So a tip for anybody with short and miserable hair, just like tuck your hair into a turtleneck, and that way you just look kind of like like no one will ever be able to tell that your hair is short and miserable. You just look like the mom and spike kids, really like casual and hi everyone welcome back to my channel and welcome back to hair week. I guess you could call it so besides the tanning routine, the most requested thing on my channel is to do a how I install my Bellamy, hair extension, video, because apparently you guys think that my hair extensions looks very natural with my own hair. That is obviously a huge compliment. Thank you so much, but it doesn't really have to do with how I install my hair extensions, it's more or less, like you guys, obviously have seen me without hair extensions. Before I assume I mean you did in my last video, but before I don't know if you have but now, obviously you have it's a little bit embarrassing and, as you can tell by my very short and thin hair, it's very very layered. It'S basically living its own life here. So obviously, what I have to do is that I have to layer my hair extensions, because maybe I should just show you my hair sessions and, as you probably know already, I am wearing Bellamy Bugattis and I have an entire unboxing video of this and also how I mean it's the same video but I am showing you how I dye my hair extensions and all of that, so I will definitely link that video down below and you will be able to click on the video at the end of this video. So I am just going to show you guys what I mean with a whole like layering thing. So, as you can tell, these are the extensions and I have just dyed them and flat ironed them and styled them a little bit. I think that it's a little bit hard to layer, hair extensions if they are curled or like if they have some like weight to them, so I always flat on them. First, I usually don't wear straight hair, but whatever so yeah. This is what they look like and they look like they look so natural they are cut beautifully and they're, not just like chopped straight off, so I mean, if you don't want to layer extensions, if you don't feel like you want to go to the hairdresser. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you definitely don't need to layer. Your extensions, but I just feel like my hair, is so layered, it's so choppy and short and like thin. So I just feel like layering. My extensions will just make them look. So much more natural, so yeah. That is what I'm going to show you guys today and of course I will show you how I install them. It'S definitely not very hard. If I do it in, I think five minutes. If I'm really fast ten maximum. Okay, then, so now I have the towel ready for now. Okay, so this process is a little bit weird. I will say that I will probably look crazy while doing this, but I don't really care anymore anyways. We are now just going to put the hair up into a up into a. Was it that you guys call. Is it fun bun? I don't know okay, so we're gon na put it here. Oh god just broke a nail, or did I yeah? I did whatever. Okay, so what I usually do is that I put a two clip weft in the absolute bottom of my hair. I will show you guys this later on, like that, and then I will take the three clip weft and I will put that in the back of my head, so I have put my hair up in a bun because I don't, I obviously don't want to cut My own hair, because I know how my own hair is layered by now. I know where I like how I want my extensions layered, if that makes any sense so yeah, so we clip weft over the to clip weft and then I will take a four clip. Weft, I think anyways got a lot of hair. I love it though: okay, okay, okay, so then I will take a four klick west and I will just put it here like so like that, so on top of that side I will put another four clip weft. So this is obviously the side where I have the most volume. I have my hair parted that way, so I want that kind of like fullness on that side. If you know what I mean, because I don't know if you've noticed, but I always put my hair behind my ear on this side, and that is only because my hair is so extremely layered on that side that, if I were to like, if I were to Leave it as it is, it would look a little bit unnatural and very extension. Looking, if you know what I mean it kind of looks, you know a little bit but classy to have your hair that are not so weird, okay, so we're moving on with the volume West. So this is obviously a volume West and I don't know how many grams is. But this is a lot of hair and this one is actually the one that I'm putting on this side. Where I took my hair behind my ears, so yeah I'm just going to yeah, I need a mirror so yeah. I am just going to put it like this, and this has double clips, which is great because it is kind of heavy. So you definitely need that extra those extra clips, and now we have a three click West and a two clicklist left, and I will put the three clip weft on the side. I know that it seems like it's a lot of hair on this, but it's not really. I mean it is, but it's not really, but you know when I part my hair it will. It will make sense. I I promise it will make sense. Okay, for the last one is a two clip weft, and I will just put it up here: God hold on yeah there. It is so I'm trying to put the west's where I normally would put them, because that way, I know for sure that they will look good um at the end of this process. Okay, so, like I said I look crazy right now, but don't worry it will look really good in the end, so I will just put it in the back and then just kind of like part it so that I know that it will be equally on each Side, I think that that yeah, I'm pretty happy with that, and then I will just brush it through to make sure that we don't have any knots or tangles in here so yeah. I will just zoom you guys in a little bit, because I think that it is much needed because you guys can't really tell like. I can't hold my hair like this and cut it like that. So I will assume you guys in hold on so this is obviously a very weird angle to be in so now I am just going to put some hair at the back. I like to work in smaller sections. It just makes me feel, like I'm, obviously not a hairdresser. I forgot to put that in as a disclaimer, but I'm not, but it is smarter and you do get a little bit more control when you work with smaller sections anyways. So now I will start with this part right here: yeah, I'm just going to take the scissors and do like this, and that way it will just it will make them a little bit thicker and it will. I know it will kind of create a little bit more, a little bit more of a volume in the bottom. That makes any sense, and then what I like to do is that I just take my fingernails like this and put like this like it. You don't need much at all, but, like I said, I want to do a little bit of layers, so I just take the scissors. Let'S see if you actually can see here - and I do like this - I cut, but I kind of dull. So I kind of oh - I don't want to call it like. I glide the scissors down, so I'm just going to take a little bit more. Take the scissors and kind of like glide them down here and you don't need the hair to be wet. It'S okay! If it's dry doesn't really matter, I just feel like I get a lot of more like I get more control when it's dry, so yeah. I do a little bit like this, and I do this because this is the way my own hair is cut. You guys don't need to do this. You guys can like if you want to cut your hair just cut like I did like that, you don't you definitely don't need to layer. Your hair. Don'T worry so now to make sure that I know what hair is cut and what hair isn't cut. Yet I'm just going to put this around here and we're just going to continue with some more so then we