Hey guys welcome back today's video is going to be a hair tutorial. I haven't done a hair, video and a hot minute, so I figured we were about due for one so for today. I wanted to show you guys how I clip in my hair extensions and then how I get these big loose curls, this big hair, don't care, I love it now. I do not wear my hair like this. Very often, it's usually when I'm going to a special event going out going to a party etc, and the reason being is just because it takes a while to do. It definitely adds on a good chunk of time to my getting ready routine. So if you guys are wondering that's like why you never see me with my hair like this, when I'm filming, because it already takes me a good amount of time to get ready, get my lights set up and etc. For today's video, I wanted to show you guys how I do my hair. I love wearing my hair. Like this. I wish I could snap my fingers and my hair is all curled and ready to go, but anyways don't forget to subscribe to my channel hit the like button and the notification belt down below and without further ado. If you guys like to see how to get this look, then just keep watching before I get started. I just quickly wanted to share the hair extensions that I'm going to be using today and I'm back to just using clip ins. That'S what I use for the longest time, then I went to halos and then at one point I was doing the halo hair extensions with my hair topper. I don't do the hair topper anymore and now I'm just back to clip-ins, so the clippings I've been using. I want to say for like the last six months - and I am obsessed with them - you guys is amazing, beauty, hair extensions. Now they have their own website, but these are also sold on Amazon. I click lead just wanted to show you guys what this hair looks. Like kind of show, you guys the quality, so that's what one weft looks like this is just an extra weft that I had now these on these amazing beauty, hair extensions. I noticed that the clips are a little bit bigger than other hair extensions that I tried, but I actually like the bigger clips you guys and these clips are really sturdy. I have tried so many hair extension brands before where the clips are so flimsy, they're, not sturdy or they just don't snap. I'Ve had no issues with these clips. You guys they're very secure now. The hair that I have in my head today - or this right here is the number 60. This is 20 inches and it's 160 grams, so it comes with a good amount of hair. You eyes and it's thick on top and then it's also thick on the bottom. Also wanted to mention that if you guys can see that's what the color of the hair is on top, but I add lowlifes through it. So unless you're familiar with like coloring hair, I've been doing this for years, you guys in my sister's hairdresser. So I don't have to put low lights into my hair, but I would suggest just taking it to a hairdresser just to completely match your hair if the solid colors don't match your hair already so again, the color that I do is the number 60 and typically That'S going to be an ash blonde, but I like to add the lowlights into it. So what I do is I buy any kind of low light. Color I go to Sally's. I think it's the ion brand that I do there and I buy eight and and then I mix it with a thirty developer. I'Ve also done it with a twenty developer before and then I just put my own glow lights in it, and it gives me the perfect color. It gives me the perfect match to my hair, so I just figured I mentioned that you can dye this hair. It'S 100 percent real human hair. So if you guys are interested in these clip in hair extensions by the amazing Beauty, I will have them linked down below the good thing about these is that they are pretty affordable. I'Ve seen hair extensions and they can have some crazy prices. You guys, I am not about to pay that the quality of these is great and they last a really long time. This is me without any hair extensions, and now I feel like I'm always growing. My hair trying to grow my hair and I'm doing pretty well, I feel like for the last, like 10 years, I've been trying to like regrow, my hair being a blonde, doesn't help you know getting the foils through my hair. I try to go about two months with getting my roots done or getting foil, and sometimes it's really hard and my sister will yell at me. If I come be like before the 8 week mark and then also you know, I use a flat iron a lot on days where I want to wear my hair straight, so I do keep protected, but we or me, but generally speaking us girls do more around. Like our face, so I'm always like to my sister. Why is the back of my hair growing so long? But then my bangs, like around the sides of my face, I always have breakage and it's like shorter pieces and she said it's because we do more around our face. So I am noticing that, like my breakage, especially it is growing at one point. It was like a mullet, it was really serious, but for the most part like in the bath, my hair is pretty much as long as my hair extensions like as you guys can see. So I'm hoping eventually, we can kind of like get out of this mullet phase, but this is what my real hair looks like. Okay. So to start, I'm gon na use this a little clip to start sectioning off my hair. I mean you can use a hair tie event, it doesn't matter. This is what I like to do so I kind of just like to take a majority of my hair leave a little bit back like the underneath pieces right there, like so, and I'm gon na put the first piece in and I'm just gon na kind of, Like clip it up and then what I like to do is take the West that has the three clips in it like that, as you guys can see, and I kind of like need a brush through these, because I did like curl them a while ago. I nearly brush through them again you guys, and then this is the first one that I'm going to use and I'm just gon na kind of clip it back. There make sure all the clips are secure, and then that is the first one clipped in I'm gon na, like kind of section off the crown area of my hair to put in three more wefts, I just have to kind of make sure I section it pretty Good, so we're gon na put the two side pieces in which are the two clip West and then I'm going to put the four clip left in the back I'll put the side West in I kind of just like section, my hair off, like that. It'S easier to show you guys than to explain it and then I'm just gon na clip one right there on the side and then make sure it's like secure in the back right there and then just kind of do that. So that's one side in and then for the other side, I'm kind of just gon na do the same thing section off, take a little bit of hair from above and then clip this in on the side like so and then make sure it's secure kind of In the back now I know some people like to tease their hair before they put the clips in. I really don't have to. I guess it depends on your hair, your hair type and your hair texture. For me, I don't have to do that, but if you're having issues with the clip staying in, it might not be a bad idea to kind of go in with like a teasing comb, tease the hair or maybe hair spray and then clip. So I just wanted to mention that now for the big left, the forklift left, as you guys can see. So what I like to do with this one is kind of just again lift up the hair, that's remaining and then take it and kind of start. Like kind of Center it in the back of my head now, I know the easier if I was showing you the back of my head, but I'm not gon na. Do that I'm just explaining it to you guys, but basically just centering it in the back of your head evenly and then having some of the hair fall over it. So now we have all of the Wesen okay. So this is what it's looking like so far. I have all the wefts clipped in the one clip weft and sometimes, if you want your hair to look a little bit more bigger, if you will some days, I will do that. I will add more hair extensions in, but for the sake of this video, I'm just gon na use like the one set of clip in hair extensions. For me it is enough hair. So now, obviously it's looking a little. You know crazy on my sides with my short pieces, so that's what these 1 clip weft come in handy for so I'm gon na do two on each side. So it's not really like a set place of where I put these. I kind of just look where I want to fill in so typically I like to do one kind of right here, above where I can feel my you know, bigger web, that we clipped it on the side I like to do one there. I think I like to do is see where you can kind of like see spaces or