spread it out. If you want, you can grab some hairspray and spray it like this. If your hair is a bit unruly like mine, i feel like i'm very cutesy, like an anime character. I don't know. Do i suit space buns? Let me know this is the first time doing it um, but yeah. I do feel very 90. anyway, i'm going to do the last hairstyle, and this is one that i have been doing a lot lately, because i just really like it and i think it looks really cool, and i know this one would suit a lot of people. Okay, so tie your hair up like this, like half up half down comb it right back, so it's nice and even i'm gon na use the comb and just really comb it through and then what you want to do is take a hair claw. This one's really cool this one's from buttermilk accessories. I got this in like a benefit package and i was like oh yeah. I wanted one of those, so i've been using it ever since um, so i've just clipped it up like this, as you can see. So your hair should look like that pick it up like i'm, holding the clip and pushing, and then i'm grabbing the bits like this, and why is this turning out so much better on camera than it does in real life? Like i swear when i try and do things in real life, it never turns out as good as when i'm like filming it. I don't know it's really weird anyway, i'm making this part super high, like 90s, aesthetic i'm going to curl two sides, so i'm using my ghd again go around like this. I just love how quick this um heats up as well, like it's amazing like look at that doing this hairstyle. Lately, though, is probably why my hair's been snapping so much because i've been heat, styling um, but it's good to know that i actually don't need to heat style. It like it can turn out nice um without heat styling. Okay, so that's how you curl, you literally just grab it, but let us twist twist twist and pull through like this. It'S like the easiest way to do. Curls, i think doing it with the ghd, is so much easier than most straighteners, because it's like a rounded barrel on the top so literally grab and then just go like this and twist it it's just so easy. You can see i'm just to keep going like this. I'M not going to film me doing the whole lot and i just do it all in one direction and then, while the curl is off, but still hot literally go over the fringe once like this, because i don't want it like super curly like this, i want It like more straight curled, you know what i mean flick it in like this and then take one side and put it all to one side like one big, thick hairstyle, and then i have some strands out on the side. Just a few, oh in my vlog, my 90s party vlog, i wore my hair like this um, so yeah. This is what it looks like yeah, so that was my video showing you six 90s inspired hairstyles. I hope you really liked this video. I actually really enjoyed filming this. I found it so fun and it was cool to kind of experiment with different hairstyles, because i'm so bad with my hair, like i never do anything with my hair, i never style it really. Oh! Well! I am more so now like doing this style, but i used to just like flick it over to the side and do nothing with it, and you realize like how much better you look when you put a little bit more effort into your hair as well as Your makeup um, it just makes the biggest difference um anyway. Let me know what your favorite style on me was down below in the comments and what style you liked the best like for you and if you're gon na try out any of these styles um and don't forget to subscribe to my channel, i upload every saturday At 8 a.m: new zealand time um - i hope you guys have a great week and i'll see you guys in my next week's video bye
