It is a common myth that those with thin hair can't wear clip in hair extensions but in fact, those with thin hair CAN wear clip in hair extensions. If applied correctly and with a few extra steps, your clip in extensions will stay put, stay covered and will give you the thick hair you are after!
Tips for those with thin hair:
1. Practice good hair habits - Use good conditioners and shampoos and deep conditioners in order to restore the health of your hair. Overtime, your hair will become thicker.
2. Spray your Roots with Hairspray - Spraying your roots with hairspray before applying your clip in hair extensions will help thicken your hair and will allow the clips to have something to grab on to.
3. Tease your Roots before Applying - Along with the hairspray, this will also thicken up your hair and will ensure that the clips have something to hold on to.
4. Hide the Clips and Give your Hair Body - This is the final step and doing this will ensure that your clips are hidden, creating a flawless finish. Backcomb the crown to create coverage and body.

Hi beauties: this is Samantha from instant Beauty, hair extensions. We wanted to make this video today, because we get a lot of questions from you guys asking about thin hair and hair extensions. It'S a common myth that hair extensions can't be applied to thin hair because they'll slip out or or they'll show, but we're going to show you some tips on how to avoid this. The first tip is to practice good hair habits. This includes using good conditioners and shampoos. You want to use a deep conditioner to restore the healthiness back into your hair. This way over time, your hair will become thicker and it will create a good base for your extensions. The next tip is when you're, applying the extensions before applying it's a good idea to spray the roots with hairspray. To make sure the clips are hidden. The base of your hair needs to be firm and thick enough, so that the clips have something to hold on to then once you're applying the extensions you can tease your hair, you can tease every single layer when you're applying them. So that way, the clips have something to hold onto to show you quickly when you are sectioning, your hair, just tease the roots where you want to apply the extension, and now your clips have something to hold on to the final step after applying. The extensions is to make sure that the clips are hidden, so you want to back comb your hair, starting from the back all the way to the front and apply hairspray afterwards. This will give you lots of body and we'll make sure that the clips are hidden. So that's all for this video. Thank you so much for watching. Im allergic to most volume powders, hair sprays, and cremes on scalp most def can not tease my hair just breaks and my hair is healthy just born with very fine thin hair no amount of product is going to alter my natural genetic hair construction. So what solution do you have that does not require damaging with teasing brush or chemicals galore. Tell me a solution that requires no chemical at all for all people with scalp dermatitis (that has no cure dont say fix that first once you have it you have it for life no cure) and dont say there is no solution only healthy normal dont need extension people can wear extensions.