gaps. That'S a good indication as to where you can put the one clip weft in so I'm gon na do one right there and then I'm gon na do this one. Maybe up here just not too close to where my part is because I don't want you to see the clip but kind of just like clip it in right there, as you guys, can see and make sure you have enough hair to cover it. And then there you go, it makes such a difference. Now you don't see, like my short breakage bangs, and it looks a little bit better come on that I'm going to be using. I have been using, for I don't even know how long you guys I want to say, like maybe six years or more and I'll, try out other curling wands or curling irons. I always go back to this one. So if I can find out, I will link it. It'S gvp, Sally Beauty sells it it's probably on their website, and I believe this is the one inch barrel, not really sure I'll have to double-check, but this is like my favorite one. I use all the time. I always go back to it. It'S like the perfect size. I don't like to go bigger than this, because I feel like over time. My curls will just get too loose to the point where they can look almost straight, so this one works perfectly. I would highly recommend it so I'll try to find it or link it down below. So basically, I like to kind of just separate my hair down the center and bring it all to the front. I like to start in the back and work my way to the front, so I'm just gon na show you guys a couple times how I do this and then I will speed up the video, so basically you're gon na want to take a section like that. You can go bigger or you can go on thinner or smaller, it's definitely personal preference and then I'm going to take the curling wand and without burning myself you guys I'm not wearing a glove by the way. I just I don't know, I'm pretty good about not burning myself but, as you guys can see, I am curling away from my face and I'm just gon na kind of leave it there for a couple seconds and then what you're gon na want to do is Kind of shuffle it or slide it down, and then I like to hold it kind of shake it like that, let it set and then, as you guys can see, there is my first curl now I like this too, because I can touch the top of this And it doesn't burn me now: there's curling irons, that when you're doing the loose curls and wrapping it around, you can't touch the top, and I don't like that at all. I'Ve burnt myself so many times with either curling wands or curling irons, where you can't touch the top. So that's why I like this one as well. So let's do this again. Do a couple more show you guys and then once this is done, I kind of just like flip it to the back set it aside. So again we're gon na take another section. This is like a little bit bigger than the last section and we're going to curl away from the face wrapping around and this one curls pretty quick, you guys and then we're just gon na kind of shuffle it down like that and then we're gon na, like Let it cool I shake it. I don't think that helps I just shake it. I don't know why. Then there we go, we've got our second one, so I'm just gon na kind of set that back to the side and keep going. This is what it's looking like so far. I just wanted to mention that I don't like to do like the bang the front area I like to leave that for the end. So that's what that sides kind of looking like, as you guys, can see, and then I already started on this side. So I just wanted to show you guys how I do this side I'll. Do a couple just to show you so we're gon na take a section of hair and then we are going to wrap the hair around the wand. Like so away from the face again - and I know some people will do like they'll alternate they'll go away from the face and we're toward the face away from the face and we're toward the face, or you can do all inward toward the face. So it's definitely personal preference. I like to have my curls facing outward or away from the face. So that's what you guys are seeing right here. So we're just gon na slide that out we're gon na jiggle it let it set, let it cool and then voila. We have our beautiful, perfect curl. Also I don't know if I mentioned, I go with the 20 inches because obviously I'm curling, my hair, so the curls are gon na make the hair look a little bit shorter now for my clippings, it's typically 16 or 18 inches. So I just figured I mentioned that since we're doing loose waves loose curls, I like to, have my clippings be a little bit longer and I do have a separate set. I have a set for when I wear my hair, obviously like this and then for when I wear my hair straight. It'S just easier like that. Now we're gon na do these front pieces right here. I know it's looking a little bit crazy, I'm just debating. If I want to divide this like vein area into two pieces or not um, I can probably get away with just doing this. One big chunk like this, so this is how I like to do it you guys I kind of go a little bit higher than I've been going and I wrap it around like so, and I kind of like flip it up. So we have like a really nice curl. You guys will see shortly. I don't like to go higher than that because I just feel like it looks weird. Some people go all the way up. I don't, then we're gon na slide it out and sometimes I end up having to recur a lot. But typically I don't, but I do like these front pieces to be like a little bit higher or fall a little bit higher than the rest of the hair. So it's why I a Carl a little bit higher and then, as you guys, can see it's a little bit shorter. So that's what I like to do. I might have to like readjust it or we curl it again once I brush through the curls. Generally speaking, that's what we do so, let's do this side. We will take this piece right here, wrap it around flip it up right now. I know you guys can see my bangs, but when this falls back down, you won't slide it down. Step is the most important step and it's going to be to brush out of the curls. Now you can go on with hairspray before or after. So I think what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na hairspray, I'm gon na even hairspray before and after who knows, but I'm just gon na kind of like hairspray, my hair. If you will my curls and if you guys are wondering the best hairspray ever made, is the Tresemme tres two? I love this. The tres two spray, but it's the number four. This is the best stuff. This is like a little mini travel one, but I have been using this for years. You guys like well over ten gears. So now we are going to kind of just brush kind of start downward, and then you can work your way up, brushing out the curls. Like so, and this just makes it look so pretty you guys, you see how big of a difference brushing the curls out makes so I'm just gon na kind of continue to kind of separate brush them out, and then I might have to go in and recall. Some pieces, if I feel the need to usually I don't it's always like. I said it's usually like in the back. If I missed a piece or two, oh, when I wear my hair like this with the big loose wavy curls, I like to go a step further, the bigger the hair, the better. So I like to take it kind of pick like this, as you guys can see, they sell these at Sally Beauty or probably even Walmart or Target you can get them anywhere, probably even Amazon for that matter, and I kind of like to I don't know: tease Upward with my curls - and this just makes your hair so big - you guys, like you - see how like ginormous it's making it so I kind of like to do this. I just think it gives it more volume. It kind of makes the curls look a little bit messy, but I like it you guys so I kind of just like to kind of tease the curls. If you will make the hair look kind of big like so. I just want to show you quickly, like kind of what it looks like from the back again, I might have to go and kind of like recall some pieces. Hopefully you guys can see it, but I just love it. You guys still. Actually, I just wanted to mention. I went in and kind of like teased, the top of my hair. That'S a step. I always do, but it's like totally personal preference for me, the higher the hair, the closer to heaven but anyways. I will try to link, or I'm pretty sure I can find that curling wand, but it's such a good curling one. You guys, I absolutely love it. I will link the curling wand and I will also link these extensions down below but anyways. That is it for this video. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it. I hope you have a wonderful week and I will see you in my next video bye.

