Hi guys and welcome back to the babe cave so, as you can see, i took out my tape and extensions and i also cut my hair. So i decided to take my extensions out because there were some things that i didn't do a hundred percent perfectly. While i was installing them, so they just kind of started to um like loosen up and they were just sliding out, so i was like okay, they just need to come out. Also, i needed to cut my hair. I needed to do this for a while. I started bleaching my own hair about a year ago and i did not know what i was doing at the time and i was bleaching my entire head, like over already bleached portions of my hair, which, if you don't know, that's a big no-no and it just Really damaged my hair, so i had to cut off about three inches. Maybe three and a half i don't know it was. It was quite a bit. I wasn't expecting it to be as short as this, but i mean it's healthy and i wear extensions most of the time anyway so like why not just cut it off and just let it be healthy if i'm gon na be wearing extensions, so yeah. So today i decided to go ahead and make a video showing you guys how i put in my clip clip-in extensions. Originally i wore clip-in extensions all the time i actually love clipping extensions, so much not that i don't love tape and tape. Ins were really really fun, there's just a lot of things that i need to do differently next time that i install those i'm gon na make a whole video about that, and just like what i learned from doing that so yeah. I consider myself a professional at putting in clipping extensions. I just have found like a really good method for blending them and making them look as seamless as possible, especially with really really short hair. So, if you're interested in that go ahead and keep watching okay, so the extensions that i'm going to be using i've had for almost a year now, and they still look. You know fairly good for having them for almost a year. They are from the brand zala and these are the 20 inch platinum ice, clean extensions. They are, i believe, 220 grams. I'M not 100 sure on that. I will put that information in the description box below, but i'm pretty sure they're 220 grams. So they come with three three clip lefts two two clip wefts two four clips or no is it two five clip? I think it's five clip yeah two five clip wefts and two single clip wefts. So i found a great method and like mapping, i guess um - for putting these in okay, so to do this, you're also going to need just like a little clear elastic and then some bobby pins. So, if you're really really shorter, like mine, this first step is going to be so important because it's going to basically just conceal the hair. That would sit right here like on your neck. So whenever you have extensions in usually these hairs are going to like hang out right here and they're gon na be like the telltale sign that you have extensions in. So what i like to do is basically put that section up so to do this, i'm literally just gon na section, my hair, leaving off this lower section. So i put my hair in a little bun. I have my little lower section out like this and i'm going to braid it and then put my little clear elastic at the end of my braid okay. So this is what the little braid looks like. It'S just super like funny looking, so some people like to just leave it like this. If your hair is short enough, you can just put a little ponytail and just leave it back there. I like to just like secure it into like a little mini bun with bobby pins, just to make sure that, like if my hair, like does like move or something in the back you're, not gon na, be able to see this weird like rat tail braid. So yes, i'm just gon na take some bobby pins and just secure it into a little bun. Okay. So here's what it looks like it's a little just like a little tiny like melt like i don't think i could call it a bun but yeah just to kind of keep that hair up and off of your neck. So right, on top of that, i'm going to start by applying a three clip weft. So these are my three little clips and the key to making these like, as even as possible. Like on your head, i like to start with the middle clip and put it right in the middle and then go ahead and clip the two sides. If you have really really fine hair you're going to want to go ahead and either use like a texturizing spray or you're gon na want to tease that area where the clips are gon na be a little bit to make sure that they don't just like slip Out my hair holds on to these pretty well, i don't have to worry too much but yeah. I just thought i'd note that okay, so i'm literally just gon na start by taking the middle clip and putting it right on top of my little nub and just clipping that and then going ahead and clipping the two sides making sure i'm not getting any of My other hair in there, okay, so now, i'm just gon na let down the rest of my hair and i'm going to section a another piece of hair out. I'M going to go about an inch above where i just put my first weft. Okay! So now that that is sectioned out, i'm going to put another three clip left in right. On top so again, we're going to start with the middle clip clip that right in the middle of the head and then clip the two sides and let down another section again about an inch above where we just put the last left. Okay. So now, on this section, i'm gon na go ahead and put a five clip left in. I like to make sure that my five clip wefts are at the widest part of my head. So it's about where your temples are and then like right above your temples. Okay, so i have my five clip weft again, i'm gon na start with the middle clip and then clip the two sides and then the very very outside. So i'm gon na do the same thing. I'M gon na section on the piece out put another five clip weft in. I also like to kind of brush them out as i go, and just kind of make sure that they're, nice and smooth, and not all tangled up okay. So now i'm going to do one more section in the back and i'm going to put in my last three clip wefts. So that's going to go again an inch above where we just put our last left and that's going to be the last left and the back okay. So here's what the back looks like so far, so my back is done. This is all the clips that i want to put in the back all right, so now we're going to move on to the front and last clips it's going to brush make sure everything is nice and smooth. I mentioned the beginning of the video that i have two one clip wefts. Sometimes i use those sometimes i prefer not to often times i don't use them, because i find that having them. You know like it just becomes too much up here in the front, and your hair really can't cover like that. Many clips this high up in the front of your head, so i'm gon na go in and put a two clip weft on each side of my head, so i'm gon na section about an inch from my part. I'M gon na put this over here and i'm literally just gon na clip my two clip wefts and making sure it's not all the way up here because then, obviously, it's not gon na be able to cover like that. I'M gon na flip this hair back over and mess my part up, i'm gon na just kind of brush it together. All right, i'm gon na do the same thing to the other side, so again about an inch from my part, flip this hair over and just clip my two clip weft in here, and that is really all that i do um. Usually these extensions hold curl and wave pretty well, i don't like them to be like overly curly. These ones already have like some wave left in them, so i will usually just leave that i might touch it up a little bit if you have problems with it. Blending still, it's definitely smart to like take like your curling wand or something and kind of like curling. The um extensions with your natural hair it'll help it blend a lot more, but i usually don't have a problem with that, especially since these are already kind of have some wave to them. I'M gon na show you guys: okay, so here's the final product and as you can see, there's none of those crazy short hairs sitting right here in my neck, so it kind of just that first step is so so so important because it kind of just hides You know the fact that you have extensions in all right, i'm going to show you guys what the back looks like. So, as you can see, my clips aren't visible and everything blends pretty well all right guys. So that is all that i have for today's video. Barbara Amaya, CDA: Thank you!!! Do you have any videos about heat curling Zala Keratin clipins? thank you your videos are awesome

