Hello, my lovelies its Leila here today and um before I get into the tutorial. I just want to say I'm so sorry about the lack of videos. Recently I feel like I owe you guys, a small apology. It'S just because I have been traveling for a few weeks and getting back and trying to get into the swing of things and with running the business, and also my parents are not actually moving at the end of this week. So it's been pretty hectic, but I promise you guys, I'm so looking forward to setting up my new room, decorating it and sort of starting um filming in my new room. In any case, I'm just trying to get the best lighting. I can today for today's tutorial and today's tutorial is going to be on how to blend the extensions with your hair by straightening it. We get a ton of questions about that, and I'm going to show you a few tricks that I personally do to create. That look so you're going to obviously need your extensions and I've went ahead and put mine in, and you know just apply them clip them in the way. I showed you guys in how to clip in laxa hair extensions. If you haven't seen it then check out that video I'll post the link right here and yes, the same way and you're going to need a straightener, I'm using one by jet black, just a regular straightener, tourmaline, ceramic and you're, going to need a brush to comb Through the hair and then a brush too, I use this because I find it helpful, but any brush to kind of help you to brush the hair while you're straightening it first thing you want to do is separate the hair and I always start with the bottom Layer, so what you do is um. Firstly, you brush the hair and brush the Strand that you're going to be blending in and using a straightener is a great great trick to blend the extensions in the hair together. So what you do is you simply grab the the Strand that you want to blend and you kind of put the hair on top of a brush, and then you grab your straightener and you sort of start in the middle wherever your hair ends and extensions begin. You sort of start straightening the two together and you kind of curled them in so by curling the hair inwards, while you're straining it you're, actually helping the hair. Your hair blend into the extensions, and they kind of you know kind of blend in nicely. So it creates this really really nice natural effect, just like that, and now basically you're just going to go ahead and do that, throw your whole head and I actually don't um, don't section off the whole head. I just section it for the bottom layers, because I find that's where the shortest that's, where my shortest layers are. So that's why I sectioned that off and then I also do the like these hairs, these layers that are, over top, so basically you're, going to do the same thing. You'Re just going to pick up the hair wherever you feel like it's, it separates, or it's not blending and you're going to brush it first. Just like that and then you're going to grab your brush like the brush that you're going to be straightening with just sort of hold the hair up there and you're going to put the straightener and start curling the hair. With the extensions inwards like that. And you see it's virtually impossible to see where my hair ends and where the extensions begin you see like this is where it ends right, but once I do that, it's really really really it's seamless like it's, it's really seamless! You can't see. I can't see the difference, so that's pretty much what I'm going to do wherever I see that the hair starts to separate or starts to like come out, and you see just like your strands with the extensions. So I'm just going to do the same thing. Just grab the hair, the output on the brush and then just grab your straightener and start sort of straightening it, but going inwards, just kind of straightening in and that really blends the extensions with your hair and creates a super natural and blended effect. The same thing for the back layers as well: I'm just going to bring the hair forward with my fingers, grab the hair and brush it first, like my top layer with the extensions then grab this brush and start straightening and then, as I get to the end Of my hair, I'm going to start curling like that and that really blends the extensions with my hair and then you can just go over and parts that you feel you need to like that, and this side is pretty much done. So I'm just going to do the same exact thing on the other side, so I'm going to bring all the hair forward and just start doing the same process wherever I feel I need to blend my hair to the extensions suffer. So let me just do a little demonstration for you guys to see how well the hair and extensions is slide that I'm just going to turn around, so you guys can see that doing this technique really helps to blend the hair and the extensions really really well. I hope you can see it. I know the lighting isn't the greatest, but this is the best I can do at this point. So really that's all there is to. It is just straightening the hair inwards, where your hair and the extensions meet and just sort of brushing it as you go along with the straightener and just do it a few times if you have to, and that's really all there is to it. So at this point, your hair is pretty much ready to be either worn straight like this or in any sort of hairstyle. You can tease you here, you can pin the hair somehow and you know do whatever. Whatever you want, what kind of hairstyle you want for the day, so I hope you guys found it helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to leave them down below leave your comments subscribe to the channel. If you haven't already and again, thank you so much for all your support and love, and I can't wait to see you guys in my new room, hopefully next week, I'll be able to already set up and start filming there. So, thank you so much and I'll see you guys in the next video ciao you

poopie: i ordered my extensions a few days ago & i'm SOOOO excited to get them after watching all these videos! you guys are absolutely gorgeous, thank you sooooo much for these amazing hair extensions! xoxo :)

