The first few days with your new extension installation can be quite uncomfortable. The tension caused from bonds or braids being too tight can lead to tension headaches or they can lead to what we call tension bumps tension. Headaches can typically be resolved with some over-the-counter pain relievers. Like acetaminophen or ibuprofen, whereas the tension bumps, which are caused from the follicles being pulled too tightly and creating an irritation, can be resolved with over-the-counter antihistamines such as benadryl. Another thing we can do is use the dollylocks dreadlock refreshing spray. Now I know that this says dreadlock, but it's actually for your scalp scalp irritations are common with dreadlock users, because their hair is being pulled into tight, ponytails all over the head, which is similar to what you're going through right now. So this product is made to be incredibly moisturizing and also with the tea tree. It'S going to be an antifungal and natural antibacterial as well. So when you combine all of those three elements with your antihistamine, your pain, reducer and with your topical, it's going to be a much much easier time thanks for watching and if you liked this video make sure that you subscribe to our channel so that you never Miss a beat, and if you need products for your projects, check out doctored locks comm for all your hair extension needs.

SisterSunshineTV: Just got my first extensions ever and wow the pain is harsh!!

Kelley Broussard: I got tape in hair extensions two days ago - and I am in agony! It's hard to explain what it is exactly that hurts so much - but the ones around my face are the most painful... I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one, I've been searching through youtube about discomfort after tape in hair extension installations - and this video was all that I could find on the topic... I wonder if your refreshing spray would help ease it at all...? I'll try anything at this point!

Dalia Foster: im so happy i found your website and this channel, but i was wondering if its possible to do a tutorial of how to do an ombre style dreadlocks from black to maybe green or blue with the kk jumbo braid please??
