Hey guys, thank you so much for coming to this video. So today i am showing you all about these beautiful donna, bella extensions. I'Ve had my hair short for quite a while, and i'm so excited to have extensions in again. So if you guys are wondering how i did this or like how i install them or about the brand or anything let's get into the video and i'm gon na, show you and tell you all of the stuff. So let's get into it all right. So i am so so excited to put extensions in again, i used to wear them all the time and just the last couple years i just really haven't been wearing them. I'Ve had like shorter hair several times, and i just i don't know i just haven't really done it, so i am so excited to try out these donna bella, hair extensions. They sent these to me and i am so excited these are the clip-ins and they're the color number two darkest brown and they're the 20 inch and the weight is 160 grams. They have two different weights of everything, but they also have um like the sew-in ones. They have the bead like bead clip-in, bleed, clamp, i don't even know what you call those but like the little beads. You know. If you know extensions, you know what i'm talking about. Then they also have just the single one. That is just like a big thing and you kind of just put it on, and it has like that white that not wire it's like a clear string so um, i got a couple of them and i'm so excited. So, thank you so much to donabella for sending me these extensions. I can't wait to put them in my hair, so open this up. So in here it's a cute, hot, pink on the inside and black, and it says volume up and run the world. I think that's so cute, so you get a hair clamp thing to hold your extensions, a hair hanger, you think of the right word that just gives you a little pamphlet thing and it has comes in little tissue with a sticker. Their extensions come in these really nice, really soft velvet bags like they're, so soft i'm like can i get a blanket of this so then you take it out and they all come in like this little hair net thing: where is the end of it? Alright, so they come with this little like hair net thing around them to kind of just keep them come on, get off my hand, okay, to keep them nice and in there. So these are the extensions like i said these are the 20-inch clip-ins. I thought this was a pretty good match for my hair. It'S like a perfect match, yay, okay, so let me plug in my hair straightener. So with clip in extensions i like to style it. I like to style my own hair with the extensions clipped in um, depending on how long the hair keeps the curl. I might just leave it next time and just clip them in my already curled hair, but at least for the first time i like to clip them in and then curl mine and this. At the same time, i feel like it just blends better looks more natural than curling them separate. There'S a couple things i like to do before i start putting these in. So then also, i wanted to show you guys this cool little gadget. I got on amazon for hair extensions, it's called the extension styler and when i used to have extensions a lot i would want to wash them every once in a while. So you wash them and you want to dry them, and i what i would do is i would take hair clips like hair clips kind of like this, and i would clamp it down to a towel so that my hair is laying like this on a towel And i could blow dry it and brush it, and it just was annoying because it wouldn't stay and it was just it was just frustrating and annoying. So they came out with this thing. But basically let me get one of the pieces here. You set them in like this, and then you can clamp it down. You can suction it to like a table or a mirror in your bathroom, and your extensions are just there. You can blow dry them, you can style them and i was like okay, whoever made this was a genius and it's not that expensive. I think it was like 11 or 12 dollars i'll have it linked below for you guys. But if you use extensions, like mainly clip-in ones, um, if you have them in your head, you're not going to really use this, but i mean unless you're dyeing them not on your head and then you know. But yes, this thing i haven't used it yet. Obviously, but i am so excited to use it because it just those things in life that make things simple and you're just like uh duh. Why didn't? I think of that so thought i'd mention that, because i thought it was so cool all right now that oh, i also got from donna bella their extension brush. So it's a nice black brush. It'S a matte black, it's probably dirty just because it's on my table, but it said it's just the way that they made. This is like really nice for extensions to keep them silky and looking good and not breaking the hairs or anything. So i thought that was nice that they have their own brush to use with the extensions to help prolong the life of the extensions. So what i like to do is sometimes i'll get like little bumpies in the back of my head, like my hair is not perfectly straight so right now, my hair is just blow dried. I just bloated it this morning, so i'll just brush it. This is what i like anytime, i'm straightening, my hair, doing my hair. I do this and i'll just kind of run it along the back. Just so like the hair back. There lays nice and flat, like it's, not doing anything, weird. For some reason, my hair just likes to be weird sometimes, and then i also like to come in and straighten just my front, like the sides of my head get a little like crimpy almost so i just like to come in and straighten that before i do. The extensions so that i don't have to worry about it. Looking crimpy then also i like to use the uh lush, no drought, this uh dry shampoo. I really love this formula, it's it lasts forever. That'S one of the main things is like. I think this bottle is like 12. It lasts. This is my like. Second one and i've used it for years. So if you need a good dry, shampoo um, i like using this at night, usually so that i wake up and my hair is not greasy. I can leave a little bit of a white cast because it is a white powder and then you want to be careful when you put it like it. Can you can put on way too much like really easily so just be careful with it, but i like to give my hair a little texture, and this is really good at that. So what i'll do is i'll, just kind of dump it on the top of my head and then just kind of pat and let it fall down into my roots instead of just dumping it directly on my roots. But if you have extensions, you know that you need to cover up and not let anything show and because my hair is shorter. I don't want my top layer of extensions to be right here, like i want it to be as far up as possible, so that i don't have this big chunk of my shorter hair, just laying on top of the extensions. If that makes sense, i want like a thinner section just so it blends easier, but in order to do that, we need to give our hair some volume up here. So i do that and then i will go in and have the hair in my lip gloss. So then i'll go in and just kind of tease the top too so so i'll just take a section do a little hairspray and then i have just this little teasing comb just like that. So that way we don't have anything showing through and then i'll do that on the sides. Also so, oh