Listen for the people that have thick hair, i kind of don't like you, hey, y'all, welcome back to another video. If you are new hi, my name is shani. Thank you so much for clicking to watch this video. So, as you all can see by the title, the thumbnail i'm going to be showing you guys how i clip in my hair, giving hair clippings - and this is kind of a updated video, because i've had these clipments for about two years and i've been wearing her. Given hair clippings for about four years - and this video is sponsored by her given hair, so thank you so much her giving here for sponsoring today's video. I really appreciate it. We love that over here, so yeah, let's go ahead and get into this video, because i am going to be rambling a lot about these clip-ins okay. So i'm just taking these rollers out before i proceed and my clippings, some of my clippings are already curled, but i am, i think i am going to curl my hair again, depending on how the clippings are looking once they're in my head. So this is my hair with no cleavage i forgot a roller. This is my hair without any clippings and i probably should have wore a different colored shirt, but it's okay. I think my hair has been straightened for a solid week. It is getting a little bit oily. I need to buy some more dry, shampoo but yeah. This is how my hair is looking after a week of it being straightened, and this is the back. I really hope you guys can see but yeah. That'S that's the hair and i personally like to wear clip-ins, because it makes my hair more full and it gives me a little bit more length, but i think my hair has outgrown these clip-ins. These are originally the 20 and 22 inch clip-ins. If you guys are familiar with my channel, i did a video two years ago, showing you guys how i customized my clip-ins, because i did cut them in length and i did cut the clip in whip. So originally these were 20 and 22 inch clip-ins. I got two bundles and i ended up cutting the actual weft. So when you get your bundle of clip-ins, it comes with one five clipping weft. I think three three clipping wipes and two two clipping wefts, if i'm not mistaking - and i cut them because i like my clippings to be as versatile as possible and sometimes with like the five clipping with. I can't really like throw my hair up in a ponytail whenever i want to, because once my equipments aren't in my hair, i don't like to move them around too much so yeah. If you guys are interested in how i customized and cut my clip-ins, i will link that video in the cards. It will probably pop up on one side of the screen and i will link it down below, so you guys can see how these actually came, because these aren't how they actually came so in front of me. I have four three clipping wefts right here. Some are curled, some aren't curled. I have two two clipping wefts. I have three one clipping webs another thing that i recommend when it comes to clip-ins, when you are ordering your clip-ins make sure you think about what you do on a daily basis, because the fan is on hold on it was getting hot. So i had to turn around but anyways when you are ordering your clip-ins. I recommend thinking about what you do on a daily basis, because when i first had these clip-ins or when they were 22 20 inch clip-ins. I was working at mac and i did makeup all day and i was doing clients all day and i'm the type of makeup artist. When i do clients i get hot and i can't have hair in my face. So it was just kind of annoying having long hair and i was hot, so i did end up cutting them. But i don't recommend doing that because you are cutting off money essentially because the longer the length of your clip is the more you're actually going to be paying so get the wing that you're actually going to be wearing or what you want to do it with. If you want long, clippings definitely go for the lawn clippings, because the quality of these clip-ins are amazing. Even though they're kinky straight or blown out straight kinky clippings, they they're still like floaty they're, still going to move depending on how you strain it out and how you wash it um like i said, the quality is amazing. So if you do want the lawn clippings cis, i understand because that's why i got them, but they did not go with my daily life. If that makes sense, if you're like me and hair, makes you hot and you just want fullness for your hair, stick with the 12 inch 14 or 16 inch clip ins they're still going to do the same thing, they're just not going to have as much. You know length, you know what i'm saying. I just wanted to tell you all that, because um, why waste money? You know why waste money, because i definitely waste money, even though i didn't pay for these. It was definitely a waste of money for me to cut the clip-ins. You know so get the clip-ins that you're actually going to wear, because you will get your money's worth these are you know a pretty penny and anybody got time to be wasting no money. Enough of my rambo link, let's clip in these clip-ins because um, i feel a little bald okay just a little bit and my hair is starting to get oily, so the strands are sticking together and my hair doesn't look as full. So, let's clip it in all right, so i'm gon na start off by parting, my hair in the back, and i should probably zoom you guys in a little bit so you can see so that's the back. The roots are kind of puffy, because i do go to the gym. Pretty often, i'm going to start off with the three clip and left and clip this down. First, and the way i like to clip in my clip in is to like pull my hair and lift it up and clip the hair onto it, so that i can like throw it in a ponytail whenever i'm ready to so just go under lift the clip. In up and clip it onto the hair now this is