Hey guys welcome back to my channel today's video is going to be all about how to apply hair extensions specifically for people with really thin and fine hair. So I've seen so many videos on how to apply hair extensions for fine hair when it comes to actually watching them, although the models that they use do have fine hair, although the people in the videos do have fine hair, they have a lot of fine hair And so yes, even though they might have fine hair and not thick hair, it is easy to conceal the hair extensions and so for people like me who do have fine hair but don't have a lot of fine hair. It can be really hard to conceal those hair extensions, so in today's video I'm going to be showing you guys how to apply the hair changes, best tips and tricks of [ __ ], stealing the hair extensions and also the best way to apply them for really Fine hair, I'm sorry if I sound all gross and horrible, is because I'm starting to get cold on my three really nerds. I don't actually feel too bad, but I just sound, really really blocked up and gross. I kind of feel like Karen mingled, which is like and thick so anyway, I'm going to try and fumble, as least as possible, through my words and I'm also gon na try and keep this video, nice and short and sweet because usually I can ramble on for Ages and then the video it's really long and then you guys are boring, storing my line and so yeah I'm going to try and keep it short and sweet okay. So, as I said earlier, I do have really fine, really thin hair and not a lot of it. I don't know I I don't have the thinnest hair in the world. I have seen people who do have thinner hair than I do, but my hair is still very, very thin. My hair this morning is freshly washed. I not do anything special at all to it to try any volume or anything like that. It doesn't have any product in it besides, too telling the spray and a heat protection spray. This is mostly an air drying naturally, and then I gave it a quick blast with a hairdryer just just to finish it off before I start filming. I also haven't straightened. It or anything like that yet because I'll do it as I apply the hair extensions, so these are the hair extensions that I will be using today. These are the fox ox hair extensions, the deluxe in sandy blonde - I'm not going to go into too much detail about these hair extensions because I did do an in-depth review and demo on them on my channel a few months ago. So I will link that down below in case you guys want to know like all the details and that kind of thing. Okay. So I'm going to run straight to the video and I'm first going to use a three clip weft. So I'm going to start by sectioning my hair, most people when I've seen their videos. They start their first worth and section right above their ear. However, because I have fine hair, I need to start my hair extensions as low as possible, so I'm actually going create another section halfway between at the top of my ear and the bottom of my hairline. So, as you can see, this first section is really really low down in the back of my head and I'm going to straighten my hair, so it blends in with the hair extensions. So I'm just going to give this section of hair a quick brush through it with my tangle teezer and then I'm going to apply that to that section of hair. Oh, it's cute my roots as well, they're really bad and they really need doing so. I'Ve just unclip the rest of my hair, I'm going to take another section, and this time I'm going to take that one directly above the top of my ear. Every time I pull down a new section of hair, I'm also going to really cook it straighten that as well. So next I'm going in with another three clip weft and I'm going to apply that in the same way that I apply the first one, a little tip before when you're clipping into the hair extension. I always find it easiest to start with the center clip. First, that way it's going on in the center of your head, and you know that you're not going to be too far the side, I'm not going to part my hair slightly above one place last extension, okay, so third section is only slightly above my ear and I'M going to go in with a four clip weft within the Fox lock set. You do get two four clip West's, but one is slightly smaller than the other, and this is the bigger one. There'S no real reason why I'm using the bigger one over the small one or the fact that the bigger one today is straight and this [ __ ] it's curly and I can't bother to straighten. I do have rather a small head and this bigger left on me does fit all the way from ear to ear. I can't remember the exact size in inches, others weft, but I will write that down below just so you guys know so. I'M just going to apply this in the same way that I've applied all the others. The only difference with this one is that, because those four clips there is not one clip that is specifically in the middle, so I have to place the two inner Clips either side at the center of my head. If that makes sense so so far, I do have three layers of the hair extensions in and now I'm going to apply my last layer. This is probably the most important one for me because it is the hardest to conceal, so the best tip for working with hair extensions in really thin hair is do not put your hair extensions higher than the line of your eyebrow. If you put your hair extension higher than your eyebrow, for example, all the way up here, the top of your hair is not really thick enough to conceal that hair extension, if you put it on or below the line of your eyebrow you've, got all the hair Over the top here to conceal that weft, okay, so this will, it might get slightly confusing, because now I go in with four different widths so for the top plate. In my hair extensions, I go in with two two clip weft and two one clip weft. Now this might seem really ridiculous when I do have a to the four clip weft left. So why don't I just use that one, but the full clip weft is not big enough to go all the way around my head and because I do have very fine hair. If I don't have a hair extension that comes quite close to sides of my head. It looks obvious that my hair extensions, because the front of my hair is really really thin. If that makes sense so because of the afford web does not go all the way around. My hairline, I take the two to put weft and place them at the sides of my head and then I take the two one clip weft and put me in the gaps in the back of my hair. So I take the two clip weft and place. The first clip right above my ear and then I get to one klick west and place them in the gap between and it doesn't matter. It'S all not super, even in your hair, because you're not going to see them and then I'm just going to take down the rest of my hair, give it all a quick brush out and now I'm going to quickly straighten the top part of my hair and Any of the lengths to the extensions really blend in if I stand up a little bit, you might just be able to see the length. If, then, they are 20 inches long, and I do of course have somewhat wefts left over that I haven't put in my hair. Sometimes people think that, because you have all the weft, you have to sort of cram them onto your head, but you really really don't. If you try and find places to fit them all onto your head, especially if you have a small head and really fine hair, like me, you're gon na find that you going to see them. It'S also not going to look natural playing around with positions, and the best way to use is honestly the best way to find out what is best for your hair and, what's a lot most natural, I don't have anywhere higher than this part of my head. So all this help here is completely my natural own hair and, of course, if you want that to look a bit fuller, you can always blow-dry to get some volume in there use some heat styling products. That kind of thing, but in my personal opinion I think this still looks really natural and I haven't even attempted to create volume in my hair at all so yeah. That is the end of the video. I hope some of you guys found these tips and tricks helpful. If you did, please give this video a thumbs up. It really helps me out and of course, let me know if you guys want to see more tutorials using hair extensions like High ponies buns. That kind of thing - and of course please subscribe to my channel if you want already I'll, leave a little box up here. That will take you to my channel page, so you can see more videos from me. I will see you guys in my next video bye, guys

