Styling heat friendly synthetic fiber is different than styling your own natural hair. I'M going to show you my favorite technique for curling heat friendly, synthetic fibers step-by-step, so to begin, you'll need your extensions, of course, and I like to work on a counter top either in your kitchen or your bathroom, and I wait the hair with something heavy enough To hold it down, while I curl it now remember, to set your curling iron to a heat, that's appropriate for your heat friendly synthetic fiber. Most of them go up to 350, I'm going to work at 300 today and it's easiest to use a digital, curling iron or flat iron. So you know you have the exact temperature, so you curl in the traditional way, but you're gon na hold the curl. Much longer let it wrap around the curling iron and sit there for about five to ten seconds now. The key to really setting in the curl in heat friendly, synthetic fiber is to let it completely cool in the curled position. So I like to do that by releasing it onto my countertop and then letting it completely cool in this position. It takes a few minutes for the hair to completely cool, and you can make sure it is by just placing your hand over it and feel that there's no warmth coming from the hair once it's completely cool you'll, have a beautiful curl pattern. Now. Remember that once you've curled heat friendly synthetic hair, it's going to remain curled until you Flatiron it with heat again. So, even if you wash it, it's still gon na have that gorgeous curl pattern. Straightening heat friendly synthetic fiber is slightly different than straightening your own natural hair. I'M going to show you my favorite technique for straightening heat friendly synthetic first, I like to work on a counter top, either in your bathroom or in your kitchen, and I weight down the extension with something heavy enough to hold it. While I work and then make sure your flat iron is set to a temperature that your heat friendly, synthetic can withstand, most can take up to 350, so it's best to work with a digital flat iron. So you know exactly what temperature you're working at then just holding it in your hand, you make a really slow even pass through the extension and once you've made your straight even pass, then you'll have a straight extension now remember that if you want to get it, Curly again you're going to have to do that with heat styling. This is going to remain straight, even when it's washed, once it's been straightened with a flat iron
