What'S up beauties, it's lindsay welcome back to my channel today. I'M super excited to bring you two valentine's hair tutorials, both featuring all bellamy products. I am now a bellamy ambassador, which i'm super excited about, so i want to show you guys some styles starting out that you can do with their hair products. So in this video i'm conquering my fear of round brushes and blow dryers. I think it just looked complicated to me. I was like i don't think i can do this. Also, when i was little my sister decided to use a round brush in the shower when my hair was wet and it got stuck in there. My mom had to get it out. I it's traumatizing, so since then, i have not used round brushes on my hair, i will say i cheated with my natural hair and just used a flat iron to do like five different jumbo curls and just pin them up. Um, this tutorial is more about the extension so yeah. I didn't really do this blowout technique with my natural hair. So as brad was explaining in his video the blow dryer you use, plays a very large factor in how your blowout is going to look. So you want to make sure you do have a good blow dryer that you're working with today, i'm going to be using the bellamy ion air professional digital blow. Dryer. I'M not just saying this. This is honestly the coolest i've never seen a digital screen on a blow dryer. Maybe i just i'm not hyped to blow dryers, but this is the first one i received that has a digital screen on it, which i think is super cool when they crafted this blow dryer. They definitely wanted to take into consideration that you want a minimal drying time, because no one likes standing up there with a blow dryer forever and feeling like it's taking so long to dry your hair. So they wanted to create a blow dryer with a quick drying time that also protects the hair from heat damage. What i really like about this blow dryer is as intense as it looks. It'S actually very, very lightweight, there's also over 30 different temperatures and speed settings on this blow dryer, and it has a longer life expectancy than your typical blow dryer. Now this one came with two nozzles. I am going to be using this one with the ridges in it today. I think this is the curling one and the other one's just the smoothing sleeking one. The blow dryer also comes with this diffuser, which i've yet to use, but i am interested to see how this works on my natural curls, but i haven't used it yet i'll, let you guys know, but it looks really cool and it feels cool all right now. Let'S quickly go into the round brushes, which i told you guys i previously had a fear of, because i've just had bad experiences but conquering the fear today. So if you go to the professional styling section of bellamy is where you will see their different brushes. I have two round nylon, styling brushes. This is what we're going to use to do the actual blowout, because you want that heat to kind of go through the brush and onto the other side, where you have that hair. I also have two boar bristle styling brushes and then lastly, is the teasing brush, which is great for just teasing the hair. When you put the clipping in. If you have thin hair like me, and the extensions might be a little heavier than you're used to teasing. Definitely helps so getting into the blowout itself on the extensions today, i'm going to be using the bellissima off black extensions. These are 22 inches and 220 grams. You want to start with the hair, like 80 dry. 70. 80. I think i think it's like around 80. um and really just more focused on the tips and if you don't want to wash all your extensions, then just dampen the ends of the extensions, because this is really where you're going to see that body so, like. I said the extensions are like 80 dry they're, not dripping wet. I'M going to do my best to explain this. If i suck at explaining it, i'm going to lead you over to brad's video, because he does a great job explaining it, but basically i've just clipped the extensions onto a bellamy, hanger and just literally hung it on the wall and then i'm taking the round brush From underneath, i'm just blow drying it down into a curve, and this is what's going to add all the body and give you that blow out. Look now. This isn't just going to take one time. You don't just do it one time and then it's done. You want to kind of leave that blow dryer on there until the hair is pretty warm if it's still wet you're, not going to get that body that you want. So you do want to make sure the hair is all the way dry. So when using that round brush, you can kind of round it back up and then roll it out and then round it up again and that's going to make sure that you're getting all the hairs, dried and then you're getting a lot of body in the ends Of the hair and girl, when i tell you this was a learning experience for me, the first time i did it, i was like that. Don'T look like how it's supposed to um, so if this is your first time ever attempting to do a blowout, you may not get it perfect, that's! Okay! But it's honestly a lot easier than it seems, and i think i was making it harder on myself than it needed to be um but yeah. Once you just get that hair locked in the brush rolling up rolling out rolling up again and then kind of twisting it at the end with that blow, dryer you've got the perfect blowout look. I know it's hard through a computer screen trying to learn a lot of people are more hands-on learners. I definitely am myself, but hopefully i'm giving you a good visual, so you guys are able to do this at home. The blow dryer is super quiet as well. I forgot to tell you guys that it's super quiet, so i love that, but i also love how it doesn't: leave the hair like frizzy or anything like that. It'S still super sleek and i think it's a combination of the brush and the dryer. But i'm sure, with the dryer itself, without using a brush, you'll still have sleek hair sleek clippings, but this combo they're unstoppable. So i really just went in and did that to every single clip in piece i had in this set and now it's time to clip it in so i'm taking those bottom curls out. First, as you can see, i look like we just threw it back a couple decades and obviously my hair is a lot shorter than these 22 inch extensions. So i went ahead and did my little trick. I bobby pinned the bottom section. I just um twist twisted yeah, i just twisted it up and bobby pinned it, so it is very, very sturdy. You don't have to worry about the bobby pins coming out or anything like that. I just did a little crisscross pin like i always do, and then i went in with my first clip-in piece and i clipped that in right above the section that i just bobby pinned up now from here. This is where i want to start teasing, so with every section that i part i am going to take that teasing brush and just tease right up there by the root and then take another weft and clip that, on top, as i said, the weft won't move. The hair won't move, it won't be sliding down these extensions, in particular the bellissimo ones i like them, because they are lightweight so just like any clip and extension video. It gets a little repetitive, so i am just going in and doing that same process all throughout the hair, and i will say i did trim some of the extensions first to frame my face because the first time i did this, i realized, even though i was Getting that body - and i was getting that voluminous um blowout look. I wasn't getting the layers that i wanted and i feel like that plays a huge part in having a very nice blowout is having the different angles and the different layers in there. So i did go in and frame my face first with those extensions before doing this all right, so once i get to the top, i am just rocking a middle part. Today i am going to go ahead and do the same little tease on each side and put my two clip wefts on there now, one last step before i'm done. I did want to go in with a little bit of sheen just on my natural hair, because i feel like my hair was looking a little dull. I did use some dry shampoo um, which i love the dry shampoo. But then i felt like my hair was a little more dull than the extensions, so i went in with a little bit of sheen just so that the hair would match a little better, and that is the final look. So i hope you guys enjoyed this valentine's. Blowout tutorial bellamy is having a valentine's sale right now until the 14th so be sure to check the link below and use the code self love at checkout.