Salamanca: Omg finally someone with actual thin hair!! Sick of watching all these videos of women who clearly don't have fine hair like ours. Thank You so much for this!

Nastasia Grace: This was so crazy helpful oh my goodness. I have fine thin hair with a small head and this answered EVERY question that I had!

Tabitha Skye: finally!! A tutorial for thin hair that actually works!!!!

Hania R: Aww so happy to see this done successfully on someone with thin hair as me!! Sometimes i feel so hopeless and just wanna shave my head and wear a wig!

Jeanette TV: Thank you so much for this video! very helpful! I bought my first set of extensions yesterday and while playing around with placement I immediately failed at concealing the weft pieces I placed towards the top of my head. That below the brow tip is definitely a game changer can't wait to try it out. #justcallmerapunzel

Lucy Adkins: Totally going to try this! My hair is so fine too and I didn't think that extentions would work for me because of this. Thanks for the tips!

Angelsina88: This was so helpful! I was looking for a tutorial like this for ages! I have the same problem, thin and not thick hair and I had the same problem: I couldn't find a proper tutorial to show how to wear the clip extensions without having the terrible problem of the clips that pops out of your hair. I was thinking about buying a set of foxy locks but I wasn't sure they could fit well for me and my problem, but I see from you that they look amazing. I think I will buy my first set soon. Thank you :)

Amie Dee: New Subbie here :) Omg Thank you sooo much for this video!! I have these extensions & thin hair too! I was having probs with hiding the clips, now I know I've been placing them too high..You're tips are sooo helpful!! :) YES! Pleasssse do more hair extension videos.. How about mermaid waves? High pony? Etc.. :)

Alycia Beatty: Thank you!! I have been wanting extensions for years but my hair is so thin I'm just too scared that they will be noticeable!! But this video was a saving grace!!

