Hi guys welcome back to my channel today, I'm going to be showing you my favorite hairstyles and a few tips and tricks for thin and fine hair. So if you're interested then just continue to watch so dangerous, the hi everybody if you're new here welcome. My name is Juliet, I am a mom of two boys and I do three videos a week on all sorts. I do lots of fashion and beauty and hauls and lifestyle videos. So if that's the kind of thing you're interested in, if there's a little subscribe button down here somewhere, I would love for you to click that and stick around with me on my journey. So without further ado, let's get straight into the video. I am somebody who has got very, very thin and very fine hair. This is literally all of my hair, as you can see, do watch a lot of these tutorials and some of them I come across. I think your hair isn't thin and fine. I mean my hair and literally, if I was to put plants in this, it is ridiculous that have been in my hair ears. I'Ve always had really thin hair, and so I have learned over the years to make it look thicker and before I get into my favorite hairstyle to add body and volume to my hair, I just want to tell you a few quick tips. So my first quick tip is dry. Shampoo is a must, even if you've just watched your hair dry, shampoo at the roots of your hair, is always going to help, give it volume and if you have blond hair like me, talcum powder. So, even if you have dark hair, you can use this underneath, but it will make your hair go very grave. Use too much. So dry shampoo is better for darker hair, but if you do have a light or blond, hair, baby powder or talcum powder, that is literally a lifesaver. The one thing I love about this is it stays in your hair. So when you get off of the next day, it's actually even more volumous next thing that you have to have a back combing brush. Now I just got mine from a beauty warehouse I'll see if I can find one online and link it, but stick stippled brush, and this is perfect for your hair. So I'll show you quickly how if I was going to wear my hair down, I would give it a quick back. Comb back comb ian has got better quite a bit of negativity attached to it. Thinking that I've damage your hair, this section here so look how thin and flat that is, and let's do a bit of backcombing. So you stop right at the bottom. You take one section at a time and then what you want to do is you want to hold your head up and then from about halfway you want to like meet brush towards the root. Now, what you don't want to do is hold onto it too. Tight. You want to let the hair back up on itself and you see how instantly that volumizer is, and then you just want to move up the hair doing the same thing over and over again. So you get your section and you tease from half way down to your roots, letting the hair go, that is it and then what you want to do is just lightly brush over the top like see how much more for you miss that is so I'll just Quickly do the other side and show you just how much more you can get just by using this little brush. They can see already a while just put in a little bit of backcombing in you, adding so much more volume to your hair. So if I wear my hair straight and down or do do this, you can pour hairspray in it when you're back home, but I tend not to put hairspray my head because thin and fine hair tends to get greasy or really really quickly. So, let's talk about my favorite hairstyle, all you're going to need is one of these clips, so they do the mini Pro mark. You can get a pack of six. I think it's it's six full pound or what I like to do is keep some hair on my face, so I will normally take to knit from each side, but not the massive section say about this. That is probably all I will type down to keep just those two little bits and the reason I do that is, I just think it adds a bit of frame to your face. Then you've got your two front pieces. What you want to do is just get your hands and you want to scrape up the rest of your hair. You don't want to flatten it or anything. You just want to grab your hair and I'll. Show you from the back grab all the hair, bring it all up like so, and then you just want to almost twist it and just make a bun there, and then you just get your clip and pop it at the base, and that is it. If you want to secure it a little bit more, you could use some bobby pins and just put one in the top, maybe to secure it, but honestly, don't think you need it and the reason I love this hairstyle is because it just makes it look. This will here is really messy. It makes your hair look. Volume is that the roots makes the most of the hair that you have got the top, and it also is just so quick, so easy, and it is my go-to hairstyle. You could always make it like. A little bit more dressy, maybe by using at different clips, so I got this really beautiful gold metal clip from Primark I'll. Just put this in and I'll just show you like how you can use something like this and it just dresses it up a little more. I look to create these kind of hairstyles because there's not a lot I can do with my hair, especially when I don't have my extensions in. I hope you enjoyed this video and if you did don't forget, to give it a thumbs up, and I would love for you to subscribe and stick around and until next time guys take care.

Meplus3g S: It’s great to see a thin hair tutorial from someone who truly has thin hair like me. So often these videos have women with lots of hair. Looks like we have the same amount. Great job!