and i don't know - i haven't said it before - i do have a discount code for donabella, for you guys, i will put it up on the screen, because i don't remember exactly what it was right now and i'll put up how much it was. But thank you so much donabella for giving me a coupon code for you guys. So if you guys want to order any of their hair, you can get a discount. So now that that is done, i'm going to section off my hair and i usually do the first one like a little tiny bit below my ears. So i just grab that and clip this part up, ow. Okay, these uh clip-ins. They come with two sections of the four clips two sections of the three clips. I believe two sections with two clips and then two of just one, so you get all different sizes. So what i like to do is i'll. Take a three clip for my bottom. One so let's brush it out first, then they feel really nice and smooth and silky, and they don't look too. They don't look fake, shiny, like some hair extensions, look, shiny and just really weird and you're like that, does not look like natural hair. So this actually looks like natural hair, like you can see compared to my hair like it's not like, it doesn't look like fake hair, so how i install them is. I will undo all the clips on that piece after i've brushed it then uh. If you can't get your extensions to stay in and they want to just slide out, try this trick. So you take after you've, sectioned off your hair. Take just a little bit of hairspray spray it in there. Let it sit for like a second to dry off a little bit, then what you're going to do is you're going to take your hair extension. Put it up next to it and just kind of feel where it is and you're going to like push it on to your head. This is kind of hard to show, so you push it on and then you just kind of wiggle it around where that hairspray is and then clip it push it down and clip it, and that's just going to help like really hold it in there, because you Have hairspray and then you're kind of just wiggling it around. So it's really getting a good grip on the hair. It'S not just going to slide so then that's my first extension. So then i guess i will just uh curl them as i go. Sometimes i do it after, but since we're here so i'll just brush it get some of my hair in some of the extension grab, my straightener curl away. So just like that, it's like so long. I can't even get it all in the thing and i didn't use a heat protectant yet on these, let me grab one. It does suggest to use a heat protectant before you use any curling or straightening tools on it. Well, i guess i don't even have a heat protectant spray on me, so i guess i'm not doing that this time, but it does recommend that i'll just continue to curl, and this is just going to be like long loose curls. If you wanted tighter curls, you can do either a curling iron or a curling wand, but i just like looser curls most the time. All right, then i'm going to go in with some hairspray and i'm going to try to keep it just on my natural hair. I'M not going to go all the way down onto the extensions. So then, my next row, i'm just going to go a little bit above my ear and this one i do a four clip so then, first brush it out, do some hairspray undo these clips so and i'll probably start just speeding this up, because it's going to Take a while so then again just go up a couple inches. I have a hair like stuck in the clip. Okay, so up another like two inches so now for this next row, i'm gon na do a four and also a two um i find. Usually they don't like wrap all the way around and it kind of makes sense. I mean, if you have you, know extensions closer to your um hairline, it's easier to see, but for me, if you have shorter hair, you don't want just like this whole section right here in the front having no extensions in it. So i like to bring them up further and then i'm just more careful with making sure they don't show. So i will start with my four here. You can see the four and the two basically come all the way around my head. So then, now you can see. I have more coverage like over my ears, that's the longer hair and that will just really help blend with my shorter hair. This is going to be my final layer, so you just want to make sure that it's as high up as you can go, but not too high that you're going to see the extensions. So then we have the three a two and then the singles, maybe i'll just start a little further back with the three. So then, i'm going to let down the top of my hair and curl all of this with the extensions too, and i think i'm going to add the singles just like in my bangs baby, okay. I also found a fourth single on the floor, so you get four single clips um! I'M guess! I'M not gon na use that one since i already have all mine in, but now it is all curled. So then what i do after that? Oh some hairspray uh. What i do is i'll just kind of go through and kind of brush things out with my finger fingers. It feels so weird to have big long, hair again, okay and then i will make sure that my, like part, is good and do some hairspray like that. Another thing i like to do is to kind of make the extensions a little more full turn off. My strainer before i burn myself, um i'll go through and just kind of just kind of barely do that. It just gives them a little more texture. So they're not so like thin and perfect, looking they're a little more messy, so you can see the difference just after doing that a little bit alright! So then, let me turn around, so you can see the back and hopefully you can actually see it all. So that is how i do my extensions. Of course extensions are going to look better if you have naturally longer hair they're just going to blend better. It'S going to not be as thin at the bottom, because i have a lot of like fullness right in here. That'S why i like to add texture to the top of my head and just kind of make it blend, but i mean these are 20 inch extensions. Those are really long, so the fact that i can wear them with my shorter hair and not have it be, like obvious, is crazy to me um. These extensions feel really nice, like they don't feel like some extensions feel kind of more ratty like they. Just i don't know i just they get really tangly and weird really easy. These feel really nice and silky, and they just they look like hair like it doesn't. Look like cheap, shiny, waxy, fake hair, and i mean i'm going to grow my hair out now, so that when i do extensions, it'll help just build more fullness and a little bit of length instead of just giving me a lot of length. But i do also have 18 inch extensions, so they'll be a little bit shorter and blend a little bit easier. So just keep that in mind, they do have 16 inch as well, so you could even go shorter than this. I just go big or go home. Is what i say so i am so excited now, i'm going to go film, a uh haul of like hair accessories. I really wanted to do my extensions so that i had long hair to play with hair accessories and hair stuff so yeah. I am gon na love these and, like i said i have a coupon code, for you guys go check them out. They have a lot of great options. I am just excited to have long, hair again so yeah. That is it for this video. Thank you guys. So much for watching please subscribe if you haven't already.
