Hi guys welcome back to a house of home. Okay hope everyone is doing well. If you're new to this channel, then don't forget to hit the subscribe button and the notification barrel so that you can be notified anytime. We post new content, so you might be wondering why I'm showing you this room. Well, we are like loads of other businesses and here in the UK, we've all had to close down so that we can keep people safe from this new coronavirus. And so I quickly made a little home office, slash filming space so because we've had to close down the salon, we are getting a lot of calls from clients who are asking us. How are we supposed to remove our braid? Let'S weave hair extensions so in this video, I'm gon na be showing you how you can remove your braid, just weave hair extensions at home with the help of a family member or a friend, safe and easy. The two methods that I'm going to be showing you to remove today are gon na, be the LA weave, hair extensions and our quick whiffed hair extensions. So, let's quickly go over the tools and equipment that you're going to need to remove your own hair extensions at home. So, first off you want to get yourself a brush, a soft brush that will allow you to brush over the weft of the hair extensions without any pulling or snagging on your natural hair. Then you want a couple of clips or a hairband so that you can clip away your own natural hair, all the weft rows away from each other, so that you can safely remove the west's above or below. You want to get yourself some small scissors. If you're going to be removing a braid, this weave or LA weave, hair extensions, you also want some pliers that have got quite flat teeth. You don't want ones where they're really really jagged household pliers you can use household prized, don't have to use professional pliers, but you want to make sure they've got flat teeth so that they don't kind of pull into your hair. Then you want to use a rat tail comb so that you can detangle the hair and then eventually comb through any knots that you might have. The first method I'm gon na be removing is what we would call in house of hair. The quick weft hair extensions and that's where a small amount of your hair above and below the weft track, is used and secured together with a small micro bead before starting any removal process. We want to make sure that you thoroughly brush through all of your own hair and section away all of your leave out. So all of your hair that is left out at the top. You want to put that in a hair band detangle in the hair. Extensions is one of the most important parts of the removal. You want to make sure that you use your soft brush and that you brush the track underneath and above and detangle, and remove any of your dead hair strands and make sure there's no knots in place for when you're ready to actually remove the beads alessandra. We need to take out your hair extensions, you're gon na see around an inch and a half to two inch growth, and it allows you to put your hand underneath the bead hold the bead and your natural hair firmly in place. Use your pliers, like. I said that don't have to be professional pliers, you can use household pyres, but you want to make sure they don't have sharp edges. And then you want to squeeze very, very gently onto that micro, bead you're, not trying to get the micro bead back into a round shape you're just trying to loosen the beads that you can slide it off of your hair. If you've had your hair extensions in for longer than the six to eight weeks that we would recommend, then it's very likely that you're going to see some tangling and a bit of kind of knot and build up of your dead hair around the track of the Hair extensions, so I just wanted to give you a more realistic look of how your hair extensions might look and feel because the hair extensions may have grown out. You might have a lot of tangling, which is above the weft that you weren't able to brush until you actually removed the West. Now I don't want you to go in with a comb or with a brush. What I want you to use is the rat tail end of your comb and poke through each of those little knots or tangled it and separate it with your fingers. Once you have separated it and it's not free, then you can go in with your comb or with your brush here. I just wanted to demonstrate to you guys that you do not need to squeeze your bead back into a round shape. The aim is just to loosen the bead away from your hair's. If you can see here, it's still quite flat, but it's loose enough. They can slide off of your natural hair. So the second hair extensions method that I'm going to be removing is the LA we've. What we call the LA weave, they're, also known as braids, this weave micro, mink weft and got a wide range of names, depending on the area that you live in and who your stylist is. So these hair extensions have got a bead row as the foundation and then your weft track is stitched on top. So, for some clients this is a more realistic look of how your hair extensions will look at the point of removal, like I said, with the other hair extensions, you're gon na have a little bit of buildup of dead hair. You might have some tangling on some parts of the hair. Extensions may need the area that you're more likely to sleep on. You tend to get a little bit of friction and a little bit of tangling. So you want to make sure that you brush thoroughly through your hair extensions, use a soft brush and brush it right through the track to the ends of your hair, ensuring that you detangle and got no knots. If you come across a section that is unable to be brushed, you just can't get through it with the actual soft brush, then you want to go again. It was a rat tail end of your comb and gently separate it. So you want to detangle it with the tail end of the comb, separate it with your fingers until there is no knots in place at all. So you want to make sure that all of your own hair is tucked away either use a section clip or use a hairband. It'S really important that none of your stray strands of hair are actually hanging down, because, with this hair extensions, you will need to cut away at the thread. I find that it's much easier to use either nail scissors or very small medical scissors to remove this particular hair extensions method. If you use large scissors, then you're at risk of cutting into your own hair or cutting into the weft track. So, as you can see, what I'm doing here is, I am doing a little tiny snip just in front of every single micro, bead or just above the actual weft row of hair extensions you'll be able to fill the actual thread. I would prefer that if you guys are going to remove this at home, then you ask a friend or family member if they can actually do the cutting part. Removing the beads yourself is actually not that difficult, but actually cutting the threads is not difficult, but you are at risk of cutting your own hair. So, just for safety reasons, I would recommend that you get someone to help you with that. Once you've removed the weft track, you might find that you still have some tangling underneath or above the actual micro beads, if you're unable to brush them out. Naturally, or you know, brush them out with your soft brush, then again you want to go in with your rat tail comb and you want to detangle them section by section. This is really important, so you don't put any tension on your hair or don't pull out any of your hair. You want to gently: go in with the rat tail end of the comb detangle it brush it all out and then remove your micro beads and again, just like you did with the quick left, hair extensions removal you want to go in and you want to just Gently squeeze the micro bead. The aim is not to make it go into a round shape. That aim is just to loosen it off of your natural hair. So you don't want it to go back round. You don't want to squeeze it too tight. Otherwise, you could end up clamping it back onto itself and it could fold and that's very, very difficult for it to come out of your hair. So you want to squeeze it gently so that you loosen it away from your hair and then take out each bead. After you've taken out each bead, you then want to brush your hair again, and your hair is free of hair extensions. Thank you guys for watching.
