How do you know when it's time to take out your extensions? That'S what i'm talking about today. I have my installation done. I had my insulation done at the beginning of the year, i believe, either january or december, i'm super busy, so i might be a little off, but it's been over three months. My hair grows pretty fast, i would say, and i take care of my hair - i don't do too much to it, so it has a lot of time to just rest, i condition it wash it just the basic things, and now it's time for me to get A new insulation, my hair, looks fine, as you can see it doesn't look like you can't tell that. I need to get the extensions redone. The only way that we can tell is by looking at the extension itself to see how far it's grown. So i'm just going to show you over here. The lighting is really bad, so this is an extension this one right here so usually when it's installed it's about right up here. Now it's going out quite a bit, so the extension actually is all the way down here, and what happens is that now this causes a lot of tension or weight on your hair and it can eventually cause breakage. So that's why we need to have them redone. Usually you can do it. I always have these extensions, and so usually you can do them um in sections. When you go see your stylist, you can have whatever section time some areas go faster than others, so you can take out a section and redo that and every time you go back just do maintenance to have them all redone eventually or you can be lazy, like I well i'm not lazy, i am just very busy, so i don't have time to do my own hair anyhow um. I usually just wait till the end. It all grows out. I take it all out. I really do a deep condition in my hair and then i have them installed again. So that's it! This is when uh you would have to get your extensions redone. Any other questions about that. Please feel to please feel free to leave a message below i'm sorry. I'M mumbling leave a message below if you have any questions, thanks, bye,

laquanta33: Thinking about getting my first fusion install and your videos have helped alot. Also, since you specialize in this, I trust your judgement! :) I have 2 questions. If I relax my hair, do I have to take the fusions out when it is time for a ntouch up or can the relaxer be applied with the fusions still installed? Also, what type of hair do you have installed in these videos? I love it and it seems to have lasted quite awhile for you. Thanks.

Patricia Holland: Can I install these extensions myself or would you recommend going to a stylist? I've done micro loop extensions on myself as well as manemaxx(soft bond extensions) and I'm partially confident that I could handle these but a professional opinion would be nice. Also, could I do deep conditioning treatments(protein packs) with these in?

MondayKay: All extension, chemical treatment you do to your hair can cause damage. If you decide to do any of those things you must take care of your hair by doing treatments, trimming, and just giving your hair a break. I love these extensions! Its easy to maintain, easy to take care of your natural hair, and will not cause as much damage as other hair extension techniques! Go for it!

Lips By Toni: Your hair looks so natural do you experience any shedding or tangling with this hair? Please post another video with her new install I would love to see it. Thank you.

MondayKay: No shedding or tangling! This is strand by strand fusion extensions. It starts to shed when its time to have them taken out. when the bond starts to break down. I will be doing a micro link install using hair on weft. Video will be up soon.

Patricia Holland: Cool. Thanks. Another quick question. I'm relaxed so what type of hair would you recommend?

MondayKay: I sometimes don't do what I tell my clients to do in order to protect your natural hair. I left this installation in a little too long, however I gave my hair a rest and did some treatments but my hair is healthy.

Miriya Watts: Do fusions damage your hair?? Please tell. I want to do it so bad but Im a little scared because I've heard that it isn't good for the hair... My hair is only about 4inches (growing it bk out).... Ps congratulations btw on your pregnancy ^_^

Lips By Toni: Thank you i cant wait to see your new video. Are you going to use perfect locks on your next install? And the fusion links from perfect locks can I use the micro rings on that hair or does it have to be fused in?

truebeauty2309: Are you able to grease your scalp while having these installed ?

MondayKay: Yes I will be using hair from perfectlocks they offer the Itips for micro link installation and Utip for Fusion installation

MondayKay: If you've done micro links by yourself you will be able to do these also. The protein packs will break down the bond and they will start to shed.

MondayKay: I also have a relaxer and indian wavy blends well

Lips By Toni: how many strands do u usually put in your hair

Luci Llain: can you please make a video on how you sectioned you hair so that you were able to style it and, put it in a pony tail the way you wanted to. please thanks!

MondayKay: thank you! Its been a rough pregnancy so far....

MondayKay: Yes, however stay tuned I will be offering a special to my subscribers!

Naomi Roe: What was your hair like when they took it out ? Xo

MondayKay: this video was to show when to take them out after your hair grow out. The way to take them out is with the bond remover and just comb through. The bond will break apart making it easy to comb them out. By this time most of the bond has started to break apart also. If you do this too soon the bond is still very hard and will be hard to break down and comb out.

MondayKay: Sure! I haven't made a video in 6 months! Thats because I am 6 months pregnant and very very sick the entire time! I plan to upload some new videos soon stay tuned....:)

MondayKay: about 200 if I use straight hair and 250-300 for curly

Lips By Toni: Thank you.

Destiny Mathurin: you didnt really explain how to take them out...you just talked about how you take yours out after they grow out....

MondayKay: Indian virgin hair from perfectlocks website. excellent quality!

Inez Reddick: Are you taking new clients? I would like you to do my extensions

AriielleWinter: What type of hair is that?

AriielleWinter: Brand?

Shonnie Visa: blah blah blah