MakeupbyAmandaCF: You are sooo beautiful Leyla! I am so glad that your posting a makeup tut on this look! Please include blush, lipstick and polish colors for all of us :-) otherwise you know your going to get a million questions asking you lol =) Thanks again for all of the wonderful videos, I always get so excited when you or your sister put up a new vid, I always watch them first! p.s. Good luck with the move! xoxo

pepilaropa: I just got my hair extensions a couple of days ago and I am actually SUPER happy with mine. The hair is soft, doesn't have the dry feeling that some hair extensions do, the colour matches PERFECTLY with my own, and one of my clips were broken, but that's okay because the extensions came with two extra clips =DDD I was not disappointed AT ALL, and I am super pleased with this Luxy product!

Shasta Holly: I just got my Luxy set the other day and I can honestly say these are the softest and fullest extensions I've had. I've heard so many bad reviews but these are actually very good quality extensions. I love them. <3

Crystal Hasenstab: I just got my second set of Luxys yesterday and i am already in love with them.  They are a perfect match color wise and a perfect texture.  I couldn't be happier!!!  You rock!  Thank you for bringing us an affordable yet luxurious product!!!

Kristine Montellano: I know you guys get a lot of hate on your extensions but I absolutely love them! It's taken me a little bit of practice to be able to blend them well but your tutorials are so helpful! They did shed a bit but after I washed them I didn't have a problem at all, you girls are so pretty and the hair is absolutely amazing, thank you :)

Cleo Schuck: Honestly the best thing about ZALA's is that the hair is so soft, it makes it incredibly easy to style, braid and do updos that look so much more of a statement!!

Lacey Martin: THANK YOU so much for doing this video! I am trying to soak in all the info I can before buying these for myself for Christmas. I can't wait to order them!

Luxy Hair: @Beautynut2006 Yes, that is normal with all types of extensions. I use a regular paddle brush (shown in this video) and it works really good, I periodically brush my hair with my fingers as well, to prevent tangling when I wear my extensions straight :)

Luxy Hair: @Laurax0711 Sweetie thank you so much for sharing your experience and honest opinion about our extensions. We're super excited for you to actually enjoy them now! :) xoxo Much love - Mimi & Leyla

Bridgette A. Lewis: I am so in love with ZALAs balayage range! I have naturally very black hair and always wanted to add some lightness to it withour damaging it. That's when I came across ZALAs balayage clip in range. I wear them everytime I want to add a little brightness to my hair. The hair is also so soft and blends amazingly with my natural hair. Love this brand!

dancing1133: i love watching your videos! you're absolutley stunning! you and your sister both=) i would like to ask you if you guys can do a hair care video! that would be awsome. i know you wear extensions but your hair just naturally is looks flawless!!!

lazerquestthunder: I REALLY needed this tutorial for my luxy's :) theyre GORGEOUS and the shipping was super fast. The only problem was having to answer numerous questions about how i get my hair so long :P THANK YOU!! <3 :)

Angie Lilly: Love all your videos and awesome extensions. This video Is so helpful & Your makeup Is flawless.I'm gonna be buying my extensions today after work when I get paid can't wait to order mine:)

Isela_h_g: I absolutely love your channel. I recieved my extensions yesterday, but i cannot get them to blend I have shoulder length hair and its pretty thick. Would love to see a hair tutorial on how to blend short hair.

Krystle H: ahh i love you girls! <3 i can't wait for more videos! i get my luxy extensions thursday or friday and i am sooo excited!

Melissa Landry: wow, that is awesome! :) I was wondering how you can have straight hair with extensions.. I kept curling them. By the way, LOVE the extensions! Only thing is the knots.. I'm scare of brushing too hard and loosing pieces of hairs cause it doesn't grow back obviously. PS: Heat protection? ;)

Mary V. Bowling: WOOOOO another ZALA lover!! We need to make a club, we can all froth over their amazing colour range and super soft sets!!

Олга: Leyla i LOVE your make-up in this tutorial!!! it looks simple and so glamorous!!! ahh i love it!! :D and your shirt and hair ^^. Just wondering, do you girls ever wear the 120 gram set, ever? or do you two perfer just the longer ones? =]

esaMechiex3: I am so excited ! I'm from Ny & i ordered my extensions thursday & i received them today ! thanks for all your help and answering all my questions !