Sandra Dedeyne: Thank you Megan! Been looking for ages on how to get those extensions to look natural with my thin hair :)

mystic0103: Thank you for the video and the tips. I was in a struggle which set I should get- 165g or 220g. I was worried that the delux set would look too thin at the ends but it looks beautiful on you! I'm with thin hair as well and would definetly give them a try! Do the tangle? Are they still in good condition after few months wearing them?

Paige Boyer: This helped me so much! I also have a small head and very thin/fine hair and can finally blend my extensions in without them showing

2008MrsKim: Thank you for making the point of NOT having to use all the hair. I was always sticking clips on my small head just to make sure I used it how it was meant to be. Great Vid !!!!! New Subbie here.

Alaina Pickering: THANK YOU!!! I needed this!!! I have thin, fine hair too! More please!!!

Kellie Evans: This helps me so much! I just ordered the regular foxy locks hair extensions in latte blonde. They haven't arrived yet but I am so excited! I was wondering, do you have any tips on how to apply hair extensions for braids without any wefts showing in your part? I would love it if you shared a videos showing that and a few other hair styles with extensions!! Xoxo

Yukinelover: Great video. My only solution to my thin hair so far has been wearing wigs (which can be uncomfortable) and because my hair is thinner at the top and sides, hiding clips was a great trouble before. But I will try your method, perhaps it works.

Emily wilson: Extremely helpful. I just got my first pair of hair extensions in the mail today and you answered all my questions. thanks

Megan Kasza: This helped so much! Thank you! :D I have natural 30" hair, but it's very thin, and I don't have much on my head. I bought hair extensions and watched all the "how to put in your hair extensions" videos, but could never conceal them. Now I don't see a thing when I put them in. :)

Jo Honeyman: Hooray, finally someone with ACTUAL fine thin hair and small head like me!!! This is a great tutorial, thanks :-) <3

Miss Dee: Excellent video! I like the way you deliver tips and instructions. Very helpful for a fellow thin haired gal like me.

Libbie Hays: This video was a great help! I too have fine hair but on top of that don't have a lot of it. The tip about not placing wefts on the top of your head was very helpful. Thanks for creating!

Miranda Macleod: Been struggling with keeping them looking natural and hidden so I quit using extensions all together. I plan on buying new ones now and I'm glad to find someone who knows what they are doing.

Chanelvox: i've been wearing hair extensions for a while and an added tip to getting all of your wefts in your head is to clip the two four clip wefts on top of each other so it makes one weft. i hope this helped and i love your videos, they are so great.

GoWithMartina: Hi! I just discovered your channel and I love it! can you please make videos on how to make braids and pony tails with extensions? I would love them ❤️

marnieee: THIS WAS PERFECT! One quick question, are these extensions the 'seamless' ones or the normal ones? Cant decide which to go for.

Tanya Yurchak: Thank you so much your video helped me sooooo much !!!! The extension hair below eyebrow trick made a huge difference tysm!!

S Werner: This is extremely helpful. And does a great job of explaining what a weft is. Thanks.

Denise Solves the World 🌎: So helpful! Thanks for posting this!

Charmonee Moore: This really really helped me thank the lord I've been looking for one of these type of videos‍♀️

Ginger Carco: Thank you Sweetie very pretty, I had Foxy Locks, bought Bleach Blonde, years ago, but had to return them, needed Platinum Blonde, I am small and the hair was Gorgeous but way too long, and I do like it long, and too much wefts, too heavy for me, but you don't have to use them all, got the Deluxe Set, almost 300 grams, I know the owner Imogen, nice girl, I would try them again now they have the platinum blonde color.. ❤❤❤

Arelis Pomales: Thank you so much this was super helpful for me!!

Heather: omg thank you!!! I have thin hair and no one helps with that. keep them below the eye brow! Awesome tip. ty

Jonelle Katene: fantastic tutorial. Very helpful

Miss Chloe Elizabeth: This was super helpful, thankyou! xo

ffkskdks alalsks: Hmm maybe I should try wefts instead of clips. I had the clips pretty low down and there were still visible. Having fine and thin hair sucks :/ my hair only looks thick when it's tangled.

brileigh: Thank you so much for making this video! and you should make a video of using hair extensions in a pony tail , I have been having issues with doing it !

ciara purgason: thank you. I think I watched about 20 videos that didn't help, and when I tried it your way, it worked fantastically. appreciate the assistance!