A. Rosa-Gonzalez-Avila: Love how your hair looks curled!!

Janet's Planet: I think your hair still looks nice and long even without the hair extensions. I'll tell you what I used to blow dry my hair from start to finish then go in with the flat iron after that. I felt the same way that my hair wasn't growing and looking broken. Since I've learned how to style my curly hair and have eliminated 80% of the heat, my hair has grown soooo long! I haven't had hair this long since the early 90s.

Donna Doyle: Your hair is amazing! ❤️ Looks fabulous!

Beach Life: I was having the same breakage in the front when I used to get my hair bleached with highlights, your hair looks about the same texture as mine and it just can't take the bleach so it breaks off. My hairdresser suggested I just go to using color, it has workout wonderful she uses a light blonde carmel/honey shade and brushes on my roots and sporadically splashes ends of hair so it looks like my hair is highlighted and it's way more healthier because color actually makes your hair look thicker and as much much healthier than the bleach, the bleach will continue to break your hair. I've been doing this for 5+ years and I'm so happy she told me about this...my hair is in great condition now.

Yvonne Anderson: I just found this. Sooooo beautiful!!

Quick Tips: Such a great video! Deserves more likes!

Sarah T: Hey! Do you still wear your hidden crown crown topper? I've watched your review of that a couple of times and am still considering but wanted to see if you had an update with that since it's been a while

Tony Scigliano: Hi, What brand would you recommend for a topper, light(ish) density, 20", and silk top? Your hair looks great:)

Momo Parent: Sunglasses can also tear out the front sides of hair strand by strand each time you put them in and off. I like your french manicure Ashley, how did you do it? Thanks!

Jacey Bennett: Ashley do you like these extensions better than the hidden crown hair? ... Or better than any others you've tried?

DutyRon: I enjoy your channel an I am sending you positive vibes from New York City stay safe!

Ashley Brown: You're so beautiful! Love your hair! What lipstick are you wearing in the video?

vera bianco: Do you sleep with them on? If not do you put them on every day? Just wondering. They look great but your own hair looks good too.

Beach Life: Why did you stop using the MHOT hair extensions?
