Seriously, you know what let me just, let's just do a rant for a second. It has been so beautiful, except for one day it was very hot, but it was been. It'S been so nice this entire week and, of course, when the weekend comes, I'm all excited. You know it's literally been it's like raining. Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. If you are new here welcome, my name is Jessica. If you are new to my channel, I do it beauty, makeup fashion, videos. I basically show you guys how you can do makeup, looks or hair looks or fashion looks at any level. I like to target more of the girl-next-door somebody that maybe doesn't wear a lot of makeup and doesn't know where to start or how to do certain looks I try not to do things that are too advanced or use a lot of technique. I also like to make sure that I am using things that are super affordable and also giving you options and helping you how to get some of the products that I use at an affordable price. So if that sounds like something you guys are interested in make sure you subscribe to my channel turn on the notification about so you're notified every time I upload and let's get into this video. So in this video guys, I am showing you how I install my luxy hair extensions. They are 20 inches long and they are 220 grams, so they are a lot of hair pretty long, and that is just how I personally, like my hair extensions. Now I will say that this does not mean that you have to use these extensions. It doesn't mean that you have to have this amount of grams or this length. You can use any length you want. You can use any hair extension, any brand of hair extensions. You want this is simply just how to install hair extensions, how I install mine, how I get them to blend, just how I go from myosin and a short hair to very long, very thick, very full hair. So if you guys want to learn how to clip in extensions and a blender, you are shorter than here with some very long thick extensions then just keep watching okay. So this is my hair without extensions, as you can see, my hair isn't like super crazy short. It'S just really thin and of course I like to have a lot of volume, which is a lot of thickness, and I do like my hair to be a lot longer. But this is what it looks like and I do have some layers so up here on the top portion of my hair is some shorter pieces. So these are the hair extensions that I am using. These are the luxy hair extensions. They are the most amount of grams because, as I said before, I really like having a lot of thickness a lot of fullness and I like my hair, to be quite long with these arms. So these are 20 inches and then it's 220 grams. So it is the most amount of grams that you can purchase on their website, so I keep it on this little hanger here and I'm going to go ahead and start and selling them. So before I go ahead and start putting these in. I do want to let you guys know a little trick that I do that really helps me with my hair extensions and putting them in it makes the process just a little bit easier. So I have certain less that I put in my hair in order and then what I do is when I take my hair extensions out, I will take them out in that order and then I will actually lay them down in that order. So when I go ahead and put my extensions in the next day, I don't have to figure out what pieces go where and I just put them in the same exact spot. When I have my extensions in they are going to be placed in certain spots. On my head, where it's going to blend with my hair, it's gon na blend with my layer, it's going to make them look more real, a lot more natural and they're, just gon na blend better with the style of your hair. So you always want to make sure that you are putting those hair extension pieces in the same spot after you have already cut and later them to match. You know the shape of your hair. So what I'm going to be doing first, is I'm gon na go ahead and get a section, my hair off? Okay? So I have this top section of hair right here, and this is going to be all of this hair that I have up. This is gon na, be all of the hair that I'm going to put down at the very end, so this is going to be all of the hair. That'S gon na cover all of the extensions that I place in my hair up into this point, so I'm just gon na go ahead and clip this up. Look crazy. I do I'm gon na look super crazy, okay! So now I basically just have this bottom layer of my hair. I'M gon na do is section up one more like little section here of hair and it's not going to be a lot. It'S just this little thin section right there and then I will go ahead and clip that little piece up right now, you're, like actually crazy, as you guys can see, I have a very small, thin layer of hair down and that's exactly what I want. So I'm just going to show you guys how I do this and how this works. For me, I feel like this just gives me the most realistic look a lot of times when I do have. My extensions in people do not know that I have extensions. They do say that I blend them really well, so I'm gon na show you guys how I install them and how I get them to blend in with my hair, with it being very thin and short. So what I'm gon na do is I'm going to take the first lap, and this is the four clip weft as you guys can see right here, and this is what it looks like, and I did of course dye these myself. If you guys are wondering what hair color I use, i use the l'oreal intense, deep violet, the l'oreal Feria line, and then sometimes i will also use the splats hair dye in the color midnight, ruby and mix that in just to give it an extra like vibrant Color but anyways what i'm gon na do is i'm going to take this four-piece weft and i'm just going to go ahead and place this right kind of rights where the top of my ear is. You guys can see that i'm gon na go ahead right, where the top of my ear is, and i'm just going to place it right there. Now some people will tease or backcomb the roots of their hair that they have down. If you feel like you want to do that, and you feel like that's going to help hold it, you absolutely. Can I personally don't do