MsStarlessone: finally!! someone with my hair talking about actual THIN hair!!! thank you!!

Mandy Kelly: I can't stand when there are tutorials for "fine hair" and their hair isn't fine at all! Thanks for this tutorial! I used to work at a beauty supply and the only thing that's ever given me lift is TIGI root boost

Haley Smith: Thank you SO MUCH for hair tips from someone who truly has thin and fine hair - mine naturally looks EXACTLY like yours and won’t grow much further past my shoulders! I can’t wait to try this out tomorrow

Marcus You Found my account: Talcum powder is linked to cervical cancer & other health issues. You can use natural Clay's in the same way. Bentonite clay or kaolin clay will do the same thing, without health risks. Love your videos & these tips!

Emma Jade: Love love love this. My hair is so thin and I always struggle to style it and feel good without extensions. Can't wait to try these styles. Nice to see another gal with fine hair that's actually fine not like these other videos you see. Only thing I'd say is dry shampoo and talc can be so damaging for your hair , I used to use this tip but I've known people to get bald spots from overuse so I try to avoid if poss xx

Jody Allen: My hair is exactly like yours. I am so tired of the same do every day. This is really easy to do. Thank you so much for helpful information.

Susan Baggott: Thank you SO much for not only showing us how thin your hair is, but showing us how to style it without expensive additions or fancy time consuming process.

K S: LOVE! Finally someone with my type of hair! I know everyone else has already said this, but this means so much to me as a thin haired girl to see someone who knows how to work with it!

Sarah A: An actual tutorial to help! Thank you! I love the simple teasing tips! <3

Elin Johanna: I have the same problem as you, same “thickness” and length and I feel so insecure about my hair honestly.. but the way you put your hair up made me smile, and nod that it indeed made your hair look so much fuller! I’ll definitely try this myself ☺️ btw you’re gorgeous keep it up! Love from Sweden

Jan Page: This gives me hope as it seems to be there are lots of us out there! I’ve just discovered your tutorials. I have mine tinted as I have white roots not grey and I constantly have little tufts sticking up. This updo will help big time so thank you x

Jessica Walls: Thank you!! My hair looks exactly like yours in terms of thinness and fineness. Someone FINALLY got it right! Usually most "fine" or "thin" hair tutorials don't show someone with actual thin hair. Question for you: how do you keep your hair from breaking off around your face and crown? I know hair breakage is common with fine, thin hair, and I'm trying to combat it.

Janice McNicol: Fabulous! At last somebody with fine hair giving tips! I loved the dry shampoo tip and the messy bun. Great job, thanks!

C Combs: Thank you for this video. It’s nice to see someone else with TRUELY really thin and fine hair like I do. I found your video very helpful. You rock! Also a tip: If you have darker hair like me, mix baby powder with coco powder for a dark hair diy dry shampoo

Karen West: I’ve just tried this and it’s lovely and really suitable for quick glam look. Thank you ! Love it ! XKaren

Distase: I love last hairstyle, just tried it on my hair, looks great! Thank you for the idea!

Clare Osborn: Finally a thin hair tutorial form someone who actually has thin hair! Love that hair up do thanks so much! X

Nicole T: Thank you! My hair is pretty much as thin as yours (with random frizz at the base of my head that’s always a problem) and zoom calls make my hair look horrible! Thanks for some actual tips that I cannot wait to try!

Deborah Wheeler: Finally! Someone whose hair is as thin as mine...thank you soooo much for taking time out to share your experience and knowledge.

Karen Lancaster: Thank you for this. I have super fine, thin hair like yours. So good to know I can do something to make it look better!

Shooting Starkiss: Exactly my hair! Thanks for the great tips how to style fine, thin hair!

Eve beinguniquebeingme: This is perfect for me my hair comes down to my bum but its so thin, I cut in a side fringe to frame my face as it was so thin and limp the loreal fibrology range help my hair loads and I love bulldog clips to clip my hair too so handy this was great!

michele osborne: So helpful thank you. Your hair is the first I’ve seen that looks like mine. Great job.

Kelli Gray: I could cry I am so happy to find someone with as thin and fine hair as myself. Thank you!!! I subscribed. Love from Alaska.

