Here'S how to add in tinsel without any tools, simply take three to five pieces of hair and insert it into a slip. Knot with a tinsel color of your choice be sure to use an extra clip on hand, so that way it can hold the hair in place. While you tie two knots right underneath it once you do bring that section of hair right on down and then tie a knot with the tinsel and the hair one side on the left and one side on the right. Some people like to do this two more times, but i find that it doesn't really matter as far as longevity is concerned. So once you tie those two knots, you're then going to tie an additional two more knots right on top of the hair itself. Remember that this method only lasts about two to three days tops.
