How To Clip In & Blend Extensions With Short Blunt Hair!!

here is my video all about how I clip in and blend my hair extensions with my short & blunt hair.

I use BELLAMI BELISSIMA extensions for everyone asking!

Everyone today, I have filmed a video all about how I clip in my clip in hair extensions and make them blend. With my super super short and blunt haircut, I also kind of showed you how I style them straight. I know a lot of times, people, especially with short hair, think that they need to wear their clip in extensions curled to make them blend. In my experience, you can make them blend perfectly fine with straight hair, I'm a straight hair type of girl, so I needed to find a way to wear my extensions straight and I play around a lot with different methods of how to clip them in this. Is the best easiest method that I have found to make them blend and look super natural? I have the Bellamy bellissima and then gets 22 inches. 220 gram, hair extension. So if you are interested in seeing how I brought my hair from short and blunt to super super long and straight then keep on watching ok, so the first step to everything is just gon na be sectioning off your hair. First things. First, I like to use a little alligator clip like this and just hit uh get out of the way, the very top section of hair that we want to leave out. So I will get a little bit closer here. You want literally the smallest little section of hair. That'S like a one centimetre section off of your part. Do the same thing on the other side, whose have this little tiny section right, basically around your part, like the very tip top of your head, pin this out of the way the next part is basically again like lifting up the hair that we want to be Done eventually, so I kind of make it seem like I'm gon na be making a ponytail, but I start kind of about halfway back to my head, so leaving a bell one and a half to two inches in the front. We want that down. Then you just go not all the way down, because you want to leave this whole bottom section out, including right around your ear, so you're, basically leaving lifting up like a halo of hair you're, still leaving down literally like half of your hair, and then I'm just Gon na put this up in a bun also, since I will be styling my hair straight today, I pre straightened my hair, I'm just gon na show you we have like basically the bottom half and the front sections of your hair still down now yet most like Important step is to get this hair out of the way, and so I find the best method to doing this is a French braid. If you want, you could, even just like put it and like slick little ponytails like that, I just think French braids are kind of make the most seamless look and they stay in place throughout the day the longest. So if just like your most basic French braid, try to make it as tight as you can, but it doesn't need to be perfect or beautiful, because it is going to be covered up with your extensions anyways. You then, I just like to take a little tiny rubber bands tie it off and do the exact same thing to the other side. Okay, so I just finished my braids or like this, I missed a couple pieces of the hair which it feels like I did. It again, it doesn't really matter because it is gon na be all pinned up anyways. So the next step is to just start pinning these braids down, so that they are tight against your neck or at least as tight as you can make them. If there's like some little loose hairs like this, just try to pin those down uh slabs you can get and just use as many pins as you need until you feel secure, and that is tacked down and not going anywhere. Okay, so I feel like this was feeling pretty secure right now. This part is definitely not gon na look pretty. It doesn't need to look pretty like I said a million times all just gon na get covered up, anyways, okay, so the first clip that we need to grab is the three clip weft one of the three clip weft size should say um, just like I did With my natural hair, I pre straightened them, and so I'm just leaving my hair pinned up exactly how it is right now and then directly over. These braids that we made is where I'm going to clip the first three clip weft and there we have it. At this point I mean, if I want to straighten it a little bit more, that is a-okay. This would be a good time to do it and I just hold the straightener very, very gently like I don't clamp it down super super tight again, just because I do not want to pull it out of my hair. Now, with this bun, we made that had like the main bulk of our hair, pinned up I'm gon na, let that down and then about maybe an inch above where we did that. First, one I'm just gon na that hair out now I'm taking the smaller, but the fourth clip less there's true for clip wife's one is long wider than the other one I'm taking the smaller one, and just clip that right in where I sectioned off my hair. Then I also find that, once you start getting more wefts in, I kind of like to straighten it at least the top part, just to kind of blend your natural hair with the fake hair and making sure that I get pieces of my natural hair and pieces Of the extensions in with the same grab and that just kind of helps blend everything. It also helps to just like gently brush everything together at this point too. So whatever our hair is left just kind of take half of that up and leave the last half down now I am taking the larger four clip left. This is the biggest piece of the whole set, as you maybe notice, I just kind of like to brush their own really quick before I clip them in my hair too, just to make sure that they're, really nice and smooth again just clip that in right, where You sectioned off kind of as close to the root as you can there we go and just as we did before, do a little gentle brush and a little straighten. You can kind of see like this little piece of natural hair is going to be kind of flippy in or flipping in. I was kind of like to hold it. It even curve in a little bit more like that, just to kind of avoid that flip, because the rest of my hair, like the extensions, are laying really flat. So if I have that little piece of natural hair, that's curving in you're, gon na see it or this last piece. Actually you can let down everything at this point. Do your part there for this last section, this one can be pretty tricky because you want to get it as then, as you possibly can, while still having enough hair to cover up the clips, and I kind of start all the way back on the side of My head like this and see this section is pretty thin just one little tiny section. This is going basically directly on top of that last four clip weft and now this is the last piece of hair that we have going in the back of our head, and it is our final second and final three clip weft and then just clip it. I kind of bury it into the last four clip weft. Just because I mean I want this to be as high up on my scalp as I can, but also if it's too high, then you're just gon na see it so there we go there. Is that last piece? No, I can let this hair down and I kind of like to feel around if you can feel a clip poking through then you're gon na, want to adjust that, but I actually don't feel any of the clip being exposed. Well, I am good with that and then I'll do my final straightening after I get all the last four these pieces in and now of course the back is looking pretty decent, but we have all this shortness in the front which we don't want. I'M gon na section off a little bit. Okay, so now you can see, I really did just do a straight line back right from where this braid starts and then just pin it literally like at my forehead pinch it back, and that is laying nice and flat. You can even see like it's just hair there. Now you can see there's my part. It'S have like the smallest little section of hair going above this thing, and then I literally use my finger just grab the skinniest little section see you can even see like my hand through it. That is how thin this section is clip that off to the side, and now it is time to place the single clip west's. I just like to do those a little bit further back than I did the to clip wife just because that clickers right there. So you really can't pin anything on top of it, just because it's so close to the, and then I like to bring this an extra on a little bit further back, just kind of find a free space. There'S a lot of Clips going on right up here. So just kind of squeeze I'm in where you can fresh it again. I kind of like to feel really the one clip once are concealed good, even though it's just such a small section just cause little clips are so small and then again just very gently straighten. This through all right now is just some finishing touches I can see if the ends aren't is perfectly straight, as I want them to be, I'm just kind of going through straightening, any sections that I think you need to be more straight kind of being mindful to Watch out or if I have any little chunks of natural hair sticking out and just um kind of straightening, those into the place that I need them to be and here's the final look. I have them all clipped in, as you can see they blend in really really perfectly extensions are virtually undetectable. You really can't even see the line of where my hair ends and the extension to begin. Let me see here's a piece you can just see it. Just blends in so smooth, like I said before, really the main trick is just making sure that you get the extensions clipped in as it absolutely close to your part as you possibly can, and also painting up. So much of my hair is what really really helps to because I've tried it with leaving all my hair down, and at least my hair is just way too thick for that you could totally see chunks, hair sticking out. My hair is like thicker than how the extensions are, so it just did not work out. So if you have thick hair or short hair, pinning it up is an absolute must, as you can see, they're like incredibly long. This is how long they come. I haven't touched them at all. Honey apparently wants to be part of this video today, so I hope that you found my tips helpful. I hope that you have success in clipping in your hair extensions if you have any like future videos you'd like to see me make, or if you have any more questions about anything that I did. It definitely leave those comments down below. Thank you. So much for watching and we'll see you in the next video bye

