Hair Extensions With Micro-Links; Cylinder Beads

Section the hair neatly, and leave enough hair around the hairline to allow the hair to be worn up, or to wear sunglasses (about 2 inches). Match the micro-link to the closest shade of the hair color. Use the pooling needle to add the micro-link beads into the hair, and feed the hair to the links; tighten with the plier like tool. To remove the links and the hair extensions; use the same plier tool to loosen the link and carefully remove the hair and the bead. The hair could be re-used. Yohaira Kolb from Goddess Salon and Spa teaches how to apply the links, and explains the difference between the keratin bonds and the microlinks; how to choose extensions based on the client's lifestyle; how much bonding glue to leave on the hair, and how much to cut off the top to be able to re-use it. Some links are applied by Africa Martinez. Find them on www.valleygoddess.com. Okay, so your section should be clean in line at the bottom, as well as on the top, and then the area that you take should be also neat so that all the hairs are coming from. Only the small section that you're working around you give just a little bit of room for the hair extension to be able to move. We move it up and down and then it should be pressed very, very tightly and you still have a mover back and down and be completely flat against the clients head so that you don't feel it okay to give a needle, and then you grab the cylinder. Then section the hair and grab it make sure the needle good, how many needles officially doing about four, so how many taxi use these on a person with regular maintenance, anymore hair, it's really little air, but if they just want to like extensions back here. This is a member like you aw. How cute so have to be. You please have a you can use. One is like press like right now, but once you watch that it gets more volume and how would you remove it, you remove it with one of these openers mm-hmm, please, coming across all of the class is 995 the same song. There'S different cylinders crisis in the whole mall, but you already gave them $ 100. I hear out and you remove so um the big one house and you can reuse to here yeah it can you need to learn here. You know doing it. You know the edge of my field is in micro link that you can actually make a sauce rather section. Oh you're welcome. Thank you very much if anybody wants to sign up for more information and sign up for the right yeah, but we're trying to station so we're going to get all of that out of the way. Consultation is a primary key to selling your hair extensions, because a lot of people just want to ask questions, but if you know what you, what you're going to do, you know what your you know, your your job is to know how to do it. It shows on that client. Is there immediately going to say? Okay, let's do it if you are not prepared, if you don't have the knowledge you haven't done it yourself, they will notice that you're a little uncomfortable and that you're not completely sure of the end. So they're not going to be like. Well, I'm not going to give you three hundred or five hundred dollars if I might not like it so that you're, using the mirror to the best of you know according to the application, without having to resource into having to tell the client just the basics. From from what we're going to teach, you is technique, method of application, according to obviously the clients type of hair texture, how much hair they have, how they wear their hair and also if the hair is or, of course, how to make it so that it blends. Naturally, so, first of all, what we are going to teach you is how to apply hair extensions without them, looking fake, obviously or without them. Looking like hair extensions or the clips showing or the client not being able to wear the hair up or curl it or anything like that, we're going to teach you how to do it seamlessly comfortable and also so that you are applying it the best way. So the hair is not stressed by applying it correctly the way the hair grows. Naturally, so what we do is you are going to section the hair in in four sections, when you have your client, obviously you want to always leave enough hair to allow the client to wear their hair up if there to have it in a ponytail to be Able to cover the micro links underneath normally about two fingers from the ear gives it enough space to Oakley. Also wear their sunglasses comfortably. You don't want to put them right on the hairline, because obviously they're going to show if they put their hair up and you're. Also going to leave about two fingers in the front so that they can wear it back and not show there's a lot of different types of links that you can use. For example, this this doll head has very thick hair, say the client has very thick coarse hair. You want to use a needle that can pull a little bit more hair and some tubes that can fit a little bit more of the clients hair inside to hold it tight and secure. You want to make sure that, in the space that you get in the tube that this piece and the clients hair is going to feel snug in there, you don't want to have a lot of space, because when you close it it, the space is on this Side, so it's going to slip out so the clients hair will come through the sides. Eventually, the hair extensions will come out the next time they brush their hair. So you want to match the micro links exactly to the closest shade as the clients hair color. Obviously, you don't want like this. You know to stick out. It was just for practice, so what you're going to do is you're going to grab a little section with your finger. This way, you're going to use your pulley needle and grab in an area where you're not pulling hair from different directions. Just stay within the area that you're going to be working in this is going to allow the hair to grow, naturally with the clip without pulling hair from other sections. So it's not going to cost tangle is not going to cause friction on the hair, and it's not going to make that you know client, obviously pull that out by brushing hair that's coming from different directions. So once you have it tight in there here, you're going to apply your hair in there and also so that when you press it, it lays flat. Naturally, okay, you don't want to press it too close to the scalp, because and then it does that you put the little tubes in here and you're going to pull hair with this loop in the front right here. So that is incorrect way to apply it. What this is going to do is it's pulling hair towards the you know the side at an angle, so when the clients brushing it's pulling from the scalp, so you're going to have a lot of hair, that's going to come off right there. If you have like the way that it naturally grows and you leave room to to allow it for it to fall naturally, and the client wants to wear it their hair up because there's room, they can pull it up without it sticking out if it's sticking out, Like this, when the client pulls it up, it's going to part the hair. So all you're going to see is the tip of the tube sticking out kind of like that out to know when it's okay to reuse, the hair, depending on the obviously the client's lifestyle. If they're going to the gym and watching the hair everyday you're not going to have all hair extensions, so every time they wash and brush the hair, you're theming it out. So obviously, if they come back in three months and they want to reuse the same hair, it's not going to be the same you're gon na be like well. Why doesn't it feel full and great as the first time you did it, so you have to be prepared, like analyzing, a keratin is actually the worst method out there. I think a lot of people tend to pull their hair out more with keratin, because usually there's a lot more bonding than the Lynx involved. So there's a lot of hair that they grab just to, and it depends how it's done also there's a lot of hair that they grab. You know from the client it's bonded, cuz glued. A lot of the clients are using hot tools to fly on or curl the hair. The the glue gets all over the place and it sticks hair from other sections, creating a lot of tension. So a lot of people have a lot of breakage from from the keratin. It'S not easier, it's not healthier for the hair and it doesn't last longer so there's no reason to go from something as simple as this. If you know how to apply it, if you get your technique, you know going if you're fast. This is the best way your clients will be able to regrow their hair if they have short, hair and they'll be really happy with you, because their their hair is not falling out or breaking up make sure that you're not grabbing like, for example, like herring, like Different directions like this, you don't want to just like, go and randomly like grab like that see how there's hair like coming from over there, this hair coming from over here. It'S not going to be a neat application, there's going to be here that is going to break eventually. If the client you know brushes through because it's pulling it from such far away like from over there, that it's not in one situation like it's, not in one place, so when they're brushing they're going to brush on top of that hair - that's being pulled from over Here and it's going to break off so it has to be done. Neatly grab your sections clean, like that, and this loop is pretty much the size, the amount of hair that you're going to need so loop it in there. This covers the little glass covers the hair. So when you bring your your tube down, it's not going to come off the loop and you get a neat see. Okay, so you, obviously you don't want it sticking out. You don't want the glue sticking out on the top, because you can feel it all you need is just to make sure that it's through the hole and just peeking out a little bit, because when you press it, you don't want it coming out on the top Right here, sticking up so see the tip right here, it's like a stick as my finger. It feels really hard and it sticks out about um. It should be well just enough so that you are able to move in without pulling the hair okay just but this glue. Yet you don't need to have that much glue on there. Just as much just goes underneath the two just uh just about to cover just a little bit under the tube, because what what happens is if they're gon na reuse the hair. Obviously you want to leave enough of that bonding without breaking it. So, every time you press it, it's going to break up a little bit more, so you want to leave enough for like future use, you can cut the tip off a little bit and put that back in there, but as far as this that that would be Very uncomfortable because it's so hard

