How To Split Wefts : Hair Extensions

Hi guys, I'm Ashley we're here today, in Los Angeles at Ashley's extensions today we're going to demonstrate how to split a weft, so splitting weft is very simple. All you need is your machine, wefted, hair piece and some small shears or scissors. So basically, what you're gon na do is you'll see that there's two pieces basically you're going to see the seam there's a seam along the middle of the weft, and sometimes you are able to kind of pull it apart a little bit and you take some small Detail scissors like these are sewing scissors. You can get any craft store and you just kind of cut along the top of the left. I like to start to pull and kind of pull the left apart, because it makes it easier to see. Obviously, this hair is dark, so it's a little bit harder to see the thread but just kind of start pulling it apart, going in the middle cut peel it apart go in the middle cut. So that's it!