Nicole Cazares: I got some THICK hair & honestly your tutorial is the best I’ve seen so far. Trust me I’ve tried tutorials from Bellami, Luxy, other youtubers but yours is THE ONE that works for me ❤️

Marilinda Sanchez: Ive watched too many tutorials on how to blend a short cut and this is by far THE BEST tutorial out there!! the fact that you cant see where your short is, is everything I've been looking for!! i would've never guessed you had extensions on.

Carissa Bernal: I went to get a trim and the lady chopped my hair and it's short like yours and I did this with my 20 inch extensions and my goodness girl you are my life saver !!!

Katie: This is the most informative extensions video I’ve seen, thank you so much! I had medium length hair and recently got my hair cut into a short blunt bob and I’m desperately growing it out. I’m definitely going to fake it till I make it and I’ll be using your technique ❤️

Stephanie Darling: I am here because I had a breakdown and chopped my long hair off, now I need to know how to use hair extensions lmao..

Alisha Barry: I cut my hair off almost to my chin just like your hair and of course I regretted it after a few weeks and I thought I would just have to grow it back out again (which took me 4 years) it was past the middle of My back! This video saved my life! I got the exact same extensions in the mochachino brown. I didn’t think extensions would work with my hair being so short and blunt and I love wearing my hair straight as well. Now I can have long hair again while growing my real hair back out! Thank you so much for this video!!

Deborah T: This is the best I've seen for blending in a blunt bob or lob. Most instructions say to point cut the ends of your own hair, but I love the way yours is before adding the extensions. This way you can keep your precision cut and have two awesome looks short or long!

Nightmare Frontier: Girl ... damn you're a genius thank you so much I couldn't blend mine at all and I was having a panic attack because I'm so used to wearing extensions and I just recently cut my hair off into a straight bob and I thought they would still blend fine and they didn't thank you for this like you don't even know!!!

Marz: Omg girlll!!!!!! you just changed my life! I just did this and I’m so amazed!!! I just need thicker extensions and I should be good!!!!!

angel crane: My hair was this length naturally, and I got it cut up to my collar bone and I regret it so much!! I cry to my boyfriend so much about how I miss my long hair so he offered to buy me extensions BUT my hair is also thicker than a snicker so I’m so happy I found this video to help me out ☺️☺️☺️