just continue with some more, as you can tell here, is the same thing: it's very thin in the bottom. So just we're going to do with this little technique. First, so weird sitting here and cutting my hair and then I will also take some outer outer hair God in my vocabulary today, you guys deserves an award okay. So then, I just take this and I slide cut and slide okay. So now you obviously saw what I did at the bottom of the extension. So I'm just going to show you guys what I do at the top. So this is where it gets tricky, because my hair is just because my hair is that short. I need to kind of layer my extensions to make them blend into my own hair, and that is not always the easiest task, especially when you, when you're, not a hair, stylist I'll. Take the part. Okay, I'll take the part here, and I will just be kind of brutal about this. I will cut it where my hair stops. I will not like cut it off completely. I will just cut and glide okay jump. I think that I am pretty happy with this side now I have. The shorter kind of layers going on here in the front could be a little bit sure. Perhaps so I just have to stop and address something, because you know you guys are probably wondering by now. Why are you going to a professional hairdresser to do this, and my simple answer is that I don't trust them um. I know I don't I've had so many bad experiences from it, so I actually stopped going to the hairdresser think it was what was it five years ago or something? First of all, they can't do my hair color, because it's a box dye and I can't change it, and I can't obviously go to a hairdresser and say that hey, I really want to dye my hair. Could you please use this box dye mmm? I mean some hairdressers might, but I just feel like it's so unprofessional and it's kind of offensive right right. So I think that I am pretty much done now. So, as you can tell, I fought with my hair to the side it kind of like flows, so yeah, I'm pretty much done now and, as you can tell you have the layering in the front that will look so gorgeous to my own hair. I mean you guys will see now in a minute. I mean it's not that much of a difference, but it definitely makes the biggest difference when you are blending in your own hair with this, because before this I could not wear straight hair. You could definitely tell where my own hair was so yeah so before I forget about it, if you're new to extensions or if you have never cut your extensions before ever and you're a little bit unsure of where you should place, your extensions or you know when You'Ve cut your extensions right, you want them to be in the same place, always obviously so what I did in the beginning before I knew that you know the to put West would be down here and whatever, because you can kind of tell like if you hold Them up to the light you can kind of see how they're cut like how long they are and stuff like that, when you're getting used to this, you will know what I mean, but if you're new to this or if you just have a bad memory or Something you could just put different color of nail polish on the clip, and then you just draw a head on a piece of paper and draw arrows to the different parts of the head, and then you mark out the different colored nail polish, and that way you Can actually, you know, keep track of where you're supposed to have your hair extensions, and you know you can just hang that note on on your vanity or in your bathroom or something like that. So that's a really great tip. This is the amount of hair that I will throw away. Today I mean it is quite a lot of hair. I mean it looks like looks like an animal, so now I'm going to show you guys how I put my extensions in so. First of all, I need to apologize for my greasy looking hair. It is wash day tomorrow, so I'm just going to turn around, because I mean you guys can't see anything if I am in the front okay. So now you can obviously see at the back of my head. I have just dyed my hair. I am so sorry, actually I'm going to read diet tomorrow because, as you can tell it's cream orange here and then you have the roots and they are a little bit darker. So okay. So the first thing that I'm going to do is that I'm going to keys there - and I do this with the same brush that I usually like brush it with nothing special just a little bit, and then I put a two clip West down here now. If I were to go through like a party or an event or just about my day, I would definitely put hairspray on top of the keys hair, and that is only because my hair, so like slippery, I usually I'm not this picky about my sections. I just put them in I'm very, very fluffy because I usually don't have time to sit and part my hair like this, but I'm just going to tease the hair. I know that it's not good for the hair to keep it. You don't have to remind me. I know like I cannot not tease my hair because first of all, I won't volume. Second of all, they will come off if I don't take my hair okay, so that was a sweet click left and now we are moving on to the four clique West that I will be using so now, I'm starting to build kind of like in the front As well so I will tease the hair, that's on the side here as well, so I will just keep like that and then I put in 1/4 clip West looks like this, and I will put that in the front here. I hope you guys can see now what I'm doing, but I'm sewers done with the back of my head. I think this is it pretty much so now, I'm going in on the side where usually just put my hair behind my ear, and I just go in like in the middle and in the back like so and on the side here, and I keep this hair. So now I will take the volume West and I will place it on the side here. Like I said this, one has two clips, but I won't use them both because we take these out when I send you this video now I will move on to the other side. Oh, but like you guys, are seeing I'm so sorry that you guys need to see this mess of a hair today, but just proof that I don't have good hair days enjoy every day. So I'm teasing this side now of my head I'll, put in a full clip left and here right. So this is a three clip weft and I will just put this side here so the last one I will put like straight in the middle, and I will just piece a teeny tiny bit and then I will put it, but you just put the hair for It so yeah now I just tease it a little bit more shocker right and yeah. As you can tell, my own hair is blending in perfect to the extensions so yeah, I'm pretty happy, I'm pretty op. We did a good job today, guys good job. Thank you for being here with me. As my moral support, I mean it's almost always very nerve-racking to cut your new, very expensive, hair extensions, so I definitely feel you - and I really hope that this video helps you through this - that we could do this together and I'm definitely not a hair person. Obviously I mean I am obviously not treating my hair right with all that teasing and hairspray, and all that I know that. But you know it's my hair. I can do what I want and I obviously don't recommend anybody to abuse their hair as much as I do with that being said, thank you so much for watching this video. June Olsen ‘Rood’: This is wonderful. I did my hair vibrant red today. I have tons of hair ext. so I will be dying them same color and your helping figure out so I get a lot of fullness and a lil bit of length. You are so confident and very inspiring to a lot of us that has not had an easy life and want to bring a bit of joy and confidence in our lives. I, my whole life everyone loved my red hair. Stopped me all my life so I am glad I’m back to it. Altho I’m a bit older. I thank you for bringing some joy out here. Especially during the pandemic now. Keep bringing more videos. Your inspiring so many. You remind me of myself when I was young. ❤️