probably going to be easier if your hair is thicker, but since my hair is thin, i kind of have to like finesse how i clip it in all right. So that's one clipping with i don't know. If my part is straight or not, but i can just pull it and it can be up in a bunch of now i'll probably move this, because i feel like the actual clipping is showing, but they'll be okay for the time all right. So that is one clipping and you literally cannot tell yeah. It looks like my hair, which i love so there's no complaints over here. I'M gon na take another three clipping with. Let me comb it out a little bit. Okay, just turn some back, so y'all can see what i'm doing and i think that's thick enough. I hope y'all see the thickness. I'M gon na try to do this with a comb, so you guys can get like a clean crisp. Look at what i'm doing, but i don't i don't do this with a comb. I literally just throwing these clip-ins. It'S probably because i've been clipping in my hair for so long that i just know where to put it, but for you guys that don't know how to clip in your clip-ins i'm going to try to slow it down and show you guys with the comb. Okay. So bear with me all right, so i'm going to start off by the top of my right ear. I think this is my right ear and then go upward and then bring it back down to the left side of my ear. Okay, i know that was a little quick, so i'm gon na replay it and show you guys again so go from your right ear, bring it up just a little bit in the heel and then bring it back down to the other side of your ear. Now, since this is the widest part of my hair typically, this is where you will put the five clipping with. So if you are doing this yourself - and you just want to know how to do clip ins, i would clip in the five clip in weft right here. But since i know how i, like my clippings - and i know that i like to put it in a ponytail randomly - i don't want to have that wide of a clipping in my hair when it comes to my daily hairstyle, you get what i'm saying i treat These, like they're tape, ins or eye tips, whatever extension, i treat them like they're that now, if i'm wearing my hair down - and i know i'm going to keep it down, i would definitely go in with a five clip and weft right here, because it just gives You more hair and it makes your hair look fuller. So don't shy away from the five clipping with if you're going to be wearing your hair down you're not going to be throwing it in a ponytail. I hope y'all understand what i'm saying, because i'm really not trying to confuse y'all okay, so now that my hair is parted, i'm just going to take the top section of my hair and clip it out of the way. So it doesn't get in my way. But it does end up getting in my way, but that's okay. It'S clipped out of the way. Now i'm just going to take another three clip in weft and add it to the center of my head. So i'm going to lift up put the hair up grab. It and lift it up and clip the hair onto your hair, so it's kind of free to do what is what it wants, but it still has the security to stay on your hair again. Go from the bottom, lift your hair up and clip it onto the hair again go from the bottom: lift the hair up and clip the hair onto your hair, and i feel like this needs to come down all right there we go. So that's how the third clip in is looking and i can still pull my hair up. Let me see where we are with thickness. It looks so good, listen for the people that have thick hair. I kind of don't like you, and this is just with three clip-ins, so i'm gon na pull the hair back up just to see where's the last place i placed the clip in okay, so i saw that i wanted more thickness at the top of my head. So i am filling for the center of my hair and i'm just going to part two sections off um on both sides of my head and leave the center free. Because that's where i'm going to put a clip in so i'm clipping this side off. And then i'm going to do the same thing to the other side, so everything matches and everything is balanced. So i'm just sectioning off the other side of my hair and clipping it out of the way and then like i said i want to put one more like right here, so i'm going to go ahead and part like right here, but not too high, because you Don'T want this clip in to show when you're wearing your hair down all right. So that's how big my part is going to be with somebody with thicker hair. This will probably be more hair, but with me it's not all right. So i'm taking the three clipping left and i'm taking the middle clip and i'm going to clip that down first and then i'm just going to clip this down as well and clip it down on that side. You still can flip here. I really hope. I'M not confusing y'all. If i am, i really do apologize, but i promise it's not that hard okay, so i have one two three, four three clipping wefts in my head and this is the thickness and i'm not going to add any more to the crown of my head, because i Don'T want the clip ins to show, so that's all i'm going to add to the back of my head now, i'm going to focus on the sides. Alright, so usually i like to wear my hair like like this or i like to wear it in a middle part like this. So i like to be able to do this without moving around clip-ins and i like to be able to put it up in a ponytail if i want to so i'm going to show you guys how i do that all right. So right here is where i'm going to put a clip in, because i know i don't. I don't part my hair right here, so i know it's not really going to matter. If i put a clip in right here, yes, it is a little bit thin. I actually need to part this a little further back, so we have a curved part there we go. Oh it's not as straight so i'm taking the two clipping lip and it's going to be placed right here. So lifting