that. I haven't done that this has worked for me, but if you want to go ahead and back home so that you feel it, it is gripping on a little bit more. If you have super thin, like just very slick hair by all means, go ahead and do a little bit of backcombing at the root and then clip a knot for me personally, I don't do it and it still stays on and works just fine and then what I'M going to do is I'm going to take down. That'S second section that I had put up. I'M gon na go ahead and put that down and then I'm going to take the other web. That is a four clip left. These ones are a little bit wider when you get this bundle of hair, so I am going to put this right on top in that same exact spot, just a little bit higher on. So now we're going a little bit above the ear I'm gon na clip it on. Just like that. Okay, I'm going to show you guys, that's what it looks like so now. What I'm going to do is. I am going to go ahead and pull down a little bit of pieces here onto the side, because you want to make sure that you have some baby hairs here, because if you just have you here, all the way up, you're going to see the difference between The clip and where you know your hairline is - and it's gon na come off as fake, so it feels like the wind blows or you want to put it behind your ear or you're, trying to do a different style where you're putting it back. You'Re, just gon na see that difference, and you don't want to do that. You want to have a little bit of baby here around the hairline okay, so this is where I, I think, start doing things just a little bit differently so from here on out. I am NOT taking down any more sections of hair in between me clipping in the hair extensions and, like I said before, this is just how I do it, and this is how it works. For me, my hair is just so thin that when I tried to do that at some point I tried taking down hair in between the west's so that I could go ahead and tease so that it isn't like necessarily like pulling up the root. And my hair is just so thin that you, by the time I got to the last layer of hair to put down, you could really see the the extensions and you can see all of the wefts, because the hair was just so thin. So, in order for me to really disguise it, I have to have a pretty thick layer of hair on the top that goes down at the very end. So so what I do is, I will install them from right to left. So I put the right wept on and then I will go ahead and put the left weft on and I overlap that the left wept over on top in the back I'll show you guys. So I'm going to go ahead and start taking the 3 clip weft right here and, as you guys will see, this is my right clip weft, and I know that because it's going to be on an angle. So these are the pieces that are going to start help with framing my face, so I'm gon na go ahead and unclip these. What I'm gon na do is I'm going to start placing this right like right here, I'm going to go ahead and just go a little bit behind the hairline where the hairline starts, and then it's going to cover my ear just a little bit. That'S what I want it to do. I wanted to cover my ear just a little bit, I'm going to go ahead and clip the rest in okay, just like that. Go ahead and take the left side, which is going to be the same exact thing except. The angle is gon na, of course, start on that side. I need to go a little bit behind the hairline, go a little bit above the ear just like that. Okay, so, as you guys can see, this is now going to start building up volume, not just in the back of my hair, but also on the sides, because a lot of times, I feel like one of the biggest ways that you can tell when somebody is Waiting extensions, I feel like it looks so crazy, talking Liz, but one of the biggest ways that you can tell when somebody's wearing extensions is. They have all of this, like fullness in this volume and this length in the back, and then you start seeing on the sides of their hair. It'S a lot thinner and it's a lot shorter and it just doesn't blend as well, and so that's why I like to do it this way. So I am now building volume kind of all around my head, not just in the back okay. So now I'm going to go ahead and do the exact same thing with these two clips right here, I am just gon na go from right to left and start clipping from the right side. Okay, alright, so I hope you guys can start to see how this is building volume throughout my entire head, instead of just in the back, because, like I said when I put that last layer down, I want it to be as realistic as possible. Okay, so now I have the two weft clips in and I want you guys to see so I'm going to try to turn around so, as you guys can see. I have this gap right here. Okay, so you got all of the parts where these clips end. So if I want to take my hair down, I feel like that would be super bumpy. I don't like to have those gaps in those spaces in between. I just feel like it's easier to tell and if somebody touches my head, I'm like what the heck is going on at once all of Italy, so this is kind of how I like to conceal that, because I am actually done with the luxy hair extensions. This was all of the extensions, so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to take two pieces of hair or wefts that I had previously from my Sally's hair extensions going to take these two and these were from Sally's and, as you guys can, I Do love the Sally's extensions as well? I wore I have worn them for such a long time. They are a lot thinner, but it is still really good quality hair. Before I go ahead and start clipping those pieces in, I am going to once again take some hair down here on the sides, and that is going to. That is just to help give the illusion that this is your real hair. You don't want that harsh line between your hairline and the hair extensions I'm going to go ahead and take my right piece once again and we're gon na go a little bit behind where we took those hair down from the hairline and clip that in and see The left side: okay, okay, so I'm going to go ahead and show you guys now what the back looks like - and I hope you guys can tell a