Hi, I'm Ruben Martinez, hair artist and international educator for Donna Bella hair extensions. Today, I'm here to share with you how to properly install your CareLink extensions, which are also known as a fusion method. So I want to take you through some tips and tricks to make certain that we're always striving for an integrity, focused approach with our installation. Ok, so before we get into all the demonstration and all that good stuff, let's talk about what we're going to be using number one you're going to be using your hair, the CareLink hair comes pre bonded for you, and Donna Bella always gives you a generous portion Which I love because, as you know, our clients come in with different hair types and textures. You have thick hair medium hair. You have fine hair, so there's going to be times where you have to customize your bond according to your clients, hair type. So when I do this, I love to use my keratin Bond cutters. You guys, because of the fact that I get a precise and accurate cut every single time. You'Ll also need your pro disc. This is going to help isolate your work area, so you don't get keratin on any other parts of the hair. Except for that point of attachment, you also need your mounting connector. What this is going to do is Mount and infuse the keratin bond into you or onto your clients, hair. Ok, so now a couple more things are going to need our hair parter, which I always love to use. My quick pic. You can use your quick pick. You guys, because it'll save you so much time on your installation or if you have a rat tail comb, you can use a rat tail comb as well. This looks so cool on me. I got ta use it also. Lastly, you're going to be using your hair clips. Ok, your hair clips are going to just help you out with clean sections clean partings, so you can have just amazing experience with your insulation each all right. So, let's see it in action as we get started, you guys, we want to be certain that we're going to focus on the integrity of the clients hair the whole way through. So I want to grab the same amount of hair from my clients head as the extension itself, so that way it can hold it and support it one-for-one and wait. So I am using a blonde extension here, so you guys can see this on the video okay. So what I would do is, I would match this up one for one and wait. So now I'm going to put this extension down okay now this is where the pro disc comes in, so the pro disc, it's going to really be a guide from you guys. So with this guide, what I mean by that is this top part of the inner circle that has to rest off base of the section that you grab. So that way, this extension is not going to be installed too close to that root area and you're, going to still be able to have a 360 degrees of everyday movement. That'S going to be comfortable for your client to wear her hair anyway. She wants so when you put this on, we want to stay away from just putting this on and putting the extension on just there. We want to bring this down and use this Pro disc as a guide, so you're going to have the top part of that inner circle rest off base. So then you can grab your hair clip and clip this to the base. Okay, beautiful! So when you go ahead and release that there, it is it's isolated for you guys, I'm going to take this here place that I'm going to take the top part of this extension and have it sit at the bottom part of that inner circle. So now I'm going to go ahead and take my mounting connector and just let that spread and separate once it does. You can go in and take put that down and just in a pressing rolling motion get that together, beautiful beautiful, so you're combining the extension with the actual clients hair having it become one. So once you go ahead and just roll that together make sure you press it all the way through you release your hair clip, remove your produce and wallah there, you have it guys. This is an integrity, focused approach to putting on the CareLink extensions. So there you have it few tips and tricks to make sure that you can properly install the CareLink extensions. Remember it starts with 1. If you can do one, you can do. One hundred of these extensions just always keep in mind that it's about the integrity of your clients, hair. So with that being said, position and placement is so important.