Zoe Mckenna: Loved this tutorial, I have extensions so don’t need to worry just now but when they are out my hair feels so thing, love how easy that bun is and suits you so much

Rosina Beard: Wow, what a fantastic video. Finally someone who has very very thin hair like mine!! I'm so glad I found you. Thank you for sharing xx

Andrea Clausnitzer: Hello, thank you for making a video for really thin and fine hair. Most of the videos on this topic don't really have these problems. It is also very pleasing that you get to the point and do not spend much time talking about yourself or any products. Greetings from old Germany!

Nadia Stockwell: Thank you for this! Like others I get frustrated with most videos with tips for fine hair because they have ALOT of hair. Do you get more breakage with back coming? How do you undo the back combing without damaging the hair? Thanks again I'm going to try this!

Daturata: Finally a person doing a thin hair tutorial who really got thin hair. Youtube is full of girls with thick nice mermaid hair talking about their oh-so-thin hair.

Lyrette: this is one of those very rare videos that are actually useful... thank you! <3

Ruth Jackson: I agree with the comment below a fine hair tutorial from someone with actual fine hair. My hair is exactly like yours, going to try the up do. X

Joan Kirkland: I have been looking every were to do this hairstyle.Thank you So easy and classy.Love this video.

Judy Ingram: Thank you for your tips. My hair in thin and fine. I wear a chip in it almost everyday. Also it falls out really bad. It always has since I've got older. It doesn't matter what kind of vitamins I take or anything shampoo I use.

Kyla Habberfield: Great video!! Seems 99% of people have thick hair (and lots of it) so it's rare to find videos on fine/thin hair. Love your tips :)

Miss Moose: FINALLY! Nice to hear a British accent, for a change! Also someone who truly does have fine hair! Wasn't very keen on the music, but great to have a quietly spoken person too, who doesn't talk 100mph! I've subscribed!

Michele Homan: After watching this I'm definitely going to buy a backcombing brush. My hair is similar to yours, maybe about an inch and a half shorter and I love your ideas. You have a new subscriber.

Nenia Emm: Thank you so much for this! I've got about the same thickness hair as you and many of the videos I have found do not show truly fine thin hair. I've always been a bit nervous of back combing, but I might give it another go now I have seen this.

Lacey Breaux: My hair is just the same! I am going to try the messy bun technique you showed - I never thought it possible!

trainergirl: I no longer fight with my fine, thin hair which I've had since I was a kid and I'm 65 now. Number 1, I went blonde from being brunette. I was in my late fifties when I decided to do that. I used to colour my hair to cover up the grey at home. I got fed up with doing that and decided to get a hairdresser to do it instead. She said to me that actually, if I went blonde, the grey would hardly show. It was a huge change, but I went crazy and said "do it!" For weeks, when I walked into the bathroom and caught myself in the mirror I actually jumped beause I wasn't used to seeing this blond woman. Now, wouldn't go back. The other important point is being blond actually gives the illusion of thicker fuller hair so long as it's not long. Number 2: after years of having long hair and putting it up ALL the time because if it was loose, it looked really ragged and ratty, I decided to cut it short. I didn't have short hair for all that time because I was convinced that having short hair would mean I had to "do things with it" every day. With my long hair, just got up, brushed it and put it up in a bulldog clip. Easy peasy. However, once I had my hair cut short, I realised that actually that wasn't true. All I do is get up, brush it and that is it. My hair no longer looks thin and wispy but actually, it looks fairly normal!!!!!

Rachel Hearne: So grateful for this. I am a mum of 2 boys too and my already thin hair thinned out even more after each pregnancy. I’m going to try this today! Dry shampoo at the ready!!

Emma Oelius: Oh my gooooosh thank you. Usually these girls in thin hair videos don't even have thin hair. This was SO useful!! Thank you!

Conscious Citizen: Hi! I've got naturally dark blonde hair, pretty much exactly the same thinness/fineness as yours, and my hairdresser refuses to lighten it for me. Did your hair break off much after lightening? My hairdresser is convinced I'll ruin my hair but I've bleached in the past and it was ok.

Cassandra Jones: OMG, finally someone with hair as thin as mine. Thank you.

Elizabeth Thornton: Actually someone with fine hair!! Thank you, great video xx

Carol Sanchez: At last! I found a channel for my thin but beautiful hair!❤️

NL2021: This is great thank . I had an eating disorder which sadly destroyed my hair so this was just what I was looking for!

Kathleen Hatchell: Lovely up-do!