Luxy Hair: @M3llyxx Yes.. like i said in the video, I've sprayed my hair before I started filming ;) As for the tangling.. don't be scared to brush them out, as long as you're gently and careful it should be fine :)

guessxwhoxthisxis: I think it also depends on the quality of the hair extensions. There are extensions that get kinda stringy. But also the thickness of your own hair. If you have thick hair but have thin extensions it will look ridiculous! :P The Luxy extensions seem like a fabulous quality and easy to make them blend in :)

jenaiph: @luvhoneyxoxo I'm 5'2 and the extensions come about 2 inches above my belly button. Luxy's are amazing. I got mine in October, so about 8 months. They tangle a little bit but I don't think I wash mine enough. I purchased the 160gram set in the darkest black. They are so fun!

CityGirlScores: Extensions look so nice ,lately I've been thinking of getting some for myself xo Jessie

Jade Mercedes Fraser: Hey ladies. I have short hair - just above shoulder length - and was wondering if you could please do a video showing how to install and blend your extensions with shorter hair. I really want to buy some Luxy extensions but would like to be sure that they will blend first and know the techinques. Thanks so much for reading this dolls, love ur videos! x

Zahira Floyd: Hi Leyla, Looking for help. I just got my extensions and I love them. However, my hair is extremely thick so you can really tell when looking from behind where my hair ends and the extensions continue. Any suggestions? Am I placing them too low? I followed your tutorial but it is still very visible. I would appreciate any help.

d g: Hi ! , Im from NZ and i sortove stumbled across your page . WOW i am sooo glad that I found it, ive been looking for really good hair tutorials and now I have found them sooo THANKS! , Ive been on the Luxy site and they look gorgeous , as well as both you and your sister , so nice and pretty :) thanks for being on youtube!!!!!

Luxy Hair: @MakeupbyAmandaCF You are so cute and you definitely have a point about posting the rest of the make up/nail info.. I'll try to remember to include in the bottom bar for sure ;) Thank you so much for all the love & support.. It means more than I could ever explain!

Rachel B: you both are gorgeous. im definitely buying them soon! i was wondering, do they dry straight? wavy? or what? thanks!

Olearyan: I've been wearing clip ins for almost a year, ( I have 2 sets (14 and 18 inches), i really need new longer ones, and i'm counting down the days till my next pay day so I can buy yours, I've heard amazing things I love your videos. quick question.. I have pretty thin hair, but I love thick hair (i wear extensions mainly to get thicker, not necessarily longer hair), so with my fine hair, would i be able to get away with 160, or do you think it would be too much?

Charyle Mcauley: Omg - so excited!! I placed an order of your 160g chocolate brown extensions yesterday - but im in the the UK.. so hope it doesnt take too long...cant wait!!!!! Gorgeous hair for xmas here i come!!!!!!!!! :)

Luxy Hair: @DanniiiiA Thanks hun... I might do a tutorial on it in the future one day

Emily Donohue: can't wait to order my luxy hair extensions! ordering them on the 27th, for my birthday on the 11th :) can't waaaait!

Luxy Hair: @charystarx You're so sweet.. thank you! They do work on most hair types, as long as hair texture is straight, wavy, curly or relaxed for ethnic hair :)

Luxy Hair: @DulceMayra555 If your hair is almost black, then #1B would be a better option as it is a warm black color with a brown undertone. #2 is a lot lighter and has a reddish undertone :)

Luxy Hair: @vbcha It would look the same, except that your own hair would be of one length throughout, so I personally always recommend for girls who don't have layers, to wear their extensions either wavy/curly or in different hairstyles, and don't recommend wearing them straight, because it is a bit harder to blend, depending on the length and texture of the hair.. it's very individual.. But the technique would be exactly the same as the one I show in this video :)

Maham Adil: You guys, your make up is always so awesome.. you should seriously consider doing make up tutorials for us.

Luxy Hair: @SKguziman Yes hun.. it's definitely the curler.. I would highly suggest investing in either Cortex brand or Enzo Milano.. both area amazing and curls last forever!

