Viking Braid And Ponytail With Clip-In Extension Tutorial

Today we're going to be doing this Viking braid style, that's all the rage right now, I'm obsessed with it and I'm going to be showing you how I put my clip and extensions in for my pony tail. I'Ve been doing it wrong for years. I finally cracked the code so to start we're going to start with our side. Dutch braid, it's going to be our Viking braid and I use my fav for texture take over spray. A lot of you been asking me where it's from go to say for comm and they have a place where you can buy it. If you want it, I love it and I highly recommend it so I'm parting off a little section on the side with my fingers, because I don't want perfect parting, so you're going to take about that big of a parting and slip off the top of your Hair and try not you, don't want to pull up the bottom right there by your ear, so I'm just tucking it out of the way so I'll be tempted to grab it and I'm going to be putting in my one-inch extensions on the side. To add a lot of volume to my braids and also length, it's important that this Dutch braid is long, so I'm clipping them in a sideways taking it back like an inch, an inch and a half away from a hairline. So they don't show and then go back and inch or so behind that one and insert the other one. I only use two you could use more if you need to then once they're in I'm going to pick up hair, oh and also I have the sick regrowth from having babies. If anybody knows what I can do with it to make it better, please tell me I'm desperate, so I'm just going to section it into three sections and start doing my Dutch braid incorporating hair as I go until I get to almost the back of my head. Actually, the side of my head, not the back, you now we're pancaking and let me tell you pancaking is very important. Don'T let anybody ever tell you otherwise it helps your grades. Look grown-up and hide extensions, if you put them in like me, so once you've got all pancakes to your liking, tie it off with a clear elastic. Now I'm starting off with a ponytail in the back and I'm leaving out two and a half three inches of hair on the bottom. So when I pull it up, it will hide all of our clips, we're about to put it so I'm going to take my Bella me, hair extensions, the ones with two clips, and I am clipping one on top of the other like so then I'm going to Clip it around the back of the ponytail keeping the clips as close to the ponytail, as I can put them on the sides and over the top done that I'm taking my clips with four clips and I'm taking down a section of hair. And I'm clipping it right on top of the other extensions, not at the top of the party so clip it around and underneath your ponytail, you, the now I'm using my ones with three clips and I'm there's two of them and I'm clipping them on top of Each other then you're taking down another section of hair on top of that one and you're going to do the same thing, clip it right on top of the other SEC, so not at the top of the party. This way I've been doing it wrong. I'Ve been putting them in like I normally would and then trying to pull it up into a ponytail, and it's just a disaster. They show four one and two they're really hurt your head. So this way it helps my ponytail not look so weird and they stay in and they hide better. Once you've got all of your clips in you're, going to take down the rest of the sections of your hair and you're, going to just pull it up into a ponytail, I'm going to backcomb the top of my hair, give it a little volume and I'm pretty Sure you can't ever have too much texture take over in your hair and you're just gon na pull it into like a mid height ponytail you you, then we're going to grab a section from underneath the ponytail and smooth it out and you're just going to wrap It around your hair elastic, I feel like this, makes your ponytails look like you added in a little effort, makes it look polished and less like. I was lazy and I went to the gym today or something like that. Now we're gon na fluff that ponytail sure you could just backcomb it, but then you might look like a back-alley, hooker and you're going for a high-class call-girl. So I'm just gon na grab the bottom of each like little curl I've got happening and I'm gon na pull it apart gives it some texture, and some volume takes your ponytail to the next level.
