Hey guys, how are you it's Layla here and today's look is going to be a little bit of a different look, it's with straight hair and I'm not sure yet what I'm going to call it. It'S kind of like a sleek straight hair, look sort of very red carpet, I would say with a beautiful gown or something like that. I think this look is perfect for an evening out a wedding, a special occasion. Things like that, it could be done on medium length, hair, long hair and with or without extensions, I'm not using these extensions today, because I'm just going for more of a simpler look. But if you wanted to, you could definitely use extensions. So if you guys want to know how I created this, look, then keep watching and I'll show exactly what you need to do. So here's what we're going to need for this look. We'Re gon na need a teasing, comb or brush. This is 73. We'Re gon na need an elastic band one or two. I think one would be now going to need a few bobby pins um only if you're going to be using the next step, and that is to use a few strands while two left's from. If you have extensions like clip in hair extensions, you would need two one clipped wax or when we get to that step, I'll I'll. Let you know again, but or you can use either the extensions or just a simple, dark, headband or one that matches your hair for me would be a dark one and then just some hairspray to set in the teasing that we're going to do a little bit And then my hair is pretty straight already and all I've done is just blow-dried my hair, but at the end maybe I'm going to be using a little bit of a flat ironing at the ends just to have that more of a sleek look we'll see how It looks at the end so in case we're going to you're going to go for that step. You'Re also going to need a flatter and to do that, so that's pretty much it, and this is a very easy look, but it requires a few steps. So the first step is: I've already brushed my hair beforehand, but if you need to you would need to brush your hair and the first thing. What we're going to do is just separate the front portion and put it into a ponytail in the back. So you could use a rat tail comb to do that, but I'm just to use my fingers and just separate the portion that I'm going to be kind of sleeping back. So this is one, and then you want to just kind of repeat the same: make sure that it's it's even and do the same thing over here and what you're doing is just separating the section back towards your ear. Just like this, then, once you have separated the portions of hair at the front, what we're going to do is just put this section of hair up in the back and I'll show you how to do it. So it's out of the way for the next step. So you kind of just want to do it a little twist and kind of attach it there and then what we're going to do with the front sections is basically just sleek them back. You can brush them out again. If you want to mine, are pretty straight already so um we're just going to sleek them back and put them up into a ponytail there. So before you do that, you want to just make sure that it's very very straight and sleek and kind of tuck it in behind your ears. Just like this bring your hair down a little bit for that more of a sleek look and create a hairline out of your own kind of hair here and then sleek it back. So once you have your hair slicked back, I'm going to turn around and show you how to just put it back into a regular ponytail, two or three times the tighter, the better and you can even pull on the hair. A little more just like this. Okay and then at this step, we're going to release the hair and what we're going to be doing is just teasing the front or like the crown area of your hair. So I'm going to do it in sections. So I'm going to separate this crown section for just a moment just like this, and I'm actually going to just tease the crown, but also tease, underneath as well just for some extra volume there. So what we're gon na do is just grab a regular. Maybe one inch section of hair I'll turn around, so you guys can see what I'm doing and then use some hairspray just the balloons. Sorry, ZZ ZZ get scared and then grab your teasing comb and just tease likely it just a little bit there to create that volume and then we're going to do the same thing with the remaining hair. So once we have the sections teased we're just going to lightly brush them out for a more natural look. Last thing I want to do is kind of finish off this looking window you're just going to bring this left behind your ear, clip it in and then just bring this hair right where you separated that section for the front. So it's just going to be right at the edge of that hair hairline. I guess and then you're going to bring that over. So just like this, it's going to be hardly visible, but that's the point. It'S just more of a more of a finishing touch rather than a big effect, so, with the with this end of this weft, you just want to attach it to the backside of the ear on the other side. So we're going to do the same thing from the other side. So at this point we're almost done and the last, if I want to do, is for me this look is all about that sleek hair, that's just in the back. So what I'm going to do is kind of see like move your head around and see the pieces that kind of fold towards your face. You want to just pin those pieces back kind of like at the nape of your neck. So what I'm going to do is just kind of see where those pieces are naturally. So for me, it's just this piece right here and then kind of like this piece right here. So what I'm going to do is just bring them right at the back like right at the nape of my neck I'll show you guys just like right underneath all of the hair and then I'm going to pin that hair back using just regular bobby pins. So at this point, I'm just going right now the ends a little bit they're, pretty straight already, but just to make sure that everything is really really sleek and straight I'm just going to run the flower just at the ends lightly. To make sure that everything is super super straight so again same thing over here and then I'm just going to use a little bit of hairspray just to set everything from the front and from the back. Okay. So once you've slipped slicked everything back and set it with hairspray. This is the finished. Look I'll give you guys a little overview of the look from the side and from the back there we go and then the other side in which it I hope you guys enjoy this look and definitely give it a try, like I said, for the headband portion. If you don't have extensions - or all you have to do - is just substitute these weft for a headband that matches your hair color and you would have pretty much the same effect so yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this look, give it a try and let me know in the comments below how it turns out for you so have a great day and I'll see you guys. The next video bye you

MissLinaLamont: I love this look and it's super easy for straight hair (thick or thin). I don't have extensions, but I think that it looks good without them. Also, my hair in the front wasn't quite long enough to stay back in the hairband, so I added some bobby pins to hold those pieces down.