Christina N: I went from black cherry dark aubrun to blond, bleaching and bleaching ‍♀️ it definitely wasn't my first rodeo, but I can tell now that I'm older, but hair really really suffered. I cut ALOT off and I just feel so ugly anymore. I have really curly hair, so with it short, unless I straighten, which I am trying not to, I just look terrible.. I have been going back and fourth wether or not to splurge and get tape ins.. I am not even sure if my hair is healthy enough for them.. so I have been researching clip ins.. are they comfy, like does your head feel awkward with them clipped? Obviously my friends and family would know it's fake bc my hair is so short, but can the hair move freely without seeing the clip part? I am so nervous to spend this kind of money on something like this.. but I really feel so yucky it may be worth it these look completely natural to me, just wondering your advice? Thank you so so much!

Amanda meyerholz: My hair is the same length as yours so first video I found that actually is what I was looking for

Savannah Bryant: Can you do more videos with these clip in extensions?

christie L: Your gorgeous. Thank you so much!!!

louise Siwale: LOVE IT HOW MANY GRAMS OF HAIR IS THIS?

kyra!: this is probably a stupid question but i’ve been struggling with my dead short hair and i just got clip extensions, do you do this daily? or could i sleep on them a few times basically how long do they stay?

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me? How long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, how long do I have to be without tape extensions before I can wear it again, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?

Melodee Plath: Wowewww... You are Stunning! Perfectly tutorial !

m b: I am going to buy these can you do a video of how to do a high pony and bun with these?!?

Ren Conrad: How much did you spend on your extensions and what brand x

What's Going On: Which toners did you use wow soooo perfect blonde! Help me!

donna vrahnas: Looks beautiful

Carina: I wouldn’t of known u we’re wearing extensions looks amazing on u I really want to try them but I’m a bit worried if it’s windy how easy it is to see the clips or they fall out

Donna Newton: Great video thanks

ms Stephie Amanda: You’re hair colour is great and u r GORGEOUS

Claire Sauzel: You look gorgeous !!

Deborah Withrow: Also hun my hair is layered but your length how do i hide the crown area as it is about one inch shorter at the occipital back bone if head?

LA guest: Omg could you give me an update if the color stayed the same? There’s has been a couple videos saying this platinum hair extensions turned purple or very gray

Jamie Johnson: Beautiful great ideas

Lea Seberg Fladstad: How many tape extensions did you put on your hair and are all same length?

Latoya: I got these extensions gave them a try installed them ten minutes later it’s shedding , matted and tangled! They claim for any reason you can return with in 180 days well that’s a lie! They said oh you removed the hygiene tag. How the heck would you know they are crap until you put it on. Think about that you removed the hygiene tag? They intend to resale it if you send it back which is the reason you get it in a crappy condition

Dream Girl: If my boyfriend touches my hair will he feel the clip ins? I’m so embarrassed and haven’t told him I wear fake hair

David DH: Loved this video

taylor franklin: such a cool intro! loved ur vid! just subbed, hope we can support each other :)

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Can SugarBearHair Vitamins still fix my hair least after almost eight months even when I have only once tried tape extensions and gently tore them off my hair insted of extensions remover?

Javiah Schleibs: You’ve sold me on clip ins. Are these the remy or keratin?

Deborah Withrow: Did you buy # 60 from zala? Mine were a tinge of yellow i ordered ice platinum # 60 they said that was the right color? Im upset so i opened them and they def are not icy.

mara malik: do they get yanked out easily? or if someone were to pull at it would they fallbout

ichloem: did u get the seamless one or the one w the lace

Fahren T: Why do the extensions look so thin? I just spent $500 on them and I’m already disappointed

Zoey Harrison: How many packs of hair do you wear just the 8 pieces or do u need more than one pack every where I’ve seen they’ve said I need like 3 on average to do fill head my hair is like yours same length etc I’m new to extensions never had them before until my hair fell out December last year so I’ve spent the last few months growing it and getting the condition back and now I’m trying hair extensions so bare with me if my questions sound silly I was thinking of getting the ones from Zala but I have been looking on eBay at 250g packs real remy hair so might get them as like a tester and when I’m sure on how to do then get the more fabulous ones off zala I don’t want to spend a lot of money and then mess them up or find that I can’t blend them or something like that lol just my luck hahah thanks for any help and advice

Marta Joy: You had this hair for a year and they are still this good? I got them and they tangle so so bad. I can barely wear them and I just got them 2 weeks ago.