Rybo510: Great video. Im planning on getting extensions but had no clue how they stay in. My hair is very thin and fine. Aging has caused the hairon the top of my head to get even thinner. So I will take Rogaine for that. lol

Random Jellybean: u have pretty hair with and without extensions <3

Kels Vaughne: I always struggle with the front wefts showing. This was seriously so helpful thank you!

Danila Braun: thank you!!! an actual human with hair like mine applying extensions is super helpful!!! and that it looks good! not super obvious that you're wearing them.

elainapplesauce: This is a good video! I have worn extensions for years now and yours blend very well and look very natural and the thin hair struggle is real. Do you have a hard time having your hair grow ? This is my problem. Also what brand do you buy ?

bendietrees: I'm thinking about delving into the world of hair extensions as I'm sick of my ultra fine hair thus us maybe a dumb question but is it complicated to style your hair after putting in extensions? Do you have to change the placement around? I love to wear my hair in pigtails ☺️

mrspinkandfabulous: Thank you for this Video it helped sooo much

Eliana Torres: Thank you so much! I really needed this!

Hella Rad Hella Sad: Thanks this helped a lot!

Stephanie Pollock: Great video thank you! my hair is very similar to yours

MakeUpNerd: Thank you!!!! Helped me greatly!

Simran Arora: now this is wht I've been lukin for! thank you soo much, hope it works d same for me

Sandy Nordby: you are so helpful! Thank you!

Panda: BRAVO!  I  have think and fine hair as well; and have found other videos laughable.  You hit the nail on the head with your first trick - START LOW.  This is KEY if you have fine hair because you do not have volume on the crown to cover the clips properly.Kudos darling. :)

Nicky j: was just going to say the same.. finally someone with my hair!!

Priscilla Fuentes: This video is my life! Thanks for this!

Sheila A Cross: Your so cute and very pretty thanks for the video, very helpful. I am 48 and also have very little fine hair. Thanks for the great tips.

Britney McG: you are so adorable. and yes very helpful! thank you!

bella: very clever placement! good job!

Coffee & Makeup24: do you still recommend the foxylocks ones? i am ordering some soon and have equally fine and thin hair

Ann D.H.: great tips but do you get headaches from the extensions?? I do. love the way they look, but can't tolerate for too long

Monica Alan: Thank you so much . I have thin hair too

Carly D: I have thin fine hair and the clips just slide out of my hair.  How do you keep them in place?

TaraCannonLLC: very helpful!

Maggie Lynch: Great video I have thin hair I do wear hair extensions thank you .

chica.keto_: do they damage your hair? I'm scared of using them bc I have thin hair too <3

Anita Wandinger: I loove hair extensions... Gives you freedom over deciding if you want brave cool short hair or wild volumes long... <3 she's so pretty <3 Thanks for sharing.

Audrey Chen: but how do you increase the volume on the crown? that's my question as I see the crown of the head still looks thin and miserable. thank you for helping all thin hair gals out in advance.

dezaray mccartney: my boyfriend always tells me I have a bump in my hair where you can see I have extension in.. so normally I wear them curly so you can't tell.. it's so annoying

888Jermae: Really nice video.  Blessings!

K Os: Great video!! Super helpful tips!!! Cool accent, too, obviously. :D

Zala Marolt: my hair always tangles at the back, do you have any tips on that :)

bbkimlocke: Okay so you do it exactly like I do.. I just can't find the answer I want on YouTube or google.. Maybe you know.. My hair is really fragile on top of being thin & fine.. Does your hair get destroyed from clip ins? (Breaks) .. Is there a trick to teasing without breaking hair that I'm missing? -I even use powder/dust- .. Is there a trick to properly putting in the clips without teasing??

tattooedchick24: I was wondering something. I was considering buying the new Foxy locks seamless extensions in the lightest blonde they have. I recently bought some extensions from Invisible Me and there are black hairs running thru the blonde. Are your extensions pure blonde or do you see other hair colors mixed in them. I need to know because I plan to tone them to a ash blonde if I order them from Foxy locks. thanks

LR U: Thank you so much for this upload.

