Hello guys and welcome. My name is holly may and today i'm going to be doing some hairstyles for you using the clip hair extensions. Now i've basically dwindled it down to two looks because um these two looks involve plaits and i know that it can be a little bit fiddly and i don't want to take too much of your time. So um, i'm going to show you these really cool hairstyles. That i've created and got some inspiration from um, just google and pinterest, and things like that, like i've, said on my youtube channel before i absolutely love clip hair extensions, i love the color match, for one is literally insane. It matches my hair perfectly um and my hair is naturally quite thin. I have had a bit of a trim, so it is a little bit thicker than normal um, but these extensions just blend my hair perfectly and yeah. So please keep watching if you would like to see how i created these two hairstyles, okay, so the hairstyle that i'm gon na do today uh the first one is fairly easy and i don't want to do anything too complicated um. Just in case, you know it's a little hard to follow along um, but please be sure to let me know if you like any more um, more complicated, looks hair looks and i will be sure to do that so here i have the extensions on so basically What i'm going to do is i'm just going to pop my hair down and, like i've said before with um my other hairstyles video. I said that your hair always looks better like when you do. A hairstyle always looks better when you are like a day or two unwashed um, but every time i see the film i always have freshly washed hair like today and as you can see, my hair is quite thick bottoms at the moment, because i did have a Trim, okay, so what i'm going to do now is i'm just going to pop the clips in and just so you know if you are wondering basically with the clip hair extensions you get so you get three of the small three clips. Three, you get two of the small three clips um you get two of the big three clips. You get two two clips and then two one clips, so um yeah, perfect. First things. First, i'm just going to turn around and start popping these into my hair. So, as you can see, i haven't popped in the two two clips yet because i'm just going to um have a little fiddle around the front and then see where suits best, i'm just gon na pop the heat defense spray. Now this is the argon heat front spray, and i'm absolutely obsessed with this um. I get it from home bargains and it is literally it's brilliant. You get the hair masks as well, i'm just going to pop some straighteners on just so that my hair is blended. A little bit better, i'm going to do some styling with it in a second, but i'm just going to make sure that my hair is all blended in together. So it looks the same. Look at me trying to brush with my heat defense spray tip for you also, if you do have thick hair a little tip here, as you can see with these, because i have had a fresh trim. The aim is to basically get these two bits, underneath your hair lift up all your hair, do it in like a little blood, bun grip it together. Another way you can do is you can actually pop an extension over? So if you put your hair over and put the extension underneath, that will actually hide um the uh bottom like little sticking out bits, but because i'm curling my hair. I don't really need to do this because obviously it's gon na blend in together. So now i'm just going to mainly focus on the extensions because of the extensions are a little bit crazy from my last hairstyles video. So now, i'm just waiting for the curlers to heat up, i'm just going to move my part in over to this side. Now this is why i haven't put the two clips to the front, because i wanted to see what uh vibe we're going to go for maybe we'll do this parting um and basically, what we're going to do is we're going to draw a little cute little plait, That goes all the way down just going to get my fringe a little bit of my hair, maybe a little bit more right and i'm gon na look a little bit silly for the moment, but just bear with me now this little chunk that we've just taken Out, i'm just gon na tie that in a little bun um, i'm then going to pop the two clips in there we go, and this just gives a little bit more volume on the top half and then now i'm just going to put a little one somewhere Around here, this hairstyle takes me back because i used to always do this hairstyle at school um. It was something i just love doing and basically what i'm going to do a little platformer fringe. So i'm going to get three strands here and make a little plait and then literally as i keep going grabbing bits of hair, like so growing bits of hair. And then it's going to come to a point where you don't need to grab any more hair. But just make sure that you have got enough for it to go all the way down to the bottom. If that makes sense not be enough, and then you literally just you just plain it all the way down. Okay, so now we've got this little look here and now, i'm literally just going to be curling. My hair, with my wand, use that much heat on my hair anymore, but for this hairstyle i will for you guys i forgot to let you guys know that when you're doing this hairstyle make sure you've got a little bit of hair here so that you can Curl, so, oh so that took a while um, but basically, as you can see, i've curled all of my hair and i've just popped a little grip here, just to make sure that it, you know, stays in place and what i'm going to do now is i'm Just going to brush through with my fingers, um, because i don't want it to be too curly, but i don't want it to be completely brushed out. So i really love this look because it looks quite simple um and it is quite simple to do, but it just looks really girly and cute um. I definitely think it's more of a summer revive, but i think you could rock this in the winter. You know so i'm really really happy with this look so yeah. So look number two. As you can see, i have just taken the extensions out to do the second look now. This second look is going to be two braids uh plaits. I think they're called dutch braids where the plait is reversed. Um, i'm gon na see how i go. I might just do the normal french flats um, we'll see but um a lot of people think it is impossible to have your hair in a part in with plaits, with extensions, without seeing the extensions. Obviously, when you have your hair parting at the back uh, this is not the case. This is a little trick that you can do so that your you don't see any of the extensions at all. I may not be able to use all the extensions and because obviously it'll be too much for how you do it. It'S going to be too much on one side um. So the first thing. Obviously, what we're going to do is we're just going to part the hair uh all the way down. Okay, guys um now i actually got off camera and i have taken a few tries to do this because obviously you're dealing with the extensions and not only that you're doing a braid as well. So you have to make sure that obviously the clips aren't showing and things like that, so what i've done to make it really cute is. I was going to do like a little bun, but i thought no i'm going to kind of stop the plait about here and then i'm gon na curl uh. These ends i haven't done yet, but i'm just gon na. Take you over to this side of my head and show you how i actually did this. The clips i used were literally the small three clip the two clip and the one clip um. I mean it's up to you what you want to use, but that's the ones i use is you're gon na just brush the extensions through brush your hair, because you don't want any tangles. You are going to want to do halfway up your head, like here and you're gon na create the parting. So it goes down in a diagonal line. Sort of like this. Okay got this at the moment and i'm going to take the three clip and i'm going to place this upside down and flip that all around okay. So now, what we're going to do is we're going to create another pattern and then for the two clip. I'M literally going to place flat to the head brush all this through get three sections like this, and instead of going over like a normal plant, you're going to go under okay, so you're going to go under grab a piece and grab a piece, and you want To make sure it's quite tight as well looks like your plaques are gon na be quite sleek. Now we have these flats here, so i just redone this side because it was looking a little bit rubbish compared to this one. So now what i'm going to do is i'm just going to curl these little ends here and i'm just going to use my straighteners, and this is the finished look. So that is the second look from today guys and i really hope you enjoyed it. I hope you like these looks and you can create them for yourself. This one, i would say, is probably the hardest to do, because you have to deal with trying to hide the hiding the clips making your head look, volumized and also doing the flat in general.