little bit of a difference, but instead of having those big gaps in the twinkles a little bit more straight Across and the higher that I could get these to go up the more like easier, it's gon na be to disguise them when you put your hair down and also the more volume you're going at you get as you put your hair down. So now we are done installing all of those left's the last two pieces I'm going to clip in are these two one piece webs right here and I just use these to help conceal the shorter pieces of my hair underneath. So all I do is, I will go ahead and pull my hair forward and I will take this and I will kind of push up underneath the pieces of hair that I could feel right at the nape of my neck and I just kind of wiggle it And I just clip it right in and it really and then that's what will help to conceal those shorter pieces. Do the same thing on this side, just gon na go ahead, clip that in and boom they're gone. We now have all of this hair in our head, so the last thing is to take all of this hair down and, of course, you can part it any way that you want. I typically keep my hair um parted to the right side, but one of the things that you do want to do as soon as you take your hair down as you want to take your hand, and you want to kind of go in feel from the top Of your head down and you want to make sure that it feels very seamless and very smooth if you start to feel like bumps or pieces of hair that are sticking out, then you need to go ahead and put this hair back up and you probably need To undo some of the clips and then take whatever hair is sticking out, and you need to kind of put it the right spot, which is usually just taking that hair down and putting underneath of the clip. So you want to make sure that it's nice and seamless and flat, which is what this is so now you're, going to go ahead of course, and style, your hair and blend them together. Right now, I have just been doing my normal, like loose waves. These are obviously already curled from yesterday, but I will go ahead and start curling, my hair, with the extensions what I'm going to do before I start curling my hair is I'm actually going to tease a little bit of my hair right here, like in the crown Area just to give it more volume and of course it does help to disguise the like the wets and the tracks more because you're gon na just give it volume and it's gon na, be super thick, where you shouldn't be able to see it um. So the hairspray I am using is my Amica hairspray. I really love this and then I'm just using this brush. It'S dirty, don't worry about it. I'M gon na be taking this. You can use whatever brush or comb. You like to tease your hair and I'm just taking a very just a thin portion, go ahead and spray sorry, my mirrors over there, so you see me looking over there. That'S why and I'm just going to back home just a little bit here and then I'm gon na pick up one more layer and do the same thing. I'M gon na back home it and then I'm going to backcomb it on this side and then we're gon na go ahead and that's how you bare your hair just like that all right put that down and I'm going to separate it now. All I have left to do is just to curl my hair, with the extensions to make it blend a little bit more and the curling iron I am using is by Conair is from Walgreens or Walmart. You can get in any drugstore. It is just a normal size, that's not like a really thick a normal sized barrel, so I'm going to go ahead and grab this piece and then I curl - and I do it very very quickly because I keep this on the highest heat setting and then basically What I do is, I only leave it on the hair for like a second. So, as you guys can see, I just did that really fast and then I'll run my fingers through it and I just like to have a loose wave. So I'm going to pick up another piece of hair and do the same thing. I kind of leave the ends out just like that, and then I do like to run my fingers through it right away because I like it to just be very, very loose. I just want to show you guys when I get to the lake front part of my hair like wear my bangs. Are I always curl those pieces of hair away from my face and then I do everything else. I think the opposite, so I will go ahead and just take this piece and start going away from my face and then I kind of as I am releasing the curling iron. I will go gently like this with the clamp and it just allows you to get a more loose curl and not have like those kinks in there. So I'm gon na go ahead now with this second piece and do the same thing curl away from my face and then release. So that is the finished. Look with my hair extensions. That is how I install the luxy hair extensions. This is 220 grams. I guess technically a little bit more because I did add two more pieces from my Sally's extensions, but this is pretty much how I wear my hair all the time. If you follow me on social media, you will see that this is just my go-to hairstyle. This is what I love. This is what I'm comfortable with, but this is how I wear my hair and I wanted to show you guys this, because I want you guys to see that as I like move my hair like this, like the wind blows, I want you guys to see that It still looks natural and you don't see a bunch of just short pieces like flying around like underneath. It really does look like my real hair and then we'll go ahead here and do go ahead and show you guys the back. I can't see, but you should be able to see like layers in the back, which just helps like I said to make it look more natural and more real, and then, if I were to go ahead and put some hair behind my ear, you guys can see That, because it took some hair down here, and it does help it to look more real rather than if we had no hair down there and just a clip, you would be able to see that. So that is part of the reason why I like to do that. So that is that you guys. That is how I install my extensions. I hope you guys enjoy that video. I hope you guys got some helpful tips if you did or if you have any other questions. Leave me some comments below make sure you guys follow me on Instagram.