Ruth Binetti: Thank you for posting this ! Great vid and explanations. May I ask .... Do you need to be careful about the conditioner you use with "all" micro beads ? Or just some of them? I had my extensions slip because I used conditioner with parafen ( I think it's called ) in it.. and was told not to use products with a whole list of ingredients in them...is there any micro beads that don't slip no matter what ? .. thanks from Australia ! :))

BeautyHealthTravel: It depends on how you take care of your hair and your hair's ability to hold the bond. It varies from person to person. If you'd like, do a couple of strands and test it out before doing fusion on your entire head of hair.

BeautyHealthTravel: It should stay if it is tightened enough, but, yes, some conditioners have softeners and shiners that make the bead slip. If you use the conditioner on the ends of your hair and avoid the roots, it will stay better. Greetings from U.S.

BeautyHealthTravel: It doesn't break if you remove the loops with care. You can wash the hair and there is a loop brush designed to comb the hair, or you can comb below the loops or over them lightly.

Marissa Kay: Can't wait to try this! Great video.

Princess Darrya: Very helpful . Thank you !

Delphinia Pickett: what is the difference between cylinders from dream catchers & this micro links? I like the easy wand. it is easier than the string I have to use dream catcher provided. is the cylinders metal? copper?

Dean Prasad: I want to do the course just for the teacher, she teaches so well!

Robin & Damian: Great video!! I know how to do the feather extensions so its very similar. What hair do you recommend most

Fatima L Smith: Very good video your close up was very helpful! Thank you

Jasminë _: how long does this take and does it take out your hair?