Kristen Kuselias: I’m shocked you color your own hair!!! You never need to go to a stylist when your hair looks that amazing! Great great job! Would you mind telling me how dark your natural hair is and what color you use? I’m about a level 4. Mine is dark and a little cashier but it pulls red! I cannot find anyone who can do my hair color, so I’d like to do it myself. I’d like to make my base a little blonder with some warmth. Like buttery blonde. So if you wouldn’t mind telling me what color you use.... just as a guide, the shine alone is amazing! Thank you so much . Also are you using a hair shears??

Danielle Salvia: You absolutely can bring your own color to the salon! We have clients do it all the time in the salon I work in. Also it’s recommended that you go to a specialist like me who specializes in extensions, wigs and hair pieces into to have turn cut in properly. And if you didn’t want to use box dye you can absolutely have your color matched. This is what l do for a living I match people hair to their extensions and l color their hair and their extensions. I tell everyone it’s all about who you go to and you definitely get what you pay for. I do $1500-3000 hair cuts and colors with extensions for a living. I definitely would research specialist in your area

Marie M.: You should totally rock the short hair. You look gorgeous!

vondadover1978: very awesome video!!!

Teresa Rob: Love your hair color!

Karen Perkins: Ok I’m new to clip in extensions. I’ve always had fine hair but a lot of it. Lost over 50 lbs over 9 months, not a super fast period of time, but lost some hair. It’s pretty much inevitable. Until my own hair grows back, (taking good quality vitamins, Nutrafol, which are making new hair but also growing the hair I have crazy fast), I need some help. While I have enjoyed wearing the extensions straight, I LOVE & have always worn my hair layered. Just my personal favorite look for me. I was beginning to think it was going to be impossible UNTIL I saw YOUR video. Idc if it’s from 4 yrs ago—it’s extremely helpful. I was struggling with coming up with a process to know where to place each extension quickly. The different color nail polish & mapping the colors over a drawing of a head is genius!!!! So excited to create my layered look!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Any hacks pls post. And I love that you don’t follow all the rules. Lol

Kelly Wolfe: wow I know nothing about hair extensions so this was really interesting to watch

IBI Channel: Ur a pro ❤️

kanika Johnson: iv been doing my own hair for years I dye it bleach it cut it ext.. I dont trust hairdressers either I get my hair blonde in two separate applications easily and no damage now where that wasn't the case at a hairdresser alot of application and damaged lol also you ask them for a trim and they cut alot off

AlekSSasha: My hairdresser chopped off one of the pieces of my extension as a blunt cut! I mean wtf!!! I realized that when I took them off and one of the pieces is short and blunt cut :(

Maria FMV: That's amazing... You're beautiful.. I wish I could have so much hair... I also have extentions..but they're not as good as yours...

Evelina Hestner: you did a really good job but please get some better scissors. the ones you’re using isn’t sharp enough and will just cause damage. i’m studying to be a hairdresser and it’s just better to use good scissors when you cut your own hair or extensions (:

A 13: you are amazingggggg...kisses from greece