the hair up and combing it into the hair alright, so we have the two clip and left and it's kinda on the same line as the third clip and weft that we clipped in so it's right up under the last one. If that makes sense, i really hope i'm not confusing y'all. Oh my gosh okay, so that is sitting right there and i'm just gon na. Let that side just lay down and go to this side and do the same thing. I'M gon na do a curved part and again it's kind of connecting to the third clip and left. I know y'all can't really see, but this is the last three clipping with i put in. We flip it up and it's going to be on the same line as the um third three clipping with so just part make a curved part, and i'm gon na put it right here. So i'm lining it up with the tip of my ear. I'M not going to put it up here, because this hair is a little bit too thin and i don't want it to show so we're going to clip it down right here. Lift it up clip it down flip this hair up and then clip it down just like that all right. So those are the two two clipping webs that i had and now the hair is looking like hair, because before was just strands now now it's just like wow, your hair is so healthy and full. You know, okay, so pretty much. All the clippings are clipped in, except for the three one clipping webs and i don't really need to put in any more clippings, because i'm at the fullness that i like i just like my hair to not look see-through. If that makes sense. Oh another thing: i have the natural colored clip-ins. If your hair is dark, i recommend getting the one b, because sometimes i do notice like the brown color of the clippings. So if your hair is very dark, you're going to be able to tell the difference of the clip ends. So if that irritates, you just make sure you get the 1b and i do have a video coming up with the 1b clippings. So you guys will kind of be able to see what the 1b color looks like on me, but right now this is the natural colored um clip in, and i didn't dye these at all. You can dye these, but i didn't because i just didn't feel like it. You know i'm saying when i get clip-ins, i want them to be ready to go right out of the pack. This is how the hair is looking and i'm going to put in probably two more clip ins, i'm gon na part right here down the middle. Let'S use a comb, even though i don't really use a comb. I want you guys to be able to see that's. Why i'm using the comb? So this is the middle part and that's how it usually lays so i'm going to take like kind of like an inch, i'm going to part it right here! Lay it back over there. Let'S get a cleaner part. Okay! So that's how we're looking so you want to go under and lift the hair up and then clip and then clip the hair down. Okay and like i said i do like to wear my hair flipped over, so i can just literally flip it over, and you know you can't see no clipping because i didn't put the clip in on my actual part. I put it over all right, so we're going to do the same thing to this side of my head. Take it away, take it away and you guys can kind of see that the clipping is lighter than my natural hair. So this is my hair. This is the clip in so like. I was saying if your hair is dark, make sure you get the 1b, because you're going to be able to tell all right now that everything is clipped in i'm going to go back over my edges to straighten them out a bit and then i'm going to Put some more curls in my hair just to freshen up the curls and i'm gon na make sure to curl everything away from my face. That'S just how i like my curls to look, and they always fall really really pretty so yeah thinking about you bye! All that i crave when you're away nights are sleepless, do we need space yeah, maybe you're, brave or you're? My weakness all right, i'm about to play my edges, i'm just gon na move the hair out the way - and this is the edge control that i use all right. So i'm gon na brush the edges down first and then i'll lay them down. This is another reason why i feel like i need a wax stick, because sometimes i like it to look like it's not laying down, and i feel like. Sometimes this gives me too much hold if that makes sense a little bit and then come back. Okay, all right, so it's been about maybe 10 minutes, and these are the edges all right. So this is how it looks with a middle part. Here'S the back. So this is how it looks when it flipped over. I mean the back probably looks the same, but i just want to show y'all okay, so this is it in a ponytail, and this is how i usually wear my hair to the gym. So if y'all follow me on my fitness instagram, this is how i was looking for the first month back in the gym. This is the back. I can't really tell if y'all can see, i can feel the clippings. Of course, i don't know if y'all can see it now when it comes to slipping. I do get a little bit of slipping, but i mean if it moves i'll just go in and you know pick it up and put it back down. But it's not a huge thing. Let'S say that and also make sure you guys don't tug on your hair, because that could lead to breakage. Your hair is still out and you know breathing, but you do have you know extra hair added into it. So it is very easy to like neglect. Your hair still take care of your hair, still brush it out at night and um, wrap it up or brush it at night and put in rollers. Because that's what i do. I don't wrap my hair at night anymore, because for one it makes my hair flat for two. It don't stay on my head and this usually lasts me a month, sometimes i'll take them out. If i feel like my hair is getting tangled and brush my hair out and then put them back in, but other than that, it's really really easy, really easy, all right, you guys, so that is it for this video. I really hope you guys liked it.