J Magic: Are there any extension that would bend well with naturally curly hair?

BeautyHealthTravel: Yes, it is metal and bend with the use of the tool. Surely, not perfect for everyone, but works for many.

tellbrown: love this video very informative

Cari Collazo: I've seen there before and afters and they look really good

BeautyHealthTravel: You can try the 100 strands of hair first and see if it works with your hair. I know that more hair is more money, so, if 100 hair works, why not save some money? Later on you can also add more hair. Let me know how it worked out!

BeautyHealthTravel: The best way to know is to test each one and see which one works for the hair.

Crystal Crystal: What's the difference between silcone beads vs non silicone beads

BeautyHealthTravel: Yes, I think so. It also depends on your hair texture, but it is enough.

A Ortiz: how many pieces of the micro extensions to fill one layer ? and i just ordered 100 pieces, will that be enough?

NyemaSimone: I have super thin hair (so thin that braids can only last 48 hours) and I want fusions for thickness. Would my hair be able to last at least month?

Claudia Torres: great video. I searched trew a website, and they mirolinks are silicone (inside) and regular. What is better? Also what do recomend for thin. Fine hair the small microlinks or the cilinder ones? thanks

Marina Paul: great video, thank you!

Franklin Sepulveda: very good ... congrats to the teacher !!

JoAnn De La Torre: was wondering should i do all the hair except for 2 ' from hair line of course but from above the ears down all of hair not sure if im explaining my self right.

Keyira Danielle: Where can I buy the hair and tools for this process?

BeautyHealthTravel: It is a metal link that is squeezed on the natural hair.

Kimmy Webber: How long does this take for a full head???

Melissakisses82: its not metal its actually made from silicone<3

Wig Works & Extensions For Hair: Micro links are ok. The only benefit is you can reuse the hair maybe 3 times  .  They are just as damaging as the keratin/ glue type .  The benefit of the Keratin, if you take care and are using good hair they can stay in for 5 months.   Micros need to be tightened often…Sometimes you can pay more…. a lot of variables

TheKatieS S: nope. It's not painful while removing, you would just have to do it carefully and do not pull the extention fast away, do it slowly-so that u will not pull out your natural hair:)

Keja Wynn: What hold the extensions on the hair...is it some type if glue or adhesive or something

Sia: Interesting☺

Aliya: can you do micro bead extensions on bangs?

Mesha Carmichael: Is the micro link metal?

Dawn Love: I tried Aemilie hair extensions and they are the best.

Shantele M.: where can i purchase these things ?

BeautyHealthTravel: You can get them from beauty supplies and online. Just put hair extension tools in he search engine.

Tammy Sherman: when you get to the top of the head, where do you stop?

HelloViida: I like how you do it tho

Karen Perera: Hi do the come off with time or is it like permanent?

Rainbow Dozen Farm: It is metal, the inside is often rimmed with silicone in order to protect and cushion the hair, and to keep them from slipping out so easily. If installed properly they last for a few months. I don't like them for all over the head, but they are great for kids (adding fun colors) and they work in a pinch.

Hair Extensions Full Stop: Great job..

CandyChristine17: I was thinking the exact same thing!

Octovia Pederson: those fall out pretty easily i used to have then then i switched to clip ins

Rachelle Bowman: Where can I purchase the item at..??

ˋTear Drop ́: wow that must be hard to remove

12MissCarter: @BeautyHealthTravel Im african american and i have medium length hair i just wanted to know how many strands of hair i would need to cover my whole head ? i have really goo hair its not too thick and not too thin so i dont know how many strands should i get one hundred or 200 ????

danilishus: This was the absolute best tutorial out of all of them. You don't use the loop which looks harder. Thanks for posting

Camille Perry: I have microlinks with cylinder beads and have relocated to Michigan - can you forward a salon who follows this procedure so I can have them raised (after growth) - help! So far, I cannot find anyone who has these particular microlinks. The last person that tried literally pulled my own hair out and couldn't raise the extensions! Thank you!

alexis crowell: WHAT IS THAT TOOL CALLED

Marichu Martija: i only realized they were using a maniquin like 2 mins through lol

I AM MILLIONAIRE: Love❤

Kelly Johnson: i got mine from aemilie hair.. they sell everything that you will need

Marise Desir: Where I can find the address please?

1onelywalker: CAN I GET ANY TIP ON HOW THEY CAN STAY LONGER CAUSE MINE FALL REALLY FAST!!!!  :(

BeautyHealthTravel: @qwrxishanteleOnline and in beauty supply stores, but, mostly from people who teach extension classes; find them online. I don't want to give any names or preference, but, you can type hair extension tools, and there would be bunch of websites offering them.