Foxy Lady: Yay..I’ve finally found someone with hair like mine, great tips...I’ve subbed

Alonso rubio martinez: OMG I think your hair is one of the most beautiful and eye-catching hairs I've ever seen in my life

Nan: Thank you so much! Definitely going to try this. You are very beautiful, and I'd love to see you wear your natural hair colour too!

Catharine Tarquinio: You earned a subscriber. I've always had fine hair but it started falling out 5 years ago due to hormonal issues, so now I have literally half the hair I used to... I'm always royally embarrassed when I put my hair up because you can see my scalp, it's so bad. I'm gonna try this and see if the back-combing (I call it "teasing" like some others) helps with the volume and perhaps helps cover some of my scalp. I love wearing my hair up but haven't due to being self-conscious. Thanks for this!

Bunniblossom: Thank you for making a video about thin hair and ACTUALLY having thin hair!!! It’s so hard to find videos with my same hair type :(

SYLVIA HANOHANO: Awesome and simple share that anyone can do. Thank you for your share

Lynn Rushton: Fab‼️ my hair is really fine too, & I tend to have it up in a messy bun also. I never think of back combing it tho, so might give it a try xx

Locks of Laura: Beautiful ❤️ great tips will defo try these

Sara Fisher: We have the same hair! I've always been self conscious about it and I'm so happy to find someone who can help me. !!

KAROON BOOMIE: You still look great, you go girl, you got this!!!!! ROCK ON!!! STAY COOL!!!

Roseanne King: I agree. I like to leave my thin hair long enough to put up in a clip like yours. It is very becoming and it hides how thin your hair is. Love this video which I’m saving. Of course it helps to have a beautiful face like yours.

Regine Brady: I used to love and use that hair clip that you love as well EXCEPT that my hair is so fine and thin, that it irritates my scalp to use, Do you have any other recommendations to avoid this problem? I appreciate your help!!!!!

Shailja Madhra: Such a helpful video..Thank you!

Erin Lynch: Your hair is lovely, great tips thank you

Mary DidYouKnow: It's so damaging to hair to backcomb it. And dying it will thin it out even more. We need to learn how to embrace our fine and thin hair for the beauty that it has instead of trying to look like we have a different texture and volume of hair. If we don't do damaging things like this to it, we can actually have a healthier head of hair that looks beautiful while still being able to do beautiful updo's. That's actually what I was looking for when I stumbled on your video. It is really nice to see someone who actually does have hair just like mine, but my hair has gotten worse over the years because I've done exactly what you are recommending. I'm 46 now with terrible hair and looking for hairstyles to wear while I grow it out and make it healthier. I'd love to see videos that are aimed in that direction.

BananaGrabber: Great video, thanks. I have to say though that my fine hair doesn't hold clips or bobby pins - they start slipping immediately.. How do you keep those grabby claw clips in place?

Hannah bonvillian: My hair is EXACTLY the same and I can never find helpful videos! THANK YOU!!!

G B: Mine is just as thin if not more. I also love dry shampoo!! Amazing stuff!!

irene king: At last someone who knows how it feels like to have thin hair like me. I am 69 and have you length great video x

Justine Verelst: silicone free shampoo, especially solid shampoo is a must ! this changed my life ❤

Lana Brooks: My hair is like yours. I keep it no longer than shoulder length. Be careful to not use actual "talc" (don't know if they all stopped making it).

Scootermom: Your hair is literally exactly like mine but lighter including the style.

Shirley Cloete: Thank you. At last there's someone with the same problem. I hate my thin hair was even contemplating shaving everything off and wearing a wig. I have short blonde hair thinner on top thicker at the bottom. What products are recommended to give your hair more volume and life?

Elena: Omg I thought I was the only one with thin fine hair

Catherine Peters: That’s so lovely, well done

Ali P: Happy to find another that has fine hair like mine. Others clearly don't know what fine means and post their thick hair and call it thin. Lol

Jess Bishop: My hair gets so absurdly tangled that just the thought of back combing it, makes me cringe

Deb Jordan: My hair is just like yours! Always has been thin and fine.