Luxy Hair: @SKguziman Thanks for the request sweetie.. I'll add them to my requested videos list and yes, I do my own manicure :)

Luxy Hair: @8OBHRZ I would suggest to blow dry your hair using a wide, round brush and then style the extensions and your hair together.. like wave/ curl or wear them in different hairstyles... :)

oceanprincess318: No need to apologize!! It's okay!!! I hope you had fun in your travels!!! Decorating a new room sounds fun!!! Thanks for the vids from when you were traveling though!! They were fun to watch!!!

Charyle Mcauley: @Laurax0711 Hi Hun.. iv ordered mine from the UK just over a week ago.. stuck in customs at the moment . How long did it take for yours to arrive? And was there any customs charges? xxx

Luxy Hair: @claireoranii Thanks for all the love & support! xoxo

Luxy Hair: @kimmyt4 Hey hun.. please e-mail us with your full information and receipt to [email protected] so that we can look into your order. Thanks

Taylor Duggan: Does this work with blond hair? I bought extensions, but they arent the same kind as yours, I got them from the salon, and when I do that, it really pulls on my scalp and the clips almost pull out of my hair. And is there a way to blend into your pony tail? Like so you can't tell in ponytails? Thanks :D

Catherine: You are so sweet Leyla and you look so beautiful here!

yeayeayeaokthen: hi! so if you decide to curl your hair...should you still blend it like that first? I recently bought my luxy hair extensions and I feel like my hair doesnt blend at all from the bottom (I don't know if it is because my hair is too thick or what (I really dont think my hair is that thick but still)...but anyway I am using the the 160 g ones). So If I do that, it will blend it well?

klorissa marchetti: another good tip to hide the short peices at the bottom is to take a one inch clip and clip it directly to the piece that is hanging out.

Dianne Waggoner: is it hard to use clip in extensions? or is it something that just requires practice? im ordering luxy hair extensions in about a week when i get my allowance and i was just wondering how difficult it would be to put them in before i get them:)

ILoveAllPurple: I just subscribed I love your channel, could you please do a hair care tutorial? thank you so much

Kimberleymengerink: Very helpfull :)

chocolate6560: Hairextentions are so amazing!

Kikachu: My extensions are to be delivered today yay I'm so exited :D

Luxy Hair: @chuchi100293 Thanks darling... We both only wear the 160g sets because both of our hair is medium-thick texture, and 120g set is only for ladies with fine-medium textures :) xx

TheKiamm: Will you guys be looking into selling the micro loop hair extensions or the keritip hair extensions to use with the micro beads? Love you video's but wanted something a little more lasting.

Judy Johnson: I WANT THEM! ive beeeen watching these videos for weeks! and i neeed to get them soon!

Marlene Mien: Is it okay to use serums or oils on the hair? On the website for foxylocks it says not to but on another website it says it is totally fine. what do you think leyla?

Sonia U.: incredible ! i have NEVERRR thought of that !

leila A: thankk you !! i really wanted to find out how i could blend them !

Alma Pérez: me encantan tus videos, saludos de Mexico.

Sadira C: Hi! I'd like to ask you if you don't mind, which kind of camera do you use when you take the pictures of yourself at the beginning of your videos? Or is it also part of your video camera? Thanks love!

easternhair: thank you that really helped

Luxy Hair: @janafern Thanks sweetie... Can't wait for you to enjoy your Luxies! :) xx

JustinBieberLove4736: really helpfull video..thanks

xlamprini: i just ordered mine yestrday i cant wait to get them wohooo :) my hair is curly naturly but i ill staigthen my hair and use a curling iron to make them kinda wavy

xhappilyneverafter: @LuxyHair im own these and im african american, as long as your hair is permed and your hairline is smooth, they blend very nicely :)

Luxy Hair: @5andradee What the color looks like depends on the lighting conditions :)

Trina R. Brown: Im about to get a full head of highlights! Have you seen the ZALA hair extensions? they have highlighted colours and im so excited for mine to come next week! ZALA HAIR GIVES ME LIFE!

Starstruck530: Ummm so I'm thinking about buying your extensions and I was wondering if they work with layers that are really short because that's my main concern ? (:

MrSasyB: my sister had light brown hair but she recently dyed it and now they're reddish brown. they don't look so different, you can't really tell they're red indoors. now she wants exetensions and she wants luxy hair because two of her friends bought them and they're so happy about them. what colour should she get?

