Zala Hair Extensions - Extremely Honest Review

I have naturally really dark brown hair. Almost black and i went blonde in august, so i actually today got my hair lightened again, not sure how light i want my hair to be overall, because i have to do it kind of gradually. So this is what it looks like right now. I do like it, though, so i actually did order these extensions and thank god they seem to be somewhat close to my hair color, so we're gon na try these out. I did have someone comment on one of my hair extension videos. I believe i don't remember, but somebody commented asking me if i would try zala, hair extensions. I had never heard of them when she said it, but i looked them up and i wanted to try them just because something new and they had a black friday sale. So it wasn't too horrible in price. They are kind of more on the expensive side in my opinion, but so i'm just going to show you guys kind of what they look like and then i'm going to put them in my hair. Okay, so first they came in this bag, which i thought was interesting. It has like a handle, they made the bag so that you cut it on this line. So if you have to return them, you can just peel off this sticky tape and reuse the bag which i liked. I think that was interesting and different. I'Ve never seen that before on anything. When you open up the extensions, this is the box, they come in kind of hard to open, but it's like velcro. I like that. It'S like shiny, like that way in on the back, and then you open it up, and this is what you see there's this. Like little kit here, i haven't opened that at all, so i don't even know what's in there and then the extensions on this side so exciting. It'S like christmas from my hair. This is what's here in this little kit thing. Let'S see what we have. Oh, oh, my god, so many things. Okay, so there's just a bunch of papers here, ads coupons, um return, label cool, this girl's hair looks so pretty, doesn't it. This is what i'm hoping my hair will look like. That might be a different story. Okay, there's this um book, i was going to say a little book, but it's not very little. It'S kind of thick. Oh, this is kind of nice, though. Actually, it's a book of all their shades and information on all their different types of extensions, um, hair, styling products. It'S that same girl, she's, so cute. Look how long that hair is on the on this side, jesus christ, and then the extensions did come with these products. We have hair extension, hydrating mask hair extension, conditioner, hair extension, shampoo, your extension treatment, revive me. It'S like a spray, so that's kind of cool. It actually comes with a lot of stuff um, which i think is nice, especially for the price of the extensions. When you open up the extensions. It looks like this in this case and then there's a little picture on the back. I will put all of the exact details of the hair extensions in the description. So if you are curious on all that, i do know it is 20 inches. So that's how long this one is, but if you want to know colors and grams and all that i'll put that in the description or you can comment any questions also, i am pretty good. I think about answering questions so if y'all want to comment, so this is what the extensions look like when you open them, they're, really really shiny, they feel really thick. They are all kind of like they're, like really even on the bottom, like it's not um. You know like thinner on the bottom, so when you look at it here, this is like how the warranty, i guess, works for this. If you break this part off, then you can't exchange or return them, but it does. Let you open the whole thing pretty much to see if the color matches this is like obviously lighter than my hair um. I'M gon na still try them on for the video just to see what they look like. If it's like looking crazy, then i'm just gon na dye. These extensions, because i just don't have like the energy in me to return them and exchange them. They took a while, but not too long to get here like they took like a week or two, but they look super cute um. This is a clip and you can see it's got like a little lace kind of thing going on there, so i'm actually gon na go put these on my head. I won't record that just because it's like boring, no one wants to watch that, but i'll put them on my head and then i will come back okay guys. So i'm back. I have the extensions in my hair and i have a few things. I would like to say so. First of all, i actually really like this color, i think um. The color is obviously lighter than my hair, but i think it for the most part does blend like from far away. You really can't even tell, but up close you can tell like it's pretty obvious. The hair is super super shiny. I have more texturized hair. I don't always like when hair is super shiny, because it's kind of noticeable, unless i like, really flatten my hair or curl. All of it, so i don't like that. It'S super shiny and it's like it's just too shiny. Like i don't know, maybe i'm gon na try washing it and see if that helps. I'M gon na show. You guys also the other thing that i don't like about these is, and i got ta stand up, so i can show you. The hair just looks really choppy. In my opinion, um, you can kind of see it just looks like a like. I had a bad haircut or something like it's just very choppy and it doesn't flow together. So yeah, that's what it's looking like in the back um. I can just tell that it's like so choppy. It doesn't blend together at all. At the end, it just looks really bad, in my opinion, the front's not too bad, but the back. I just i do not like at all so my other problem i have with these extensions. Is that and i'm going to take out a piece just so you can see what i'm talking about the pieces are extremely long, like a lot of them do not even fit on my head because they're just too long. So this is the three piece now it doesn't look like huge, but it's very long and the five piece is longer than this one. So the five pieces, like you know from like here like down here and it's like my head - is not that wide. You know so i was able to fit on one piece directly across my head and it's going from like ear to ear, and i have all these pieces that are so long and they just don't fit right on my head. So what i had to do was i had to put the three piece on and fold it like that and put a bobby pin in so the pieces are sitting like that on my head, because these clips are just too long. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. I don't like it personally as someone who's bought and worn extensions before it just means for me, because i probably cannot wear it like this again. I would just need to not use all the pieces, and now i know if i were to ever order from them again. I could probably be fine with just the five piece set and not the nine piece set. So if you're someone who has thinner, hair or shorter hair, you don't really need the volume like that, then i would definitely recommend going for the five piece set over the nine, because this is just like it's not working for me. Not gon na lie right now. I'M a little disappointed. The only thing i'm really happy with right now is the color, and that's just not enough for me. What i'm gon na do right now. Is i'm gon na try to curl it and see if it blends better? I really hope that this works um. I like my hair, curled, better anyways, so i was going to curl it one way or another. I'Ve already opened them, so i can't return them. I don't know how to fix this, so we're gon na curl it i'm gon na come back. Hopefully it looks better um. That'S all. I can really do right now, all right guys. So this is my hair curled not gon na lie. I actually like it a lot better now that i curled it it's still very shiny, but it curled really nice, which actually, i think it's curled, the nicest of all the extensions i've ever had. So that's a plus, i can show you guys the back so overall. I would say that these extensions are they're all right. I mean they're, not bad they're, not good. I don't like how choppy they are um. They seem like they need a lot of work like you have to cut them yourself, because i'm gon na have to trim these to make them less choppy or curl them all the time, because it looks fine curled, but straight. No, absolutely not it's just too choppy. It'S super super shiny again that could change if you wash them. I don't really know. I haven't washed these yet they're kind of expensive. Honestly, like i honestly, don't think that i would buy these again just because of all the cons and how much they cost um. It could be obviously different results if you have different hair types than me, i have a more textured hair type, so i think that might be my problem with these extensions. If you don't really have textured hair, these extensions might work out better for you. I'M satisfied with them um, i'm glad that i got to try them because now i know these should. Hopefully you know last a while um i'll give it some time. If i have any more updates, i can make another video, of course, if they um they go bad really fast or if they last really long or if i wash them and they're less shiny, whatever i'm gon na end.