Justa 5: Love your hair color, looks so fresh on you

harmony331000: I have the exact same hair as you and it’s the bane of my existence, thanks for the help , great vid!

megrandmomjean: Talcum powder may not be safe to use. Alternatives to talc-based baby powders include: cornstarch powders arrowroot starch powders tapioca starch powders oat flour baking soda zinc-based diaper rash creams for infants and toddlers

Yousef Jalal: Thank you so much your video really helped me a lot I subscribed surely

Maineuser: Glad to have found you! My hair looks exactly the same. Wish I’d seen a comb out to convince me the teasing does no harm? I’m 70+ now, and haven’t back-combed my hair since the bouffant styles of the ‘60’s. Another wish is where you buy your decorative clips? I hadn’t tried the black one, as they’d seemed too small. But l’d like to try your go-to, everyday upright style. I’d need silver clips, though, vs. gold for my white hair... Looked, but didn’t see any links to clips. Thanks so very much. I’ll be watching more! Linda

Melissa Culpepper: Finally! I’m so weary of videos claiming their model/themselves, have thin hair when it’s fine, at best!

Blue Hydrangea: Please do a tutorial on hair extensions ( if you haven’t). I assumed I couldn’t wear them because of having thin hair.

Alexis Lambert: I’m a bald gal with a round face and those do not mix well so I will definitely try the back combing, the bun looks amazing on you but ill look weird, but thanks for the tips ur a life saver.

Pattie Morphew: I think your hair looked really great just straight without any teasing. Fine hair that is healthy and shiny is beautiful!

Rana Kosten: You are lovely. Your accent and voice are beautiful. That being said, I really learned a lot. The back brushing for sure, the baby powder is a no. It is linked to some cancers. But the idea would work with arrowroot or rice powder. Makes sense and I never thought of it, but am trying it tonight. Thank you. Peace and love

Lenore: any links for a back combing brush? (sorry if i missed it, love your video )

Louise Naudé: Thanks this is the first real thin hair vid I see with good tips

Mummy life of 3: Great video so needed this a mine is so thin after 3 kids .

Rebel Yell: Hurrah! a lovely British woman with a fantastic accent, what a treat to find you, thank you.

Donna: I hope people with thin fine hair offer questions they have about hair. I’d like to add even more information on our types of problem issues - like better products to us, best hair lengths, layering, scalp problems and solutions. I need videos with people that understand thin fine hair types of issues. Let’s ask questions and share our own solutions. The one I can’t resolve is my scalp breaks out in pimple size bumps that cause a terrible itch. Doctors have no established known answer, or prescriptions . Some think it’s sunlight. I’ve just subscribed and would like this subject matter to grown viewers. No, I don’t know this lady, lol, but I sure have fine thin hair and I think it’s written off because most people don’t identify or have knowledge of how to manage. I wish you luck.

rebecca lane: I really like your channel - like listening to a friend. I’m a thin hair person as well - it’s a nuisance !

Dorothy Jones: People don't realize how thin our hair actually is .thankyou,I really struggle having thin fine hair,it will be interesting to find out the type of extensions you use too my love, also can be challenging, I'm using tapes at the moment

Catherine James: Thanks for useful tips..

Sobia Bi: really pretty!!!

G L: I was drawn to the video because this woman actually has fine hair. I'm thankful I have density but the fine texture is only cute when you're a kid. Not only is mine baby fine but it's 2b/2c which means it really only lays nicely when I grow it out. Wearing it long is challenging because fine hair looks limp at the length I need it to be and the ends always look so frail and damaged no matter how well I care for it. The dry shampoo and corn starch do give it some oomph but I will have to try teasing it also. I get that blow dryers and flat irons cause damage but I personally don't have the luxury of air drying which further perpetuates the problem. My natural hair without product and appliances is frizzy and hideous.

Arnee P: You’re my savior! I’ve started losing hair due to stress over the last couple of months, and even though I’m doing stress management and are on vitamins/supplements, it isn’t getting any better. My doc doesnt want to prescribe strong medication (like minoxidil) because I also have a skin problem, so I’ve just resorted to hair styling to hide my thinning hair (most visible near the right forehead). I’ll do your tips as soon as I get a proper tease brush, I only have a fine comb and a wide toothed one (I dont brush anymore Im too scared)

Selina Oakley: It's not greasy hair, it's oily hair!! Huge difference

Anna Ryan: I have 3 types of fine and thin hair: fine, extra fine, and baby fine even though I am 66. I use spray gel to keep it in place.

Justine Bourke: Backcombing may give the roots volume but it leaves the lengths and especially the ends looking thinner again