Jade Mercedes Fraser: Hey ladies. I have short hair - just above shoulder length - and was wondering if you could please. I really want to buy some Luxy extensions but would like to be sure that they will blend first and know the techinques. Thanks so much for reading this dolls, love ur videos! x

karinamr: are u wearing the off black or the dark brown? so beautiful :)

Luxy Hair: @TheOleary42 If your hair is of fine-medium texture, then 120g set would be a better match for you :) Would look more natural

all_about_cha: I was wondering if you can do a tutorial with the clip in hair extension for girls who don't have layers in their hair like me. The pics u have on ur website is mostly with girls who have layers n I just want to see what the extension look like on with hair that's has no layer before I place an order. Thanks

aqsa ashraf: If you were 5'8 in height and got Luxy hair extentions. How long would they be? Around where would they reach? PLEASE ANSWER! I would love to buy these! But I don't want them too short on me! Lol

Maggie Pineda: I have been wanting to buy the Luxy Hair Extensions. I feel like my hair will have a hard time blending with the extensions. should I trim my ends first or should it blend just fine?

Luxy Hair: @kimberlysue2287 to be honest i'm not sure hwat clavicle bone is, but your hair needs to be about 6 inches in length for the extensions to blend in, and one length is ok, as long as you follow my tutorial on how to clip them in and use the tips from this video to make them blend. You also don't have to wear them straight, and it is always easier to make them blend when you wear them curly or wavy or in different hairstyles :)

Luxy Hair: @sophziixD I'm actually going to post a Make-Up tutorial for this look tomorrow, and I show the mascara(s) that I used.. it'll be posted to EverythingLuxy channel ;)

nomavna: helpfull thank you I'll watch all

Sylvia Czerniec: You are so gorgeous!! oh my goodness! Great video btw :) and yea you look like kim kardashian. Your look is so unique and pretty :)

Luxy Hair: @heartsxo55 Thank you so much! :) <3

Luxy Hair: @8OBHRZ Thanks hun.. I'm not an expert by any means, and just use a heat protectant before styling my hair with hot tools... You'd be better off doing research on Google with some forums etc, to get more ladies' opinion, as I'm just a regular girl who loves hair.. Not a professional in the industry :)

Luxy Hair: @SugarPlumPrincess91 If taken care of properly they last 6 months to a year + :)

ss: Omg I love your eyebrows color, can you tell me what color do you use on it? or How to Color your Eyebrows? :)

poopie: @SkateAndCheerGirl first time i did it, probably about 10 minutes :P kept having to readjust them! now it takes me about 3-5 minutes to put them in, you get used to where they go!

Luxy Hair: @taylorpyattlover I'm sure you could make them blend if you style your own hair and the extensions the same way... :)

Dana Jade: I really like your eyebrows, how do you get them so good

Luxy Hair: @N1Dreamgurl I'm wearing only 1 set, I don't think I would have room on my head for a second set...lol. The reason extensions probably look different on everyone is how they look depends on the people's hair texture, haircuts etc...

Luxy Hair: @clicklipstick Thanks hun :)

Luxy Hair: I'd be very upset with that too sweetie. We'd be more than happy to help you at [email protected], we'll do our absolute best to solve your problem so please get in touch :)

Luxy Hair: @oceanprincess318 Thanks for being so understanding :) I still have some from France, not sure if I should make another Follow Me around France video or not..

Luxy Hair: @DollBabyBeautyTv If it has been relaxed, then yes :)

Sandra Daniel: @CHICKCHICA sweetie Im a hairdresser I would notice the lighting different but the #2 dark brown I purchased was so far from brown it look more like light brown.

Charyle Mcauley: @kimmyt4 Thanks x :) my thoughts exactly and im sure im going to love them!!!! xxxxxxxxx

Luxy Hair: @CHICKCHICA You're absolutely right.. Lighting is everything ;)

Luxy Hair: @01njk They're shipped out of California, and if you're in the States, shipping is super fast.. 3-5 business days :)

Sandra Daniel: @LuxyHair Ok so why does your hair look so much darker then the #2dark brown I bought. Even in your (How to: Pick Your Perfect Luxy Hair Extensions Shade) video the number #2 dark brown is more reddish and light then the one your actually wearing?

Luxy Hair: @FROqueen08 Well, Mimi's videos / photos are shot with a Canon T2i, and my recent videos/photos are shot with a Canon Vixia HF200 :)

Luxy Hair: @taylorpyattlover Check out our website for all the info along with prices :)

Luxy Hair: @dancing1133 I've actually already done one ;) It's called Requested: Haircut & Hair Routine :) xx