Hannah Fu: Out of desperation sometimes I will attach a three clips piece onto a four clips piece and then put that on my head. It saves space but it can get heavy =(

Andrea Sebestyén: I have the same kind of hair (thin, not much, bit a bit shorter) what do you think i should order 120 g or 160g? I will trim them because i dont want really long hair only i would like to get more volume

carol vazquez: Someone I relate to but I had more hair but I had a moment of stress and I'm currently depressed and have anxiety but I hope my hair stops falling due to my problems and this shouldn't happen to me I'm only 15 and I'm planning already to use hair extensions but I'm not sure if it's due to my problems or because my mom has very fine and thin hair while my sisters have thick hair and also it's wavy curly

Liane Bianco: I love your eye shadow! Please share, what brand/color?

Shadow: Omg yass someone with actual thin hair thankyouu sm I need this so bad but I have a question because my hair falls out and stuff the back of my hair doesn't have much coverage so I'm not sure how to get it to look real and stuff because the clips show so bad and at the front I can't get the extensions to blend how I want them to so I have to do a half up half down thing do u have any suggestions on what to do better because I'm stumped I've tried most things but my extensions already look 10 times better then I used to them ✨

Roxana Villa: youre so beautiful ll thank u for this video is so much help..

Roxana Villa: youre so beautiful ll thank u for this video is so much help..

Poonam Tiwari: Megan Mam..you explained so well. but I m stucked now..I m scared of headach now..Putting three or Four layers of extensions can cause headache..plz solve my problem.. :(

Jona Ruiz: In some angles you look like Amanda Bynes. You're pretty

Miss Jnet: So pretty

Realtin O'Brien: My hair is even thinner than this.. It's about the same lenght, looks ridiculous. When worn down you can see all these big gaps and I hate it. I look like one of those barbie dolls who've got their hair chopped in different places by a toddler. I think it's a mixture of what the anorexia (I'm weight restored now though) did to my body and having thin hair naturally along with too much heat and some bleaching. I was considering tape ins but I'm 16, I don't work and I'd have to spend ALL my savings, absolutely everything I have, just to buy the extensions, get them put in and maintain them every week. I'd honestly do anything for normal hair again it really makes me insecure. It's not going to get any thicker I've tried everything the past year including rarely using heat and not coloring it but to no avail. Should I buy hair extensions? or should I just cut it all off? I'm desperate at this stage I feel like I just have to do something and soon. :( I'm one of those people who just doesn't suit short/thin hair and I'm already so insecure about the weight gain I just wish I had something to feel good about.

SHALINDER CHARAYA: its awesome

Krisaya: What's the best extensions you've used?

Rachelle Palfy: I normally wear wigs to change my color or length. But I've wanting to try extensions. Can you sleep in them or is it best to take them out before you go to bed?

Alexis Knight: do you have to cut the extensions or your hair before putting them on? something ive heard

Wendi Milke: oh and thank u for teaching me how to thicken my very fine hair without ruining it with sew ins and things like that. but I got one clipping with 3 clubs for $50 that's how he is and I can't afford $50 over and over again so I'm wondering where I can get them in bulk like you have them at a decent price that I can afford? Does not exist?

Kate: Please can you do half up half down hairstyle with the extensions

Jennifer Morrison: adorable thank you

jessica chapman: What extensions are these and what colour xx

V. B.: Hi, I am Dutch. What is the trademark of these extensions? And the price? (euro's)

Robyn Joe: This is probably going to be the stupidest question ever but, I go to school for a good 8 hours and I wear a 5 piece set of clip in hair extensions and they blend really well until.....my natural hair goes wavy again. Could anyone give me some advice on how to keep my natural hair straighter for longer?

Sarah Lastname: my hair is finer than yours haha. i been taking biotin like crazy

Lolo: Hey thanks for the vidéo. Where did you buy those hair extension ?

Wendi Milke: where do you get the clip INS w out spending a fortune?
